Gasthaus zur Schweiz in Lenggries

Unfortunately, not recommended! The wine wasn't at the right temperature, and we had to wait over an hour for the food. The meat and potatoes weren't seasoned, the beans were overcooked, and the onions were from a packet.

Beautiful location, good service, and delicious food. What more could you want?

Excellent cuisine. Reservations are required, otherwise it's almost impossible to get a table.

Was there for a birthday dinner. The atmosphere is homey with a great view of the Alps from certain seating positions. There aren't many food option, but those that exist are executed exquisitely and elevated to the next level! The wait staff was reasonably busy (understandable as more patrons arrived throughout our time there), yet still very attentive and friendly. Would absolutely recommend!

Very friendly service, moderate prices and really great food. I had to eat the cordon bleu with potato/cucumber salad twice! This really tasted homemade. Thank you!

I've been coming to Lenggries from the Palatinate region since I was a child, and then, of course, I go to the Swiss inn in Schlegeldorf. The food is always delicious! From the saddle of venison with homemade spaetzle, to the Barbaie duck breast, to the desserts like marzipan-stuffed dates and nut sorbet... the service is always friendly and attentive. The prices are reasonable, in my opinion. Even if you sometimes have to wait a bit... the trip to the inn is always worth it, even if she lives a bit farther away! Thank you for the consistently great food and the wonderful childhood memories. We'd love to come back! See you soon!

I couldn't leave the restaurant satisfied yesterday. Food took almost 90 minutes. The prices are quite high, but the portions are sometimes extremely small. I ordered a duck breast, I only got a few thin slices. A comment I made to the waitress was acknowledged, but there was no small concession from the kitchen. Too bad.

It wasn't cheap and hadn't been there for a while. But for no particular reason. But the food would be great and the service would be friendly and fast. Gladly again often.

If you come there without a reservation, even though everything was still free, you will simply be sent away instead of first occupying a table with the time of the reservation which then comes later. Other restaurants can do this too, this one doesn't need it, pride comes before a fall !

There were six of us in lovely weather and sat outside. We all liked the food very much, and the drinks (wine and various beers) were very good. The service was very friendly and the price/performance ratio was right. We will be back!

Essen war sehr gut. Wenn wir hier in Lenggries im Urlaub sind, dann müssen wir hier essen gehen. Bis jetzt noch nicht enttäuscht worden....

Der gesamte Außenbereich, besonders der Bereich Garten ist ungepflegt und selbst die Bepflanzung bekommt anscheinend keinerlei Pflege. Das Essen hat gute Wirtshausqualität. Die Preise sind mittlerer Bereich. Der Vorspeisenteller ist in Anbetracht dessen was darauf zu finden ist allerdings viel zu teuer. 16,90 sind definitiv 6,90 zuviel dafür.

Sehr gutes Essen. Ein Gedicht die Lammschmorhaxe, Preislich etwas gehoben. Aber gutes Essen darf auch seinen Preis kosten. Schönes Panorama auf Terrasse. Sehr freundliche Bewirtung. Immer wieder gerne.

Also das Essen war selbst gemacht und auch wirklich gut. Das Ambiente war mir zu heimelig und eher aufgesetzt. Das Essen war wirklich gut!

Ein Restaurant mit sehr leckeren Gerichten und wir gehen immer wieder gerne dorthin. Bei unserem letzten Besuch war es jedoch recht frisch im Restaurant, was schade war. Hinterher waren wir alle durchgefroren.

Sehr nette Bedienung, hervorragendes Essen. Zur Zeit sehr zu empfehlen ist die Steinpilzvorspeise.

Ein wunderschönes urbayrisches gasthaus mit vorzüglichen Küche. Die Preise sind bei der Qualität mehr als gerechtfertigt. Fast nicht zu glauben das die Wirtin das gasthaus schon fast 40 Jahre führt. Die Qualität überzeugt. Wir kommen ganz sicher wieder. Vielen Dank

Der absolute Hammer! Kleine, aber exquisite Speisekarte... Da schleckt man glatt die Teller ab ☺️ spitzen Service, aller feinste Sahne... der Zwiebelrostbraten, die Kalbsleber, das Vitello tonnato und erst das Lammkarree, super Quazund eine Küche,die damit umzugehen versteht

Seeehr gutes Essen. Kleine aber sehr feine Speisekarte. Kein großer Schnickschnack. Wer hervorragend essen möchte, ist hier auf jeden Fall richtig. Werden sicherlich wieder kommen.

Wir waren mit einer Gruppe vo 10Pers. am 22.07.2022 hier zum Abendessen und es war super genial. Sehr unkompliziert, super leckeres Essen (Oma kocht noch selber in der Küche) und super freundliche Bedienungen, hier nochmals lieben Dank an die Rosi (oder Resi) für den netten Abend. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und kann dieses Gashaus wärmstes weiterempfehlen.
