We were in transit and very hungry. Even though everything was reserved, we were still allowed to sit down. We all really enjoyed the food. Everything was so fresh! Very friendly and quick service! The inn is very well maintained and clean! That was really great, thank you!!!

We stopped here at the end of our bike tour and had dinner. We were served quickly and in a very friendly manner. The food (schnitzel and roulade) was very tasty. The service, the food, the ambience, everything was perfect. Highly recommended!

Hello, we arrived here spontaneously today and wanted to have dinner. Unfortunately it was a closed company. And we were offered to stand on the bus seat and eat our food in the motorhome. Totally lovely and nice and above all uncomplicated and I have service and flexible. We would like to thank you again for the nice interaction. We can recommend it at any time and would be happy to come back.

Nice family restaurant. Homely atmosphere. Good food at a good price. I recommend it to anyone who wants to feel the taste of a provincial restaurant. There are also rooms for rent.

Friendly inn near the motorway exit with generous space, large parking lot and small children's playground and beer garden. The menu is extensive and the food is good. Price/performance ratio is appropriate. The employees are courteous and very friendly. Dogs are also welcome. I can't rate the rooms, we only stayed in the inn.

Landed here purely by chance and, as usual when we are in Franconia, ordered and ate a Schäufele. It was really great, the service was loving and everything was served quickly.

I stayed here when my son got married. I had my wife, my sister, my nephew and his wife, and a niece. Being the only one who spoke German wasn't a problem. The owners and staff were fantastic! I would gladly stay here again and would recommend it to anyone.

We were traveling as a cycling group and were pampered at the Gasthaus Peter for a week. We were able to park our e-bikes safely in a garage and there was also an option to charge the batteries. The kitchen in the house has to be praised highly, the breakfast offers everything you need to start the day satisfied. The highlight, however, is a visit to the in-house restaurant: the food is lovingly prepared, the taste is hard to beat and it is also inexpensive. The owner also gave a whole range of very useful tips for the upcoming bike tours. We can only thank you very much again!

Very warm welcome, we were also able to enjoy a great snack, even though the kitchen had already been tidied up. Thank you also for allowing me to spend the night in the motorhome in the parking lot. We'd love to come back

We visited the Gasthaus Peter in Horlach on a Sunday afternoon. The overall impression was very good. Everything was clean, including the kitchen. We were in the nicely designed beer garden and were treated to various dishes and beers, including from Wunsiedel!!! Everyone enjoyed it excellently. The staff was very nice, open-minded and quick. Good value for money and everything is freshly made. You can hear the schnitzel knocking.☺️ I liked it. I give it a 💯% recommendation. Oh yes, there is a ramp for wheelchair users. And last but not least, what always makes me particularly happy, dogs 🐶🐕 are also very welcome. My special thanks for that We would like to come again. Class!!!! 😃👍🏻

Beautiful inn with delicious Franconian food and beautiful, well-kept guest rooms. The breakfast buffet was extensive and left nothing to be desired. Have already booked our next stay.

If you could give 6 stars it would be an understatement. Very nice stay, plus the Franconian cuisine, plus a very long family tradition. Unfortunately I forgot to take pictures of the food, the plate was empty before the picture could be taken. After the good meal there was a nice walk 😊

It's really a family atmosphere here, as the whole place has been owned and managed by the family for over 100 years. Well-furnished, modern rooms and a restaurant with an extensive menu make a visit very pleasant. And the path south from the house quickly leads to Franconian Switzerland on foot.

We were in transit, stopped, ate and had something to drink...for 3 starters, 4x main menu, 3 alcoholic drinks, 3 non-alcoholic drinks €70, incredibly cheap...and very good quality food. Thanks to the team

Always friendly staff and super tasty food at reasonable prices. The dining room, as well as cutlery, plates, glasses, tables, benches/chairs and the toilets are always clean. The beer garden is extremely cozy and there is a small play area for kids. I can't say anything about the rooms as I've never stayed there. The inn itself has a sufficiently large parking lot and, thanks to its location on the direct edge of the Veldenstein Forest, invites you to take a wonderful walk after your meal.

We stayed at the Gasthaus Peter for one night on business and felt very comfortable. The rooms are very clean and everything is very lovingly furnished. The innkeepers are very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was lovingly prepared and the price-performance ratio was great. Thank you for the outstanding hospitality and we will definitely be back.

We discovered the Peter Inn by chance and now go there often. The service is top and in our opinion the food is the best in the area! Whether it's a lunch menu or an evening menu, there's a good selection, the portions are just right and the price is great! Really highly recommended!!

Very tasty lunch - would love to come back

I was there for a family celebration and was more than positively surprised by the inn: hearty food that was very, very tasty, courteous, polite and guest-oriented service and a spacious double room including a loggia/balcony. And the icing on the cake: parking spaces right in front of the front door. I felt very comfortable here and am sure to visit this place again.

Hatten an einem Sonntag Jägerbraten und Schweinebraten. Beides war aufgewärmtes Schweinefleisch, den dunklen Rändern am Fleisch zu urteilen evtl. schon mehrmals. Das schmeckt einfach nicht. Die Speiseteller (also das Porzellan selbst) sind sehr klein.

Wir kennen das Gasthaus Peter schon viele Jahre, einige Familienfeiern fanden dort statt. Wir kommen, auch, wenn wir nicht mehr in Franken leben, immer wieder gerne in dieses Gasthaus. Freundliche Menschen empfangen die Gäste. Das Essen ist sehr schmackhaft. Auch zu den Zimmern kann man nur Positives berichten. Es wurde viel investiert, um ein modernes Flair mit Wohlfühlcharakter zu erreichen. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Zimmer kann ich nicht beurteilen da wir immer nur zum Essen dort sind... Und das Essen ist einfach immer super LECKER egal was man bestellt... Waren gerade erst wieder da.

Wir sind super spontan bei dem herzlichen Familienbetrieb untergekommen. Großzügiges Doppelzimmer mit Balkon (80€), hell und sauber. Kind und Hund waren sehr willkommen. Tolles Erlebnis auf unserer Durchreise nach Südtirol. Dankeschön!

Wir sind jetzt schon mehrfach mit der ganzen Familie im Gasthaus Peter gewesen, haben ganz verschiedene Sachen gegessen und sämtliche Speisen waren überdurchschnittlich gut zubereitet und sehr schmackhaft. Der Service, das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis - alles stimmt hier. Hübscher Außenbereich, auch eine Rutsche für die Kinder - wir freuen uns auf die warme Jahreszeit. Sehr positiv anzumerken ist, dass auch Kreditkartenzahlung akzeptiert wird, was in der Region eher die Ausnahme ist. Einzig: es gibt leider nur eine Sorte alkoholfreies Weizenbier, welches leider überhaupt nicht unser Geschmack ist. Aber das ist ja Geschmackssache ;-)

Hier klopt alles. Gigantisch uitgebreid ontbijt na een goede nachtrust in uitstekende bedden. Badkamer zeer goed. Ontbijt perfekt en het avondeten daar zijn geen woorden voor zo goed als het is. De eigenaren zijn geweldig in de omgang met hun gasten. Altijd een babbeltje en geven informatie en zoeken zelfs dingen voor je op. Geweldig, Geweldig.
