Spent a lovely evening with dear friends, enjoying good food and very attentive and friendly staff. We all got our drinks quickly. The food arrived very quickly after ordering, and we were all able to eat together. A very nice, bright, and clean restaurant. The non-alcoholic 🍺 was very good. The terrace was very nice, although the weather wasn't so great. We'll be happy to come back. Great team at Gasthaus Peter

We got a room super spontaneously, even though the guesthouse was already closed, but they made it possible for us anyway! We had a fantastic and very relaxing stay. And the breakfast was so generous; we absolutely loved it and highly recommend it :)

A very pleasant atmosphere, fair prices, friendly service, and delicious food—what more could you need? Highly recommended! There's also a playground for children right outside, so they'll be well looked after while you wait for your food.

Our group booked an overnight stay. We were able to park our e-bikes in the garage. The rooms are spacious and modern, with large balconies. The breakfast is excellent, and the food in the restaurant is absolutely delicious. The hosts and staff are super friendly. Highly recommended.

A beautiful, clean inn with a great menu. The owner was very friendly, and the food was excellent. We had bratwurst with sauerkraut, and the bratwurst was excellently seasoned. We've rarely eaten such good food. The beer (dark) was very tasty. The prices were excellent. Still very good and the prices are good. We'll be back again. Everything was wonderful again.

This restaurant is a highlight, and not just on the A9. A very good cook, very good prices. We've rarely had such tasty, filling, and affordable food. We'd love to bring this restaurant back to Northern Germany. Many businesses could take a leaf out of their book! 10 stars 🌟 and please keep it that way!

On our way back from vacation, we were looking for a place to stop, but with the option of hiking, and we found it here. A very nice inn with a very friendly staff, beautiful, new rooms, and excellent food. We were very surprised that the restaurant was very full even on a Monday. Understandably, given the food. The prices are fair. The family lives their passion, and you can feel it. We'll definitely be back.

We were out and about and stumbled upon this wonderful inn. Good location, beautifully maintained building. The Schäufele is wonderful. The service is very friendly and accommodating. I highly recommend it.

Just a short detour from the A9 motorway exit at Pegnitz. Better eat here! Unfortunately, there's no charging station in town.

Restaurant review: Very (very) delicious food, friendly service. Plenty of restaurants, so that's a good sign :). Large parking lot in front of the door. Perfect for combining with a hike. Excellent value for money, even getting off the highway would be worth it.

If I could give it 6 stars, it would be an understatement. A very pleasant stay, plus the Franconian cuisine, which is part of a long family tradition. Unfortunately, I forgot to take pictures of the food; the plate was empty before I could take a picture. After the delicious meal, we went for a lovely walk 😊

Due to an extended bridge day, there are no more rooms at Booking in the area, luckily I cycled past here and inquired. Very friendly welcome, extra cars were parked for bicycle storage in the garage. Room bright, very clean. Delicious Franconian dinner, very good beer, nice little breakfast buffet. Very inexpensive, again at any time.

We had 4 totally different dishes (vegetarian dumplings, cordon bleu, roast pork and a salad with salmon). You can tell that someone put some thought into all four dishes. In addition, there is great service and very fair prices, I don't know the last time I paid €3.20 for half a liter of beer. Absolute recommendation!

If you're looking for really good, home-style German cuisine, I (as a chef) can advise you to stop by here. The food was delicious, the beer was delicious and the service was very friendly, on point and attentive. We will definitely stop here again.

Driven by hunger, we searched for a restaurant near the A9 on our way home with good food, where you can eat hot meals all day, have easy parking with your motorhome, and where dogs are welcome. We found everything we were looking for here and received a warm welcome. The food lived up to the reviews, and we can only agree. We'll definitely stop here again on one or another trip! Keep up the good work, you can do it!

We were lucky enough to stop there on a Saturday. The guest house is only open on Saturdays. I don't know what the accommodation is like there. But the restaurant is quaint and cozy. Whoever gets a spot there is lucky.

Just came for lunch on Saturday while travelling - the ambience was nice, lots of locals, staff spoke english, card payments were accepted.

Hello, we arrived here spontaneously today and wanted to have dinner. Unfortunately it was a closed company. And we were offered to stand on the bus seat and eat our food in the motorhome. Totally lovely and nice and above all uncomplicated and I have service and flexible. We would like to thank you again for the nice interaction. Friendly inn near the motorway exit with generous space, large parking lot and small children's playground and beer garden. The menu is extensive and the food is good. Price/performance ratio is appropriate. The employees are courteous and very friendly. Dogs are also welcome. I can't rate the rooms, we only stayed in the inn.

Landed here purely by chance and, as usual when we are in Franconia, ordered and ate a Schäufele. It was really great, the service was loving and everything was served quickly.

I stayed here when my son got married. I had my wife, my sister, my nephew and his wife, and a niece. Being the only one who spoke German wasn't a problem. The owners and staff were fantastic! I would gladly stay here again and would recommend it to anyone.

We were traveling as a cycling group and were pampered at the Gasthaus Peter for a week. We were able to park our e-bikes safely in a garage and there was also an option to charge the batteries. The kitchen in the house has to be praised highly, the breakfast offers everything you need to start the day satisfied. The highlight, however, is a visit to the in-house restaurant: the food is lovingly prepared, the taste is hard to beat and it is also inexpensive. The owner also gave a whole range of very useful tips for the upcoming bike tours. We can only thank you very much again!

We visited the Gasthaus Peter in Horlach on a Sunday afternoon. The overall impression was very good. Everything was clean, including the kitchen. We were in the nicely designed beer garden and were treated to various dishes and beers, including from Wunsiedel!!! Everyone enjoyed it excellently. The staff was very nice, open-minded and quick. Good value for money and everything is freshly made. You can hear the schnitzel knocking.☺️ I liked it. I give it a 💯% recommendation. Oh yes, there is a ramp for wheelchair users. And last but not least, what always makes me particularly happy, dogs 🐶🐕 are also very welcome. My special thanks for that We would like to come again. Class!!!! 😃👍🏻

It's really a family atmosphere here, as the whole place has been owned and managed by the family for over 100 years. Well-furnished, modern rooms and a restaurant with an extensive menu make a visit very pleasant. And the path south from the house quickly leads to Franconian Switzerland on foot.

We were in transit, stopped, ate and had something to drink...for 3 starters, 4x main menu, 3 alcoholic drinks, 3 non-alcoholic drinks €70, incredibly cheap...and very good quality food. Thanks to the team

Always friendly staff and super tasty food at reasonable prices. The dining room, as well as cutlery, plates, glasses, tables, benches/chairs and the toilets are always clean. The beer garden is extremely cozy and there is a small play area for kids. I can't say anything about the rooms as I've never stayed there. The inn itself has a sufficiently large parking lot and, thanks to its location on the direct edge of the Veldenstein Forest, invites you to take a wonderful walk after your meal.

The innkeepers are very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was lovingly prepared and the price-performance ratio was great. Thank you for the outstanding hospitality and we will definitely be back.

We discovered the Peter Inn by chance and now go there often. The service is top and in our opinion the food is the best in the area! Whether it's a lunch menu or an evening menu, there's a good selection, the portions are just right and the price is great! Really highly recommended!!

I was there for a family celebration and was more than positively surprised by the inn: hearty food that was very, very tasty, courteous, polite and guest-oriented service and a spacious double room including a loggia/balcony. And the icing on the cake: parking spaces right in front of the front door. I felt very comfortable here and am sure to visit this place again.
