The food didn't impress me. The veal schnitzel was dry. Perhaps I was just unlucky; every chef makes a mistake now and then. This time it happened to me—and therefore to the restaurant as well. What a shame.

The food was, as always, incredibly delicious and very plentiful. It tastes just like Grandma's – wonderfully authentic. The interior could use a renovation.

Reimanns Eck offers good German cuisine in a typical restaurant atmosphere. The service is friendly, and the menu, featuring typical German dishes and seasonal specials, offers something for every taste.

Probably our favourite German restaurant in northern Germany! Always appreciate the seasonal choice here, although the classics are also always on point. Service is friendly but can be quite slow if they are super full. Recommended to make a booking before you show up.

Our food was good, and the service staff's requests were appropriate and commendable. There were complaints at the neighboring table, which were addressed very well. When I asked about gluten-free food, I received good information and checked with the kitchen again. It's great that they serve hot meals continuously from 12 p.m. until probably 11 p.m.

We stumbled upon this place by chance and were very pleasantly surprised by the food. Everything was delicious, and the service was excellent (and friendly). We'd love to stop by again by chance. 😉

A very nice restaurant. It's considerably larger than it looks, but that doesn't detract from the cozy atmosphere. We were very accommodatingly treated by the warm, friendly, and attentive staff to an excellent, delicious breakfast brunch!

What are these delicious Maultaschen?

We were there with two people and were disappointed. The prices were completely overpriced. Wiener schnitzel with fried potatoes, cranberries, and lemon (small piece) for €28.90. And the fried potatoes were mushy and only lukewarm. Bottle of mineral water (0.75l) €7.90. Oh my gosh, that's okay. You can get this much cheaper elsewhere.

Table reservations are recommended; the "Eck" was very busy on a Wednesday, including larger groups. The cuisine is seasonal, with no shortage of traditional dishes from our region. Quite the opposite, which we guests appreciated. According to the list, the suppliers are based in Lower Saxony (with a focus on the Hanover region) and their products guarantee solid and consistent quality. And this was reflected in our dishes – lumberjack steak, schnitzel, brathändel (from the lunch menu), and my absolutely fresh garden salad, which could have been a bit more generous. Overall, we (four people) were very satisfied. The service staff couldn't have been more attentive. One of my favorite beers, the "Schwarze Steiger," comes from Dresden and is freshly tapped at the "Eck." A rarity for Hanover.

Our group of 22 people spent an evening at Reimann's Eck. What can I say: it was fantastic. Starting with the very friendly and attentive service team, who quickly served us drinks (we'd already been out and about in Hanover all day) and then our food. ...and the food was excellent! I received only positive feedback from our group. We felt very comfortable here and this certainly won't be the last time we'll be here. I therefore wholeheartedly recommend Reimann's Eck.

Service is terrible: cold side dishes and cold roast beef. They say roast beef is served cold. In every major German city, it's probably served warm. ... Insane More show than substance And if you sit in a beer garden, you have to pick up your own food... That's also absurd... And then the service yells at you when you mention it. And those ravens are annoying, even in normal cities, something is done about it. The customer is king. Never again from this dump.

I was in Hanover with my best friend today. We spontaneously decided on Reimanns Eck, and what can I say? Starting with the first-class service... For starters, we had homemade bread with homemade quark spread, and for the main course, we had incredibly delicious homemade Königsberger Klopse (a German meatball) with mashed potatoes and very fresh ingredients, prepared with a lot of love. Everything was just perfect; we've rarely had such a delicious meal. Thank you so much for this! A truly good German restaurant, the kind you unfortunately find very rarely these days. Next time we're in Hanover, we'll definitely be back!

Difficult to find a parking space, long wait, food was very salty, view is a matter of taste, prices are okay depending on the dish. Quite good for a German restaurant.

Based on a recommendation, we (4 persons) decided to try Reimanns Eck for dinner. It was a very pleasant evening, with attentive, friendly staff and very good food. We tried the Wiener Schnitzel and the Cordon Bleu (both beef / veal) and two fish entrees. The food was tasty, fresh and the portions were large enough to satisfy. The deserts were also quite good and scrumptious. A good choice and definitely a recommendations from us!

We were in the summer garden/beer garden—great, friendly service, and beer glasses straight from the freezer—perfect for this weather!

I ordered the straw-fed pork schnitzel with fried potatoes and salad from Lieferando. For a delivery, the food was very good quality. Everything was still really hot, the fried potatoes were nice and crispy, as was the schnitzel. Certainly not my last order.

I had lunch here today. I ordered a wild herb salad with chanterelles. Unfortunately, half of the lettuce leaves were bad, so I couldn't eat it. After I complained about the salad, I was still charged for it. Overall, very disappointing. Therefore, I can't recommend this place...

The food was really good and plentiful. A bit pricey, but still okay for the quality. The wine was also delicious.

I used to love eating here, and I have to say I was a bit shocked: the menu was completely different... no more roulades, very little variety. Well, there was asparagus... I love it... actually. Unfortunately, it came out sour, and I have no idea what they did with the hollandaise sauce... it was a foam that tasted like white wine. Then cranberries with the asparagus... hmmmm. They made my asparagus again, and it was okay... but overall: delicious, it's really different. The veal schnitzel was OK, but nothing more. 38 euros... faaaaar too expensive.

The selection of dishes could be changed, it's been the same for years.

Great food: fresh asparagus with a side dish, very friendly service, and the schnitzels are top-quality. You can see where the food comes from on the menu. Our child raves about the blueberry crumble with a scoop of ice cream all the time. We were there again on May 26, 2025; it was great for a birthday/family dinner.

Two of us were there today. The restaurant was busy but not full. We got our starters, our table was cleared and then the wait began. We waited at least 45 minutes until a waitress noticed that our order hadn't been taken correctly. Another 20 minutes and we finally had our food. The zander fillet was delicious, but unfortunately very simply accompanied by a huge portion of cooked spinach. The vegan Maultaschen (ravioli) weren't great either. Simply fried in lots of butter. The dessert was delicious, although we had to wait a long time for it again. Overall, the price-performance ratio wasn't quite right. The service was nice but very slow. I wouldn't go back for a while. It's a shame because it came highly recommended.

Home-style cooking: Veal schnitzel and Königsberger meatballs are highly recommended! The ambiance is appropriately rustic. The service was always attentive. Making a reservation by phone, followed by confirmation via email, is straightforward. We always feel welcome. A top address for German cuisine in Hanover.

The food was excellent, and the wait was absolutely reasonable, considering the food is prepared fresh. For dessert, we were informed that it would take an additional 20 minutes because the crumble was freshly made. We were happy to wait. We had the fried fish, the pike-perch, and the cordon bleu. For dessert, we had the mousse, rhubarb crumble, and the waffle. Everything was delicious, and the service was also very pleasant.

We were lucky to get a table without a reservation. The service on May 16th was moderately good. We ordered two glasses of wine and a carafe of water. A glass of wine arrived after a good 20 minutes. The second glass of wine and the carafe of water took another 15 minutes. The currywurst was okay, some of the fries were black. I imagine the fried potatoes to be different. The potato slices had been briefly tossed in the pan and had barely taken on any color. It's a shame that it was so much worse than expected that evening. We'd only heard good feedback from our friends so far. We'll definitely consider coming here again.

Seems to be an established establishment. During my visit, there were several well-off groups of retirees, flanked by families with children and people in their 40s. I would describe the ambiance as modern traditional. The restrooms are clean. The business is well-rehearsed, and the service staff are courteous and know the basics. I had a very good asparagus soup with pleasantly buttery croutons and plenty of asparagus. The Königsberger Klopse (a German dish of meatballs) with a well-balanced sauce and homemade creamy mashed potatoes were also impressive.

Dinner with seven people and six different dishes. All of them were plentiful and very tasty. We were all extremely satisfied. The friendly and attentive service, as well as the rustic ambiance, rounded off the experience. Thank you for a lovely evening!

Good down-to-earth cuisine with predominantly German dishes. However, once the food (brown cabbage with Bregenwurst, smoked pork, pork belly and potatoes) was only lukewarm. During our last visit in May 2025, the asparagus cream soup and the Berlin liver with mashed potatoes and onions 🧅 were excellent...

Very tasty cheese spaetzle. You get a super fresh salad and bread with a spicy dip. The waitresses are very nice.

Ordered schnitzel with asparagus for 29.90, schnitzel was okay, the asparagus was unreasonable, old or no idea, and several sticks of brown inside, I've never seen anything like that. I lost my appetite, the asparagus was replaced, but then disgusting asparagus returned. Then dessert and drinks were free. Would have preferred to have correct food and paid full price. I was really very annoyed.

The food was super tasty, except for the potatoes, which had thick skin. The asparagus and the small schnitzel were very tender and very tasty 😋 We were in Hanover over Easter and visited your restaurant for the first time. Despite reservations, we had to wait almost an hour until we got our food. We were 4 adults and 2 children and didn't eat much all day because we were looking forward to the evening in their restaurant and then we had to wait a relatively long time for our food. The children were also very hungry. The guests who came to the restaurant after us and sat at the table next to us had received their food before we ordered. 🤷‍♂️ Since we drove over 200 km to Hanover, we were really happy about visiting their restaurant and then something like that. Maybe things will be a little better the next time we visit your restaurant. Nevertheless, I will highly recommend your restaurant because small mistakes can happen to anyone. Relaxed little beer garden on Weiße-kreuz-platz run by Reimanns Eck. Highly recommended for a sun kebab.

Unfortunately there is no mustard celebration anymore and I really don't know why. After all, everyone likes delicious mustard (just based on childhood memories).

Breakfast supposedly lasts until 2 p.m. on Sundays. We were there at 12:30 and wanted to order a breakfast dish. Unfortunately that's what happened. The waitress just said reproachfully; “…well breakfast is almost over anyway…” Bad impression, bad service, probably also appropriate food….

If you are looking for a rustic, classy, ​​no-frills restaurant in the heart of Hanover, where you can enjoy delicious food without breaking the bank, then this is the perfect place for you.

Absolutely recommended and, in my opinion, Hanover's number one currywurst. Transparent information about suppliers, everything regional and sustainable/humane (e.g., meat from straw-fed pigs)...great! First-class service (friendly and fast) List is a nice location anyway, and Reimanns Eck is always worth a visit. The dog was welcome too, as it should be!

After a long day at work, I visited Reimanns Eck after it was recommended to me by my family - and I was not disappointed! The staff was friendly and attentive, so I immediately felt at home. I ordered a latte macchiato and a chocolate mousse, and both were really excellent. The coffee was aromatic and perfectly prepared, the chocolate mousse was creamy and tasted delicious. Overall a great experience - I'd love to come back!

If you like old German cuisine in a quiet, historic setting, this is the right place for you. The weekly lunch menu at affordable prices tempts you. The herring plate was delicious with a fish, even with a tail. Plus a freshly tapped Pilsner or non-alcoholic. The selection is plentiful. Also à la carte. Some of the fried potatoes were burnt. Even though it was mentioned, I would have liked a little schnapps as compensation. The wait staff was very friendly and quick. And currywurst fries are always good, and the gratinated Camenbert is also delicious. I'll be back, no question.

The restaurant offers tasty dishes from largely regional origins. The selection is also large. The staff are always friendly and helpful. So far I only knew the restaurant through its beer garden and, in the run-up to Christmas, through the "winter garden" decorated with numerous fir trees. The Reimanns Eck restaurant can be recommended without reservation.

First of all, I'm biased about this restaurant, Hanover, just a low bar. The reimanns eck is an institution and the small portion of sauerbraten is a piece of heaven on earth. Can also highly recommend fast breakfast on Saturday/Sunday

The food is delicious and the staff is usually polite. However, it seems that young people are not welcome there. When I visited the restaurant with my girlfriend, I was asked directly if we only wanted to use the toilet. The lady was extremely rude which ruined the entire experience. This was particularly disappointing because I have fond memories of the place from my childhood, when I often went there with my parents.

Was here for New Year's Eve breakfast. Nice event! A little too loud inside, so we mostly stayed outside. Good atmosphere, great beer at a slightly higher price. Recommended.

I have tried several items from the breakfast menu at Reimann's Eck. Everything from Bauern Frühstuck to Ofenfrisches Butter croissant, is an absolute delight. My personal favorite is their soft and creamy Rührei( scrambled eggs), which melts in the mouth and their waffles with Blueberry sauce. What makes the experience even more memorable is the outdoor dining. It's especially pleasant in summers and on sunny mornings during the Fall. Update: I really don't know if there was a revamp but some items don't taste the same as before and hence the 4-star rating.

Only recommended to a limited extent. Service really very inattentive and slow. Of the three available tables, we were assigned the one directly at the drafty, cold entrance, despite reservations. Then discussions about swapping places. You don't want to seat other guests at the drafty entrance - aha. Schnitzel was okay, but the fried potatoes were burnt. The salad now costs extra and the lemon on the schnitzel - as one of three components - was completely forgotten.

Reimanns Eck is a classic of Hanoverian gastronomy with a long tradition. From kale to fried fish to sour meat and roast beef with excellent fried potatoes, there is a very good selection. A lot of local and good goods are processed. Our service last night was attentive and friendly, even though it was busy on a Friday evening. We'd love to come back!

Super nice service. Had the "Tischlein deck dich" brunch for two people. Very tasty selection of dishes and completely sufficient quantities with the option to reorder. We were able to take leftovers with us. Can only be recommended.

It was OK. I would describe the appetizers and dessert as very good. Overall we had to wait (a lot) for our food. Service was very friendly. Toilets e.g. T. out of service and apparently not just since the day of the visit.

Difficult to find entrance in the dark. Strong smell of food inside. It took quite a long time for the waitress to come to our table - and then another long time for the drinks to be served. We had a reservation, but the service was quite inattentive. No tablecloths. Cutlery lay carelessly on the table that had not been completely wiped down. Food was OK.

We noticed the beautiful winter garden at Reimannseck at 9:35 p.m. and were thrilled that it said: "open until 10 p.m." at the front. Full of anticipation for a Hot Aperol, we line up to find out the last round is at 9:30 p.m. It's a shame that wasn't on the front! This can also scare away wealthy guests! I would have managed at least two drinks before 10 p.m. And we were a group of 8 people. Now we're leaving our money somewhere else. We won't be coming back!

At lunchtime at Reimanns Eck... we ordered a chicken salad and a steak with fried potatoes... both tasted great... we'd love to come back...

I was there with my friend at 9:30 p.m. and thought it looked really nice. We went in and a group in front of us was rudely sent away because the last bar was probably at 9:30 p.m. This was not noted anywhere, as the opening times were also shown until 10 p.m. Well, as I know it, you pay a deposit on the cups and are unlucky if you don't return them before you close. But customer satisfaction and service are probably not a priority here.

The goulash soup in the winter garden was delicious, but for €7.50 there was only a mini portion the size of a coffee mug. Everything has its price and I'm happy to pay for decent food/restaurants, but that wasn't right at all. Not even for a Christmas market.

Today the kitchen used a little too much pepper to season it. It could happen. Was Still a nice stay. The menu has something to offer for everyone. The outdoor area is also very nice. Wheelchair users can stop there without any problems, there is a ramp. The food, service and ambience were really great. But we were shocked at €8.50 for a simple wild cherry schnapps (2cl).

We took advantage of today's beautiful late summer day to “sit outside” again. You can also smoke there. The currywurst and the fresh fries are very tasty, and the homemade curry sauce is particularly worth mentioning. Really great. 👍🏼

Caramelized goat cheese cold. Schnitzel breading tasted like a lot of old fat. Completely soggy fried potatoes from warm storage, lowest canteen quality, an absolute no-go. The employees' reaction to the criticism was dismal. Tipping eliminated. It's all a shame, because the quality of the ingredients was essentially good to very good (although this can no longer be judged when it comes to the fried potatoes). Overall, it is clearly too expensive for what is offered and therefore not recommended.

My little lunch snack, potato soup with chanterelles, was very good. There was also a bread basket with a peppery dip - also very tasty! Service was good, but it was also very empty. The ambience is still a bit too cool for me, but it's better compared to 2 years ago. Reimanns is definitely on the agenda again!
