Plitvice in Hannover

We had cevapcici, the meat was far dry and unseasoned. An insult to this traditional dish, every cevapcici that is included in a ready meal tastes better. Djuvec rice absolute standard. Standard tomato sauce totally watery and zero taste. Salad Loveless.

We had a pleasant evening with very tasty food. A friendly service. The waiter was very personable. We would love to come back!

Rustic restaurant with nice service and very good food! From the outside the restaurant seems inconspicuous, but my family and I have been enjoying eating here in the evenings for months and have never been disappointed! Freshly tapped beer and large portions at fair prices. We often have to have some packed up, but with the delicious salad beforehand, sometimes it's too much! But there is also a schnapps for digestion! We are already looking forward to the next time!

This was our second time here. The first time a nice gentleman served us, totally friendly and very miserable. Today there was a different service and therefore the service was completely different. Unfortunately, different than hoped. Despite the fact that we ordered the same food as last time, it wasn't completely the same on the plate. Unfortunately, this time we didn't get any sauces with our meal, which we already had on our last visit. As soon as the food was on the table, no one else came. So we couldn't ask for sauces and, conversely, we weren't asked if everything was okay or anything like that. At the end we had to ask the waitress who were eating to let us pay. Unfortunately not as good as hoped this time :(

We have been coming as guests to the former Plitvice, now Morava, for over 25 years. Since the last change in catering, the food and service no longer have anything to do with the quality of previous years. During our, certainly last, visit, it should be positively emphasized that the order and reorder were received quite quickly. This may have been because we were sitting close to the counter and were able to distract the waitress by calling out to her cell phone. The guests at the back of the restaurant were not so lucky. About the food: Our salad (1 slice of tomato, 1 slice of cucumber, 1 spoonful of cabbage and 1 spoonful of bean salad) looked pretty bland on the plate, the bean salad lacked the typical taste... it was just bland. I ordered a robber plate. This was prepared just as “nicely” as the salad, fries and the usual assortment of meat; rice was completely missing. The cevapcici were the only thing that weren't fried to death. The pieces of meat and liver were very lightly seasoned, about 3-4mm thick and completely dry. Only the slice of bacon was halfway edible due to the fat. The price of the dish is completely excessive given the amount of meat served. The "hot sauce" served with it was probably ready-made barbecue sauce that had been sharpened. My wife ordered a Jägerschnitzel. The schnitzel (meat) itself was also very thin, but well breaded. Both the mushroom sauce on it and the side dish (fried potatoes) were convenience products, i.e. warmed-up ready-made meals from a plastic bag. As I was clearing the plates, I pointed out to the waitress that the meat was dry and really not good. Your comment: Yes, OK!! For us this was the last visit to Morava.

If 0 stars would go then 0. At Christmas time they are the only ones and the food is underground. Recommendation is not possible

We were there with the family, the food was inedible, cold and defrosted. Cevapcici and Morava Ustipci made from soy, no meat. When we said that, the owner was very rude. We will definitely never come again! It's a shame that there aren't 0 stars!

Delicious food at reasonable prices in a well-kept environment.

We had heard a lot of good things about the restaurant...but I have to wonder how it came about and in what time frame. First of all, the service was very friendly and attentive, but even that couldn't disguise the food and ambience. The wallpaper is coming off the wall, skirting boards come towards you, cobwebs and dust if you look closer. The food is very over-seasoned, you desperately look for a lettuce leaf or decoration on the plate, very carelessly prepared, tzatziki was very neutral in taste. Maybe we just caught the wrong day and something else is better. So we won't get lost there again, unfortunately.

The food was beyond good and bad, I was there at half past eight because the kitchen was open until nine and the cook didn't feel like it anymore, you could see and taste that. Terrible!!!! The condition was that a woman had strong hair and didn't understand me. It's a shame the restaurant was recommended to me by friends. It used to be much better.

Sheep cheese as a starter, 3 large pieces of brine, onions and peppers. The olive oil was delicious. Main course fried pork fillet as rasnici. 2 scoops of rice. Gravy, yes. The restaurant was full to the last seat. SO many were happy. Not us and never this restaurant again. Tables placed far too close together. And ultimately too expensive.

Bad if you can't handle criticism (see replies to bad reviews). I even had to delete my review. That's why I won't write it here again. I hope that awarding my stars statement is enough!?

Great service, super tasty. We often come here with friends or family and then order the platter for 4. The sauces that come with it are simply world class. I can only recommend it to everyone.

Absolute class! Huge plate of meat, beautifully cooked and lovely sauces. The salad first made a very good impression and tasted great. The food came very quickly and the service was super nice! The only thing I was missing was onions. Otherwise nothing to complain about and we'll definitely be back.

Super tasty food, the portions are more than enough. The liver is awesome. The service is great and always up for fun. We had a great evening there with our friends. We are always happy to make the journey from the other end of the Hanover region. It's just quaint there.

We were there for dinner with the new owners for the second time today and this time we were totally disappointed. The salad came after over an hour, the food after 1 1/2 hours. The shrimp were still raw, we returned them. The meat This time it was very tough and dry. The service was the best thing of the whole evening. Very nice. Unfortunately we won't be coming back.

The restaurant is still pretty quaint, not exactly big - so it's better to call ahead. Meat is of top quality, generally price/performance is top. We will definitely come back as the service was also very good.

Been coming for 30 years, but never again from now on. We were there with two families on New Year's Eve. For the children's meals we ordered extra mayonnaise and ketchup... 4€😳. The menu doesn't match what you have on your plate at all. Men left hungry. It's good that we took a closer look at the bill. Paid €10 too much. Not again

Kleines Lokal. Einrichtung Sehr, sehr alt. Sehr gefülltes Restaurant.

Die Gerichte sind nicht nur köstlich, sondern auch visuell ansprechend. Hier wird Essen zu einem Fest für die Sinne.

War ein Zufallstreffer. Kommen aus Celle und wollten Kroatisch/Jugoslawisch essen. Alle anderen waren zu. Gott sei Dank, weil das Essen der Knaller war. Dazu kommen noch wirklich moderate Preise. Das Ambiente ist sicherlich nicht modernstes Niveau, aber wir wollten gut essen und das wurde sogar übertroffen. Absolut zu empfehlen.

Sehr lecker gewesen. Wären nun schon zum 2. Mal hier und kommen gestimmt wieder. Hatten die Platte für 2 Personen genommen. Super lecker weil auch fast alles an den verschiedenen Fleischsorten drauf ist. Hat man ein schöne Auswahl Update vom 13.10.2023: Waren nach längerer Zeit endlich wieder hier. Immer noch super lecker. Die beiden Saucen dazu waren auch wieder Hammer, obwohl die Rote es schon in sich hatte. Die war recht scharf, aber wir mögen das auch so. Hatten wieder die Platte für 2 Personen genommen. Wir wussten gar nicht mehr, das da so viel drauf ist. Mussten uns einiges einpacken lassen. Hatten dieses Mal schon für 17.30 Uhr einen Tisch bestellt. Dadurch war es noch recht leer und das Essen kam sehr schnell. Würden wir immer wieder so machen, denn später wurde es richtig voll, einige Gäste ohne Reservierung mussten sogar weggeschickt werden, weil kein Platz mehr frei war. Und wenn dann alle gleichzeitig das Essen bestellen, ist es doch logisch, das es dann länger dauert. Wir finden den Laden auch irgendwie urig, genauso wie der Jugoslawe damals in Letter, dieses Ambiente gehört für uns einfach dazu.

Gerade da gewesen und muss sagen das Essen war Geschmacklich echt Ok aber man sollte nicht Hungrig hingehen. Also sowas ist echt unverschämt habe mir Raznitski oder wie es heisst für 13,50€ bestellt und habe 2 Löffel Reis und 2 Fleischspiesse die dünn wie ein 2Euro Stück geschnitten waren mein Essen war innerhalb 3Min Verzehrt. Schade da werde ich doch Lieber weiter den Jugoslawen in der Walsroderstrasse besuchen ist zwar etwas Teurer aber man wird Satt. So dann werden wir jetzt noch nen Döner Essen Fahren. Schade

Nettes kleines Restaurant. Bedienung war schnell da und hat die Bestellung aufgenommen. Getränke kamen schnell und das Essen in einer angemessenen Zeit. Auswahl sowie Preis/Leistung passen. Essen war gut. Die Beilage Pommes hätte etwas mehr sein können. Zu empfehlen ist der Knoblauch Dip. Auch wenn dieser vermutlich nicht selbst hergestellt wurde, ist dieser wirklich top. Komme gerne wieder.

Servicekraft sehr nett und lässt sich, auch von anstrengenden Kunden, nicht aus der Ruhe bringen. Leckere Dips kostenlos dabei. Essen lecker. Ambiente typisch mit Holz und Wandteppichen. Gemütlicher kleiner Gastraum...

Ein Restaurant was mal renoviert werden könnte. Die Portionen war sehr überschaubar. Für den Preis muss der Teller schon gut gefüllt sein. Wir gehen nicht mehr hin.Leider.

Wir kennen dieses Lokal & seinen langjährigen Vorbesitzer seit vielen Jahren und waren stets zufrieden. Die neue Chefin (leider noch nicht kennengelernt) lässt einfachen, aber perfekt abgeschmeckten Vorspeisensalat mit Krautsalat & Bohnen servieren. Sehr leckerer Grillteller: Perfekt gebratene Leberstücke, saftige Fleischstücke am Spiess, zartes Schweinesteak. Super delikate dunkle Sosse (nichts für Untrainierte!) als ultimativer Dip. // Pljeskavica (gefülltes Hacksteak) mit gehackten Zwiebeln, Pommes frites und Djuvec Reis ebenfalls prima. // Cordon bleu mit Schafskäse gut gefüllt & saftig. Kleine Anregung: Die Sosse sollte apart serviert werden, da sonst die Kruste aufweicht. Top freundlicher aufmerksamer Service. Weiter so & bis bald!

Wir waren spontan an einem Wochentag abends da und hatten freie Platzwahl. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Das Essen war insgesamt gut. Das Ambiente war für uns etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig. Die tiefe, dunkle Decke machte den ohnehin schon übersichtlichen Raum noch beengter.

Das alte Plitvice mit neuen rot-weiß-karierten Gardinen passt zu der urigen Holzausstattung. Ein kleines Restaurant mit normaler guten Balkanküche. Für "einfach mal essen gehen" oder "keine Lust zu kochen heute" ist diese Restaurant(chen) gut geeignet. Die Bedienung ist freundlich und nicht aufdringlich. Die Sanitäranlage ist nicht wirklich groß und Barrierefreiheit nicht wirklich gegeben. Zwei - oder auch drei - Stufen zum Eingang müssen überwunden werden. Der angebotene Absacker Julischka ist nicht wie gewohnt ein Geschenk des Hauses und taucht auf der Rechnung mit satten 3 € auf. Schade. Das nächste Mal dann ohne Verdauungsschnäppsken. 🤷

Good restaurant. Popular in the evening, but we did not make a table reservation. Came in the evening at 19:00. Wide selection of meat dishes. Good atmosphere, national music played. No parking. I'm not sure if I'll come again, but it's worth visiting the restaurant at least once.
