Gala GmbH in Waltrop

Apparently a cult chip shop. It was unusual and unusual. A loud owner, like a market crier, a meager menu, but hey, people seem to like it 😅. The food was OK...I've been there once, but that's enough.

Eating schnitzel at Höwer-Wenker was, as always, superb 👍🥰

I placed an order and it was cancelled after 30 minutes without explanation. Absolutely appalling.

There were four of us at the restaurant, and we were given a table inside, relatively close to the bar. The room was quite chilly, and we waited almost 30 minutes before a young server took our drink order. Unfortunately, despite the restaurant not being very busy, we had to wait over an hour to place our food order. The advertised bread buffet consisted of two dips and one type of bread, contrary to the selection listed on the menu. After a rather disappointing wait, our food finally arrived after about 35 minutes. The burgers were very large and generously topped. The food tasted okay, but both the fries and the burger were very greasy.

Great hut, the food was delicious. Always worth a visit.
