Moselbach Park Alm in Waltrop

Well...they're slowly getting up to speed...it used to be nice, but now...well, you're no longer served in a friendly manner, all the service staff are just annoyed...if you've reserved a table, you're almost thrown out in an unfriendly manner after 2 hours. ..I'm done with it... but you can see what happens when it comes to the money! And when you see how they leave the park behind when the wooden hut is built back and forth again and again. And the food is also totally overpriced..It tastes 10 times better in the Frittenranch...I don't know if I'll survive this outlandish Alm for long...there are other things in Waltrop...I can leave it...It's hospitable something else...but the main thing is that the cash register rings!👿

We discovered this very beautiful location in the middle of the park when we passed there on our bike tour. The well-attended terrace immediately appealed to us. Then we drank something and ate a little something. We immediately noticed the extremely courteous and friendly service, which guaranteed a relaxed atmosphere. The menu had a good selection of dishes for small appetites but also entire dishes for larger appetites. The children can play in the park with many playgrounds if they get bored at the table and the adults can take a little time out. We will definitely stop by here again on the next bike tour.

I was pleasantly surprised. I avoided the Alm for a long time. I was kidnapped there. Thanks for that. It was really nice there. Service was great, tarte flambée was delicious and the atmosphere was really nice. Expect full recommendation again.

Meeting point for young people to seniors. Very well received. This alpine pasture is located in the middle of the Moselbachpark. Good food and drink, friendly service. If the weather is very nice, you should reserve a table.

Excellent location to stay. Food and drinks at normal prices. Unfortunately, after a larger calculation, there was no schnapps on the house.

The quality has declined significantly in recent years. The food comes from the freezer bag, which is purely convenience goods. The terrace is already so broken at the beginning of June that I have to lift individual boards completely when I walk over them. On the way to the toilets there are holes under the carpet so you step into nothing. The service is like, well. All in all, a location that is getting really old and where a skilled craftsman would need to lend a bit of a hand.

Lots of nice things for children + interesting for parents.

Medieval market, very beautiful in the entire area

Super nice log cabin, with very friendly service. If you have any questions about e.g. Burgern's question is answered very friendly and professionally. The Alm burger was very tasty! The sweet potato fries were super crispy and salted just right. Only recommended!

Friendly staff, rustic atmosphere, delicious food and drinks at fair prices.

The party is over - The result of a season can now be admired in the park. Furrowed and compacted ground, a mud steppe. Garbage and rubbish are left lying around. All this for the long-faded enjoyment of a ready-made currywurst in summer. Restaurants are dying out in the walkable city center and stuff is carted into the park every year to run a superfluous restaurant. Nothing is sustainable at all. Rather, it shows the ruthlessness and ignorance towards nature.

Yummy! A highlight in Waltrop. Rips are recommended.

I imagine something different when I think of an alpine hut. The ambience is similar, but very carelessly designed and pretty unkempt on the outside. The menu with spare ribs, tarte flambée and Spanish tapas is more reminiscent of the Bermuda Triangle in Bochum than of an alpine pasture. No Gröstl, Kaiserschmarrn or Kasspatzln. No pork knuckles or dumplings. The prices are also quite high.

Who could have guessed that the little city of Waltrop would actually get a buzzing place like this? As much as it might confuse you to see a typical southern German style restaurant/beer garden/event location... it fits perfectly into the surroundings of the park. Straight forward menu even though I went for the Tapas... probably another way to feed your confusion about the style of the Park Alm. It's all over the place. The tapas were pretty good (had the potatoes, chicken strips and tomato meatballs), the beer refreshing, the Gin & Tonic pretty average. Friensly staff, reasonable prices and a place that's as fusion as it can get in terms of styles!

Eine Alpen-Holzhütte als Sommer-Saison-Gastro mit Aussenbereich direkt im Moselbachpark. Gute Auswahl an Speisen und Getränke ist vorhanden.

Tolles Ambiente im Park gelegen. Es hat den Touch von Kurzurlaub in den Bergen. Das Essen ist sehr schmackhaft und die Getränkeauswahl ist perfekt abgestimmt. Die Mitarbeiter sind äußerst freundlich und sehr motiviert. Die Terrasse ist rustikal, wie auf einer Almhütte und sehr sauber. Wir kommen wieder. Klare Empfehlung!!

Ein wunderschöner Park für eins der schönsten Mittelalterfeste.

Nett zum einkehren während einer Fahrradtour. Ein wenig teurer.

Wir haben auf der Terrasse auf rustikalen Bänken gesessen, was bei gutem Wetter besonders schön ist. Ein Freund hatte für 3 Personen angemeldet. Fahrradfahrer können die Räder seitlich des Weges abstellen. Im Park gibt es Spielmöglichkeiten für Kinder.

Immer wieder gut und die Atmosphäre stimmt. Preise sind im oberen Bereich.

Eine schöne Hütte mieten in Waltroper Park ein schönes schattiges Plätzchen an so einem warmen Tag wie heute heute war mittelalterfest ein sehr schöner Tag
