One star is actually too many. But the service was very friendly.

After almost 20 minutes of waiting, even after eye contact and a nod of approval from the waiter, no service! Three tables were occupied outside. Three or four waiters were working. Rude after pointing out. Then we went to another location. Absolutely not recommended!

The beer is really tasty and the service is impressive! I have rarely experienced such fast service. The smoked pork neck was excellent. The only drawback were the dumplings, which were a bit too dry, but since the sauce, meat and sauerkraut taste so good, it's still worth it!

We were hoping for a good schweinshaxe (pork knuckle), but the one we got was the most disappointing that we have tried in Germany. It was delivered fast and the skin was completely soft, like a gummy bear.

A bit disappointed. While having trouble reserving through the OpenTable app, I call the place and asked for a table. Nothing available for the same evening I was told. Shortly after the app decided to corporate and since it showed up with available tables the same evening I decided to book one regardless. We arrived on time for the reservation and sure enough, a table was there waiting for us. A very friendly and english speaking waiter took our order. We ordered a pork knuckle for sharing and it arrived pretty fast. Unfortunately it was the most disappointing knuckle I've had in Germany (and I've had a few around the country) None of the skin was crunchy and the fat not properly melted, making it feel like one big sad gummy bear. Flavor of the meat was ok though, but not the most juicy either. The potato dumplings also did lack a bit of flavor. Once done we asked for the bill and said that we would pay by card. The waiter then went on with other stuff. After a while waiting the same waiter came back asking if we would like some more beer/drinks. We kindly refused and again asked for the bill. Again he went on during other stuff and after a while he finally remembered and brought the machine to pay. Atmosphere is in top, it's a good looking place in a good location, but I wouldn't come back for food here, unfortunately.

We really liked the atmosphere in the outdoor area - the wooden picnic benches in particular invite you to relax. You sit really nicely and immediately feel comfortable. The menu offers a perfectly adequate selection and the prices are absolutely reasonable. We had different experiences with the service - it fluctuated between good and really excellent, depending on who was serving. Unfortunately, the curds were convincing in terms of taste, but were disappointing in terms of consistency. The outer edge was so hard it was difficult to cut through with cutlery, which makes us think they may have been pre-made and then reheated - a shame as the potential is definitely there. We would definitely come back for a drink and the lovely outdoor area, Probably somewhere else to eat.

Die Speisekarte versprach Klassiker wie Sächsischer Sauerbraten, Quarkkeulchen und Schweinshaxe. Was wir bekamen, war allerdings eher eine kulinarische Zeitreise in die Schulspeisung der 90er – mit Betonung auf “Speisung”, nicht “Genuss”. Der Sauerbraten schwamm in einer Soße die geschmacklich irgendwo zwischen Brühwürfel und Verzweiflung lag. Die Klöße dazu waren offenbar Tiefkühlware, außen matschig, innen hart – eine architektonische Meisterleistung des Grauens. Die Schweinshaxe, auf die man lt. Karte hätte 30 Minuten warten müssen, wurde nach 10 Minuten serviert. Sie war kein Fest – sondern Fast-Food im trockensten Sinne. .

That was nothing. The service was attentive and friendly, but not knowledgeable. The schnitzels were left without any fat, a few sparse fries were hidden underneath and the salad was drowned in bucket dressing. A heartless grab for the convenience kit. It seemed as if the kitchen had already called it a day at 8 p.m. on Saturday. The price cannot be justified, even taking into account the location directly on Neumarkt. It's a shame because the ambience is good and the reviews suggest something better.

Not only is it not tasty, but it also looks terrible. This food has no taste, the cooks did not try at all, the presentation of the dishes is like in a cheap canteen. The waiters are great, special thanks to them. The beer is delicious. My recommendations as a chef to completely change the execution of the kitchen.

We were here with a group and were able to reserve a table at short notice. That should have made us suspicious about Dresden's old town. Mediocre food and small portions, for a bar we were left stranded several times and were only able to order after we had to wait minutes for the staff. The crowning glory was that we were checked in three quarters of an hour before closing time and arriving guests were turned away. We were also denied a final lap. And that on a Friday evening. The opening times stated are therefore incorrect. Clear recommendation for the Augustiner at the Frauenkirche, better beer, food is also possible late in the evening and a full house with attentive waiters. The Augustiner saved us from a messed up evening in the Freiberg pub. We won't be coming back.

It's a very nice old restaurant, you were warmly welcomed and shown to the reserved table. The food came quickly and was rich and good.

We were a little disappointed! Ordered a table for two people, perfect until after the meal, we were asked to move around to rearrange another table for six people instead of four! We would have liked to continue enjoying the evening and have something to drink, but it was so uncomfortable... We sat in the aisle, the waiter barely passed us, or bumped into us every time, really annoying, annoying for us!! That’s it for now 🥲

The food was excellent and the service was also really great. We were there with the whole family and had a great evening. The knuckle with side dishes, the salad plate, spinach dumplings - everything was really delicious. The children's plates for the little ones are also recommended.

You can only say positive things. Food was fantastic. The restaurant was clean and spotless and the atmosphere was very welcoming. The waiters make you feel at home. It shows that they are not only professionals, but also that they feel comfortable in their job. Unfortunately I wasn't able to try the beer. I hope to come back another time

The premises are located right next to the market square, and as in all of Germany, advance reservation is definitely recommended. The menu includes traditional German dishes. I definitely recommend it.

The location of the restaurant is perfect next to the Frauenkirche. Reservations are recommended on weekends. Very friendly service even with a full house. Delicious beers from Freiberg, local soups were very tasty, we had sauerbraten and spiced meat, also very tasty. Price/performance is absolutely fine.

The food was good, but when the waiter doesn't take the 4 euro tip because it's not enough for him, I find that very cheeky.

Just went there for a few beers. It was full on a Friday evening, quite normal in this Xmas time and it's location near the Xmas market. The waiter showed up us the prefect spot, table 71, on the stairs (a Barrell with two high chairs). Quite ideal for just having drinks, view on the entrance and the busy bar. Very nice service, I can only recommend but better to book a table in advance. We didn't tried the food.

A typical German brasserie where you are served beer and local and “homemade” specialty dishes. I ordered an "Eisbein", I received a "Schweinshaxe". It didn't bother me, because I like both. Sauerkraut overcooked and therefore mushy. I asked to round the bill to €25; the waitress rounded it up to €27 (without me realizing it) - probably a problem of understanding between the two of us. In short, nothing exceptional, I will give other restaurants or brasseries the chance next time in Dresden.

The food is carelessly prepared, everything is swimming in sauce. Meat is very dry, so there are 2 liters of sauce on the plate. And Dan a price that is maximally inappropriate for this meal. Who knows what happened there, but I'm not there anymore.

We ate really well here several times, the staff was incredibly accommodating and friendly. A really good tip for the Dresden Frauenkirche - and for me it's not a classic tourist hotspot, but really authentic! We'd love to come back.

Great service, really nice. Unfortunately we were all disappointed with the food. The curds couldn't be cut (like rubber), the brawn was out of the packaging (not fresh from the butcher) and the seasoned meat wasn't like it used to be either. And that at the prices. Really a shame.

The food there is great, the Sojanka was as good as Mom's. The quark balls were also great. Definitely worth a visit. What I found to be a bit overpriced is the bratwurst with sauerkraut and mashed potatoes for €18.

A visit is absolutely worth it. I think that pretty much says it all. The beer is delicious (large selection). The dishes are good to very good (I would have liked more yeast dumplings with my goulash, two is very little). But the other dishes were really great (spinach dumplings, beef tartare). The spinach dumplings are absolutely recommended. The service is also unique, very friendly, always with a saying on your lips and just plain cool. Definitely coming back.

We ate there after visiting the Frauenkirche. A great atmosphere, something special and very cozy. You could also have eaten outside, but you could only order online. The employees are all very, very nice. To eat we had a small potato soup (very tasty) and once pullet pork with fries (also very tasty and the meat was very tender). All in all, a good meal at a fair price. We can only recommend!! P.S. Unfortunately I forgot to taste the bock beer brandy🥺

The waiters are friendly and you can drink two Kozeldark beers. Instead, you have to wait a long time to pay, but I think it's because of the overall foreign culture. It was delicious, friendly, and I even gave a tip. It's a credit card.

Beer good. Price ok. Roast roast was pretty mixed hidden under onions. Portion size could be a little larger. The online ordering process is ok. Payment options quite limited...google pay only works with certain cards.

Mi novia y yo cenamos en Freiberger Schankhaus. Esta reseña se divide en tres partes: -ubicación -servicio -alimentos Ubicación: La ubicación está en la plaza central de Dresde que ve la iglesia. Es muy acogedor y tiene un buen ambiente. Este es el caso de todos los restaurantes alrededor de la plaza. Servicio: El servicio es genial una vez sentado. Nuestro camarero era bueno en inglés dio buenas recomendaciones. El servicio fue en general amable y agradable. La comida: Estaba bien. No hay nada que escribir en casa. En mi opinión, los platos podrían haberse beneficiado mucho añadiendo verduras frescas como el pepino, ya que habría añadido un toque ligero y fresco a la comida bastante pesada. Los bohemios dumplings fueron decepcionantes. Resulta que era pan sin sabor. Pensé que era un tipo de albóndigas de patata. Creo que encaja perfectamente en ⭐⭐⭐ (3) estrellas, quizás 3. 5 estrellas ya que ofrece lo que esperas, pero nada más allá de eso. Como tal, el lugar era lo suficientemente decente, pero no lo suficientemente bueno para "muy bueno" que es de 4 estrellas.
