Franz & Willi - Burgerhaus in Weimar

My cheeseburger was ok, but the flavor of the burger only came from the cheese. Unfortunately my wife's chicken slider wasn't cooked through. The meat was way too pink. That doesn't work with chicken at all. The fries were OK for me, but too greasy for my wife. I complained about my wife's slider, but there was no response. It's a shame because I like eating burgers. And it's a shame that high-fat thigh meat is used here and not high-protein, low-fat breast meat. But oh yeah, I don't know anything about meat

It was so good that we even went out to eat a second time during our stay in Weimar. Both the beef burgers and the vegetarian ones with the green kernel patty are great! Ingredients are all fresh and of great quality. And the sweet potato fries were also very crispy and delicious. Absolutely recommended if you want to eat the best burgers. 😊 We didn't have to wait long, even though everything inside was full, and we were able to watch how lovingly the burgers were prepared. The homemade lemonade also tastes very good.

We had dinner here for the first time this evening. The waitress welcomes us in a friendly manner and accompanies us to the table. The atmosphere is also very cozy, with small tables, modern lamps and candles as table decorations. You initially think that nothing stands in the way of a pleasant visit to a restaurant. We both decided on the cheeseburger, one with and one without red onions. There was also a portion of sweet potato fries with dip and a few drinks. Unfortunately, one burger, especially the beef patty, which I really expected a lot from, was way too over-seasoned. I eat a lot of beef and I've never experienced anything like it in a restaurant. Unfortunately, there were also the far too salty sweet potato fries, which didn't make the whole thing any better. I pointed this out to the waitress, but didn't get any response from her either. I would have expected that from her at this point. My conclusion is that I can only recommend Franz and Willi's Burgerhaus to a limited extent. I would have preferred all products to be too bland rather than too spicy. The quality was otherwise good and the food was fresh. However, for the high prices, I expect the quality of the food to be perfect.

We discovered the restaurant because there were a lot of people sitting there and it sounded like good food. However, we were very disappointed. There is little to no sauce on the burgers, all kinds of fries are too salty, there is no drying option in the toilets... etc The price does not correspond to the performance, unfortunately I cannot recommend it

Eating was a dike cut. It smells very unpleasant of sweat. The floor was very slippery and you couldn't pay at the table. The card reading save was very sticky and disgusting. Plus the ketchup wasn't good at all

We ate two of the bowls and loved them! Super well thought out bowls that were very tasty. You find it very rarely. The service was also quick and very friendly. Absolutely recommended.

Really not recommended, the burger didn't taste like a burger, the meat was somehow stretched and only tasted like flour for 20 € with fries and a drink, really not worth it. It reminds me of a snack burger for 5 euros. The fries were quite good but I almost couldn't finish the burger. And the service wasn't friendly either when I first wanted to pay with card and then with cash. It's no longer too late.

Even 6 years later, the positive impression has not changed. Delicious homemade, especially vegetarian and vegan specialties (but there is also meat) with top quality regional ingredients, friendly staff, prices are absolutely okay and you'll be full.

The restaurant offers self-service outside, where we only enjoyed coffee and cold drinks. The location is very good and the overall ambience outside was pleasant and inviting. However, there was one problem: the floor was extremely uneven, which caused the drinks on the table to constantly slide back and forth. The chairs were also very crooked, which significantly affected the seating comfort. The service was okay, due to the self-service, but it would have been nicer if the outdoor area was not only visually beautiful but also functional. Still a nice place to stay for a short time. Price-performance ratio is best for beer.

Food not good, overpriced and you have to wait a long time to eat! Portions are ridiculously small. Run by Indians or Pakistanis who aren't particularly friendly and don't understand everything. Wonder how the name came about? Label fraud.

The burgers from the table neighbors looked good. I sat outside first. Nothing has happened. Then realized that you had to order in the restaurant across the street and take your drink with you. But it's nowhere. My salad with asparagus and "wild herbs" (that's what the waitress said when I asked what the greens were...I know: it was ONLY a type of rocket, nothing wild) was ok, but a bit little and unloving for the money .

The store used to be really good. I'm really disappointed with what happened: we clearly said "no mustard" and of course there was mustard on it... The chicken teriyaki burger was completely soaked in fat so that it hardly tasted anymore because the bun had practically become a fat sponge and there was hardly any to very little teriyaki sauce and I don't know if they stopped making their own fries out of efficiency but they tasted good too Not really anymore... I hope they change something because it's a real shame about a good restaurant

The veggie burger contained neither fried mushrooms nor caramelized onions. Not to mention guaca mayo. If it's offered like that on the menu, that's how it should be!

The food is delicious. The price, however, is not particularly cheap. You get over the €20 limit very quickly. Is it worth going for the price? Very expensive for pupils and students. You can find better alternatives there. But otherwise the Burgerhaus has a nice interior and the staff is friendly. There are no complaints when eating.

It's a shame, about 5 years ago we enjoyed eating here regularly. The quality has obviously taken a significant step downwards since then. Points of criticism: 1. My question about allergens was answered so strangely that I was still in doubt afterwards. I don't know if it was due to insufficient language skills or lack of training on the subject. 2. I had the camembert cranberry burger. The burger bun has shrunk miraculously since our last visit, and it was strangely soft and no longer deliciously crispy. The cranberry pepper mayo seemed to have been mixed poorly, I definitely had sour and spicy hotspots while eating it. 3. Cleanliness: The tables weren't really clean. A father at the next table even wiped his own table before letting his child eat on it. The icing on the cake was the dirty toilet, and no, that wasn't just from the previous woman.

Not really recommended: The Google menu no longer exists (there are no large salads, or only the one seasonal one). Even though the shop was empty, we were directed to two small tables along the aisle; all other tables were reserved (but strangely remained empty the whole time). You can only order at the counter. In terms of taste: The halloumi fries had a strange consistency, the red pepper relish tasted very intense, as did the dressing of the rather carelessly mixed house salad. There is still room for improvement when it comes to friendliness.

We had 2 beef and one chicken burgers. The chicken burger was very good. Unfortunately, the beef burger patties were already the sole of a shoe. This shouldn't happen in a burger joint. Especially not at the prices. In terms of taste, the beef burgers were rather so-so. Nothing special. The ambience on site is beautifully designed with great attention to detail. The clerk at the checkout was quite unmotivated. Friendly, but he was quite annoyed. All in all it was a try. But given the prices we wouldn't come back.

The best burgers in town are here! The burgers are freshly prepared, special requests are taken into account and there are also many vegetarian and vegan options. The burger house started in 2015 with Franz & Willi, 2 slow food enthusiasts, and unfortunately went to new owners after Corona, only the name remained, but it no longer has anything to do with the idea of ​​the two founders. The new owner is the managing director Navneet, who comes from India. You can tell from the menu, which isn't a bad thing in itself, and the staff has also become more international, but there's nothing to be said about that. The restaurant is now more reminiscent of a fast food restaurant. The friendliness of the staff depends on the day, as does the quality of the food, and the ambience has deteriorated significantly. All in all, no longer a culinary highlight in Weimar for us. Perhaps in addition to a renovation, a more suitable name would be necessary, as the name Franz & Willi suggests something different.

The burgers didn't taste good at all...bland and oily...garlic parsley mayo actually didn't taste like anything and was just greasy. I think the owners have definitely changed here, it used to be different and better!!!

Ich denke der Besitzer hat gewechselt…die Knoblauch-Majo hat nicht nach Knoblauch geschmeckt und war ekelhaft fettig. Der Burger war einfach öde.

Sehr tolles Burger-Restaurant. Das Essen ist extrem lecker und das Personal war äußerst freundlich. Die schöne Sitzgelegenheit hat den Besuch dazu noch perfekt abgerundet.

Wir waren jedes Jahr im Dezember da. Leider war heute die Person, die unsere Bestellung aufnahm nicht wirklich freundlich, eher genervt. Und unsere sehr leckeren Burger mussten wir in Jacken essen, da es einfach zu kalt in den Räumlichkeiten war.

Für die Preisklasse hat uns tatsächlich etwas Flair gefehlt. Keine Freundlichkeit, keine Reaktion. Kein Erlebnis Essen zu gehen. Die Soße konnten wir auf dem Burger nicht schmecken. Da gibt es andere Burger Restaurants, die da wesentlich mehr Flair bieten zu einer sehr guten Qualität.

Das war mein bisheriger Spitzenreiter was Burger betrifft. Total lecker. Tolle Dipps zum Burger. Die Portion war groß. Preis- Leistungsverhältnis stimmt hier. Sehr nettes Personal. Freundliche Bedienung. Das Lokal ist klein aber fein. Jederzeit wieder.

Super lecker zu annehmbaren Preisen

Hallo ich War heute mit meiner Freundin dort es war nicht schön das Fleisch sehr trocken und fest war alt und trocken Salat alt.Sehr lange Wartezeit obwohl Das Lokal lehr war. Unmotiviert Mitarbeiter, Sehr tollpatschig Umgang mit Gewürzen nicht sehr zimperlich Zuviel Salz und auf dem Burger ganze Pfeffer Körner. Es macht kein Spaß da zu essen und ich esse sehr gerne und das mit Leidenschaft. Eine Unverschämtheit das man ein brennenden Mund hat nach dem Essen auf grund von Salz Personal findet es wichtiger zu kehren anstatt sich um die Kunden zu kümmern. Dunstabzugshaube wird während des des Betriebs auf die Grill Fläche gelegt und sauber gemacht. Man muss sagen die Pommes waren ok. Ich beschwere mich nicht gerne aber das geht nicht bin sehr enttäuscht was ich erleben musste es könnte so gut sein.

Der Käse auf dem Cheeseburger war nicht vegan. Trotz mehrfacher Nachfrage. Die Antwort war: das ist normaler Käse, der wie veganer Käse schmeckt. Beim veganen Essen gehts nicht (primär) um den Geschmack, sondern darum, keine Tierprodukte zu essen. Da ist noch Luft nach oben.

Sehr nettes und hilfsbereites Personal, sehr leckere Burger, sensationell knusprige und würzige Pommes. Da habe ich absolutes Verständnis dafür, dass es etwas teurer ist. Wenn aber hinterher auf der Rechnung ein größerer Betrag steht als der, den man mit der gleichen Gruppe zwei Tage vorher in einem „normalen“ (syrischen) Restaurant (in Gera) für Vorspeise, Hauptgang und Getränke bezahlt hat, kommt man schon ein bisschen ins Grübeln. Zieht von jedem Gericht einen Euro ab, und es wäre perfekt.

Gäste sind nicht willkommen. Die Burger und die Bowles sind mittelmäßig. Das Burgerfleisch war zwei Mal gestorben. Ich kann die guten Bewertungen nicht nachvollziehen.

Als Geheimtipp getestet, wurden wir mit gut schmeckenden Burgern und hausgemachten Pommes belohnt. Preislich eher im mittleren Preissegment ist leider ein Service fast nicht vorhanden. Die Bestellung erfolgt nicht am Tisch, sondern eigenständig am Tresen. Das Essen wird dir zwar gebracht, allerdings ist das Abräumen wieder dir selbst überlassen. Wen dieser "Mc Donalds" Service nicht stört, der kann sich auf gut schmeckende Burger, Bowls und allerlei Salate freuen.

Hier gibt es nicht "nur" Burger sondern auch mega leckere Bowls. Die Dipps sind auch echt lecker! Sehr zu empfehlen

Die Bürger sind mit Abstand die besten in der ganzen Stadt. Außerdem ist Service- Chef "Save" eine echte Offenbarung. ein Gastronom, wie er im Buche steht.

Sehr gutes Burgerhaus, mit verschiedenen Variationen. Das Personal ist so nett, wir waren zu 13. hier und konnten alles so verschieben, wie wir es wollten. Am Abend gibt es für Schüler und Studenten 10% Rabatt. Und die Burger selbst sind auch absolut empfehlenswert und preislich sehr gut👍👍

Franz & Willi macht immer unglaublich gute Bürger, nicht zu schweigen von den sehr schmackhaften Pommes. Jedes einzelne Mal, als ich da war, fand ich es immer aufs neue so gut, dass ich es stets weiterempfehlen muss.

This is my go to restaurant every weekend. The staff and atmosphere are amazing but the burgers and crispy potatoes are to die for. The burgers there are the best I've ever had. The sauces and fries are also top notch. A once in a life time experience when I bite into my burger, truly life changing.

Die warme und einladende Atmosphäre des Restaurants schafft eine perfekte Umgebung für genussvolles Essen. Das Personal war äußerst aufmerksam und freundlich, stets bereit, Empfehlungen zu geben und sicherzustellen, dass jeder Gast sich wohl fühlt. Die Speisekarte war eine Freude für Feinschmecker, mit einer breiten Palette von Gerichten, die von traditionellen Klassikern bis hin zu innovativen Kreationen reichten. Jeder Bissen war ein Geschmackserlebnis, sorgfältig zubereitet und wunderschön präsentiert. Die Auswahl an Weinen und Getränken passte perfekt zu den Speisen und rundete das Gesamterlebnis ab.

Mein Besuch im Franz & Willi - Burgerhaus war absolut beeindruckend! Vom herzlichen Service über die gemütliche Atmosphäre bis hin zu den köstlichen Burgern war alles perfekt. Die Burger waren frisch zubereitet und perfekt gegrillt, begleitet von einer vielfältigen Auswahl an Belägen und Saucen. Die Beilagen wie knusprige Pommes frites und hausgemachte Limonaden rundeten die Mahlzeit ab. Eindeutig eine hervorragende Adresse für Burger-Liebhaber mit einem Verlangen nach Qualität und exzellentem Geschmack.

Super leckeres Essen, wir hatten einen Veggiburger und einen Bowl und soo leckere Süßkartoffelpommes. Unbedingt zu empfehlen!!!! Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Sehr lecker, ich hatte den Halloumi-Burger und mein Freund den Veggie-Cheeseburger, dazu Pommes mit hausgemachter Mayo und Ketchup, und die hausgemachte Zitronen-Minze-Limo. Alles war lecker und die Bedienung war nett, wir können es empfehlen :)

Reservierung hat nicht geklappt. Laden riecht echt nach Fett. Burger sind lecker, aber Team könnte echt netter sein. Ach ja und mal die Tische abwischen!

Da brat mir doch einer nen Storch! Bin seit 20 Jahren Vegetarier, hab in Amsterdam diverse Burgerbuden besucht, mache natürlich auch schon lange eigene Brutzelversuche. Und dann das: Bester veganer Burger, den ich gegessen habe. Franz und Willi Weimar. Die Brötchen, die Sößchen und der Patty! Ich werd bekloppt, wie lecker das schmeckt! Wenn das Gute liegt so nah. (Als Weimarer ist es halt nah.)

Wir haben einen Cheeseburger, Kinderburger Chicken und einen Goat-Cheeseburger. Wir sind Berliner Burger gewohnt und auch dementsprechend wissen wir was ein guter Burger kosten kann. Das jedoch ist frech. Der Preis ist der Qualität nicht angemessen. Kinderburger: Normaler Burger wie für jeden erwachsenen. Hier ist nicht weniger drauf oder ähnliches. Das Fleisch war trocken und knüppelhart. Unser Kind hat dann alles Drumherum gegessen da es so für Kinder nicht essbar ist. Cheeseburger/Goat-Cheeseburger: Hat völlig übertrieben nach rohen zwiebeln geschmeckt. Kann sein das der rest noch raus musste. Der Patty war zäh und hatte mit einem saftigen burger nicht zutun. Alles in allem sind die Hälfte der Burger( ja wir haben uns wenigstens die hälfte hinein gezwungen) im Müll gelandet. Da ich trinkgeld gegeben hatte sind damit einfach 36€ teilweise verbrannt. Das der Laden noch läuft kann ich mir nicht erklären. Scheint keine Alternative zu geben. Ich hoffe das war einfach ein Ausrutscher und der Laden ist vielleicht doch ganz gut. Ich werde jedenfalls nicht nochmals dahin gehen.

Sehr leckere Burger und Salate. Wir bestellen hier regelmäßig und können daher auch über einen längeren Zeitraum sagen, dass die Qualität auch längerfristig stimmt.

Wir sind bei unserem Städtetrip auf das Burgerrestaurant gestoßen. Die Bestellung am Tresen war einfach, sympathisch angenommen und für den Ansturm auch schnell gemacht. Die Burger werden direkt am Tresen frisch zubereitet und schmecken hervorragend! Gerne wieder!

Sehr freundliches Personal hilft beim individuellen Zusammenstellen der Burger. Hatte einen superleckeren Ziegenkäse-Burger mit Farmerfritten. Gute Portion mit krossen Fritten, und das auch noch draußen unterm Sonnenschirm! Perfekt 👍
