Even without a reservation, the two of us were assigned a nice place. The restaurant is beautifully decorated and lovingly furnished. The non-alcoholic cocktails were very good and decorated with great attention to detail. The food didn't take long to arrive, it was still hot and very tasty. A vegetarian selection is available, although sparse. We were always well fed. The toilets are clean and tidy.

Great staff, great food and cozy atmosphere. When we are in Weimar again, El Burrito is definitely a must. Thank you for the lovely evening 🙏☺️

The drinks only came with the food. The price-performance ratio is not optimal. One meal was overly seasoned, one was rather bland.

We really liked it at El Burrito! The food was very tasty, the service team offered very good service, was very friendly, very pleasant and very personable. The ambience inside and outside had a lot of nice details, and we had a great time sitting and eating on the terrace. You can tell that the restaurant offers a very well thought-out, fresh and detailed concept with very good food. Everything was perfect for us and we would love to come back when we are back in Weimar.

We happened to see the restaurant during our Weimar weekend and were immediately attracted by the inviting decoration with fairy lights. It was a really nice evening! We were a group consisting of 7 people. We ordered “burritos” and a portion of tacos. The service was very nice and quickly packed our order for us due to time constraints. The food, however, was not convincing. The prices are way too high for what you get and the food is not authentic. Our "burritos" didn't even look like any and it was inedible. The smell put us off at first because it was comparable to dog food. It tasted accordingly. The "burritos" didn't stop and the food came to us in the package after just 2 minutes of transport, which we did on foot. Any instant microwave burrito would have been more edible. We thought it was so bad that we couldn't even eat it. We really can't recommend this place. At least not if you want to eat something good. If you can't stand negative reviews, you shouldn't run a restaurant. Aside from the actual food, the prices were also cheeky. 18€ for a “burrito”? Felt a bit like a tourist trap. If you offer the opportunity to take the food with you, you should also make sure that the packaging is tight. I've never felt the need to leave a negative review but this time I had to. We certainly don't want to enter your restaurant again, you certainly don't have to worry about that. If our words were lies, we would not have written them. Until further notice, only the best! Last week at Easter we were guests of a Mexican in Dresden and I remembered how we were guests here in Weimar in October 2021. Why? Because we were really disappointed with the selection, taste and portion sizes in Dresden, but I can still remember the delicious Puntas Mexicana here, which had a noticeable but pleasant spiciness and all the delicious things around it on the plate and that it was really tasty. My wife was also very happy with her chicken breast fillets in a fruity orange sauce with potato wedges, as was my junior with the chicken wedges and sweet potato fries. The entire ambience here was authentic and great. But enough chatting and praising, we were just completely satisfied here and that's why we're happy to give it full marks. We had a very nice evening with very good food, delicious dessert and all served by very funny and friendly service. The colorful furnishings really invite you to linger and relax.

Extraordinarily good is how the store can be described. The atmosphere is nice, colorful and happy, it was just a pleasure to sit here. The food is plentiful and the taste is absolutely amazing... I would recommend reserving a table as this shop is really popular and therefore busy. What I liked best was the mood of the waitresses... the store was really buzzing, and yet there was no trace of annoyance, stress or even a bad mood... People are really celebrating with their guests. Our 2 hours went by so quickly that we could hardly believe it. So we'd love to come back to you again and again and again... Great praise from others TOTALLY RECOMMEND...!!!

Bei einem Kurzbesuch in Weimar hier gelandet. Nicht den schönsten Tisch erhalten. Netter Service, die Drinks schmackhaft. Die Speisen überraschend frisch und schmackhaft. Auf jeden FGall viel besser als erwartet. Hier kann man einen entspannten Abend mit guten bis sehr gutem Essen verbringen.

We just went to Weimar over Easter to experience some great days. After a “classic dinner” we didn’t want to go back to the hotel and passed the Buritto. It looked very inviting and what we were able to experience was absolutely TOP. Nice, friendly, friendly and open-minded staff not only welcomed us, but also spent the rest of the evening. 👍🏻🤩 We liked it so much that we spent the next evening at Buritto again. Great boss, great guys - just great. Thank you and keep it up.👍🏻

Unfortunately there isn't even a real Mexican dish on the menu. Not even real Tex-Mex cuisine. Those who praise the restaurant as “Mexican” have apparently never eaten Mexican. Hello Mr. Richter, my last name and roots didn't stop me from getting to know Mexican cuisine well. Something you never seemed to care about.

We were there for the first time. Totally recommended, great food, great staff. You can see they have fun with what they do. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was great. There were even theses glasses. Everything was relaxed despite the restaurant being full. Thank you for the short break from “normal”.

I ordered 2 burritos to pick up. Unfortunately one was not vegan as ordered but vegetarian. But it was prepared very quickly. We were in a bit of a hurry and the staff responded well. Unfortunately, we were a bit disillusioned with the taste of the food, especially given the high price. We didn't get real burritos as we know them either, but rather triangular-folded dumplings with contents.

We reserved a table for two (couple) at the weekend. We found a beautifully decorated table with roses and hearts ❤❤❤. From the recommendation of the dishes to the explanation of the different types of tequila, everything was perfect. Thanks to the entire service team and the chef.

There was no indication when reserving a table or in the menu that paella was only available if ordered in advance. That was very, very unfortunate.

We've eaten here a few times now and we've enjoyed it every time. The service staff are friendly and the atmosphere is also good. It was a pleasure.

The ambience is lively and a bit loud, but suits the restaurant. We had the tapas platter and buritos, followed by a cocktail. Everything was super tasty, we were thrilled. The service was also attentive and friendly. The prices are fair. Clear recommendation.

A little more expensive but the quality of the food is excellent. The waiting times are also short. I'll definitely be there more often now, it's worth the trip.

Wenn man in Weimar ist, sollte man dort einkehren, denn das El Burrito ist wirklich ein kleiner Geheimtipp. 🤗 Alleine das Ambiente, wenn man einkehrt. Man fühlt sich Willkommen und sofort wohl. Das Personal ist immer freundlich und zuvorkommend, auch wenn es stressig ist. ☺️ Das Essen wird frisch zubereitet und es ist sehr lecker. 🌮🌯 Wie sagt man so schön, das Auge isst mit und es wird immer sehr toll angerichtet. Wir sind dort schon seit vielen Jahren immer mal wieder Gast und haben nur tolles erlebt. Auch als wir sehr kurzfristig reserviert hatten, bekamen wir einen Tisch. Macht weiter so und auf viele weitere Jahre mit tollen Gästen, leckeren Essen und Getränken. 🌮🌯🍹🤗

Wir sind wirklich begeistert! Wir hatten uns ein paar Tage vorher einen Tisch online reserviert- das hat alles ohne Probleme geklappt. Vom Ambiente waren wir sofort angetan. Das Personal ist total freundlich und entspannt. Für unsere Tochter gab es direkt etwas zum ausmalen. Bei der großen Auswahl an Speisen, fiel es uns gar nicht so leicht eine Entscheidung zu treffen. Die Rippchen und die vegetarischen Burrito's können wir aber definitiv empfehlen. Wir kommen auf alle Fälle nochmal - unser Interesse, noch mehr bei euch auszuprobieren, ist geweckt 😃

Sehr freundliche Bedienung, für unsere Tochter wurde ein Hochstuhl und was zum Malen gebracht, Essen kam schnell, es war sehr lecker 😋 und reichlich. Gerne wieder.

Ein sehr gutes Restaurant. Das Essen schmeckt einfach perfekt. Ich kenne einige andere Mexikaner, u.a. den in der Nähe befindlichen in Erfurt. Dort schmeckt es auch super gut. Allerdings setzt das El Burrito den Punkt aufs „i“. Service ist auch sehr freundlich und kann einem zu jedem Essen etwas erzählen und empfehlen. Wer also mexikanisch essen gehen möchte, sollte hier her kommen!

Absolute Überraschung. Geheimtipp. Mega Ambiente, super Essen für Veganer, aber auch Fleisch. Super Cocktails und andere Getränke. Immer wieder gerne.

Das Servicepersonal war sehr freundlich, daher auch drei Punkte. Wir saßen draußen, unter lila Leuchten. Es war zwar ein schönes Licht, hat aber die Farben des Essen völlig und aus meiner Sicht unangenehm verändert. Geschmacklich war es zufriedenstellend, mehr aber auch nicht. Was aber schlicht unverschämt ist (auch bei zugegebenermaßen teuren Lebensmittelpreisen) sind über 17€ (!) für drei kleine vegetarische Burritos mit etwas Käse überbacken ohne weitere Beilagen. Wir werden wohl eher nicht mehr kommen.

Vorsicht! Falsche Preisangaben! Erst beim Bezahlen erfährt man, dass die Preisangaben der Speisekarte (ohne vorherige Info) um 10% (“Inflationsaufschlag”!!) erhöht werden! Man zahlt also nicht 15€ wie auf der Karte angegeben, sondern 16,50€!!! Ich denke, das ist ein Fall für die Gewerbeaufsicht - oder? Ach so - Finger weg von der Tapas-Platte! Personal ist aber nett. Überlegt euch gut ob ihr das mit dem heimlichen 10% Aufschlag mitspielt. Ich empfehle: woanders hingen!
