Food Court in Hamburg

We ordered Indian food. A mixed starter plate for two people and several chicken dishes. The portions were tiny, especially the mixed starter plate, which consisted of 6-7 pakoras for two people!!! We had to reorder rice twice because otherwise it wouldn't have been enough. Then came the unpleasant surprise when we paid. We were charged €26 for this tiny starter plate. Apparently, we had to pay for two people. The portion was already small for one person as a starter. We felt completely ripped off. The waiter just said we should be happy, he had been generous enough to waive the extra rice we ordered, which would normally cost an extra €8 per bowl. We've never had anything like that happen before. €8 extra for reordering rice at an Indian restaurant? The atmosphere was otherwise mediocre. The room is always somehow opaque due to large makeshift curtains, and behind our backs, large trolleys for dirty dishes were repeatedly being used. The menus were greasy and damaged. We won't be coming back.

We were given three menus: one for Indian, one for pizza, and one for sushi. We weren't informed about the lunch specials; had we not explicitly asked, we would have paid significantly more for the same meal. The Indian food was okay, but cold. The pizzas took a long time to arrive. Suddenly, they smelled quite burnt... Then the pizzas had to be remade. At least they did get a mango lassi on the house. What was irritating was the question about which sauce to put on the pizza. Overall, a weird place with less than excellent food.

After-work beer: Error message and okay...but a salami pizza for €14, which only gives you dough and six slices of salami, is garbage. It didn't taste good either. Sorry, not here again...

The service was attentive but still unsatisfactory. Definitely not for children. The food was fresh and of decent quality. A selection of sushi, Indian, and Italian dishes was available.

Disappointing experience - The menus were worn and looked like they hadn't been updated in years. The drink selection was extremely limited, with many items missing. The restrooms were clogged. The food arrived lukewarm, and one of the dishes was even 15 minutes late. Despite the "family-friendly" label on the website, there was no children's menu. Upon request, the food was adjusted for the child, but it still came spicy. In the end, we had to get fast-food fries from somewhere else. Positive: The staff was friendly, but there was little they could do. Fried salmon sticks suddenly appeared among the sushi dishes, which we hadn't ordered. Only after discussion did they acknowledge the error and change the order.

The food was delicious, with something for everyone. However, they forgot to bring a dish that the four of us had ordered to share. After we'd long since finished the other dishes, we canceled it. We were there for dinner; in the evenings, the bar area appears to be covered with black curtains, which doesn't look very inviting or appealing.

The menus were completely filthy. When we ordered, we were served sushi that we hadn't ordered. A child was with us and didn't get his food until we were all finished. Unfortunately, it was inedible because it was too spicy. In other words, it was a disaster. The only thing was that the food was good and sufficient.

The chicken mango was delicious, the amount of sauce in relation to the rice was a bit too much, but the portion of chicken was large. The quality of the food was good, but the staff's behavior was very poor—with the exception of the lady working there. A young man asked me very rudely and pushily if I didn't want to leave a tip. I then told him NOOOOO. Overall: good food, pleasant atmosphere, but the staff needs to be more diligent.

Well, it wasn't exactly the best. The food was good, but unfortunately, the wine on the menu wasn't available. Everyone was very nice, but good intentions don't always translate to good execution. A lot could be achieved with little effort.

We had Indian food, our favorite dishes, which we've eaten in many cities. But yesterday's was by far the worst meal we've ever ordered. And what version of the curry it was, I have no idea. No vegetables in it, just meat with a sauce that tasted so awful that we left it alone. The naan bread was also a weird version made of pressed cardboard and garlic. Absolutely not recommended!

Warning: The owner is apparently trying to delete bad reviews instead of accepting feedback. After three brazen attempts, the review was downgraded from 3 to 2 stars due to dishonesty. Service was friendly, but the ambiance and food were unfortunately very bland. The price-performance ratio isn't right. A cup of tea for €5.50: OK, but I'm looking forward to something worthwhile – I received the cheapest tea bag from the discount store, with no lemon or sugar offered. A shame.

The ability to try out 3 different cuisines at the same time and combine everything together is the epitome of Fusion kitchen!! No matter what, everything was of excellent quality, tasted 100% delicious and the staff was super friendly!!

The curry is "okay", but the rest of it is not in my opinion. I had to repeat my order 3 times within 1 minute, communication is difficult, then I received a lukewarm, mediocre curry and not the naan. This came 15 minutes later (after repeated requests) when the food was completely cold. It wasn't real naan either and for whatever reason it was cold (only lukewarm in the middle), even though it should have been warm since none was obviously ready when I got the curry. You take the food to the tables yourself and don't give any real service, but the main thing is that a tip is asked when you pay... In general, it's suspicious when a shop offers sushi, pasta and curry at the same time, but you still hope... The seating options are also okay, there was a cheap armchair between two benches that several people found so uncomfortable that we left the seat empty in the group and thus split our group. And for the amount of food I think the prices for “lunch” are a bit high. The only positive thing for me after 3 visits (with work colleagues) was that each time we found space for lunch, even with larger groups, without having to wait long. The possibility of paying by card is also a plus point for me, as unfortunately it is still not a given everywhere.

As already mentioned locally. The food is really good. Unfortunately, the cleanliness really doesn't leave a good impression. It's a shame actually.

I highly recommend the chicken tikka. It's not the cheapest, but you get a generous portion.

There were four of us in the restaurant, and the waitresses apparently mistook us for tourists. We weren't given a drink menu, which is actually a negative sign. Furthermore, despite my request, we only received one bowl of rice, even though we had ordered two main courses. Compared to the other guests, we clearly received one bowl of rice less.

I ordered a takeaway pizza with salami and jalapenos. The pizza was as thin as paper and had very few toppings. It was also very small in the box, and it looked like 3-4 slices were missing. Unfortunately, it won't be any good.

Had a spontaneous meal here today with two people. The sushi was very good and tasted good. We also got full. The service, well, the table wasn't clean, the waiter felt like he had no idea about the service, unfortunately there was no beer or alcoholic drinks, and the selection of drinks was also rather poor.

The selection is great, three different restaurants in one. The food was delicious and the decor was very appealing.

From the outside it's a pretty inconspicuous, sweet shop, but on the inside it's very cozy and has a wonderful atmosphere. The service was very friendly and accommodating right from the start and the food is a dream, whether it's Indian or sushi, it's really very, very tasty... definitely recommended!!

The pizza was delicious and ready quickly. We would have had to wait 45 minutes for Indian food. Friendly. Cleanliness at the tables would have been nice.

Dreadful. Dreadful. Dreadful. My wife and children would not let me complain at the time which would have been far better. Smashed poppadoms, dried something or other as a starter. Main courses, completely tasteless and in parts physically inedible. A total joke as Indian food. We refused dessert as we simply could not face it. My only regret is listening my wife and not letting them know face to face. Totally dissapointed and disgusted.

The food court has a wide variety of food such as pizza, sushi and Indian dishes. I chose Indian and it was really delicious. All dishes are also available to take away, so you can enjoy them comfortably at home.

Store almost empty, waited 20 minutes, not served.

First the positive: The sushi is super tasty and actually recommended. The next day we tried Indian, but unfortunately it was an absolute failure. The naan bread had the consistency of cardboard and tasted accordingly. Our two main courses for €18-20 per dish were partly lukewarm and we were surprised that frozen vegetables were used at this price. We also passed on the feedback directly to the service staff, but in broken German they only referred to the chef.

Waited 1.5 hours for food. But at least the food was tasty.

In the food court you can choose between sushi, Indian food and pizza/pasta. We had pizza and a curry. Both were delicious. The service was extremely friendly. I recommend the food court.

Artificially keeps a higher rating because they report bad reviews for defamation. Me & my friend became sick from their pizza, lack of hygiene in the kitchen. They use napkins as table cloths, which speaks alot for the food. Overpriced & stingy with toppings.

We ate pizza, which was crispy and delicious! The price is also ok. I can only recommend it! 😉🍕

Fruchtbar I was there with a friend, the food was cold, had no taste, the chairs and tables were all dirty...we ordered a drink, more precisely Mango lassi, and the lady who served took us out a cup from the fridge with juice inside. And served it to us. This cup wasn't even covered. I was even afraid to drink.

First moment - 3 restaurants in one Pizza, Sushi and Indian 🤔 I chose Indian. Right choice! It was very tasty! I will continue testing. Nice staff!

Don't expect a gala dinner. But if you want to get away from fries and burgers and eat well and cheaply, this is the place for you.

The service itself was very friendly, but unfortunately it took a long time to take the order, as did the food itself. Unfortunately, I also got the wrong dish. However, the taste of my food, which I didn't order, was quite ok.

The thing about this restaurant is that you leave again, the staff is extremely unfriendly and forget part of your order and the prices are very exorbitantly expensive and if you forget something in the restaurant and run back, the thing is gone and no one knows anything about it or don't understand you anymore or leave you alone (for me the shop should be closed and should never open again)

An environment that everyone feels 🤗 massive welcome. The food, service and Drinks are top notch! I can't wait to be back in Hamburg again. I will definitely come back for Chicken Koma (food) and Mango lassi ( Juice).

We opted for Sushi, but on receiving the menus I noticed that they were a bit sticky as well as the table. The food was pretty disappointing. 0.3ml drink (not listed on the menu) is twice the price of 0.2ml.

Unfortunately, mixed feelings. Cool ambience. Sparse furnishings. Unfortunately, the staff was unfriendly and not very service-oriented. We didn't like the food for the high price. Sorry. But pizza, pasta, sushi and Indian are probably a bit too much to choose from...

I was here with my daughter and we were very satisfied. The staff was nice and the food was delicious. I recommend it for me.

I was here multiple times during my stay in Hamburg, I had the pasta bolognese which in my opinion was very good. I also got a margharita pizza which was ok but not as good like bolognese. Food was served hot each time. I have nothing to complain about except from the location, it’s right next to the s-bahn which comes with some noise. Apart from that the atmosphere was great, all kinds of people came here to eat just a really chill place to go.

We were there as a family, there was sushi, pizza and Indian, all the dishes were delicious. I can only recommend it and the price was completely reasonable.

The food was very fine. Well balanced in terms of taste. We had a cozy table in the corner. The price is very reasonable. We would like to go there again because we enjoyed it. Unfortunately, the ceiling lighting didn't extend across the entire room, which is why the ambience came across as concrete.

On the positive side: The location and location is top and so is the ambience! Negative: I ate a Pizaa Mozzarella, unfortunately it wasn't as expected, the ingredients were fresh, but the pizza tasted too much like Gouda cheese than it would have made it like fresh mozzarella and fresh basilukim. I wouldn't recommend pizza there, especially given the prices Service wasn't that resturant like either.

It’s terrible, I went with my mother in the hope of eating delicious sushi. The sushi is terrible, it's made incorrectly and falls apart before you even take it, the dishes are not washed, the food stinks, the atmosphere is also terrible. I do not advise!

Service was friendly, pizza wasn't good especially for the price, sauce was charged without notice beforehand, apple spritzer was insanely expensive.

We wanted to eat here today, the internet said it was open... unfortunately that wasn't the case and we found ourselves standing in front of closed doors. Please update!

The price-performance ratio doesn't fit. The drinks are overpriced (0.33 l for €4.50). The Italian food was okay, but the price wasn't justified. Service and cleanliness were not good. The service staff was inattentive and slow, the tables and glasses were dirty.

The pizzas and the Indian dish were very good, but unfortunately the rest was not. Very long waiting times because of the delivery service at the same time, poor ambience, 3 different cards. No alcohol!

There's actually not much to say. The food is absolutely great, the service is great and the staff are all very friendly and accommodating.

Food TOP - Service FLOP We went to the food court for sushi on a Saturday evening. We came in and were a bit lost in the restaurant at first, as there was no greeting or information about whether you could choose your own seat or be shown there. We waited at the table for a few minutes for the waitress, but she didn't come. So we got the card ourselves. Since we wanted to eat sushi anyway, it didn't matter that that was the only thing on display. After another 10-15 minutes and telling the waitress that we would like to order, the time had come. We ordered 2 sushi menus that were really TOP. We drove home full. We won't eat there again simply because of the lack of service. At €100 for two, I just expect more. Improve your service, clear the tables faster, explain your principles to the customers and maybe play some music. Then you would definitely see us more often.

We spontaneously got a table here and were surprised at the good selection, as there is Italian, Indian and sushi in one shop. We ordered pizzas and once crunchy sushi. Unfortunately, the freshly made sushi sat on the counter for too long because they wanted to serve it with the pizzas. So it has lost some of the temperature and taste. The pizzas were delicious.

Staff is domineering and arrogant. Food is mediocre. Some reasonably good amateur chefs can do it even better. Absolutely not recommended. My review only refers to the Indian part of the restaurant. I can't judge the rest because I haven't tried anything there yet.

Perfect place and very wholesome and extremely tasty food. An inviting atmosphere for dining. Chicken Bhuna was optimally prepared and the lentil soup beforehand was also excellent. Highly recommended. Addendum: Pizza mista is also very good...

Went for sushi. We were sceptical at first because they also have indian cuisine and pizza, but it was pretty good. It's not the best food of your life but it's good value for the money. We would go again.

Wir waren das erste Mal am Nachmittag dort und an einem anderen Tag nochmal abends, das Ambiente hat uns abends dann besser gefallen, die Kerzen waren an, die Tische schön gedeckt. Einfach gemütlicher. Das Personal war sehr nett und lieb. Das Essen war sehr lecker ☺️ wenn wir wiedermal in Hamburg sind, kommen wir gerne wieder ☺️

Zu erst das positive das war ganz klar das Essen das war echt gut gerade das Sushi war gut Damit hört das positive leider schon auf wir bekamen direkt drei verschiedene Speisekarten von denen jedoch die Hälfte nicht mehr erhältlich war und die Preise auch keine Gültigkeit mehr hatten, dies erfuhren wir dann erst beim Bestellen selbst von dem wenig deutsch sprechenden Kellner. Das Ambiente könnte auch etwas überarbeitet bzw. Verbessert werden. Alles in allem gutes Essen der Rest leider nicht zu gebrauchen

Das Essen wurde frisch gemacht, aber es dauerte für ein schnellrestaurant schon etwas lange. Toilette waren nicht so sauber, wie ich dies gerne hätte, muss aber jeder selbst bewerten

Essen war sehr lecker. Personal war nett aber es dauert zu lange um zu bestellen/bezahlen obwohl langes warten fürs essen normal ist ist die Wartezeit für das bezahlen sehr lang.

Ein merkwürdiger Eindruck. Nette Sitzgelegenheiten und netter Eindruck, und auf der anderen Seite wird hinter dem Vorhang viel versteckt. Bedienung war freundlich und schnell am Platz. Essen war schnell zubereitet und sehr reichlich. Leckeres Essen, schärfe wählbar.

Freundlich wurden wir begrüßt und die Karte erläutert. Wir haben indisch gegessen und uns sehr wohlgefühlt.

Zu Stoßzeiten etwas lauter und hektisch (vergleichbar mit Vapiano) Das Personal habe ich als freundlich und bemüht kennengelernt. Die Pizza wird frisch vor den Augen zubereitet - und schmeckt dementsprechend gut. Jedoch dauert es leider etwas länger. Eine zweite Kasse wäre hier super! Es gibt verschiedene Pasta Angebote, habe ich noch nicht probiert. Mein Lieblingsgericht finde ich jedoch bei den Currys - Chicken Madras. Sehr scharf, sehr empfehlenswert. Das Restaurant habe ich als relativ sauber empfunden. Alles in allem komme ich gerne hierher.
