We've been regulars for several years, and my daughter, a vegetarian, loves the halloumi skewer. The food is delicious, always cooked to perfection, and the service is very attentive. My favorite restaurant in Dresden's city center. Thank you to the whole team! 💐

Delicious steak, delicious food

We ate there for New Year's Eve. The service was excellent, everything was great. We've eaten there several times before. We'd gladly go back.

That was the mixed grill for €28.50 (so small and so expensive!!!), which I didn't like at all. The beef was very fatty. This is the worst restaurant I've ever been to. In my opinion, the value for money is very poor.

We spontaneously decided to have a steak, and the atmosphere is charmingly rustic. We sat near the entrance, which was a bit drafty at times. The food was tasty, although I wasn't particularly impressed with the crème brûlée on the rump steak. The service was quick and friendly. I would come back and skip dessert. 😉

Extremely friendly and attentive staff. The meat quality was okay for this price range, but my personal highlight was the salad that came with the mixed grill – very varied and with an excellent dressing.

My wife and I were in Dresden looking for a steakhouse. After looking at all the reviews we decided to eat here. I had the fliet and my wife had the rump both medium well. They were cooked exactly to order. Everything is ala carte so you have to order your sides separately. This was by far the best steak I have had while traveling Europe.

The food was absolutely delicious, and the restaurant itself is very appealing in terms of atmosphere and music. We really enjoyed it. The staff was also very attentive. We were on holiday in Dresden.

The service was top notch, my sides were delicious but my steak, which is it's a steak place, wasn't that delicious and had a lot of cartilage, fat not rendered in places and was overall not so easy or appetizing to eat. But there were bites that were excellent.

A highly recommended restaurant. The main courses were delicious and beautifully presented. And the desserts were a true taste sensation. We give it 5 stars and a clear recommendation. Reserve a table and simply enjoy.

Well, what can you say? Our appetizers were forgotten, and apparently, nobody cared. To be honest, the food wasn't anything special. The mixed grill for €28 was more than meager. The chicken and pork were dry, the salad didn't look fresh either; they said it was the dressing... Yeah, right. Definitely not worth the money. What a shame, not exactly a great start to our holiday.

The meat was grilled to perfection when it arrived the second time, but i cant in good conscience give 5 stars when we had to return two of our orders, one for being charred and one for being rare when we ordered medium

The decor is lovely, but the aisles are a bit too narrow. The food is excellent, freshly prepared, and delicious. The waitresses were friendly, but they could have informed us beforehand that their time was limited due to reservations. I was disappointed to have to leave after a small two-hour birthday celebration, and the women had to finish their drinks in front of the bar. Disappointing!

We've now visited the Royal Steakhouse three times and have been very satisfied each time. The ambiance is appealing, the value for money is excellent, and the quality of the food is consistently very good. The service is also always friendly and attentive. Overall, everything is just right for us – we'll definitely be back.

The steak was terrible, it tasted like rotten carrots. Everything was served quickly, but the food was terrible.

The ambiance is good, there are plenty of indoor and outdoor seating options, and the restaurant is located on a quiet street with a wide variety of restaurants. We also tried the lunch special here, as we have at many neighboring restaurants. It's simply a fair price for tradespeople and the like if you don't want to go to the kebab shop every day. Unfortunately, this was the most disappointing experience. The selection of the lunch special wasn't bad, and you get a discounted price with a 0.2l drink, but the portion size was a joke; no one will get full. I mentioned this, and the only response I got was, "Well, just order it again then." Great idea, I'll just spend €40 on lunch every day... I'm sure you do too with your waiter's salary.

A very comfortable place, impeccable (and friendly) service, excellent food. A tender and perfectly cooked Argentinean fillet, a side of pan-fried spinach with parmesan, and a good quality wine. Those who love delicious burgers will find what they're looking for. Okay, teeth.

A culinary delight with superb service We dined there on a Tuesday evening with two children and a dog, using the DDFF card. It's quite expensive, but you get delicious food and excellent service. All the staff were friendly, polite, and attentive. The children's schnitzel was good. Since it was made with chicken, our children didn't like it quite as much, but that's a matter of personal taste. The steakhouse fries are absolutely delicious. The waiter brought ketchup and mayo without being asked, and that made him a hero to our children. A water bowl was brought for the dog right away. The young woman who primarily served us brought me the allergen menu. She asked about my allergies and immediately gave me information about dishes that were suitable for me. She went to the kitchen on her own initiative to double-check that all the dishes I had chosen were allergen-free and met my dietary requirements. We can wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant, especially for people with allergies or dietary restrictions, and will gladly return. Accepting the DDFF card was no problem. As stated in the terms and conditions, we had called ahead and made a reservation using the relevant keyword.

We went for lunch with nine people (ages 10-88). Reservations were easy; the food was delicious; the service was simply excellent; the ambiance was royal and rustic! Everyone was completely satisfied! Highly recommended!

We went out to dinner for business with a somewhat larger group. We had a variety of dishes, everything was perfect and served at the same time, and special requests were accommodated in a relaxed manner. We had a wonderful evening and the service was excellent!

Super friendly small talk with the waiters and waitresses, even though it was busy, didn't seem rushed. Our special requests were accommodated. The food arrived promptly and was very tasty, the meat as promised – kudos to the kitchen! At the end, we were asked for the catering bill, which was very attentive. Never again from this restaurant! Food order taken incorrectly, loooong wait, food so-so, bill incorrect (to our detriment). Dessert couldn't be ordered because none came. We'd still be sitting there with our child. A complete mess. Service-oriented? A foreign concept. Dresden city center, a disgrace...

Dinner outside. Unfortunately, we can't comment on the ambiance inside. One downside is the service, as our request for another drink was unfortunately ignored twice after the meal. On the other hand, paying was very quick. The food was excellent, and the steaks were cooked to perfection.

Since we enjoy a good piece of meat, we were given a gift certificate for Steak Royal. The staff is attentive and friendly, and we received a warm welcome. The decor is rustic and fitting. We ordered the beef fillet and the beef burger. The food was very tasty and plentiful. We would happily recommend it.

It's perfectly fine that dogs are allowed in the restaurant. But if the staff doesn't say anything when two dogs are allowed to sit on the bench and eat from the table, and the benches aren't cleaned thoroughly by the staff after they leave, that's a big no-go. I don't want to comment on the limited portions.

Unfortunately, my partner's steak was very tough. I would have expected something different from a steakhouse that calls itself Steak Royale. The service was excellent, and the side dishes were also delicious.

This is our third time at this restaurant. The service is generally pleasant, and the meat is good. The steak was delicious again this time, but unfortunately, the fries weren't as good. They tasted old and were extremely greasy, as if they'd been sitting in oil for too long. We asked for new fries, but the second portion wasn't crispy either. One portion cost €25, and unfortunately, there was no salad included. For that price, I think you could have expected at least some salad.

Very good food. Fast and friendly service. They close an hour earlier in the evening than indicated on their website and on Google, which is very unpleasant if you arrive relatively late for dinner and are suddenly pressured to quickly order dessert because they want to close early. Reduced opening hours should be mentioned when making a reservation so you can decide in advance whether you want to eat there.

I sometimes go to Steak Royal for lunch. There is always a changing menu and the dishes are very tasty. The staff is attentive and nice. The decor fits a steak restaurant. This time I didn't order steak, but rather shrimp with asparagus risotto. Was very good!

Salad with pieces of meat was very good. The steak (200g with mushroom sauce and steak fries) wasn't that good, it was tough and you had to chew a lot.

The food was beyond delicious! We had the beef fillet and the beef rump Strindberg. The fillet was buttery tender! The creamed spinach was very tasty and the baked potato also tasted very good. The corn on the cob was also good and the breading of the Strindberg steak was terrific, and the bacon beans were just as tasty. The atmosphere was rather rustic, but clean. Our main waiter was very good and attentive. The drinks supplier was definitely still training. ;-)

The service was excellent, attentive, friendly, and fast. The food was very tasty overall. One or two minor criticisms: The chicken skewer could have been a bit hotter, but it still tasted good. It would have been helpful to note on the menu that the chili con carne is a cheese tortilla. Not everyone likes that flavor. The garlic bread was unfortunately a bit disappointing, as the garlic flavor was barely noticeable. Despite these minor issues, the food was delicious overall, and we'd be happy to come back!

We went for steaks to celebrate birthday. The place is cute, nice architecture style. But for any services we waited very long time, from our entrance to the moment we got food, 60 minutes have passed. Later on, waiting for additional service or the bill took very long as well. The food was overall OK, but one steak (Argentinean, supposed to be medium) was totally undone. Rare to say the least. After pointing it out to the waiter, he just smiled and said that he will tell it to the chef next time. Hard to give more than 3 stars to a steak restaurant, which can’t make steaks properly…
