Tuesday evening in the run-up to Christmas and the steakhouse was already well attended, a table became available and the service started straight away!!!💚👍 very accommodating and polite, you feel at home. Classic steakhouse in Weißen Gasse. In summer you can sit comfortably on the terrace and watch the hustle and bustle on the street......... I was there for lunch today...€11.90 for a 180g sirloin steak with a chestnut crust was delicious 😋....proud beer prices 0.25l/€3.40 and the 0.4 beer for €5.10 was hearty. The steakhouse has a second dining room on the first floor

Great steak restaurant at fair prices! The service was outstanding; we had to wait a bit until our table was free, but we got a glass of champagne on the house straight away. Happy to come back!

Have been there several times, but the quality has deteriorated somewhat. Some of the burgers were cold because they seemed to have been prepared incorrectly with the starter. The music inside is also way too loud...

You won't be disappointed here. You can eat really well here in a cozy and relaxed atmosphere. My fillet steak was excellent, super tender, just right with a delicious Shiraz. The service is friendly and quick. We'll definitely be back.

The restaurant wasn't very busy for lunch on Sundays. The service was okay. Our food tasted good. The mashed potatoes can be served hot next time.

The food itself was good. But calling it a royal grill plate and charging €30 for 3 mini pieces of meat is cheeky. I'm not surprised that there wasn't a number of grams listed because it was about 150-180 grams of meat.

If you reserve a table there, you should always book on the upper floor, the lower tables are an imposition because the guests coming in forget to close the second door, you are constantly sitting in a draft. We had to return the starter because the meat was still partially frozen. That shouldn't happen to a chef. It's better to go to the competition around the corner. Price level similar but the atmosphere much better. We won't be going there any time soon.

The two of us ate there. There wasn't much going on and the tables were mostly empty. I ordered a sirloin steak of 400 gr. As a guest, I assumed that the chef would be able to create this "medium" in a species-appropriate manner. Unfortunately that wasn't quite the case, so one point was deducted. However, the Vitello Tonato was excellent, and the beef fillet with the spaghetti was also great. However, the waiting times were not reasonable and the waiter slept most of the time.

The waiters were really nice, but otherwise rather disappointing. Mistakes were made when taking the order (entering the wrong steak size into the tablet). The steak was no longer hot, relatively tasteless and simply nothing special. Side dishes were solid (mushrooms) to good (spinach). Shoutout, as I said, to the nice (Arab-looking) waiter who made us really generously filled long drinks

Phenomenal steak house. Wow. Both our steaks were grilled a perfect medium rare, topped with some fresh garlic and rosemary, and came with a beautiful side of herb butter. I cannot recommend this place high enough. Must dine here if you’re looking for a stellar steak. Cheers!

Unfortunately we were disappointed! The pork was cold, the mushrooms were missing and the sauce was a joke in terms of quantity. In addition, the sauce didn't come in a gravy boat, so there was a good spill. The chicken skewer included pineapple, which wasn't on the menu. They offered to warm up the meat, but I declined because I didn't want to wait another 30 minutes... they didn't apologize for that either. What a shame! We won't go there again.

We've been there 5 times now... and we always enjoy coming back... even from Berlin The food is consistently excellent and even special requests are fulfilled. The service staff is always super friendly and attentive. Even in stressful situations, an overview is maintained and everything is done to do justice to the guest! Update 2024: we were here for the first time in 2018 and yesterday for the 6th time. ...It's still just as great.

We waited souses about 10 minutes (we asked another employee for souses), the steak was unfortunately bad.

Great food, friendly staff and a beautifully decorated restaurant. The Beuf Stroganoff from the lunch menu is highly recommended, as are the homemade lemonades. The only negative point for some people may be the portion size. It could have been a little more, but I would still be full.

We ate there with our 2 children. The service was extremely good, quick and courteous. We didn't have to wait long for food and the food itself was excellent! Well prepared, great taste and good selection. The prices are absolutely reasonable. We will definitely come back!!

The service was extremely friendly, but a bit overwhelmed even though it wasn't that good to do. Unfortunately, the outside area is not very inviting. But it's still definitely worth a visit for the food.

With its rustic and cozy atmosphere, the restaurant immediately makes a very positive and inviting impression. As expected, the menu mainly offers steaks and other meat dishes such as burgers or schnitzel in various price ranges. Surprisingly, a small selection of vegetarian dishes is also provided. The homemade lemonades didn't take long to arrive and tasted really good. After less than 20 minutes, the ordered food arrived at our place. I ate a skewer of chicken. The very tender and high quality chicken meat was stuffed with cheese and coated in crispy bacon. Included in the price were two side dishes of your choice. The food was convincing across the board. The staff was always courteous, friendly and humorous. I can highly recommend this restaurant.

By far the worst steakhouse we have ever been to!! Waiting time between starter and main course 50 minutes. Meat quality poor. Gark points not hit and all tendons. Side dishes ice cold. At such high prices. Incredible. Dresden has much better restaurants than this and I would therefore advise anyone not to visit here

The food was delicious, my chicken was very tender and juicy. I particularly liked the homemade lemonade with their great flavor combinations (raspberry-vanilla, rhubarb-vanilla...). A small point of criticism was responded to immediately and professionally. The prices are reasonable for the quality of the meat.

Hammer! I don't know the last time I had such a delicious meal. The atmosphere is wonderful, the staff is super nice. Everything we wished for was fulfilled. I can only praise the staff. Prices were fair and the portions are sufficient.

In terms of quality, this restaurant is absolutely recommended. Meat on point and really very tasty. However, if you are really hungry you either want to take a really big wallet with you or quickly go to the fast food of your choice. The portions are almost brazen - quality or not.

Our dinner at Steak Royal in Dresden was just what we needed. My craving for steak led us there, and the meal didn't disappoint. Despite being seated near the door, which made it chilly due to the cold outside, the friendly staff made up for it with their warm service. The food was satisfying, and the cozy atmosphere added to the experience.

Starter was an onion soup which tasted very good. Unfortunately not original. We also ordered entrecote and sirloin steak, which was extremely stringy and partly inedible. The side dishes were still good.

The restaurant is rustic and comfortably furnished. It also offers plenty of seating outside. We didn't really need a reservation. Called half an hour in advance and it worked. The food was very good. I had the beef rump steak, which could have been fried a little longer in the core. The service was also super friendly and accommodating. I can only recommend it.

Well-mannered staff. We got Argentinian steaks. Delicious and tender, and prepared just as desired. Toilet on the first floor, as far as we could see no lift.

Hello, I can definitely recommend this place. My Strindberg steak was really good, very tasty mustard onion topping.

Unfortunately, the "new" service staff are not so friendly. We've been coming here for years and last visit we ordered the usual. The side dish included onions even though there hadn't been any in years. Of course we didn't think about it when ordering because we know our way around. After the food came and we wanted the side dish without onion, people shook their heads and said it had always been like that. Annoyed, the side dish was brought again, without the onions but also without the spices. So our service really wasn't great. Steak was otherwise good. Renee was/is the waitress, like the other guys :)

We eat there as a couple without children. In my opinion the sweet spot of the restaurant. Entrecôte medium and the grill plate were eaten once. Both tasted perfect. I grill myself at home with a thermometer etc. and usually don't eat meat in a restaurant because I can do it better at home. Not at Steak Royal, the quality was really impressive. A mini criticism, I had ordered side dishes separately and when I accepted the order I was assured that the side dishes would be brought separately. That wasn't the case, the mushrooms were right under the meat :( We will come back in any case. 👍🏻

We had dinner at Steak Royal on Saturday evening. The reservation went smoothly, when we arrived we were greeted warmly and were able to choose a spot. The prices are already higher, so we had certain expectations. These were not fulfilled. The cheese burger tasted just ok. It tastes much better in other chains. The brioche was dry and cold, the patty over salted. The fries were frozen, which was absolutely disappointing. The entrecote was supposed to be medium, but was rather rare. That doesn't work either, definitely too much for €33. The service was very nice and courteous but couldn't make up for the food. No repeat for us.

Spontaneous visit on Monday evening...we were very satisfied...the service, the food and the selection of drinks, all recommended!

They come from deepest Lower Bavaria and travel to Dresden at least once a year. A visit to Steak Royal is almost always a must. We really like the atmosphere. And in our opinion the steaks and the wines are very delicate. Meat was always cooked to medium rare and not dead.

There is a delicious lunch menu here from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Friendly, courteous service and great food to match. This restaurant is really recommended. The Steak Royal is a must on every visit to Dresden. We'd love to come back.
