Never again from this restaurant! Food order taken incorrectly, loooong wait, food so-so, bill incorrect (to our detriment). Dessert couldn't be ordered because none came. We'd still be sitting there with our child. A complete mess. Service-oriented? A foreign concept. Dresden city center, a disgrace...

Super friendly small talk with the waiters and waitresses, even though it was busy, didn't seem rushed. Our special requests were accommodated. The food arrived promptly and was very tasty, the meat as promised – kudos to the kitchen! At the end, we were asked for the catering bill, which was very attentive. All in all, a lovely visit and worth recommending. Keep up the good work!

Dinner outside. Unfortunately, we can't comment on the ambiance inside. One downside is the service, as our request for another drink was unfortunately ignored twice after the meal. On the other hand, paying was very quick. The food was excellent, and the steaks were cooked to perfection.

Since we enjoy a good piece of meat, we were given a gift certificate for Steak Royal. The staff is attentive and friendly, and we received a warm welcome. The decor is rustic and fitting. We ordered the beef fillet and the beef burger. The food was very tasty and plentiful. We would happily recommend it.

It's perfectly fine that dogs are allowed in the restaurant. But if the staff doesn't say anything when two dogs are allowed to sit on the bench and eat from the table, and the benches aren't cleaned thoroughly by the staff after they leave, that's a big no-go. I don't want to comment on the limited portions.

Unfortunately, my partner's steak was very tough. I would have expected something different from a steakhouse that calls itself Steak Royale. The service was excellent, and the side dishes were also delicious.

This is our third time at this restaurant. The service is generally pleasant, and the meat is good. The steak was delicious again this time, but unfortunately, the fries weren't as good. They tasted old and were extremely greasy, as if they'd been sitting in oil for too long. We asked for new fries, but the second portion wasn't crispy either. One portion cost €25, and unfortunately, there was no salad included. For that price, I think you could have expected at least some salad.

Very good food. Fast and friendly service. They close an hour earlier in the evening than indicated on their website and on Google, which is very unpleasant if you arrive relatively late for dinner and are suddenly pressured to quickly order dessert because they want to close early. Reduced opening hours should be mentioned when making a reservation so you can decide in advance whether you want to eat there.

I sometimes go to Steak Royal for lunch. There is always a changing menu and the dishes are very tasty. The staff is attentive and nice. The decor fits a steak restaurant. This time I didn't order steak, but rather shrimp with asparagus risotto. Was very good!

We looked for a nice steak house and found it, without a reservation we got a table for 2 adults and 2 children. The food was delicious and sufficient, and the children also enjoyed it. The service was very friendly. Highly recommended!!

Salad with pieces of meat was very good. The steak (200g with mushroom sauce and steak fries) wasn't that good, it was tough and you had to chew a lot.

The food was beyond delicious! We had the beef fillet and the beef rump Strindberg. The fillet was buttery tender! The creamed spinach was very tasty and the baked potato also tasted very good. The corn on the cob was also good and the breading of the Strindberg steak was terrific, and the bacon beans were just as tasty. The atmosphere was rather rustic, but clean. Our main waiter was very good and attentive. The drinks supplier was definitely still training. ;-)

The service was excellent, attentive, friendly, and fast. The food was very tasty overall. One or two minor criticisms: The chicken skewer could have been a bit hotter, but it still tasted good. It would have been helpful to note on the menu that the chili con carne is a cheese tortilla. Not everyone likes that flavor. The garlic bread was unfortunately a bit disappointing, as the garlic flavor was barely noticeable. Despite these minor issues, the food was delicious overall, and we'd be happy to come back!

We went for steaks to celebrate birthday. The place is cute, nice architecture style. But for any services we waited very long time, from our entrance to the moment we got food, 60 minutes have passed. Later on, waiting for additional service or the bill took very long as well. The food was overall OK, but one steak (Argentinean, supposed to be medium) was totally undone. Rare to say the least. After pointing it out to the waiter, he just smiled and said that he will tell it to the chef next time. Hard to give more than 3 stars to a steak restaurant, which can’t make steaks properly…

My steak was completely cold served 3 minutes after I ordered it, which makes me wonder how in earth it was prepared. It came with a horrible crust made of grease and whatever, as far as I can tell. Mushroom straight out of a can possibly. Fries thick like unimaginable. We also ordered a burger which was disgusting, the cheese was not even melted. Service is perfect. Wait staff very nice. But I will not come again

I write this review with mixed feelings. We went there twice in a row, yesterday we had a beef fillet steak, that was really great. Since we didn't want to play the lottery (it's always a thing with the ratings) we thought we'd go back the following day. Since we had steak yesterday we wanted to eat something different today. I ordered veal liver. The waitress asked if I wanted it medium, I answered yes. When the food came I was shocked by how it looked, four heaps of mashed potatoes and the rest was a mess. The liver was mushy, simply inedible, it was cooked to pieces🤮. I complained about this meal and the waitress understood. At the next table there was also a complaint about the liver, which was noted. We had to pay the entire amount, which we found to be outrageous. Since we didn't want to get upset any further, we took note of it and paid. After all, the staff can't do anything about it. We definitely won't go there again.

Nice ambience. We happened to be there on a Monday and saw the Monday offer. We found skirt steak 250g, two side dishes of your choice and a large glass of beer for €25 to be very fair. The steak was on point, the service was quick and friendly. Highly recommend this location.

Very courteous and friendly service. I haven't had such fantastic food in a really long time. Everything was delicious, great quality and the price-performance ratio was just right. There is a great selection of main courses, side dishes and drinks. I ate ostrich on skewers and it was so amazing. Super tender and a top taste experience. The chef does a first-class job here. Several good wines on the menu and a large selection of draft beers. It's probably not a nice place to sit in the entrance area, but since we had reserved, we got a nice table with a comfortable bench. You can easily recommend the restaurant. We'll be back.

Steak Royal is a restaurant that I always enjoy visiting. The staff is very friendly, helpful and completely professional. The selection of dishes corresponds to what I expect from a good steakhouse, whereby the menu is not overloaded and you have many options to put together your meal individually. After a reasonable waiting period, you will receive a dish that looks and tastes excellent; additional toppings such as ketchup and mayo are also welcome. The prices are absolutely appropriate for the good quality of the meat and other ingredients. The restaurant is not cheap, but the fresh, lean and tendon-free meat should be worth it. I would love to come back.

Was here for the department celebration. Although I've never liked half-raw meat, ("through" still looked raw to me...), my colleagues were really excited about the steaks. Service and ambience were great. Also suitable for smaller events.

Classic steakhouse in Weißen Gasse. In summer you can sit comfortably on the terrace and watch the hustle and bustle on the street......... I was there for lunch today...€11.90 for a 180g skirt steak with a chestnut crust was delicious 😋....proud beer prices 0.25l/€3.40 and the 0.4 beer for €5.10 was hearty. The steakhouse has a second dining room on the first floor

Have been there several times, but the quality has deteriorated somewhat. Some of the burgers were cold because they seemed to have been prepared incorrectly with the starter. The music inside is also way too loud...

The restaurant wasn't very busy for lunch on Sundays. The service was okay. Our food tasted good. The mashed potatoes can be served hot next time.

The food itself was good. But calling it a royal grill plate and charging €30 for 3 mini pieces of meat is cheeky. I'm not surprised that there wasn't a number of grams listed because it was about 150-180 grams of meat.

If you reserve a table there, you should always book on the upper floor, the lower tables are an imposition because the guests coming in forget to close the second door, you are constantly sitting in a draft. We had to return the starter because the meat was still partially frozen. That shouldn't happen to a chef. It's better to go to the competition around the corner. Price level similar but the atmosphere much better. We won't be going there any time soon.
