Estancia Steakhouse Klotzsche in Dresden

A very pleasant restaurant despite being fully booked. Very friendly staff. The filet steak was cooked to perfection, just as ordered. Our friends were also very impressed – and not just with the food. They were very attentive to our allergies. We would gladly return.

The food was okay, but the portions were rather small, and the prices were steep. Unfortunately, the service was poor: inattentive staff and a long wait despite the restaurant being empty. A shame.

A fantastic steakhouse in Dresden-Klotzsche! The meat is of outstanding quality and grilled to absolute perfection – exactly as you'd want it. The service is exceptionally friendly, attentive, and warm without being intrusive. We were also pleasantly surprised by the diverse menu: In addition to excellent steaks, there are other very good dishes, so there's truly something for everyone. The reasonably priced weekday lunch special is also particularly noteworthy, offering great value for money. Overall, a thoroughly enjoyable visit – we'll definitely be back and can wholeheartedly recommend Estancia Steakhouse Dresden.

Excellent meat, tender and juicy. 1000 times better than "Casa Mia," those strange Italians.

After about a 70-minute wait, the 400g rump steak, ordered medium for €53, arrived at our table. Unfortunately, it wasn't medium at all, but rather quite rare. My son and wife had burgers, which were "okay." The bruschetta served before the meal was presented very carelessly. It wasn't worth €6 either. Conclusion: never again. The price-performance ratio is poor.

This wasn't our first time at Estancia Steakhouse, and we've never been disappointed. Today was especially wonderful. The service was superb from the initial phone call to our farewell. They even took care of our dog. Everything tasted fantastic. A huge thank you to the entire team!

The Szegediner goulash was (almost) suitable for vegetarians. In a steakhouse, one expects goulash to be a meat-based dish, not four small crumbs.

Estancia Klotzsche has far surpassed Estancia Strießen. Friendly, attentive service (the Iranian waitress is fantastic), good meat cooked to perfection.

Excellent steakhouse. I recommend the crispy sweet potato fries. Large parking lot with an entrance next to the adjacent building.

Unfortunately, they forgot the chicken for dinner, and then it was dry and incredibly tough... truffle puree was ordered, but sadly the truffle was missing... A shame, because otherwise everything was actually good.

It's like coming home. Friendly service, a lovely atmosphere, and, last but not least, consistently good food. Highly recommended.

On the evening of October 18, 2025, we (two adults, two dogs) visited Estancia. We were greeted by a very friendly staff member, and before we could order our drinks, our two rascals had already been taken care of under the table... We really enjoyed THAT :-))) Now it's OUR turn: Bruschetta and aioli with bread, followed by an Estancia Burger (with an extra patty, you never know) and a sirloin steak – WOW, it was perfect and spot on. The patty was almost too much, but since it's already there, :-D Everything tasted absolutely perfect, and the price was fair, even though we'd been warned beforehand that it would be on the high side. We didn't notice any of that; all in all, the visit was worth seven out of five stars.

Terrible... you order steaks with fries and herb butter and get beans. Then you say it's wrong, and the waitress just says, "I wrote down the beans," and that's it... even though she repeated everything correctly when we ordered. The best part was that we didn't get a salad with the steaks. Even though it's always included, we were even asked what dressing we wanted when we ordered. It's unbelievable. It's a total mess. You shouldn't even be paying for something like this here.

I love coming here, even with my family. The children's menu is colorable, so it's easy to pass the time. It would be even better next time if the meat is cooked thoroughly for the kids. Unfortunately, our rump steak for one of our daughters was a little rare. Maybe that was my fault; I could have mentioned it specifically. Otherwise, very attentive and accommodating.

We ate a super delicious burger. All our wishes were fulfilled. And a huge plus! We had our dog with us, and they immediately offered him water and also offered to bring him some meat. We'd be happy to come back.

If you're looking for a steak dinner in Dresden, go to Alisa and her team. Top-quality meat cooked to your liking. The premium rosé from Schuh (Spätburgunder Rosé from Tonneau Sachsen dry 2022) was also excellent! My dessert (beef tartare) rounded off the evening!

In the beer garden under the linden trees, the aphid droppings are sticky on the tables and chairs. If that bothers you, you can sit under the parasols. Otherwise, I was very satisfied with everything and look forward to my next visit.

We always enjoy coming here, but the quality has noticeably declined. Despite the expensive steaks, they serve burnt baguettes with both meals as a matter of course. A no-go in my opinion! This just goes to show that it's all about quantity, not quality, and that's at this price point. Thanks!

Super! Friendly staff and fast service

This review represents my personal opinion only. Poor presentation of the food. Appetizers were mediocre. Pimientos de Padrón were poorly prepared. A truly negative experience with the burgers ordered by the children. Poor service. Cold burger buns. (Constantly smoking, "paused" "staff" in front of the restaurant doesn't give a professional impression during the visit.) Unfortunately, I won't be returning here again. It's a shame, as we would have liked to have found another restaurant for our "quality time."

Absolutely beautiful beer garden, incredibly delicious food, and the service was good too! We celebrated our second wedding anniversary here and were shocked that the beef club is no longer there! But the Klotzsche was just as delicious. We'll be back!

Four of us were there for dinner. I had a 550g steak. Absolutely fantastic. The other dishes were excellent. It was spare ribs, a lo carp burger, and a rump steak. Highly recommended. The service was very good, competent, and friendly. I'd happily go there anytime.

We won't be coming back. I was looking forward to a juicy grilled chicken fillet, but received a piece of meat that was dry and burnt on both sides, which was lukewarm and tasted extremely burnt. Side dishes such as broccoli (9 euros!) were served lukewarm and the quantity was a joke for the price! The service and kitchen seemed overwhelmed, we had to wait a long time for food and drinks Price performance doesn't fit here.

Unfortunately we won't be eating there anymore. The service was very nice and deserved full stars and was also very dog ​​friendly. I can see that the prices are higher than in a normal restaurant BUT for 200g of grilled chicken breast (€18.00), cheese (€1) and rosemary potatoes (€7.00) a total of €26 was charged for unfortunately the small portion. All three of us found it really cheeky and were also a bit shocked. Our burgers were good but we were also a bit shocked at the prices of the side dishes and dips. We understand a lot, especially when it comes to prices. After all, nothing gets cheaper, but you can also overdo it.

The first impression was good. But I was unfortunately very disappointed last Saturday. I like to eat well and love it when the food is cooked/grilled with passion. First, the drinks: There weren't really any cocktails. White wine, only dry. Then I ordered a Hugo, but unfortunately, they didn't have that. In the end, I had a non-alcoholic drink. We had a rump steak with sweet potatoes, salad, carpaccio, and ribs. A salad could be much better: grapes, walnuts, cranberries, pomegranate. It was carelessly prepared and garnished with a bit of corn. Very disappointing. Then came the main course. The ribs were okay. My steak was supposed to be medium-well, but unfortunately, it wasn't, and the outside of the steak was burnt. So bad that the taste was very overpowering. They just served regular fries, even though I ordered sweet potatoes. The taste wasn't exactly amazing for me. The service was nice, but unfortunately, they charged us incorrectly. They addressed this error later. Unfortunately, it's not worth a second visit.

I've been to this restaurant twice in a short period of time. The food is excellent and the staff are friendly. Last time it took longer for our food to be ready because the restaurant was busy. However, this was already communicated to us at the beginning, so we were able to prepare for it. But it is tasty that the food is freshly prepared. It's nice to wait there. I'd love to come back when I'm in Dresden...

Absolutely. Steaks are great, and so is everything else

So performance is great, but value for money is somehow not. Good steak is expensive but not that much. This is much cheaper with the same quality. And the prices for side dishes and drinks are outrageous. Glass of apple spritzer for €6? Side sauce €5? It was ok once, but I probably won't come here again. Sorry.

Thanks to Aylin we got a delicious meal shortly beforehand. I ordered on the phone to pick up. Then the entertainment receipt was even printed out. I rarely see people who think for themselves. Big praise.🙏

Very good food, slightly higher prices, but the quality speaks for itself.

The steakhouse is modern, everything is very clean and tastefully decorated. The staff were consistently very polite and warm. The dishes were very tasty and the meat was of very good quality. Children are also welcome, we didn't miss anything and we can highly recommend this steakhouse.

Very nice steak restaurant. But I found the prices very expensive. Therefore 1 star deduction. For example, 3 shrimps (and they count as a side dish with the steak) cost €21. That's a good 58€ for a 250g with the 3 shrimps (with a small salad on the side)

A great steakhouse in the north of Dresden, with parking behind the house and tram and bus right in front of the front door. The staff is friendly and competent, the food is extremely tasty and highly recommended. The prices are a little above average, but this is certainly justified given this quality. You can definitely have been here!

Great restaurant and great food.

Basically the food (and especially the steaks) tastes very good. Good wine selection. However, the service and kitchen seem overwhelmed. Price-performance ratio is not right here. Ordering and bringing the first drinks took quite a long time. Currently popular aperitifs are completely missing from the menu - only Aperol and Hugo are still offered here. The steaks requested medium came too raw. After a search by the service staff and complaints from the kitchen, it was grilled again. Unfortunately, one person's steak ended up on the other's plate... and yes, they were just grilled. At €45 for 250g of fillet steak, you can expect a steak restaurant (which doesn't do anything else all day) to remake the botched steak. Lettuce leaves from the side salad are very dry (like the ready-made salad from the bag). Steak pepper was served after we asked twice - by then half had already finished their steaks. Children's nuggets very dry. The espresso only came lukewarm, ice cream was served on warm plates (presumably fresh from the dishwasher). Certainly complaining at a high level. However, you can expect something given the price range. Overall, unfortunately very disappointing... we won't be coming back.

Spitz Fleisch 1000 times better than Casa Mia

We were guests in the restaurant in a large group, which was very well attended. The waitress wasn't exactly friendly, she taught us first... The food tasted good, but the price-performance ratio wasn't there for me.

Meat is to die for, and the bruscetta is fantastic, not like its neighbor "Casa Mia". The best thing is that the atmosphere seems nice and lively, quite the opposite to "Casa Mia".

We had a place on the waiting list because everything was fully booked on Saturday. If something becomes available, we get a call. A great service. We were then lucky to get a table. The food was excellent as always, as was the tasty Kellerbier. Culinary as always 5/5. We like to come here for steak.

The Steak House impresses with excellent meat quality, juicy steaks and a cozy atmosphere. The staff is friendly and attentive, and the ambience invites you to an enjoyable evening. Unfortunately, the price-performance ratio is not quite optimal - the prices are a little too high for the quantity and side dishes offered. However, those willing to spend a little more will be rewarded with a delicious experience.

We spontaneously went to the restaurant. We were lucky and got a table because it was well attended. A very friendly welcome at the entrance, even our dog was welcomed. The food was great. Highly recommended. We'll be back.

Cuando tenía hambre de carne me fijé por primera vez en esa casa de carne. El menú estaba bien ordenado y el camarero agradable y bien informado. El filete irlandés (envejecido en seco) no tenía maravillas al menos en la versión de tasa media. Todo junto todo bien, pero un poco caro. 2a visita Elegí el rumpsteak argentino, una vez más cocinado al punto, pero servido con mucha sal y algunas partes de cartílago que no esperaría en un rumpsteak. Cuando me dirigí a la sal, la respuesta fue, podría ser, el cocinero está enamorado, bien para una casa de carne común, pero no a este nivel. Por lo tanto, hay margen de mejora y la próxima adaptación de precios debe hacerse cuidadosamente.

The two of us had lunch here on a Tuesday. Fillet steak 100g with salad from the lunch menu, with sweet potato fries. The restaurant was not very busy (perhaps that's why it was a bit cold in the restaurant), the service was friendly and above all: it tasted delicious and was sufficient. Plus you get a good price at lunchtime. We'd love to come back.

August 22, 2024 for dinner: 400 g of tough Argentinian rib-eye (€53!), Surf&Turf with mini fillet (€50!) - both burnt instead of with roasted aromas. As a hobby cook and steak fan, I can do this better at home. We will no longer take part in the expensive taste lottery in the future...

A dream! Burgers fresh, grilled to perfection. You can taste the individual toppings on the burger. Bun (roll) fresh, crispy on the outside, soft on the inside. The taste and service as well as the ambience are perfect! We'd love to come back!

After the ridiculous experience of “Casa Mia”, we happened to come here to Steckhause and were quite satisfied with the quality of the meat and the good service (which is not at this level at “Casa Mia”), so our new favorite restaurant will be here in the future be.

It used to be better. We had linguine with shrimp and the salmon. The latter in particular was a joke... mini portion of salmon and just a ladle of spinach on the side. Quality is okay, but nothing that an amateur cook can't do at home. I thought it was cheeky to charge €24 for this. The service staff is the complete opposite, super nice and received the feedback very positively. That's what you want.

Meine Familie und ich sind seit ihrer Eröffnung Stammkunden der Estancia in Dresden Klotzsche, einem Außenbezirk Nähe Flughafen. Der Service ist gut und die Qualität der Steaks -bis auf wenige Ausreißer- auch. Das Preis-/ Leistungsverhältnis war jedoch schon immer grenzwertig. Leider wurde nunmehr der Bogen mit der jüngsten Preiserhöhung überspannt. 25€ für simple Spare Ribs ohne Beilage (!) sind einfach unverhältnismäßig. Inklusive Pommes und Pimientos de Padrón sowie einem großen Bier summierte sich die Rechnung auf stolze 45€. Ich gehe regelmäßig in verschiedensten Restaurants in Deutschland essen und schaue auch nicht auf den Euro, wenn Preis und Leistung stimmen. Sorry, liebes Estancia Team, too much is too much...ihr habt uns leider verloren!
