Sehr zu empfehlendes Steakhouse direkt gegenüber der Frauenkirche

Das Essen war wirklich sehr gut. Steak und Fisch auf den gewünschten Punkt. Vorspeise sehr lecker, Dessert ebenfalls . Portionen reichlich. Am besten hat uns unserer zuständiger Kellner gefallen. Er kann es einfach. Er kann die Karte, er kennt die Gerichte, er kann verkaufen und er hat Spaß dabei. Ganz hervorragend, sehr zu empfehlen. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Schönes Ambiente, gute Speise-/Cocktailauswahl, aufmerksame Bedienung und Fleisch Liebhaber kommen auf ihre Kosten. Wir kommen gern wieder.

Bedienung ist immer super, jedes mal sehr aufmerksam. Essen ist hervorragend.

Wir hatten uns für das Elchsteak entschieden ,welches auf der Karte stand,leider was es Saisonbedingt nicht mehr verfügbar und die Karte sollte demnächst geändert werden,es wäre schon eher besser gewesen,auch Weine waren nicht alle mehr verfügbar! Der Nachtisch war für mich diesmal enttäuschend gegenüber den anderen Besuchen im Ontario!

Perfekt gewürzte und auf den Punkt gegarte Steaks! Super freundliches Personal! Sehr empfehlenswert!!

Wie immer sehr schmackhaft! Was uns nicht gefallen hat, es gab an diesem Tag keinen Elch, mit welchem das Restaurant ja intensiv Werbung macht.

Ich hatte Rinderfilet und muss sagen es war mit das beste was ich bis jetzt gegessen habe. Wirklich top und weiter zu empfehlen. Meine Freundin hatte Lachs und war der gleichen Meinung wie ich. Zum Nachtisch haben wir einfach zwei Kugeln Eis mit Sahne bestellt und die Anrichtung war wirklich spitze. Top Laden und wirklich weiter zu empfehlen. Preis - Leistung spitze. Hervorragendes Steakhouse! Das Steak war exakt auf den Allowpunkt gegart, wie gewünscht, und die Portionen machen definitiv satt. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist top. Der Service war aufmerksam und sehr freundlich, dazu ein schönes, angenehmes Ambiente. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder.

Das Beste am Restaurant ist die Lage. Mein premium Hüftsteak sollte zart und geschmackvoll sehr gut sein, es war jedoch nur an den Rändern zart, ansonsten zäh. Das Rinderfiletsteak meiner Frau sollte medium gegrillt werden. Es sah so aus als wäre es kaum auf dem Grill gewesen. Die Ofenkartoffeln waren hart und kalt. Die Weinempfehlung stimmte auch nicht mit der Realität überein. Wir sind an sich keine Meckerer und dazu leidenschaftliche Steakesser. Wir können dieses Restaurant nicht empfehlen.

We went there for dinner tonight. The restaurant was full, but we were lucky and got a table without a reservation. The young man who served us was very polite and friendly and even recommended a suitable dip. The garlic bread was delicious, and the beef fillet was cooked to perfection. This was our second time there, and it's always fantastic. Highly recommended.

We spontaneously went to the restaurant. The location right next to the Frauenkirche is perfect. The food and drinks were very good. The service was poor. We waited forever for a waiter and weren't greeted. We were completely ignored three times when we asked for a waiter. My husband complained, and only then did the staff become a little friendlier. They did deduct two drinks from our bill for the inconvenience, but unfortunately, it ruined the atmosphere of the evening.

Part of a travel tour from the US and just wanted a burger and to be WARM. Spotted this place and wandered in. Great food and service. They were patient with these Americans and it was greatly appreciated.

We were lucky to snag a table for five. Our order was taken promptly, the service was very friendly, and we felt comfortable. All the dishes we ordered were fantastic. The prices were also perfectly reasonable.

It was okay, nothing special. I had a flank steak, which I had expected to be better. My colleague's filet steak was better. The price-performance ratio wasn't great in my opinion. The service was quick and friendly.

We were there for dinner on Friday, December 5, 2025. Although we hadn't made a reservation, we were seated immediately. The drinks arrived quickly, as did the food, which was absolutely delicious and the portion sizes were perfect. The staff were very friendly and efficient – ​​top-notch! The restaurant's ambiance is modern, cozy, and inviting. In short: A thoroughly enjoyable experience that left nothing to be desired. If I'm ever in Dresden again, I'll definitely eat there again!

Sehr leckeres Restaurant, mit freundlichen und zuvorkommenden Service. Einzig die Wartezeit auf das Essen war etwas lang, aber mit einem guten Schluck Wein lässt sich auch das aushalten.

Ontario is always great. Unfortunately, we were at the lower level this time, but that didn't matter. It was my daughter's birthday, and the restaurant was beautifully decorated, as you can specify that when ordering online. What a fantastic restaurant! We were there for lunch on a Sunday. Our server was truly excellent, and the food was outstanding. I could go on and on, but I think "one of the best restaurants I've ever been to" says it all. If you're in Dresden, go to Ontario!

The truffle pasta tasted more like sweet cream than truffle. The baked potato, with its dip, was more reminiscent of remoulade. The vanilla sauce and pancakes seemed to have come from a packet and were frozen solid. The patty on the children's burger was like a small meatball – and even smaller than the bun. Overall, a disappointment in terms of taste.

Unfortunately, my visit to the Ontario Canadian Steakhouse was a huge disappointment. The menu advertised a Wagyu steak, but what I received was just ordinary beef. I felt cheated. Furthermore, the service was very rude and made them feel like they were bothering the customers while they were working. I definitely cannot recommend this restaurant.

We went to the Ontario Steakhouse near the Frauenkirche in Dresden today to celebrate a good friend's 50th birthday – and it was a truly wonderful evening! The service was top-notch: friendly, attentive, warm, yet pleasantly relaxed. We felt completely at home. The food was also outstanding – superb quality, perfectly cooked meat, everything fresh and lovingly presented. You can tell the passion that goes into the work here. The only downside: the restrooms. Unfortunately, they were noticeably dirty – not just from recent guests, but you could tell they hadn't been thoroughly cleaned in a while. That's a shame, because it doesn't fit with the otherwise very positive overall impression. Nevertheless: the service and cuisine were absolutely top-notch, and we had a thoroughly enjoyable evening in a great atmosphere. We'd love to come back – hoping that next time the restrooms will also meet the restaurant's high standards.

Die Reservierung über OpenTable war einfach und auch eine spätere Änderung unkompliziert möglich. Wir waren schon 1 Stunde vor der eigentlichen Reservierungszeit vor Ort und konnten trotzdem gleich da bleiben. Das Servicepersonal war durchgehend freundlich und zuvorkommend. Die Getränke und das Essen waren sehr lecker. Einzig die Preise waren für mein Empfinden etwas zu hoch. Insgesamt aber trotzdem sehr zu empfehlen.

A great location for cool, personalized drinks. A very relaxed, informal atmosphere with super friendly and attentive service and bartenders. No distance is too far, and every wish is happily fulfilled. Max and Jonas, in the lounge on the first floor, are particularly noteworthy. With lots of fun and humor, the two provide an unforgettable experience.

Die schöne obere Etage ist in der Woche leider erst ab 13.00 Uhr geöffnet. Der untere Raum bietet leider kein schönes Ambiente. Das Personal war trotzdem sehr freundlich, konnte 11.00 Uhr dem Wunsch in der oberen Etage zu sitzen so aber leider nicht nachkommen.

The waitress looked like she simply didn't feel like working. No smile, no welcome. Mayo was forgotten in the order. A second waiter was asked to bring a tube of mayo, but he couldn't bring it either and simply forgot. The restaurant industry is overwhelmed by small things. Young people need better or different training.

A wonderfully located establishment across from Dresden's most famous landmark, the Dresden Frauenkirche. However, this establishment is a tourist scam, boasting attractive happy hour prices of €6.50 for an Aperol spritz. Once the bill arrives, the price jumps to €9!! The arrogant waiter wouldn't listen.

Great food. Top-notch taste. The waiters are friendly, they could listen a little better to what you want to drink, but otherwise very nice.

Not even worth a star! We ordered cheesecake, which was absolutely dry and unfortunately tasted bad. The iced coffee tasted like very strong, stale coffee. When we said we didn't like the cake, the response was, "It's just so-so." We still had to pay for everything. Not worth recommending.
