Flammkuchenhaus Saarbrücken in Saarbrücken

Wir haben uns draußen echt wohlgefühlt, besonders wegen dem Charme eines älteren Einrichtungsstils. Leider empfanden wir das Essen nicht ganz so ansprechend wie vor einigen Jahren. Die Flammkuchen waren teilweise wirklich sehr däftig und die Menge an Belag hat teilweise gar nicht gepasst, da viel zu viel drauf war. Geschmacklich war es für uns eine 6/10. Der Service war allerdings echt super, sehr aufmerksam und total lieb!

Ich liebe das Ambiente des Flammkuchenhauses einfach. Die Flammkuchen selbst sind auch super lecker! Allerdings passt für mich die Preisrelation zwischen kleinen und großen Flammkuchen leider nicht.

Wir waren hier schon mehrfach zu Gast, und haben bisher immer gute und leckere Flammkuchen erhalten und gegessen. Die Speisekarte bietet eine ausgiebige Auswahl unterschiedlicher Flammkuchenkreationen, weitestgehend klassisch, ohne größere außergewöhnliche Varianten. Ob mittels AYCE oder a la Carte, man kann hier super mehrere Flammkuchen probieren und verkosten. Die Preise der einzelnen Flammkuchen von guter Größe sowie für AYCE sind in Ordnung. Wirklich schöne Location mit rustikalem Touch, teils jedoch etwas eng, zudem netter kleiner Biergarten. Freundliche Servicekräfte, bisher nie allzu lange Wartezeiten. Weiterempfehlung, um verschiedene Flammkuchen zu essen.

Super Idee und leckeres Essen! Die Rezensionen der Gäste wurden gehört und so gibt es jetzt bequemere Stühle im Restaurant. Ein kleiner Kritikpunkt bleibt die Karte, bei der man sich als Stammgast ein bisschen Abwechslung wünschen würde, werdet da gern mal kreativ und bringt Tagesspecials, saisonale Flammkuchen oder Ähnliches. Ansonsten wirklich gut und wir kommen immer gerne!

Essen war wie immer sehr gut. Service leider eine absolute Katastrophe. Ca. 45 Minuten gewartet, nur um überhaupt eine Bestellung aufgeben zu können. Getränkebestellung wurde ignoriert. Auf Nachfrage, hieß es nur, es wird geprüft. Am Ende wurden die Getränke vergessen und kamen nie an. 2,5 Stunden gebraucht, bis unsere komplette Bestellung serviert wurde. Auch an den Nachbartischen massive Verzögerungen und mehrere Gäste haben sich beschwert. Statt sich zu entschuldigen, kamen Kommentare vom Personal wie „Das ist nicht meine Schuld“, sobald man angesprochen hat, dass alles viel zu lange dauert. Sehr schade, der Service hat den gesamten Abend ruiniert.

Das Essen im Flammkuchenhaus ist lecker und die Auswahl ist gut. Besonders das All-you-can-eat-Angebot hat überzeugt. Leider war nicht jede Servicekraft aufmerksam, und durch einen Wechsel im Service kam es zu längeren Wartezeiten, bis man wieder bemerkt wurde.

Sehr schneller Service heute, sehr aufmerksam und Wartezeiten von 5 Minuten zwischen den Runden.

Update: Es gibt seit unserem letzten Besuch neue Betreiber. Leider haben wir den Service als sehr unfreundlich erlebt. Diee Auswahl und Qualität der Flammkuchen ist nach wie vor gut. Das Craft-Beer aus eigener Herstellung gibt es leider nicht mehr. Einrichtung und Ausstattung wirken deutlich vernachlässigt (Mitte Februar noch Weihnachtsdekoration, mehrere Defekte oder fehlende Glühbirnen, ...). Sehr enge Tische.

Große Auswahl an Flammkuchen sind auch sehr lecker. Personal war auch nett. Am besten die Speisekarte auf der Webseite anschauen.

Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Abend hier. Der Chef hatte uns bedient. Die zweite Bedienung war leider krank. Ich hoffe das hier der Chef wieder Unterstützung bekommt. Trotzdem war der Service sehr aufmerksam. Das Essen war super lecker. Und die Auswahl der Weine war auch sehr lecker. Für 21,90€ bekam man das AllYouCanEat Menu und für 33,90 war sogar der Wein mit im Preis. Der Rest der Getränke war auch auf einem guten Preisniveau. Ich würde aufjedenfall wieder hin. :)

Das Flammkuchenhaus Saarbrücken ist ein nettes, rustikales Restaurant mitten in einem kleinen Wald. Das Interieur hat einen schönen Charme, der leider nicht mit der Kleidung und dem Verhalten des Personals übereinstimmt. Es wirkte träge und unprofessionell, was eine ziemlich verwirrende Atmosphäre schuf. Die Speisekarte fiel mir auf, da ich dort zum ersten Mal ein handelsübliches Supermarktgewürz als Hauptzutat sah. Trotzdem bestellte ich. Der Flammkuchen überraschte mich zunächst positiv mit einem anständigen Boden – knusprig und dünn. Leider wurde dieser Boden jedoch durch den matschigen Belag ruiniert. Anstatt beispielsweise feine Zwiebelstreifen zu schneiden, verwendeten sie riesige Stücke, die, wenig überraschend, nicht einmal annähernd durchgegart waren. Falls Ihre Geschmacksnerven nach ein paar Bissen dieser Zwiebelmasse überhaupt noch verschiedene Aromen unterscheiden können, werden Sie von dem Supermarktgewürz, das die Sache deutlich verbessert, überwältigt. Ich sah, dass sie alle möglichen vorgeschnittenen, in Plastik verpackten Käse- und Fleischscheiben sowie ungewürzte Klumpen gefrorenen Spinats verwendeten. Andererseits glaube ich, dass die Spiegeleier nicht abgepackt bestellt wurden. Vermutlich.

Sehr leckeres Essen und nettes Ambiente. Die Flammenkuchen waren alle hervorragend und Sonderwünsche waren auch möglich. Auf jeden Fall zu empfehlen. Das All You Can Eat rechnet sich erst ab ca. 2 Flammenkuchen pro Person. Das ist echt extrem viel. Da lieber am Tisch mehr bestellen und das dann teilen.

Wir hatten hier vor zwei Wochen Klassentreffen. Das Ambiente ist angenehm. Warme Holzböden und -Wände Das Personal war freundlich, aber etwas überfordert. Jedoch war das Herzstück des Flammkuchens, nämlich der Teig zu trocken und brüchig, das macht auch der gute Belag nicht wett

Wir waren seit langer Zeit wieder dort und müssen sagen, wir waren positiv überrascht. Einige von uns wollten nicht hin weil die Flammkuchen nicht gut belegt sind. Dies war allerdings überhaupt nicht der Fall! Die Flammkuchen waren absolut super belegt und waren super lecker! Wir waren mot 21 Mann dort und werden definitiv zeitnah nochmal kommen! Ein Lob an das Flammkuchen Team weiter so…..

Super delicious! We absolutely love going there. The price/performance ratio is just right! A few seasonal tarte flambées for a change would add a special touch. Especially during wild garlic season, they offer wild garlic, chanterelles, and other options. We'd love to come back.

We were there this week with a larger group. It wasn't that busy, and we still had to wait a relatively long time to even order drinks (it went faster when we left, and the food came quickly, too). We ordered two Cokes and two Zero Cokes, but unfortunately, four Zeros were brought. When I pointed out that mine was Zero, I was told, "That can't be right, I made it myself." Mistakes happen, of course. Nevertheless, this response was completely unacceptable, and I received neither a new drink nor an apology.

Sunday, 4 p.m.: Super friendly AND fast service, passionate chef, delicious tarte flambée (we had five different flavors). We'll definitely be back. :-)

Simply delicious tarte flambée!

It was our first time there. The staff were friendly, the food was excellent and incredibly tasty. I highly recommend it to anyone who loves tarte flambée, with everything from classic tarte flambée to sweet tarte flambée. The atmosphere was truly wonderful; we'll definitely be back!

Four adults and three children of us went to Flammkuchenhaus today. The restaurant was busy. The waitress and chef were very friendly. The wait time was reasonable. You're not on the run, after all. We don't understand the bad reviews.

We had to wait over an hour for our order to be taken, and that was only because we insisted on it. After another half hour, the food and drinks finally arrived. Absolutely not recommended. It wasn't crowded at all; the staff were completely overwhelmed with so few people. The taste was okay.

After 45 minutes without service, we left. We weren't the only ones today. When I pointed out that this was absolutely unacceptable, the employee didn't even look at me. It's a shame! But maybe you shouldn't expect more than that, when the employees are just sitting around having fun together when you arrive for your scheduled appointment. Who could possibly expect to have work to do?

An evening full of surprises – unfortunately, not in a positive sense Our visit, as part of the "all-you-can-eat" offer, turned out to be a rather unforgettable experience – albeit for reasons that had less to do with culinary highlights than with organizational weaknesses. The first order resulted in an incorrect delivery: Instead of the desired combination of salami, Bauernflamm, and Speciale, we received two Speciale and one salami. The second order was correct – a pleasant exception. But the mix-ups continued even after that: On the third round, the "Quattro" contained soft cheese cubes instead of mozzarella, and the apple tarte flambée lacked the advertised Calvados flambé. The attempt to rectify this resulted in a generous shower of alcohol – without any flame at all. On the fourth round, the guests were so unsure of how to use the flambé torch that we, as guests, ultimately had to give instructions to the waiter. Additionally, a conversation with one of the waiters led to a discussion about the size of the tarte flambée, even though the terms and conditions were clearly displayed on the table. A particularly critical moment was the discovery of plastic on one of the tarte flambées, which led to it being returned. The chef's response – "It shouldn't happen, but sometimes it does" – seemed unprofessional and did nothing to defuse the situation. Another employee's attempt to counteract the situation with friendly words was helpful, but unfortunately failed to salvage the overall impression. On the positive side, the tarte flambées were quite tasty – provided they were served correctly. Overall, however, the numerous misunderstandings, errors, and uncoordinated processes significantly marred the restaurant experience.

The quality of the food wasn't particularly good. The service was initially very disorganized but nevertheless very polite. After we returned the food because the tarte flambée was inedible, the waitress was no longer particularly friendly, and we paid for the leftovers.

We ate there today after a walk at Im Almet. The food was delicious and served very quickly. The ambiance could be improved; the outdoor seating cushions were wet. But the staff quickly replaced them. Still, it's recommended as a stop during a walk. Delicious beer list, including Staropramen Dunkel.

The food was very good, which is something you can't say about the waiter. Very rude; thank you and please seemed like foreign words to him. We had to wait forever for our drinks, and he was very annoyed and only came back when we asked if we could get something else. When we paid, we asked him if he knew why we didn't have a tip, and he said he didn't care. We then gave him a tip for a bit more courtesy. It didn't hurt at all. Honestly, with such poor service, we'd rather spend our money on better service in the future.

Rustic restaurant, nice location, very good tarte flambée, reasonable price. With our not very small dog, we got a good table so that he had enough space, and there was also water.

Hello everyone! If you want to eat a nice tarte flambée, you've come to the right place. Very good selection and well documented. There was even something for our children without any problems. The service was really very friendly. Even though it was busy, I was served quickly. The price-performance ratio was really great. I can only recommend it. Which was nice too. The boss came to everyone at the table and asked if everything was OK. He was very friendly and accommodating. Thank you very much

Food was okay except for one tarte flambée... unfortunately there was a hair on it... The outside terrace was very run down, all the chairs and tables were dirty with bird droppings... fresh plates were dirty with old leftovers... Unfriendly staff... clearly not interested in their work.. Long waiting times before you can even order something... then you are told that if there are 4 people, you can order a maximum of 3 tarte flambées per round and you are full by the last tarte flambée and then you have to buy 3 tiny pieces of the leftovers You have to pay an extra €3.50... unfortunately I'm very disappointed with this visit... The outdoor area urgently needs to be cleaned so that you can feel comfortable... the seat cushions are also totally dirty... It's a shame I won't be coming back

The food is really delicious, but the service was very unfriendly and inflexible. The empty glasses were simply cleared away without asking if you wanted anything else. The fact that you MUST order at least 2 large tarte flambée for groups of 4 or more (we also asked for small ones) should also be reconsidered, because if there are more than 2 pieces left over you have to pay for the leftovers. That's fine in itself, but you should then perhaps give the customer the option of ordering smaller amounts. You also have to pay for this leftover if you take the leftovers with you to eat at home later. Apart from the usual polite questions that weren't asked, the service was unfortunately really bad. We don't know if we'll be back, because the food was really delicious.

Food was okay, but the service was overwhelmed, we waited at the checkout for ages and were then called back because we supposedly hadn't paid for 4 drinks. The only problem was that we ordered these drinks, but they never arrived. We've been here several times before, but it got worse with each visit, so this was our last visit here.

In fact, we can't understand the hype at all. I had a Perperoni tarte flambée that was layered with spices. My husband had one with fried eggs, spinach and potatoes. The egg was very, very well done, let's put it that way. The potatoes tasted really old. Well I can't even describe it, I felt the need to throw up, which my husband did. I have no idea why some people are so enthusiastic 🙈 At least the prices are okay😂😂

Food was good. But when we came in, we noticed that almost all of the guests were sitting there with their winter jackets. It was very cold and we couldn't sit there without jackets. When we asked, we were told the heaters were on 5. Yes, but when did they turn it on at 5 p.m. when they opened, then I realize that they have such a large room Can't heat up until 7 p.m. So we don't recommend it in winter because I want to be warm while eating and don't have to sit at the table with a winter jacket.

Were there for the second time. Staff was friendly but a bit slow compared to the first time.

If you make a reservation here, you should definitely call again beforehand. At the end of October we ordered a table for 6 people for January 4th, 2025, which was also confirmed to us. Yesterday, surprisingly, we found ourselves in front of closed doors due to company holidays. The restaurant had my email address and phone number, but unfortunately no one seemed to think it was necessary to cancel us.

When he served the tarte flambée, he “threw” them on the table almost without a word, which unfortunately significantly worsened the overall impression. It's a shame that the friendliness of the staff and the delicious food were overshadowed by such behavior. We would like to see improvements made here, otherwise the restaurant would have great potential. And we sat like chickens on the perch, very tight...

There used to be more choice. Some weren't particularly seasoned. The chili tarte flambée was so hot that you almost couldn't eat it. It was clear to us that it was spicy, but sooo spicy?

Absolutely top. Food was great. You had to call service sometimes. But otherwise absolutely great. I'm thrilled. However, the restaurant is somewhere in the middle of nowhere. If you think that the road has no end and you can get out somewhere else then you are on the right path 😂

Zum letzten Mal dort gewesen! Wir wohnen in der Nähe und essen gern Flammkuchen weshalb wir die Hoffnung nicht aufgeben wollten.. der „Service“ is wirklich übel, man wartet viel zu lange bis man neue Flammkuchen bestellen kann und eine Getränkebestellung aufzugeben ist dort wie ein 6er im Lotto,-unrealistisch! Der ??Oberkellner?? -ein schlecht gelaunter ,wortkarger Miesepeter. Man fühlt sich hier unerwünscht und wie eine Last für den Herrn. Der Oberknaller war beim vorletzten Mal ,als wir zwei Personen und vor uns ebenfalls 2 Personen unangemeldet gekommen sind und fragten ob wir einen Tisch bekommen können und der ?Oberkellner? Völlig entnervt in den fast komplett leeren Gastraum schaut und meint „wieso nischd reserviert?!“ und dann nur grummelt „mitkommen“ und uns an einen Tisch führt .- der Gastraum blieb fast komplett leer an diesem Abend und Personal war so besetzt wie immer!!! Ich bin ein Mensch der immer versucht das Große Ganze zu sehen daher haben wir es ein paar Mal dort probiert aber es bleibt leider mieserrabel . Wenn dann noch bei der dritten Flammkuchen „Runde“ (immer kleine flammkuchen) die Flammkuchen so ungenießbar serviert werden das man sie kaum bzw nicht essen kann nur damit man uns die „Strafe“ abziehen kann , ist das Fass übergelaufen. Also alles in allem echt bescheiden! (Um jetzt nicht in die Fäkalsprache abzudriften) Nie wieder 😁

Nach der Zuweisung an unseren Tisch konnten wir schnell Getränke und Essen bestellen. Die Bedienung war jedoch nicht kompetent und das „servieren“ von Getränken war nicht vorhanden. Danach wurden wir sehr lange auf dem trockenen Sitzen gelassen. Eine Bestellung von Getränken war nahezu unmöglich… Nach der ersten Runde wurden die Abstände immer länger. Der letzte war komplett überladen und überwürzt. Nahezu ungenießbar. Es gab einem das Gefühl, dass es Absicht war. Als wir einen Teil ( 4 St. & 2 St. ) zurückgegeben haben, kam die Aufforderung Restegeld zu zahlen. Wir haben daraufhingewiesen, dass der Flammkuchen nicht zu genießen war. Es kam nur ein Axelzucken und der Betrag wurde berechnet. Der Hugo hatte ein tief schwarzes Minzblatt als „Deko“. Nach dem Bezahlen wurde nicht einmal Auf Wiedersehen gesagt…

One star for the ambience and for the service, one waiter was ok but in a bad mood, the other was very friendly and always smiled :) there were 12 of us girls and there was no problem with the service here, the drinks were quite ok. But what happened to the tarte flambées?!! None of us liked them, and neither did the sweet ones. I just tried mine and left it alone. I used to eat there several times and it was great, so I recommended it to my colleagues, but that was really nothing. The fact that you have to wait in line for 12 people to pay at the checkout is really poorly organized, but there was a group in front of us who were also 10 people, so it felt like they waited 30 minutes to pay, that was really stupid. Sorry but 0 stars for the food. We're definitely not coming back.

If I could, I would rate it 0 stars. Unfortunately it's no longer what it used to be! We have been coming to the Flammkuchenhaus regularly for several years and each time it has a new owner. Impression from tonight: there is hardly any topping left on the tarte flambée, the male employees are quite unfriendly and clearly don't want their job! Pretty much everything was done at the oven except tarte flambée, some of the tarte flambée came from the kitchen. The guests' wishes weren't really taken into account, you had to order drinks several times until they finally arrived (but the drinks that never came were of course on the bill :D). Recently you have to pay an extra €1 per scoop of ice cream, which we were only sweetly informed of after the second round. Small tarte flambées for 4 people or more can no longer be ordered (for organizational reasons? wtf?) It's a shame what happened to the shop, we'll never come back.

An absolute must visit if you are in Saarbrücken. The selection is huge and the tarte flambées taste simply great. An absolute recommendation!

Food is great. Unfortunately the waiting time was too long and the service was very unfriendly, especially towards children.

There were 7 of us there for the all you can eat, and our table was largely ignored. In total we were there for 2 1/2 hours, hardly noticed by the waitress (we had to write the order down on the notepad because we weren't understood) and received a total of 13 tarte flambées, two of which arrived incorrectly and were not ordered at all. It would have been cheaper if we paid à la carte, but we were refused. Definitely not a recommendation, if not all you can eat! When it came to change, I was initially given back €5 short and when I pointed this out I was insulted.

I used to really enjoy going to the Flammkuchenhaus. Today is probably the last time. I wasn't aware that the owners had changed. But when you greeted us you noticed that something was different. I have rarely seen anything as unfriendly as this man. I thought... Because then waitress number two can... No hello, nothing... So we ordered, drinks and food came very quickly, but the restaurant was extremely empty at 8:30 p.m. for a Saturday evening . Some tarte flambées are so overloaded with potatoes that you can't eat any more after one tarte flambée, so all you can eat is definitely no longer worth it. Because there are only big tarte flambées and no one can do that. Reordering was difficult because you had to beg for the waiter's attention every time. When we wanted to pay, we were rudely told that we should do it at the checkout, while other guests were allowed to pay at the table. So we went to the checkout, the conditions were sitting there at the next table and we must have already called it a day because no one noticed us until the boss came out of the kitchen. Then, in our presence, he reminded his employees that he was paying four people and three were sitting around here. That probably annoyed the ladies a bit, because they then asked each other what had happened to him and why he was in such a bad mood now. This evening was more than unpleasant for us. Some of the benches in the dining room are so worn out, the leather is cracked and everything looks careless. I am appalled at how a restaurant that has enjoyed so many years of fame can be treated like this. Too bad. That was our last visit.

A lot has changed, it was actually better. Before you could order small portions and didn't have to order 4 large portions. And what I also found outrageous was that you had to order large drinks. The rules are from 4 people. And why are children up to 11 years old only allowed to eat for free on Sundays? The service wasn't exactly friendly either.

The Flammkuchenhaus in Saarbrücken is perfect for spending a relaxing afternoon/evening with friends. The all-you-can-eat tarte flambée is particularly recommended. You can really order ANY tarte flambée that's on the menu here. With a price of around €25, it's just about reasonably priced. The staff was quick and attentive, the food was delicious. The location is a bit remote, but therefore very idyllic. The furnishings could be improved a bit - especially in the outside area.

The ambience in the Flammkuchenhaus can be improved, many of the furnishings seem worn, some of the benches on the terrace are wobbling, the roofs are full of moss, some care would be in order here. The menu offers a really large selection of tarte flambées, most of which taste very good. The all you can eat tarte flambée is particularly recommended. Price-performance is still okay, but it shouldn't be more expensive (€25 per person for the all you can eat on the weekend). The staff is friendly and quick. There are enough parking spaces available.

Anyone who likes nature, wants to stop off with children and dogs and likes rustic furnishings is well served here. Friendly, attentive service, fast food delivery, freshly prepared, all you can eat, sufficient for even very hungry mouths. Nobody leaves here hungry

The tarte flambées were good. It is also child-friendly. Only the playground or what was left of it was in a very poor and unkempt condition. And that's a nice description of what was found there. This requires care and renewal.

Were there yesterday with four people around 9 p.m.! We hadn't made a reservation, the restaurant was half empty and there were a few seats available. An employee promptly came and we asked if there was still room and he said yes, but no more all you can eat!! Although it is open until 11 p.m. and this is used for advertising!!!! But we asked again because it is open until 11 p.m. and that is what they advertise, and there is no time-limited note on the website about the all you can eat time!!!! The gentleman said there was no longer an all you can eat option, only from the menu! That was his reasoning 👍 Then you shouldn't advertise it👍 We drove straight back and looked for another restaurant.

A large selection of savory and sweet tarte flambées. Because of the “all you can eat” option, you don’t have to commit yourself. The price-performance ratio is great. I can only recommend.

If you like eating a lot of tarte flambée you should definitely try out the tarte flambée house. The tarte flambées are very well topped and the dough is very well made. There is a choice of 3 tarte flambées per order for 4 people. The selection is huge and there is something for every taste. Price/performance is OK. Highly recommended.

I can no longer recommend the Flammkuchenhaus. I enjoyed visiting there over the years, but now the quality has deteriorated so much that I won't go there anymore. The tarte flambées are now so heavily topped that a crispy dough is hardly possible. Especially when you look at the tarte flambées with potatoes, you get the impression that they are being topped with so much potatoes so that the guests are full as quickly as possible. With chili tarte flambée, the dough is spread with chopped peppers as if it were creme fraiche. This makes the tarte flambée extremely sour in taste and completely inedible. Nevertheless, we had to pay 3.50 euros extra (for an uneaten tarte flambée). It's a shame, a formerly well-run restaurant is now heading towards the abyss.

Ambience and location are great! Staff and service very nice. When we made the reservation online, our seating requests were taken into account. You can sit outside even when it rains because there is a covered area. Even with higher visitor numbers, you don't have to wait an inhumanly long time for your food. We tried all you can eat on the menu. And everything really tasted good. We will be back definitely. Only points of criticism: The topping is very central, so that the edges are sometimes completely without topping on large pieces. And the fact that ice cream and flambéing on the sweet tarte flambée costs extra at all you can eat could be written on the menu for transparency. All in all really good 👍

So I have to say it was a real stroke of luck! Super nice and fast service! I thought the tarte flambée was great, crispy and tasty. The ambience suffers a bit from the A6, but not very disturbing.

We were present with a larger group. Weather was perfect for enjoying outside. Positive: -ambience -Map clear -friendly staff Negative: -Drinks from other table on the bill (still paid for) -too many different assumptions from the staff (orders were sometimes forgotten) -An explanation for all you can eat should be made (not just afterwards) All in all a great evening. Still some room for improvement.

All you can eat takes 30 minutes per round. With 5 people you can eat 3 tarte flambées per round. This means you need 4 rounds to get the price of 20 euros per person. So if you have 2 hours to spare, don't feel full quickly and like mediocre tarte flambée, you should go here.

My last visit to the Flammkuchenhaus was on April 14th, 2024 and there were no more customers, only me and a friend were still in the Flammkuchenhaus. And they continued to serve us until the end, didn't throw us out or anything and also told us to take our time. Food is very tasty and service is also very good and friendly. I can only recommend it.

The driveway was...interesting. Also finding a parking space. The parking options are very limited, so I basically had to park “on the driveway”. The service was very friendly and accommodating. The food was also brought quickly. Unfortunately, the base of the tarte flambée was rather soft and reminded me more of pizza base. The coating was almost entirely in the middle, so there were a few dry pieces left at the edge without any coating. All in all, the taste was okay.

I gave a 5 star review 6 years ago and thought I would come back after a long time. I didn't realize the ownership had changed. There used to be home-brewed beer and the tarte flambées were always very tasty. Now I was there at the end of March 2024 and am very disappointed... the base is no longer tenderly crumbly as it used to be, some of it is badly burnt, most of the toppings no longer taste good, for example. the salmon, the spinach, my beloved camembert/cranberries were just sweet... The base is more chewy than crispy, very unseasoned and, in contrast to the old owner, you can tell that it is cheap salami and generally no longer use high-quality ingredients. The waitress always had to be called and was a bit overwhelmed. Friendlier and more open would be good. We're definitely not coming anymore. Unfortunately.

After a long search for restaurants that were open on the Easter weekend, we finally found what we were looking for in the Flammkuchenhaus. The tarte flambées had a perfectly crispy but wafer-thin base and were perfectly balanced with toppings 👌The service team was super friendly, accommodating and had an infectiously good mood 🙃 Absolutely recommended!

To be honest, I have to say it's subpar compared to before. I did eat it, but according to the motto you have to pay anyway, but there's no comparison in terms of taste. Service ok but not outstanding, orders are taken but not the friendliest. Well, all in all, I can't recommend it anymore.

Great restaurant, we were there for the second time. Like the first time, the food was very tasty and we didn't have to wait long. The serving was very attentive and friendly. Nice service, very tasty tarte flambée

We were guests in the Flammkuchenhaus with 6 people. The female service that served us at the beginning was very friendly but the male service was an absolute disgrace. Is visibly annoyed and incredibly unfriendly when you want to order further rounds or drinks. During our sweet and final tarte flambée, he carelessly slammed the tarte flambée onto the table and threw the menu and its holder off the table. The crowning moment came when paying. Two of us left half an hour before us but we can prove that we paid for both of our all you can eat and drinks with the bill. The other 4 of us then paid in groups of two. When we wanted to pay for the last two all you can eat and drinks, the gentleman wanted to give us a 7th all you can eat. He said it wasn't his friends who hadn't paid beforehand and started discussing. When I became louder and more assertive and made it clear to him that I would not pay 7. All you can eat and that I would not discuss it with him, he aggressively typed in our drinks and All you can eat and we paid. He became incredibly unprofessional in his words and tone and at the end he said: "He'll pay for it out of his pocket"! So it's a total impudence to react like that and make such statements when it's proven that an attempt is being made to charge a 7th all you can eat even though everyone has paid their appropriate amounts. If you read the reviews below, it wasn't the first time an attempt was made to charge for another all you can eat even though this didn't work. That was the last time we all visited this restaurant...

The staff was super friendly and it never took long until a new round of tarte flambée arrived.
