I ate at Five Guys for the first time in London years ago. There was great anticipation when it opened in Aachen. Unfortunately the quality doesn't match the quality we're used to in England. The burger is tasty, but the ingredients ordered are often missing and the fries are rather lukewarm. The shakes are recommended, but overall you pay significantly more for fast food than with the competition.

For 20 euros I got a paper bag full of fries and sauce, A hamburger wrapped in aluminum foil. and a drink. The fries are by far the bad part That I have ever eaten. The hamburger was edible, But fell apart into its components too quickly... The atmosphere reminds me of a butcher shop

We ordered food at 8:30 p.m. The stated arrival time was pushed back four times. At exactly 10:15 p.m. - when the food was supposed to have arrived - we received the message that the order had been canceled without giving a reason. Of course, at this point all alternatives had already closed. If the store can't deliver, it's better to cancel right away. We lack any understanding for something like this.

Best burgers, good bacon, worth the price in my opinion.

Ordered two burgers 🍔, paid €30, the bun was cold, the meat was only lukewarm, the ingredients were thrown out, everything was overflowing, I got a bad stomach ache at home in the evening, it wasn't worth it

I was there today with my work colleague. We were absolutely thrilled! The burger was simply delicious and one of the best I've had so far! The fries were also very, very tasty. A small portion is huge and was completely enough for me. The lady behind the counter was super friendly and explained our options to us very well. When we are in Aachen, you will always have us as customers. Tomorrow we'll come by and try the milkshakes :)

The fries are very good they give a lot of fries, the burger is very smooth and delicious. The empolies were very nice, and it was clean.

Burger was good, although a little pepper and salt would have been good. It's good that you can choose the toppings yourself. The biscot-bacon milkshake was surprisingly good.

First time I eat at a Five Guys and it was worth it. The burger I had was really really good, I enjoyed every bite.

The quality of the food is quite good, but the price-performance ratio does not match. In Aachen you can get much better burgers with side dishes for less money.

I've never paid 27 euro for the world smallest burger and burned frites thrown in a greasy paper bag. Do your self a favour and go to the Neighbors and get some real food. They don't even deserve to be compared to the "good" quality of Macdonalds

Very simple red and white decor with close seating. There are not many dishes on the menu, but there is a large selection of different things to choose from. A bit like Subway, only with burgers, sandwiches and hot dogs. Once you understand the concept, it's really easy and ordering goes smoothly.

Too expensive for portions that are too small

Just ate here, very friendly staff. The burgers are tasty, but the fries are excellent. The last time I ate such good fries in the USA. Absolute recommendation

Food is good, best fastfood from a franchise chain. 55€ for whats on the picture is very expensive. The restaurant was empty. My daughter made a drawing and hung it on the wall (which is very nice and warming) we will come again when we saved up enough money ;)

Perfect burgers and great service, plus there are vending machines that are unique in Europe, the only minus is the high prices, but it's still worth it

The cheeseburger wasn't really filling but it was tasty

Hot dog. 1 pathetic weenie and cut in half too. Very small. Taste was okay. Fries are fresh but that's about it. Soft and squishy. Burger was also small. Sandwich not even toasted. Only good thing was the drinks. 40 euros for 2 people. We say eat it here. It was still packed. You'll never see me there again

It's not cheap and not really inexpensive, but it's delicious! And (secret) tip: the SMALL portion of French fries is more than enough for the average "eater" in combination with a standard cheeseburger. Including soft drinks, you'll quickly end up with double the bill of other large burger chains, but...it's also twice as tasty. The ambience has something of a “slaughterhouse” or “operating room”; But I wouldn't go out for a fancy meal here anyway; so it's a minor matter. The staff were very friendly; The selection of soft drinks is huge. 😋...so then: MEAL!

The burger is great! The fries cost over €7 for 0.2 cups, but if they're still cold in the bag, then that's completely wrong. Oh yes, I would like a person at the counter who can speak at least English, if not German 😫 I wanted to give feedback via InvoiceQR, but that wasn't possible. LG

Pretty average Five Guys, burgers are made fresh, the cajun fries tasted great. All in all, not bad.

Are you tired of bland burgers with dry, hard buns and full of salad and weird sauces? Do you want a real American burger? Then you have to try these. Don’t expect a healthy meal because that’s not what they offer, it’s pure meat and fat flavor. Delicious for when you crave a real burger without pretensions. It would be great if they offered a home delivery service in the dutch limburg area.

Картофеля фри наложили очень много, мы даже не весь его съели, еще был очень вкусный молочный коктейль, на много вкуснее, чем в макдональдс. Единстенное, что не понравилось, это хот дог, сосиска была не вкусная, не стали давать его пятилетнему ребенку.

An absolute disappointment. The the taste fell far below my expectations. The burgers lacked the deliciousness I anticipated, and for the cost, I expected much better. Overall, the combination of high prices and underwhelming flavor left me regretting my choice to dine at Five Guys (more than once).

Man merkt dass sich dieser Burger qualitativ von anderen Fast Food ketten wie Mc Donalds oder Burger King deutlich abhebt. Preislich jedoch etwas teuer in meinen Augen.

Waren hier zum ersten und vermutlich auch letzten Mal. Die Burger und die Pommes waren okay. Allerdings. Ist dass Essen viel zu teuer. Ein Burger mit Pommes und Cola hat fast 22€ gekostet und das ist es beim besten Willen nicht wert. Das Ambiente ist jetzt mit jede Menge Kartoffelsäcken und Tonnenweise Frittierfett im Gastraum auch nur so okay.

J'ai récemment visité Five Guys Aachen l'atmosphère du lieu était décontractée et conviviale, le personnel était sympathique, les burgers étaient délicieux et préparés avec des ingrédients de qualité et les frites étaient fraîches et croustillantes, les portions étaient généreuses, offrant un bon rapport qualité-prix. De plus, le service était rapide. Je recommande vivement cet endroit !

Dreckig .....das gesamte Lokal, selbst im Küchenbereich. Burger war sehr schlecht. Nicht aufgegessen. Pommes matschig. Also kulinarisch schlechter als McD. Das will was heißen. Dafür doppelt so teuer. 2x kleine Pommes mit 1 Hamburger fast 19€ . Personal laut und unfreundlich. Ich bin geheilt.....nie wieder!

Spartanisch ausgestattet, keine Wohlfühlatmosphäre, ständig wurde irgendjemand ausgerufen...störendes Konzept. Das leckere Essen hätte eine andere Atmosphäre verdient.

It’s exactly what it says it is. I read some reviews and thought ‘can it be this bad?’ No, it’s nothing like the negative reviews say, and to the reviewer who asked “who will occupy this space in a year’s time?” well, it’s 5 Guys. The restaurant was spotlessly clean, despite being just after the evening rush, service was fast, polite and professional. The burger was moist and very tasty, the fries crisp and fresh - nothing sitting under hot lamps for ages, the jalapeños crisp and spicy. Well worth it.

Wir waren unter der Woche bei Five Guys Aachen mit unserem Sohn. Die Burger wurden frisch zubereitet unf haben gut geschmeckt - Pluspunkt war aufjedenfall das Kinderstühle vor Ort waren. So konnte unser kleiner mit am Tisch sitzen. Die Pommes waren so lala aber ganz ok. Die Dame im Service war freundlich und erklärte einem wie man den Burger zusammen setzen kann und wo was zu finden ist. (SELFSERVICE MAYO ETC ) Milchshake zum stolzen Preis hat auch geschmeckt.

Warum wird alles zum mitnehmen verpackt, auch wenn man vor Ort ist? Müll ohne Ende! Ich hab auch keine Lust da mit einer Papiertüte zu sitzen. Ist vielleicht in den USA cool. Wir haben 2023?! Tabletts gab es auch keine. Die Burger sind lecker, aber teuer und es gab zu wenig Soße wie Mayo. Insgesamt etwas chaotisch.

Warum werde ich gefragt, ob ich im "Restaurant" essen will? Egal, wie ich mich entscheide, ich sitze da und esse aus einer Papiertüte. Richtig gemütlich. Die Burger sind absolut überteuert für die Größe und Qualität. Über 30 Euro für zwei Burger, Pommes und Cola bei Niveau knapp über McDoof. Der Bestellvorgang ist unnötig kompliziert und der Laden ungemütlich und nicht so sauber, wie es im Lebensmittelbereich erforderlich wäre. Da koch ich lieber selber.

Das erst Mal bei Five Guys und ich kann es nur weiterempfehlen. Der Burger war sehr sehr lecker und man hat eine tolle Auswahl an Toppings. Vor allem aber war das Personal sehr sehr freundlich. Das Restaurant selber hatte eine insgesamt sehr tolle Atmosphäre. Das Highlight ist auf jeden Fall das nachfüllen der Getränke und die Getränkeauswahl an Sorten (zb Cola, Fanta) die man nirgendwso anderst finden kann.

This Five Guys is great to have in Aachen. It is unfortunate that finding people to work is so hard these days. It is not the fault of the people working there, so please keep this in mind. I will eat here again, and the food, minus the mistakes was still great. The awesome soda vending machines are present and in full effect. The American style shakes as well. This is Five Guys. The issues? Shakes were made and ready 20+ minutes before the food was ready. They sat at the shake machine for that amount of time instead of being given out to the customer already. Melted liquefied shake is just not necessary. At the Five Guys in the Centro a regular fry is more than 4 people can eat. Here it was barely enough for one person. The rest of the negatives have to do with a breakdown in the Five Guys system which pretty much makes it impossible to screw up the burger and fries. For there to be issues, the system is not being correctly utilized. (most likely due to a shortage of personnel) Toppings were either very little or completely over the top (2 small piece of grilled onion, but 9 pickle slices) and in some cases missing. (no bacon on a little bacon cheeseburger for example). I did not complain in the store, because they were swamped and I could see they were doing the best they could. However, for the prices, these mistakes, which are easily avoided by just following the system, should not happen even with only 2 people working. I would much rather wait longer for the correct order than get the incorrect order faster. Most people paying these prices probably would feel the same way. All of this said, eat here! I want Five Guys to stay in Aachen. Because Aachen is better with a Five Guys, end of the story. Last ding: There was no soap in the bathroom. Customers using the bathroom could not clean their hands. We are all human. The staff was short. But this is still what it is. Hopefully this helps management to prioritize efforts despite the crazy amount of customers. Please understand this is meant as positive feedback and not bashing.
