Five Guys Aachen in Aachen

I just went to Five Guys in Europe for the first time – classic burger and fries. The fries were really great, just as you'd expect. The burger itself was very good and cooked exactly as ordered. However, it's worth noting: the EU version isn't as "intense" as in the US. There, you get the full package – buns with malt syrup, significantly more fat in the meat, and generally a more intense, heavier fast-food experience. Here in Europe, everything is noticeably toned down: a bit "healthier" (despite it being fast food), but also less juicy and less "punchy." The bottom line: solid, tasty, good quality – but if you're expecting the US Five Guys experience, you'll get a toned-down version here, in accordance with regulations.

We had already tried Five Guys in other countries and it's almost the same here: super good, fast service, beautiful decor and even if the prices are high, we get by for €18 per person with good quantities. The prices were outrageous back when McDonald's and fast food restaurants had menus for less than €10. Today it's worth paying €4-5 more for better meat and better fries.

In my opinion, Five Guys is the upscale cousin of the regular fast-food chain. Everything tastes a little better, looks a little fresher, and you almost feel like you're eating something healthy. The burgers are excellent: juicy, full of flavor, and you choose which vegetables go on top, so you have complete control over how "healthy" you make it. We went for the refillable drink option, and that was a mini-adventure in itself. Sprite Vanilla? Pretty unusual, but if you ever want to know what the American dream tastes like, definitely give it a try. It's not the cheapest fast-food option, but for the quality and the experience, you get your money's worth. Definitely worth it if you want to take your fast-food to the next level!

Everything was great! The burgers are delicious. I think you should like burgers with lots of extras. All burgers cost €13.50, regardless of toppings.

A branch of the well-known chain. I was very satisfied; the burgers and fries were excellent! I like that the burgers are wrapped in aluminum foil. If you only unwrap half of the burger, it stays in shape while eating, and the other side doesn't fall out completely. It's also easier to grip that way—everything's fine.

Best burgers globally. Very tasty at a reasonable price. The burgers are more expensive then at other places, but they are also bigger and tastier. Cajun fries are great and you can try the peanuts while waiting for the burgers. Try the shakes too!!!

The best fast-food burgers by far. Very nice, friendly, clean, and above all, delicious! My absolute favorite food spot in Aachen. You order a small fries and get a large portion. Everything is fresh and delicious!

We ordered three burgers and fries from Uber Eats. The burgers were cold and soggy, and the fries were carelessly thrown into a paper bag. Maybe it was the ordering service, but unfortunately, it wasn't good.

The fries were particularly tasty, the burgers were very dry and not crispy enough for a smash style burger. The atmosphere is authentic American and the historical site in the basement is a nice bonus.

We went there for the first time today and I especially enjoyed it. My girlfriend thought the fries were too soft, but I pointed out to her that they were fresh fries, not frozen crap. All I can say to most people here is stick to McDonald's or Burger King, you have no idea. Five Guys is for people who value quality and are happy to pay a little more for it. Everything here is fresh and the quality of the meat particularly stands out. Every topping is free. You can refill your drink of choice as often as you like, as well as the mayo and ketchup. And if you want, you can also snack on free peanuts. The basic double cheeseburger with pickles, ketchup and onions tasted amazing. The meat was aromatic, tender and juicy, the pickles provided a veritable explosion of flavor and the fries were incredibly delicious. You'd pay €20 for a burger like that elsewhere and it wouldn't taste as good as here. One star deducted for cleanliness, as that's where it's lacking because the tables were sticky.

This is the best hamburger I've ever eaten, and it's so good I think it might even be number 1 in the world.

Probably the slowest touch screen system I’ve ever seen: like you have to wait literally 5-6 seconds after every click. Also, in dire need of a revamp.

The taste is average. The Paris and London branches are much tastier.

Super warm welcome. The cashier was super nice, super patient even though we were a group out, so we were super busy. The visitors spoke good English, and the food was good. I had a milkshake, and it was delicious!

Five guys is like the iphone of restaurants, overpriced but they know people will buy it. (Please for the love of EVERYTHING bring back popcorn milkshake flavor!!!!!)

The food itself is okay, but the prices are very unrealistic and don't reflect the quality of the food. Far too expensive! I feel like I only paid for the name.

The burger was delicious. Had a bacon cheeseburger. The bacon was very hard in places. Too expensive for the quality. Standard ketchup, mayo, BBQ sauce. Fresh jalapenos, not pickled. My stomach can handle it better. The Cajun fries are awesome!

Burger is good, but fries is too salty. Service is awful. When I responded with “Excuse me?” after being asked “For here or to go?” in German, the staff member reacted with a visibly dismissive expression. Aachen is a boarder city where one would naturally expect a degree of openness and flexibility toward international visitors.

Finger weg von den Pommes die sind absolute Katastrophe und nicht nur der Geschmack sondern auch der preis von über 8 euro für ne labrige Pommes Portion . Ich war heute zum ersten mal bei fiveguy und war sehr gespannt wie das Essen schmeckt ich muss leider sagen ich bin absolut unzufrieden mit dem Ergebnis wir haben 40 Euro für 2 cheasburger 1 Pommes und 1 mischshake bezahlt das Ergebnis was erschreckend. Die kleine Pommes Portion die über 8 Euro gekostet hast waren weder gesalzen noch knusprig im Gegenteil labrige und ungenießbar. Die cheasburger waren nicht gesalzen das einzige was man geschmeckt hat waren die Soßen und der Käse (traurig). Der mischshake war das einzige genießbar was wir bekommen haben dazu muss man sagen das es auch nicht wirklich supper geschmeckt hat. Bin leider absolut erschrocken von der Qualität und den Preisen einfach nur unverschämt macht nicht den gleich Fehler wie wir uns geholt lieber was anständiges essen. Lg

The bacon cheeseburger was tasty and large in size. But the fries were totally over salted. You can only get the food in-house in a paper bag, which you then have to tear open and use as a plate or tray. Overall, the store didn't convince me with a meal price of just over €20 including a drink.

Five Guys gives you a pretty authentic American FastFood joint experience. Good burger from the plate, I like it all with some extra jalapeno and onion. The fries are nice with skin and freshly cut. Tip because I have been here a few times before; you get quite a lot of fries; small portion is enough for most people! And lots of options when it comes to drinking; real coca cola with flavors that you hardly see anywhere in restaurants. You eat with your hands, so bring extra napkins! The service is; assemble, collect yourself with your receipt. So exactly what it should be. The atmosphere is also typical of a typical American fast food joint; fairly bare, but efficient. Great if you just want to enjoy a nice juicy burger every now and then.

This is a place with such tasty hamburgers. Comparing to McDonald’s you can choose add 15 ingredients to the hamburger, and the taste will be similar to American canteen.

Not special, more expensive than a Burger King and not better. Fries were tasty, burger nothing special. Burgers seemed salt free. Place was very noisy. Fluorescent beams also don't provide much atmosphere. Sorry, dreary, only the archaeological finds in the basement near the toilets were interesting and atmospheric.

Best burgers in Aachen! If you want a delicious cheeseburger without a lot of frills then fiveguys is the best place to go. I admit it's a little more expensive but for me it's worth it every time.

Nice, especially very clean restaurant. Food was prepared quickly and tasted great. Services was also good. Price is a bit on the higher side for a fast food chain, but you know that when you go to a lesser-known chain. I was mainly looking at how neat it was inside. Those of the big M can make a point of that.

The food was quite tasty. The service was super bad. We wanted to have 2 citizens, but 3 were credited at the checkout. When we noticed the error immediately, according to the employee it was not possible to change it. The citizens weren't even in the process of preparing it. So we had to pay a citizen that we hadn't even ordered. The atmosphere was a bit noisy. Wouldn't go there anymore.

The service team was super friendly, despite the stress. The food is not mine. Just under €10 for a burger that tastes like nothing but fat and €8 for a few fries in a cup. There are no tablets, so you get everything in a paper bag. The prices are completely excessive for the taste. Then rather Sausalitos and you get one a few thalers more better food.

Everything that matters: Always (!) fresh ingredients, from the bun to the patty, always equally tasty, and always more fries in the bag than ordered. It's cheaper, but not better.

Gisterenmiddag hebben we hier gegeten. Beiden 1 hamburger met diverse toppings. Heerlijk. We hadden 1 medium friet, meer dan voldoende. De milkshake aardbei smaakte ook lekker. Niet goedkoop, wel veel lekkerder dan van andere fastfood ketens.

My visit to Five Guys was simply amazing! The food was absolutely perfect – fresh, delicious and exactly how I imagined it. But what really made my visit memorable was the exceptional service. The checkout staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. They patiently explained everything to me and even spoke to me in French, which really impressed me. It made me feel like I was in my home country, which made the experience even better.

Unfortunately, Five Guys didn't convince me. The food was overpriced and the burgers and fries were simply too oily, so the taste suffered. For the price I would have expected much more. Overall unfortunately disappointing.

I really like the concept of Five Guys and at the branch in Aachen we have never been disappointed by the quality of the food and the friendliness of the employees.

Visited at the Christmas market, burgers are prepared smashed and mixed with the remains of the previous burgers... The young man who worked at the grill had an apron on that looked like it had never been washed! Well, what can you say... Bunds are much too soft... falls apart after the first bite, unfortunately there is no cutlery but the taste is ok... The price for three burgers of almost 40 euros is way too expensive! There are definitely lots of napkins... in case you have to go to the toilet!!! There's no toilet paper there and it looks like a train station toilet!!! Just disgusting! And no guests had to pay 1 euro to visit this place!!! What can you say I wouldn't recommend the store! Furthermore, I would agree with other reviews: communication between colleagues was difficult...

As a first-time offender at Five Guys, I unfortunately have to say “never again”. Not only did the staff look bored, they also served me that way. The something produced in the aluminum foil was probably the hot dog I had ordered. All in all, it's still quite expensive. The room itself is a bit impersonal. The only interesting thing here is an Aachen window into the past in the basement, also somewhat unworthy, in front of the access to the toilets

I ate at Five Guys for the first time in London years ago. There was great anticipation when it opened in Aachen. Unfortunately the quality doesn't match the quality we're used to in England. The burger is tasty, but the ingredients ordered are often missing and the fries are rather lukewarm. The shakes are recommended, but overall you pay significantly more for fast food than with the competition.

For 20 euros I got a paper bag full of fries and sauce, A hamburger wrapped in aluminum foil. and a drink. The fries are by far the bad part That I have ever eaten. The hamburger was edible, But fell apart into its components too quickly... The atmosphere reminds me of a butcher shop

We ordered food at 8:30 p.m. The stated arrival time was pushed back four times. At exactly 10:15 p.m. - when the food was supposed to have arrived - we received the message that the order had been canceled without giving a reason. Of course, at this point all alternatives had already closed. If the store can't deliver, it's better to cancel right away. We lack any understanding for something like this.

Ordered two burgers 🍔, paid €30, the bun was cold, the meat was only lukewarm, the ingredients were thrown out, everything was overflowing, I got a bad stomach ache at home in the evening, it wasn't worth it

I was there today with my work colleague. We were absolutely thrilled! The burger was simply delicious and one of the best I've had so far! The fries were also very, very tasty. A small portion is huge and was completely enough for me. The lady behind the counter was super friendly and explained our options to us very well. When we are in Aachen, you will always have us as customers. Tomorrow we'll come by and try the milkshakes :)

Very simple red and white decor with close seating. There are not many dishes on the menu, but there is a large selection of different things to choose from. A bit like Subway, only with burgers, sandwiches and hot dogs. Once you understand the concept, it's really easy and ordering goes smoothly.

Food is good, best fastfood from a franchise chain. 55€ for whats on the picture is very expensive. The restaurant was empty. My daughter made a drawing and hung it on the wall (which is very nice and warming) we will come again when we saved up enough money ;)

It's not cheap and not really inexpensive, but it's delicious! And (secret) tip: the SMALL portion of French fries is more than enough for the average "eater" in combination with a standard cheeseburger. Including soft drinks, you'll quickly end up with double the bill of other large burger chains, but...it's also twice as tasty. The ambience has something of a “slaughterhouse” or “operating room”; But I wouldn't go out for a fancy meal here anyway; so it's a minor matter. The staff were very friendly; The selection of soft drinks is huge. 😋...so then: MEAL!
