Expensive but very good food. Of course, you don't eat here every week and come for the atmosphere. Can recommend the octopus and the matcha croissant ice cream. I would avoid the dumplings or gyoza, they were boring/tasteless and absolutely not worth the 17 euros. The staff was attentive and pleasantly friendly. Would come again.

Pretty impressive prices for a relatively unimpressive experience! First of all, obviously Munich and its price level, but for starters ~20 euros and main courses ~40 euros (plus side dish) you would expect a little more than average. Dumblings and salmon sashimi had to make do with a common sauce, not an unusual creation but a small dip from the soy bottle in the bowl provided. The side dish for the sashimi was a mix of raw vegetables with no or minimal dressing or dressing, luckily there was still some soy sauce left. The dumblings were hard and boring inside. The main course was an entrecote, admittedly good, but after salt came out of the black pepper shaker and the white salt shaker in both cases, it was oversalted. Service was very nice and well represented, but it was still strange that there were five different people serving your table in just one evening and you were generally only noticed by chance. No real concept to be seen. A greeting from the kitchen without explanation and all in all an experience that I would like to do without in the future. The restaurant is still well attended and the view is impressive!

A cosy and warm place to enjoy excellent food (shout out to the Macadamia-Oktopus a delight from start to finish). Cocktails are the icing on the cake to accompany you through your meal. Most scenic view of the city, especially after night fall. I will definitely come back with more company. Heartful thanks to Alessia of the singing voice who catered to us and was absolutely lovely and most patient with poor German speakers.

One floor above the bar in the Fitzroy is the rooftop bar. Here you can enjoy the breathtaking view of Munich's Werksviertel and the sunset while having drinks. You get your drinks at the bar and look for one of the nice seats. The Rofftopbar is relatively small. So you have to be there early to get a spot. We were lucky enough to be able to enjoy our cocktails in nice weather with fantastic views and even a DJ. We'd love to come back

A really very modern and stylish bar in the Adina Hotel - here you have an incredibly beautiful view over Munich. The cocktails and long drinks are prepared very professionally, even that is a small highlight. Not to forget there is a small rooftop bar one floor up, which is also absolutely great.

Today I wanted to reserve a table at Fitzroy in Munich. After 9!!! After waiting in line for minutes, I was finally greeted in a friendly manner in English. I initially found this marketing stunt quite funny in an Ausie hotel/restaurant. However, when I answered in German, I was advised to speak English better. After I said (in English of course... I'm being polite at first) that I didn't want this and that I preferred the German language to a service provider in Germany, I was told that I should then write an email. Unfortunately, there was no offer to be put in touch with an employee who might be able to speak German. PEOPLE... haven't you heard the bang yet... what I learned on the phone from you was RACISM in its purest form!!! We don't tolerate that here... and we don't want imported racism either, as we currently have enough to do with our own! Your company is a guest in this country and wants to do business... among other things. with Germans. As a guest in a cultivated country, you should know how to behave. As a service provider, to show such an ignorant and contemptuous attitude towards an entire nation and its language is absolutely disgusting. Wherever I go on this planet, I will never set foot in one of your companies!

Durch Zufall sind wir auf der Suche nach einem Restaurant mit Dachterrasse auf das „Fitzroy“ gestoßen. Die Lage im 14. Stock, mit grandiosem Ausblick aus dem Werksviertel im Osten Münchens auf die City, ist eine absolute Seltenheit in der Stadt. Das Ambiente ist modern, kühl und stylisch. Kurzer Blick in die Speisekarte, das ist genau das, was wir gesucht haben, Euro- Asiatische Fusionsküche, wie für uns gemacht. Ideal auch das Parken im Parkhaus, 2 Minuten Fußweg zum Restaurant, in der Stadt undenkbar. Der Service freundlich und Kompetent, die Küche hat unsere Erwartungen voll erfüllt. Menü, 2 Gänge € 27,- absolut perfekt für uns, wir essen beide nicht viel. Als Vorspeise Thun-Tartar im Tempura Teig, Frühlingslauch, Trüffelmayonaise. Hört sich nicht nur fein an, war hervorragend gewürzt und so frittiert, dass der Thun nur ganz dezent gegart war. Dann Hähnchen- Teriyaki, wunderbar knusprige Haut, leicht scharfer Kimchi- Pak Choi und winzige frittierte Zwiebelscheibchen, Avocado Creme, perfekte Aromenvielfalt. Zum Abschluss warmer Kokos-Mochi, Kokosmilchsauce, Sesam Fruchtgel, eine cremig schmelzende Köstlichkeit. An dem was hier aus der Küche kommt könnten sich so manche Möchtegern- Köche in den Münchner Schicki- Micki- Restaurants eine Scheibe abschneiden. Unbedingte Empfehlung. Beim nächsten Besuch freuen wir uns schon heute auf weitere Überraschungen aus der Küche. Danke an den Service und die Küchen Crew. Zum Schluss noch eine kleine Anmerkung. Die telefonische Erreichbarkeit, erst ab 14:00 Uhr, ist insofern hinderlich, wenn man mittags einen Tischreserviert hat und man auf Grund der Verkehrssituation seine Verspätung mitteilen möchte.

By chance we came across “Fitzroy” while looking for a restaurant with a roof terrace. The location on the 14th floor, with a magnificent view of the city from the Werksviertel in the east of Munich, is an absolute rarity in the city. The atmosphere is modern, cool and stylish. A quick look at the menu, this is exactly what we were looking for, Euro-Asian fusion cuisine made for us. Parking in the parking garage is also ideal, a 2-minute walk to the restaurant, unthinkable in the city. The service was friendly and competent, the kitchen fully met our expectations. Menu, 2 courses € 27, - absolutely perfect for us, neither of us eats much. As a starter, tuna tartare in tempura batter, spring leeks, truffle mayonaise. Not only did it sound fine, it was excellently seasoned and fried so that the tuna was only cooked very gently. Then chicken teriyaki, wonderfully crispy skin, slightly spicy kimchi pak choi and tiny fried onion slices, avocado cream, perfect variety of flavors. Finally, warm coconut mochi, coconut milk sauce, sesame fruit gel, a creamy, melting delicacy. Many would-be chefs in Munich's Schicki-Micki restaurants could learn a lesson from what comes out of the kitchen here. Absolute recommendation. We're already looking forward to more surprises from the kitchen on our next visit. Thanks to the service and the kitchen crew. Finally, a small note. The availability by telephone, which is only available from 2 p.m., is a hindrance if you have reserved a table at lunchtime and want to report your delay due to the traffic situation.

I've been there a few times in the afternoon for coffee. Really relaxed as there was a great view and, unlike other spots in Munich, there were only a few other guests.

Disastrous price-performance ratio: the mushroom risotto with truffles was far too hard. Even after making it again. The gyoza were raw. These are the worst Gyozs I have ever eaten. Both dishes were very expensive. I'm conflicted about the service: one waiter, who I think was in charge, was very nice. Another arrogant and incompetent. Clearly not a recommendation. PS you can only order whole bottles of wine.

Terrible service. The bar kind of open till 22.. strange timing for the rooftop. But drinks you could only order till 21:30.. and no one gonna tell it to you before to make sure you are not wasting your time.. ah 😩

Extremely nice restaurant, been there for lunch several times. Today we tried it for dinner and the experience was very unpleasant. Starting with the fact that we were left standing there with our bulky bags as if we were air, and then when the waiter took pity on us, we were told: “I only have 8 tables left. “Looks bad tonight” and referred us to the bar, where we could be served snacks… unfortunately I can’t reproduce the tone here. Now we're sitting in evening clothes at a burger restaurant with a better vibe. Maybe It's better to come with a reservation and a lot of patience.

We celebrated our gender reveal party here and had a total of just over 20 guests. The location is really nice and the staff was very friendly. Unfortunately, the agreement that we would have our own area was not kept. Instead, there were strangers sitting right next to us. That spoiled the atmosphere a little. For €69 per person we definitely expected more. The price included prosecco, coffee and orange juice, but not even water. The food was okay, but in Munich I know more upscale restaurants where you get more for the same money. What annoyed us was that we subsequently received an additional bill of around €150 just because we stayed longer and drank coffee, which was previously included in the price. My tip: If you are planning a larger celebration here, put all agreements in writing and take the documents with you to the celebration to avoid misunderstandings. Overall a mixed experience: great location, but unfortunately some organizational deficiencies.

The service staff is quite friendly. But the portions are really too measly for the very high prices. You probably also pay for the view. I can't really recommend the place. After the visit we ate our fill at home.

Really a delicious and classy meal. Quite very expensive. There are only 4 stars for the ambience because the toilets were very dirty in the early evening. It was probably also due to the already full roof terrace. The service was quick and friendly, even if some waiters spoke better English than German, but that wasn't a problem.

The only good thing about the place is the view over Munich and the cocktails are also ok. But the food is the worst I've ever eaten. The taste is below average, carelessly prepared and the price is so exorbitant. Nothing is Australian except the name. The dumplings are highly praised for €32 for 10 small pieces and taste worse than the ready-made version from Aldi. Be sure to do the math when paying, because the waitress, who can't do math, cheated us out of 10 euros out of a total of 51 euros, so we paid 61 euros. Unfortunately we didn't realize it until later. The staff is absolutely incompetent and runs around like counterfeit money. Absolutely not recommended!

In addition to the impressive view of the Werksviertel, there is also really lovingly decorated food that is really delicious. Always full at lunchtime during the week too. The service was initially almost perfect, but somehow faded as the meal progressed. Probably too many guests for the existing staff. Fitzroy is undeniably a classy establishment. Sometimes, all show and no tell leaves you shy of excellence but on that weird borderline where you can’t tell if it’s an instant ‘hell yea!’ or a total ‘no!’. If you are going to charge €40 for a steak with no sides, make sure everything else is perfect to avoid a really close inspection. The atmosphere was cold and uninviting and everyone looked a bit scared to talk to each other. A booming party on the terrace bar overpowered the elevated dining experience. The establishment is warring between casual cuisine and fine dining, clashing in an almighty confusion where the exceptional flavour profiles hand-in-hand with sub standard finish of service and atmosphere will forever devour each other with no clear winner coming out on top. I walk away €200 lighter, questioning where the money went, but equally changed having visited …

Unusual location of the restaurant, fancy interior, and beautiful views from the terrace. Surprising and good Australian cuisine, octopus and ribs were delicious, lavender dessert was mild and refreshing, perfect after dinner. Service could be more friendlier.

The Fitzroy in Munich is an excellent place to eat. The service was extremely courteous and made our evening unforgettable. I would particularly like to highlight the meat – it was buttery tender and perfectly cooked. A wonderful culinary experience that I can recommend to everyone! You can park in the nearby “Autospeicher” car park for €3 per hour, which is very cheap as 30 minutes are free.

The dessert was also very interesting – just the right amount, not too much and not too little, just perfect. Value for money: Given the high quality of the food and service, the prices are reasonable. The portions were well sized and fully met our expectations. Cleanliness: The restaurant and the sanitary facilities were spotlessly clean, which further reinforced the positive impression. Overall, my visit to the Fitzroy was a complete success and I immediately made my next reservation. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to enjoy good food in a beautiful setting.

The food was OK. I had veal medallions that were burnt and therefore quite bitter. There were also 5 potatoes and 2 sauces. It wasn't really bad, but it wasn't something I had to have again. We would also have to wait a very long time between the starter and the main course. Almost 30 minutes. That was definitely too long. In addition, a waitress rarely came by. On the other hand, the view was of course great. But you can also go to other buildings or facilities around the area for free.

I have been here multiple times with business partners and this place is simply wonderful. The food is a great experience, it doesn’t matter what you order. The orientation is fusion cuisine, perfect plating and excites all your tasting nerves. This place became the standard for me to invite business partners for dinner. The interior is absolutely stunning, on the 14th floor with a nice view over Munich. Also they have a lovely terrace. The staff is absolutely professional and welcoming. Thank you for the great experiences and I will be back.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting the restaurant which exceeded my expectations in every way. The food was simply excellent. Every dish was a culinary masterpiece, prepared with fresh ingredients and great attention to detail. The variety of dishes offered something for every taste, and the presentation was as appealing as the taste itself. I would particularly like to highlight the perfectly prepared risotto. The service was excellent. The staff was extremely attentive, friendly and professional. Our wishes were fulfilled immediately and we felt well looked after throughout our entire stay. The waiters were competent and were able to comprehensively answer all of our questions about the dishes and wines. The ambience of the rooftop restaurant was one of the most beautiful I have ever experienced. The stylish furnishings, combined with the atmospheric lighting, created a welcoming and luxurious atmosphere. The live music in the bar opposite was particularly impressive, creating a relaxed yet lively atmosphere. It was the perfect musical accompaniment to an unforgettable evening. We had a wonderful view over the city that was spectacular both during the day and at night. The restaurant offers an unforgettable overall experience characterized by delicious food, excellent service, an impressive ambience and breathtaking views. I can highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants to spend a special evening in an exceptional setting.

Insider tip for business lunch in the east of Munich 🌟 We were thrilled with the signature 3-course menu that we were offered today: tuna tartare tempura with truffle mayo, fried chicken teriyaki on bok choy, and warm coconut fruit mochi. The portions were very generous, so we were stuffed by the end. Really great for €32. The service seemed a bit clumsy - I don't think we were served by a professional - but an effort was made. The music could have been a little more modern. It was also a shame that two of the top dishes from the already very clear menu were not available.

Had a great time at the Fitzroy and was fortunately able to have both their lunch and dinner menus on the same day. Their menu is quite concise which makes it easy to pick and the food is really good. Where there is room for improvement is with the service, the waiters were slow and often forget orders and drinks didn't arrive. Would have been better if our party had a dedicated waiter instead if multiple people. Otherwise would gladly recommend.

First of all: We went to Fitzroy for brunch - so I can only relate the criticism to this experience. The restaurant describes itself as a “casual fine dining” restaurant, but the brunch is more “casual” than “fine dining”. For the price of €69 per person (on Mother's Day even 74 €) you could perhaps expect a little “more” in one place or another. The roast beef may have been cut a little too thickly, which made it feel a little tougher, and the sausage and cheese products, which were presented on a cake stand at the table, were not a highlight - more of a breakfast standard. All in all, the food was delicious! The gyozas, ceviche and tartare are particularly recommended. The ambience of the restaurant is modern, cozy and elegant. The view over the city is indescribable! A view like this is a rarity in Munich - it's worth a visit to Fitzroy for that alone! The start was at 12 p.m., the cake stand with sausage and cheese as well as a small selection of pastries and fruit were already on the table. You could (theoretically) get as much coffee as you wanted from the buffet, as well as freshly squeezed orange juice and Prosecco. The buffet was fully stocked from 12 p.m. and you could grab everything from the starters to the desserts right from the start. Brunch is regularly scheduled from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. But why only 3 stars? Above all, this is due to the organization - not the kitchen! 1. The hearty buffet was always well stocked, but unfortunately the desserts looked very bad. One of the three desserts was already sold out by 1:30 p.m. and was no longer available. Unfortunately, even when asked, nothing could be done here. Zero-waste is all well and good, but especially desserts should still be there at 1:30 p.m. when brunch is scheduled until 4 p.m. Orange juice and Prosecco were also no longer available at the same time - but upon request, both could still be ordered from the bar with a short waiting time. 2. At 2:45 p.m. we were informed that the kitchen would now be closed and the buffet would be dismantled. At 2:50 p.m. we were asked if we could pay yet. Even from 2:30 p.m., chairs and tables next to us were loudly dismantled, carpets were removed and the room was filled with bar tables. We're talking about 1.5 hours before the end of the event! When the table next door complained about the noise, all they received was a short apology: “Unfortunately, I have to do that.” The renovation work has somewhat destroyed the otherwise relaxed atmosphere. 3. The website promised “surprise specials as a flying buffet”. These are apparently available at every brunch - on Mother's Day, when you expect at least a small "surprise" due to a price increase, they were deleted without comment and described as an "error on the website". Another point that unfortunately dampened the mood a bit! However: On this point, big praise for the service! When asked whether there was a special or whether you should go for dessert, the employee was very committed to clarifying things. As compensation there was a bottle of Prosecco on the roof terrace. The handling and proactivity are therefore a plus point! *Conclusion:* Definitely mixed feelings about the brunch experience! The brunch is good & tasty but the view was the only “wow”. The service is friendly and committed even when there are “problems”, but the organization and processes have room for improvement and sometimes leave a bad aftertaste.

The view is the star at Fitzroy. Unfortunately, the rest can't quite keep up. The starter (ramen) comes to the table at most lukewarm and seems unbalanced. Broth too weak and very fishy. A bit disturbing for a beef ramen. The main course (short rib) was good, but not very warm. The service is attentive and friendly, but not at the level that these prices would suggest.

3.40 for a gyoza? There are 10 pieces for you at the Asian supermarket around the corner. The ramen soup for €19 is also very expensive, but unfortunately not even tasty. Everything tastes pungently like fish due to the amount of algae (the beef, the bok choy, the broth, everything). Unfortunately, the huge, elegant stoneware plates are not warmed, so you have to eat the fish soup cold. The same applies to the €32 short ribs on sweet potato puree. The plates absorb the heat from any food in under 3 minutes. Great view, but really disappointing gastronomically.

Reserved table by the window. So everything has already been planned. Service and view very great. The view of Munich from the restaurant is great and as a little highlight there is the roof garden next door, where the sheep graze on the roof garden :) Food very tasty and recommended. All in all a lovely evening. Parking possible on site in the underground car park.

Too bad jam... Top location with good food is offered at very reasonable prices. Actually everything would be ok if it weren't for the service... Very difficult to reach by phone - fun on hold 🙄 Reservation was easy with great space in the middle of the room. Logistics of drinks and food didn't work at all. In fact, this is the first time a restaurant has served coffee after dessert. Waiting 20 minutes for an invoice is no fun either. Despite contact with the second operator it didn't get any better. You have to do better - especially with 5 star prices!

We first came to the roof top bar sitting and enjoying the view. Than we did change to go to the restaurant in the 14th floor. We were having starter, fish and steak for main course and dessert. We had a lovely evening and the service was fantastic. Thanks to the team.

Great experience at Fitzroy ! The food was delicious, the view beautiful and the service was amazing! i will definitely go back !

Unfortunately, I can't speak English and therefore felt discriminated against there. We are here in Germany.

Most frustrating brunch we have ever experienced. Unfortunately, the service and the whole experience were just bad. The six of us sat in front of a single bread basket for an hour until the warm courses were gradually served. These arrived so different and mixed up that each of us had a different dish at different times. If we hadn't kept looking at the menu and pointing it out, some of us wouldn't have gotten various courses at all. At some point the cake stands finally arrived, which were very poorly and carelessly prepared. One raspberry, four grapes and a few dried fruits are said to have represented the fruit selection. The joke about the tier par excellence, however, was that the lower plate (with sausage) was simply removed for vegetarians. Of course there was no more cheese (only soft cheese here, by the way). There was also meat in our salad (for vegetarians). Reorders (whether coffee or bread) were either forgotten or took forever. We waited over an hour for a bread basket (which we ordered without croissants) so we canceled it. Five minutes later, the bread basket in question arrived anyway (!!???), including several croissants. We were absolutely disappointed with the whole visit, the service and the food. Not even the view could compensate us. You can also get these for less money and less hassle on the viewing platform of the Olympic Tower.

Very good food, very welcoming staff, above all professional. Stunning location, I highly recommend the place.

Good bar, great seating. The service at the bar could be better. Unfortunately, there were some people present on Saturday evening wearing jogging suits.

Wir haben den 50. Geburtstag hier gefeiert und waren sehr begeistert. Erst hatten wir einen Aperitif an der Bar und dann einen schönen Tisch für uns alle im hinteren Teil des Lokals. Das Essen war wir immer hervorragend. Unsere Gäste waren mehr als zufrieden. Danke an Mateo, der sich den ganzen Abend sehr nett um uns gekümmert hat. Wir sind am Sonntag zum Brunch wieder da !

Incredible atmosphere, lighting was superb, couches were comfy! Friendly and extremely helpful staff, willing to accommodate my substitution requests with no issues. Delicious cocktails.

Tasteful, cozy atmosphere. The night view is really pretty and the bartenders are very accommodating and friendly. Will visit again 👍

An absolutely beautiful and extraordinary restaurant, with an amazing ambience, super delicious food and great drinks. On top of that there is the gigantic view over the whole of Munich. We were thrilled and will definitely come back 👌🏻😍.

Top Restaurant mit einer überschaubaren Speisekarte, die für jeden Gusto etwas zu bieten hat. Steaklovers sind hier genau richtig - auf den Punkt und geschmacklich unübertrefflich. Generell ist die Küche asiatisch angehaucht. Zeit nach dem Dinner auf einen Drink mit tollem Ausblick über München sollte man sich unbedingt an der Bar nehmen...feine Cocktails und entspannte Atmosphäre garantiert!

The food was average and absolutely nothing special or outstanding considering the prices. Drinks were not brought, the table was cleared while others at the table were still eating. We waited more than 30 minutes for dessert. Overall, despite a nice ambience, the costs are not in relation to the performance. A pity
