A really lovely bar on the 14th floor; you can usually find a seat even without a reservation. The waiters are all very friendly, although communication in German isn't always possible; my grandmother was a little overwhelmed when ordering (she's never spoken English before 😃).

Attentive and courteous service (they made a lot of effort to find a table that suited our needs on a Saturday night without a reservation), good drinks, and such a beautiful view 🥰🎡🌙

They apply a racist filter to incoming guests. The bar is on the 15th floor, but a security guard hired for €12/hour scans you at the ground floor and rejects you as a customer if you don't fit the target demographic (white and upscale-pseudo-elegant looking). We were two Caucasian men with our respective girlfriends (one with an Afro-Caribbean background and one Asian). The 'security' guard will warn you about the long wait to access the bar. If you insist on checking it out for yourself, as we did, he will become aggressive. There are better venues for a pleasant evening. Racism is out in 2025. It was a bad experience to forget.

Overpriced and overrated. We paid 220€, but nothing really stood out. They try to do things with a twist, but can't fully make it. The chickpea fries are dry, just make normal fries or if we're feeling fancy truffle fries. The Braised short rib, had mushrooms on top which added nothing to it. The T-bone was asked medium rare, and prepared medium well, accompanied with like 16 roast cherry tomatoes? 17€ for 2 baos that had 2 miserable pieces of pork belly inside. Overall incredibly disappointed. Portions of everything were also very small for the price.

Unfortunately, it was very disappointing. The value for money was completely out of the question. The service was rather inattentive, and the billing process was more complicated than necessary. A birthday special was advertised on Instagram, but there was no sign of it on site. None of the staff knew about it, and we were told that the waitress couldn't possibly know everything. The tiered stand of sausage and cheese had obviously been sitting there unrefrigerated for some time, because everything was already dried out when we arrived (see photo). The rest of the food was okay, but nothing special. The buffet lacked labels, making it difficult to identify some of the food and also difficult for people with allergies. The selection was okay, but there were no main courses for vegetarians. The only truly compelling feature was the beautiful view—otherwise, unfortunately, it wasn't an experience I would recommend.

On September 20, 2025, I proposed in this beautifully romantic restaurant. It was very nice, romantic, cozy, and the atmosphere was wonderful. The highlight was the terrace on the 15th floor. The food was great, especially the vegetarian gyzoa (10/10). The drinks were super good and really sweet. The service was incredible; we were greeted politely and shown to our table. I never would have expected such service. The manager was very friendly, kind, competent, and funny. The whole team was very friendly and FAST. I can recommend it 100%. I would like to thank you again for this unforgettable experience. THANK YOU. Thanks to the service and to the manager who came in especially for us. Whoever reads this can believe this review. It's a very nice location, but you can run into very, very loud music, depending on date and time. It's basically half a club... sometimes.

One of my favourite restaurants last time. A colleague of mine recommended it as one having a magic view over Munich City. He was right. The panoramic view is stunning. During the day you can see the two towers der Frauenkirche, Rathaus and of course the Olympia Turm. Service is friendly and unostentatious. Food is delicious. The restaurant doesn’t have a large menu however what they could offer you they offer it at theirs excellence. Products are fresh and combined off the beaten track. I would recommend to try a cocktail of the day the restaurant will offer you. The reservation in advance is highly recommended as well.

The biggest plus of this place is the view, which you can enjoy. But it's best to come here only for the drinks. The restaurant and food aren't worth the money. And the service isn't up to par and is very poor. I'll come back just for the view and the cocktails.

A beautiful, large bar in the Werksviertel district near Ostbahnhof. The rooftop bar has a cool view, but is only open when the weather is nice. The bar on the floor below also has a relaxed view of Munich East and some pretty good cocktails. The atmosphere is more relaxed than chilled, and the crowd is relatively young.

Some reviews were good, and a previous visit was also very positive, so I went back today. Unfortunately, it was a disappointment this time. In this price range, you'd expect the service to be good, but that wasn't the case today. €70 Wagyu should definitely be served warm, otherwise it's just not worth the money. And if, out of three main courses, one is served ten minutes late, then the kitchen is simply not organized. Sorry, dear Fitzroy team, today was a mess. 😕

We were staying in the hotel and decided to get some drinks there for our last night, this was a great decision as the drinks were super good. We had two shots (Green Comet & Slop Shot) which were strong but good and two cocktails (Fitzroy Spritz & Sakura Spritz) which were amazing, perfect mix of flavours. 10/10 would go again

Exceptional service, breathtaking view and a unique flavour food with lovely presentation. We went for dinner and we had medium expectations due to the comments about the bad service. We were surprised by the warm hospitality and lovely service, shout out to Grace and Victoria and all other staff who made our birthday dinner exceptional! We ordered: Avocado sashimi: well balanced taste and a bit spicy but smooth and rich of unique flavours. Black Angus rib eye: so far, the best meat we had in Munich. We ordered it with green house salad which was a perfect fresh match with the meat. It was fresh, crunchy with asparagus, edamame and other green veggies. Crunchy octopus: well balanced taste did not like it much and it was a bit bulky dish. Strawberry cheesecake and mochi selection: both were elegantly presented and rich of flavour. The drafted beer was wonderful. On addition, we are sensitive to smells and were glad to find out that every single fork, glass, dish and even toilets were sparkling clean! Thank you!!!

We chose the Fitzroy because of the rooftop bar. However, the whole process turned out to be extremely complicated: The restaurant and the bar inside require separate reservations, and according to the information, both are "not necessary." However, after our meal at 8 p.m., we couldn't go to the bar because it was completely full. There is a separate "real" rooftop bar on the 25th floor, but that has nothing to do with the Fitzroy. The Fitzroy is on the 14th floor in the middle of the skyscraper, and on the 15th floor, there are five tables facing out at the back with no skyline at all (facing east). On top of that, the area closes at 10 p.m. (Saturdays), and drinks are no longer available after 9:30 p.m. The food in the restaurant was cheesy, with tiny portions and expensive—while good, it's more for gourmets with deep pockets. All in all, we were very disappointed and misled by the presentation.

We had a very disappointing experience here. When we arrived, we clearly told the waiter that my boyfriend has a sesame allergy. Despite this, almost every single dish we received had sesame — including some that were not supposed to have it at all. The waiter never clarified which dishes were safe, and even after the issues with the earlier courses, the dessert (a pavlova!) came sprinkled with sesame. This was especially frustrating because it was offered “as a gift” to make up for the earlier mistakes. On top of that, my main dish was served cold. We left feeling not only unsatisfied but also concerned about the lack of care for a serious food allergy.

The space was amazing, the drinks delicious and the view incredible! But what I liked the most was how wonderful the staff was, especially Fernanda. She was incredible! Always with a smile on her face and made us feel at home. Thank you so much for everything, Fernanda!

Beautiful view, disappointing concept. The rooms are large and have a beautiful view, and the service was friendly. However, the spa area is tiny for the size of the hotel—only about 15 loungers for a hotel with well over 200 beds. There's also only a small pool. The value for money isn't right: The food in the restaurant tasted like a convenience store. Despite having free tables in the restaurant, we had to eat at the bar—illogical and uncomfortable. There are much better hotels with wellness and dining options in Munich.

A beautiful place with a fantastic view. You can have a drink up on the terrace, but you can't really eat anything. One floor down, on the 14th floor, is the restaurant. The prices are reasonable, the food mediocre. Apart from the delicious dim sum (5 pieces for almost €18), and the delicious rolls, everything tasted quite bland. I wouldn't want to repeat that.

Six of us were there for dinner. The ambiance is truly wonderful, and the view is breathtaking. The entire decor is the perfect elegant blend of simple and chic. It should be noted, however, that we were there for dinner for my parents' silver wedding anniversary, which was stated in the reservation. We had a great table in the corner with a beautiful view on two sides, including a direct view of the Stadtalm, but there were no special table decorations or other attentions, not even congratulations. It would be nice if such occasions were recognized. Unfortunately, we apparently had bad luck with our waitress – she didn't speak German and spoke only poor English (although all the other service staff spoke German to us). Two of us arrived earlier than the rest due to the weather and were given German menus, while the rest were suddenly given English ones. Even in English, communication was difficult due to the incorrect pronunciation of many of the dishes, and one minor detail that stood out was that she was wearing extremely chipped nail polish, which looked unkempt. We had to ask specifically about the dessert menu later. It was a shame that four dishes from the already small menu (which is normal for the class of the restaurant) were unavailable yesterday, including two main courses, one side dish (for which there was at least a substitute), and one starter. This significantly reduced the selection, especially among the main courses. We were also told that one of the aperitifs on the main menu had been discontinued for some time – you'd think that, given the price range and a menu that only takes up one A4 page, this could have been changed, but it wasn't a big deal. The aperitifs we ordered were excellent and a delicious start to the evening. The starters also impressed us. From the astonishingly large selection, which made it almost impossible to decide, we tried several, and all were fantastic, perfectly matched in flavor and beautifully presented. The portion sizes were also just right, and the €17-21 per starter was definitely worth it. ``` The main courses were tasty, but didn't completely convince us, especially given the high prices. Side dishes were missing, which we probably would have had to order separately, which we didn't understand on the menu, as the side dishes were only listed with the steaks. Better service might have pointed out that side dishes would have been helpful with the dishes we ordered (cod and tofu). The desserts (crème brûlée and the chocolate tart) were divine and highly recommended. Especially for the price of €10, it's phenomenal value. Conclusion: We would return for a drink at the bar or in the lounge, or for the appetizers or dessert, but not for a full dinner again.

Conditionally recommended We were there for a birthday dinner during the week at lunchtime. Looking at the menu, the website, and the ambiance, Fritzroy wants to be in the same league as Essence and 167. The location and view alone definitely have the potential to do so, but unfortunately, it gets in the way with a lot of little things... Reservations: According to the website, "only dinner reservations are possible." Upon arrival, waiter 1 asked us if we had a reservation, which I denied, referring to the website. When paying, I asked again why, according to the homepage text, no reservations were possible, or rather, lunchtime wasn't selectable, but it was apparently necessary. The waiter told me that it was no longer possible because the (only half-full) restaurant was fully booked. Service positive: Our daughter was immediately brought a high chair with a cushion. Otherwise, I unfortunately have to agree with the other reviews. The waiters brought the food flawlessly, that's it. No recommendations or explanations of which spread was served as a welcome drink from the kitchen. It took ages for the table to be cleared, or for anyone to ask if they enjoyed their meal or offer an espresso. Every waiter at any Italian restaurant around the corner was better. These gentlemen reminded me a lot of the untrained military orderlies in the BW casinos. I also didn't get the feeling that they enjoyed their work or had a good working atmosphere. ...

Simply fantastic! I recently visited the Fitzroy Munich with my girlfriend and was truly pleasantly surprised. The staff was super friendly and served us with genuine hospitality. My beer glass had a small crack – and they immediately responded and brought me a new one. Little things like that show how attentive and professional the team is. The atmosphere was pleasant, the food delicious, and the service simply excellent. Definitely recommend it – I'll be back!

Unfortunately, everything is very unloved...just because you're up high and have a decent view, you feel like you don't have to make an effort. Prices are expensive for a rooftop terrace, you know that, but it's self-service, dirty tables...really dirty, a tiny Aperol Spritz with more ice and water for €12...no, that's not right, it was nice, OK, but I won't be back.

An Evening at the Fitzroy – Between Culinary Indulgence and Frozen Food Service Our visit to the Fitzroy began with a promising start: The interior – simple but stylish, true to the motto "less is more." And the view over Munich? A true postcard. The welcome from our waiter, on the other hand, was rather... let's say pragmatic. Nevertheless, we were pleased to snag a window seat – after all, it was my birthday! I had even specifically noted this when making my online reservation. Unfortunately, either no one had read it or they thought birthday wishes were overrated. It's not about a serenade, but simply a little attention. One inevitably wonders: If such hints go unnoticed, what about more serious matters, like allergies? The evening began with an aperitif at the bar – and here finally arrived the first highlight: sophisticated, tasteful, and visually a small work of art. Hats off to the bar crew! They clearly know what they're doing! We ordered both an appetizer and a main course, as well as a bottle of rosé – with the express request that everything be served in a relaxed manner and in stages. After all, we wanted to enjoy the evening, not finish breakfast in record time. Unfortunately, our waiter seemed to have the opposite in mind. Before we were even halfway through the aperitif, the appetizers were already on the table, followed by the – attention! – lukewarm bottle of rosé, which was supposed to be poured for us immediately. And we hadn't even finished our cocktails yet! We asked for the rosé to be chilled, which at least worked. The appetizer was a true delight: delicately composed in flavor, visually worthy of a Michelin-star. The kitchen deserves a huge compliment here. After the last bite, we explicitly requested a short break before the main course. We also reminded him that we would now like to enjoy the chilled rosé – after all, the cocktail was now history. While we waited, we asked the waiter about the open terrace, which was clearly visible from our seats – a green oasis with sheep and chickens. An event was taking place there, and we curiously asked if he knew the name of the venue. The answer: a laconic, "I don't know, probably an event location." At this point, they would have appreciated a little more commitment – ​​perhaps a quick check with a colleague? But no, initiative was apparently not included in the menu. The main course finally arrived – and was once again a hit. A feast for the taste buds, both for my companion and me. Again, high praise to the kitchen, which, despite service glitches, appears to be undeterred and playing in the top league. For dessert, we had to take action ourselves and ask for a dessert menu. Here, too: magnificent. I opted for something sweet, my companion for another cocktail – because they were simply too good to stop at just one. Conclusion: An evening full of culinary highlights, but unfortunately accompanied by service that oscillated somewhere between indifference and overwhelm. The Fitzroy has a dream location, excellent cuisine, and a bar that sets standards – but unfortunately, also a service that doesn't live up to the overall picture. Lacking empathy and not service-oriented. Even more worrying, however, is that according to reviews, this problem has existed for over two years. If nothing changes for so long, they obviously have no interest in it. It's a shame, because I'm certainly willing to spend good money on quality – but not on an evening that somehow feels wrong despite the perfect food. So all that remains to be said is: Fitzroy, you were a culinary hit – but unfortunately a flop on a human level. And for me, despite all the delights, this was my last visit. I don't need a response from the owner to my review – it may be sincere, but apparently has the same effect as a smoke detector without a battery.

We were in the Fitzroy bar area during the week with visitors from America. I was truly overwhelmed by the magnificent view of Munich at sunset and the beautiful decor. Unfortunately, we had to wait forever for a waiter in such a bad mood to come over, and after we'd finished our drinks, no one came back to ask if we wanted another drink. It's a shame, because otherwise it's a truly fantastic place.

What a shame and disappointing! We had the Munich Cocktail Week booklet (= one signature cocktail per participating bar for €5) and wanted to meet up with friends at the Fitzroy on the final day of Cocktail Week, May 10, 2025. We were rudely and unfriendlyly turned away at the bar entrance with the words: "Tonight is the night of music. Admission only with tickets." When we asked if we could get our cocktails up at the rooftop bar, we were simply told that there were no cocktails available today. However, we could have an Aperol up there for the regular price of €12. That wasn't the Cocktail Week deal! Unfortunately, the booklet didn't exclude the aforementioned day. That would have saved us the unnecessary trip! Very annoying...

A modern, elegant restaurant with a bar and rooftop terrace. We had a wonderful evening with appetizers, a main course, and dessert, all very delicious, and a cozy nightcap at the bar.

We went for lunch. The menu was clear and factual, the food was good but nothing special, and the prices weren't reasonable. A glass of rose wine that was reordered arrived at room temperature!! The service staff was very inattentive, and the team was very young, so you can tell they're running the place. Personal criticism: even though we're in a business district, in Munich, a receptionist should also be able to speak some German. The view is great, and we'll definitely come back for a drink.

Dinner with a sunset view from the 14th floor of the Adina hotel... Fitzroy offers an elevated atmosphere (pun not intended 😉), live music (unsure of the frequency) delicious food and cocktails, as well as a cozy rooftop terrace with bar facing the east side of the city. Not only accommodating to larger parties, I'd say this is the perfect spot for a beautiful date night!

The Fitzroy thrives on the view. The food is good, but not as outstanding as some have portrayed. The staff are attentive and friendly, but far from highly professional. By the time the wine arrived, the main course had already been served, even though it had been ordered. After the order had already been placed, another waiter came and wanted to take the order. The same thing happened when paying. Shortly after midnight, the bar was being noisily cleared up, and shortly afterwards, they were clearly asked to pay, even though the bar was still busy.....that could be better....

We sat right at the bar and had the pleasure of being served by bartender Alex. The Fitzroy in Munich offers a noble and modern ambience with a cozy atmosphere. The dimmed lighting is particularly pleasant in the evening, creating a private and stylish atmosphere. The staff was extremely friendly and attentive, but we had to wait a relatively long time for our drinks and cocktails, which somewhat marred the otherwise smooth service. I can't say much about the price-performance ratio since I was invited, but I've heard that the prices are rather high. We were in Fitzroy on Shrove Monday with our dear friends and our little daughter (3.5 years). We were initially very impressed by the location and view, like most rooftop restaurants in other cities we have been to. Only one thing was very special this time: we were hosted by a very special person named Reda, who has the absolute magic to give the evening even more magic with his friendly, warm, open manner and professionalism. The entire team created an incredible feel-good atmosphere, was very attentive and discreet at the same time, and above all, very child-friendly. The food was very tasty and served excellently. We'll definitely be back - but only if Reda is there too. ;) PS: Dear Reda! Please keep it up and keep your warm and friendly nature. You deserve more than just 5 stars! Unfortunately, our experience was disappointing in the end...The octopus was tasty, but untypical and unpleasant after-effects appeared around 60 minutes after eating it. Since we combined the other courses differently, it could only have been the octopus. What's particularly annoying is that the restaurant doesn't even respond to our feedback! A great ambience alone is not enough - the quality and freshness of the food must also be right. Unfortunately not recommended for culinary reasons!

Great view. However, very poor service After 45 minutes without being served (and dirty dishes at our table) we got up and left The waitress (who had ignored us until then) just said “hello & goodbye”

Incredible view, brilliantly decorated with style, service great, food very good, but the main course was more of the size of a starter. It's very difficult to find the restaurant if you don't know that it belongs to the Adina Hotel.

It was a very pleasing evening with great food! I must thank Reda for being such a nich person and with a great mood to service us.

A little challengeing to find. You have to go into Adina Aparment Hotels and take the elevator to the 14th floor. Very nice atmhosphere and view over the city. The food was a fusion kitchen and taste was great. We had starters, main course and a bottle of wine, we ended at approx 70-80 euro pr person. The dimmed lighting was great, furniture and interior nicely done. Very exclusive feeling. At the day of our visit (a thursday) there was a live duo with piano, guitar and singing. They did it great and volume levels in the restaurant allowed for eaisly talking - likewise in the bar area. Can recommend that you go for a cocktail either before or after dinner also. Staff was welcoming and helpful fluent in english and german.

The location is great. We were assigned a window seat with an excellent view. The menu is rather limited and there isn't much choice like in other restaurants. The dishes are à la carte and really, really tasty. The service was also very good. I don't know if that was a coincidence or if that's common there. But we were served in English, which was ok in our case since we are fluent in English. In terms of price, this restaurant is in the upper segment. For this reason I would only choose this restaurant on special occasions.

Had a lovely evening in the Fitzroy on Valentine's Day. Dragan looked after us wonderfully. We can recommend the Fitzroy!
