We've been coming here for years. If we want fried fish, we only go here, where the locals eat. You really see a lot of regulars here. Quality speaks for itself😄. We tried a few things in Otterndorf and the surrounding area years ago, and ever since, we've been looking forward to delicious fried fish with Remu and fries or a roll at 'See achtern Dieck'. Traditionally, we serve Becks (and this year, Flens too!) with it. The two ladies have a Nordic warmth; it's simply lovely to have a good chat with them. There's always something for families, no matter the age of the children. We've even recently added a small bench just for the little ones😄Nice place!

Today I was in Ottersdorf for the first time and discovered this snack bar. I ordered a small fried fish in a bun, no frills. The fried fish was freshly prepared and deep-fried. This made the fried fish a bit greasy, but the breading was nice and crispy. The service was friendly, with a North German charm. Next time I'm in Otterndorf, I'll be happy to stop by this snack bar again.

We ate two large portions of fried fish with garlic sauce. One portion consisted of two large pieces of pollock fillet with a really delicious beer batter that wasn't too thick. The price/performance ratio was completely acceptable.

The fish snack bar is worth every visit! The fried fish with Remo and fries were truly top-notch! The staff was very friendly and welcomed us with a sense of humor! I'm already looking forward to our next visit!

The rolls weren't that tasty (pre-baked rolls, quite light). I ordered a smoked salmon roll, which had pollock schnitzel on it and cost €4.50. The service was friendly.

This was the best and tastiest fried fish I have ever eaten! Great fish fillet with a perfectly crispy thin breading that is freshly fried - and at a fair price! We cycled past there twice just for the fried fish. The service was friendly and there were a few tables with benches for seating in front of the stand.

Both fish stands on site have delicious fried fish and herb matjes (I lovingly call them Kreutches) ;-). A fish stand is closed on Mondays and Wednesdays. This means that good food is always guaranteed. For me, one of the two has slightly better fried fish, or rather the delicious breading. Test it yourself ;-). In any case, it should be mentioned that the staff at both stands are very, very friendly.

We must have had a bad day. We've always eaten well there over the last few years, but now at the beginning of August the fries taste like older fat and the fried fish didn't seem to be seasoned. We will test the snack bar again next year.

And what can I say, we went to this fish snack bar all week and ate delicious herring and fried fish. What can I say, everything was freshly prepared , friendly service and great value for money. The fried fish was super tasty and the portion was also sufficient, but unfortunately the staff was totally unfriendly and worked very slowly even though the hut was full. It wasn't done in order but rather whether you knew the people from previous visits. If you ask the staff about it, they won't take you seriously and you'll drag other customers into the mix and come up with excuses that don't make any sense. I ordered a small portion of fried fish with fries for my son, a lady who was already known at the snack bar ordered a small portion of fried fish and 3x fries 5 minutes after me and she was handed her food straight away. It's a shame because the fish was really tasty.

Great fried fish - very, very tasty! And the large portion of fried fish is NOT for the small hunger: after that you'll be full! But ask for less salt on the fries ;-) The nice saleswoman has a great sense of humor and is always up for fun. :-) Recommendation! Addendum: Today, July 11, 2024. Best fried fish ever! We have been coming to Otterndorf for more than 10 years and a visit to the fish snack bar "See aftern Diek" is a must every time and has now become a beloved tradition. A big compliment to the super friendly team!

We were there on May 28, 24. Food (fried fish) super tasty and fresh. We wanted to eat there again the next day (Wednesday, May 29, 2024), but the shop was closed (no notification), even though the day of rest is Thursday according to the notice. Therefore only 4 stars.

Fischbrötchen fand ich ziemlich gut, Fischfrikadellen waren Fertige vom Großmarkt sowie auch der Kartoffelsalat, also nicht so prickelnd.

Bester Backfisch seit langem. Sehr nettes Personal. Aufgrund des Großeinkaufs noch zwei Schnäpschen bekommen...

Der Backfisch ist mega lecker und sehr frisch. Sind innerhalb zwei Wochen 3 Mal da gewesen und immer wieder waren wir begeistert. Kommen gerne wieder. Weiter so.

Die Fischfrikadellen sind hier die besten die ich bisher gegessen habe kann ich nur weiterempfehlen. Jederzeit immer wieder gerne macht weiter so ich komm wieder keine frage. Schade das man nur hier 5 Sterne geben kann für mich sind es 100 🌟🌟

Leider muß nur 3 Sterne geben, es wahr mehr paniert als Fisch. Wir haben bezahlt für 2 Portion Backfish mit Kartoffelsalat und remolada 24 Euro. Viel zu teuer für so viel paniert als Fisch!!!Meine Meinung.
