EN below Unfortunately, our experience at Fish & Go Hamburg was extremely disappointing. The service was terrible, and the staff were surprisingly rude and aggressive. One of the waitresses repeatedly bumped into my friend while we were waiting for our food and even pushed her on the shoulder while handing over the change. Completely unacceptable behavior. Many of the drinks listed on the menu were not available, and the staff speak bad German and doesn’t speak English. You are only allowed to sit at a table if you order food worth at least €15 per person - a policy that was not clearly communicated in advance. The food itself was very average, nothing special at all. More concerningly, we had the impression that the kitchen was not up to hygiene standards. It was poorly maintained and unsanitary. Because of this, we reported the situation to a food safety auditor and the Hamburg Health Department. Definitely would not recommend. Even more worrying, however, was the impression that the kitchen was unhygienic and didn't meet German health standards. We have therefore reported the situation to the Hamburg Health Department. We do not recommend it.

If you like good fish... Then go to Fisch & Co. It's a small shop; you can't sit inside, but it's simply delicious. There's only outdoor seating, or you can take the food to go. We'll definitely be back!!!

Good and tasty for a quick lunch. It's filling. Unfortunately, the Labskaus was quite watery in both consistency and taste. The rest was decent, though. The price is very good. 👍

Delicious fish at an acceptable price

Was here by chance and wasn't disappointed. A cute little shop with seating outside in the alley. If you're wondering why the store doesn't have so many reviews. The reviews are handwritten by customers and hang on the wall 🥰👍 I had panfish there. The taste is super delicious. The side dishes were appropriate, as was the well-known mustard sauce. All this for an unbeatable price of €12.90 and in a location. A must for Hamburg and I look forward to being a guest there again soon

While looking for a restaurant we happened upon this small, rustic fish stall. You can eat on site, but you have to be lucky to get a table as there is limited space. We didn't mind that because we ordered fish sandwiches "to-go". Nice staff, our order was prepared quickly and freshly and we have to say that it was one of the best fish sandwiches we have eaten so far. Super tasty. If you're in the area, you should definitely stop by there. It's worth it.

I got food poisoning after eating a Bismarck roll. I've never felt so bad after a snack. According to other bad reviews, the hygiene in the kitchen leaves a lot to be desired. It was delicious, but poor hygiene is a no-go! In addition, the service is very, very unfriendly and needs to be improved.

Super small bistro, only a few seats inside, but it is also possible to sit outside or take the menu with you. Prices are good, sandwiches from about 4 EUR, fish and chips 9, meals around 10, but even less.

It's a tiny place with a great atmosphere. We had Labskaus and were completely satisfied. The guests' other dishes also looked great. Tip: if you can't get a seat in the restaurant, there are also fish rolls (among other things) on hand! It's worth it.

The food there is incredibly delicious 😋 the people are so friendly and very nice there, but we found it too small there. A very, very small shop hence the star deduction. But for us there is no reason not to eat there anymore.

The best restaurant in Hamburg. My favorite is the Herring steak which is raw and picked, but marvelous with roast potatoes. Next time when I travel here I will come again!

The smoked salmon roll gets five out of five stars. I've never had a better meal anywhere, not even on the Baltic Sea. Labskaus and Panfish are also highly recommended! Very courteous service here. Plus a very cozy, relaxed little restaurant. We are repeat offenders and will remain so!

It's super tiny so we opted for a take away even though the other plate dish seemed yummy, went for two Fischbrötchen (fish in a bun) one classic Bismarck Herring and one Deepfried, they were very nice, freshly prepared so not heavy like some pre-prepared venues are, the right amount of sauce to accompany the fish and still enjoy the quality of it without completing obliterating. Will go again to try some variations

We ordered fish and chips. Food was ok, a bit salty though. We wanted to sit under the sun, that’s why we’ve choosen the place. After 10 min of sitting waitress wanted to open the umbrella, when we asked her not to open since it’s not necessary, she replied us super rude saying, I’m only worker with minimum fare, I do what was told. So??? Chill bro we don’t want to know your daily life struggles!

Wow, we've found an absolutely fantastic find here. Small, quaint, affordable, delicious, and friendly service. Of our four evenings in Hamburg, we ate here three times. The staff was super friendly and very attentive. They swapped us to a suitable table, took our orders, and, of course, brought everything warm to our table. Especially the last waitress (sorry, I don't know her name), who was there on the evening of March 29th at 7:00 PM. We chatted briefly after the meal; it was authentic, honest, and good! Keep it up! Perhaps the owner can pass on the praise :-)

We were there two days in a row. Admittedly it's a bit cramped and you have to be lucky to get a seat - but that's part of the charm of the store! Be careful, there is no toilet (but you can go to the ice cream parlor next door for a small price) Absolute recommendation!

wir waren an eine dienstag abend in diesem wirklich kleinen engen fischjuwel, da kocht die mama und die tochter bedient auf engstem raum, man wird dadurch automatisch dazu gezwungen mit seinen sitznachbarn zu reden, was lustig ist… preislich ist es etwas teuer und leider gab es abends nicht mehr die ganze fischauswahl, aber qualitativ war alles top und super bratkartoffeln, gerne wieder, sehr authentisch

A small but very good fish snack. Everything is freshly prepared, even the tartar sauce is made in-house. Unfortunately there is not enough space as you cannot eat outside in winter. We come there every time we are in the Speicherstadt.

A must do, the server is very synaptic, very well received. Please note the place is very small, 4 tables, so quickly full. Possible to take away. And small problem, the menu was only available in German. But the dishes are delicious, the fresh fish is excellent. I recommend 200%.

Food and service good, only bar stools, a narrow high bench, small tables and everything was very cramped. I think the idea of ​​simply sticking the guests' reviews and greetings on the wall is great. The very manageable size of the restaurant is put to good use.
