Fisch & Co. in Hamburg

We were warned that it was quite narrow there. But the reality is even narrower (there are nine seats if I counted correctly and then it's really full). But everything else was excellent. Our fish grill plate was perfectly fried. Fried potatoes and salad were delicious and the portions were large. The cook and service staff, who worked in tandem, were attentive and super friendly. We wouldn't have gone in without the good reviews on Google. But it was worth it and it certainly wouldn't be the last time - when there's a spot available. 🧐🤣

There is also a large portion available to go! The fish plate was well prepared, the cardboard take-out bowl is good for a maximum of 15 minutes. The service was friendly, maybe just because you had to be..!?

Honest, rustic and fresh fish…extremely delicious!

Ate their Pannfisch. Was truly horrible. The mustard sauce tasted like American mustard out of the jar and diluted with water. The fish was not fresh and the potatoes tasteless and tired. Really surprised given the google score especially since the food of my other 5 companions was pretty average as well.

Ate crab rolls for the first time in my life. Immediately found it to be a SUPPER. Service, friendly, courteous and fast. Ambience, good, very narrow (max. 10 seats but authentic. We'll definitely be back.

There were two of us there and we were lucky enough to get a spot straight away. The atmosphere was really appealing, rustic and beautiful. The service was absolutely courteous, friendly and quick. The food also tasted very good! It was beautifully presented and tasted very good. Price/performance was also really good. In addition to the herring, which was excellent, the home-made fried potatoes were simply convincing. Next time in Hamburg we'll go there again!

A really great restaurant - small but nice. Price-performance is awesome and that for the city of Hamburg! The service is very nice and the food was great. And then there is the ambience. Cozy cabin with thousands of greetings and thank you messages on the wall. Little notes written by people from all over the world - really nice.

The crabs were missing for the North Sea crab roll and the kibbelinge as an alternative were also missing. My friend's fish sandwich had to be re-topped 3 times. Slightly overwhelmed, even though there are hardly any customers!

Fisch & Co was recommended by our tour guide. Food was good the method of service was less than optimal but it the end it worked ok. We sat outside on a nice sunny day and enjoyed the experience.

Very complicated, the billing process took until a simple fish sandwich was ordered. Then the wrong thing was done, but above all there was a mouse in the kitchen. Complete chaos broke out...

For me one of the best addresses to get a good fish sandwich. We are there regularly, if there is space (very, very small restaurant), then we also like to eat on site.

Hidden gem, along a street of rather more pricy establishments. Not much space to sit in and eat but nevertheless a constant queue out of the door. Everything we had was delicious. They asked us to order first, eat then pay which would have meant queuing up again - a bit of an inefficient system. Worth it for the food though!

Simple, delicious and freshly prepared Hamburger Panfish. More of a bistro than a restaurant. Unfortunately no card payment possible. Possibly also due to the amount limit. I didn't ask.

The food here is very, very tasty. The fried fish and the fish roll were mega. Unfortunately there is very little space in the house for eating. While I was waiting, I read the reviews hanging on the wall. It was really very nice and I will come again.

Very good fish served today. Had a fish and chips plate which was cooked very well. The restaurant is situated im the Deichstrasse, only 5 min footwalk from Speicherstadt and Miniaturwunderland. Bottomline, clear recommendation.

Very nice shop for a quick stopover. The interior is really cool and the little messages from visitors on the walls are a very nice idea. Unfortunately, instead of a fried fish roll, I had a fried fish with fried potatoes to go (possibly ordered incorrectly). But it was still delicious!

I ordered a grill plate. Everything was delicious, but later I found a hair in the salad. You had to bring the food to the table yourself and bring it back. The waitress forgot to tell us that food was ready, which is why everything was cold. In addition, the portions were different.

The worst fish sandwich. A piece of matjes 5x3 cm in a bun soaked in mayonnaise with a touch of lettuce leaf without onions, even though it says so on the menu. Simply an impudence. Hygiene in the kitchen leaves much to be desired. The dirty extractor hood should be cleaned.

Wir hatten während unserer Hamburg-Reise oft Backfisch probiert - hier war er am Besten, die Panade war nicht von diese Welt! Kleines authentisches Lokal mit nur wenigen Sitzplätzen. Speisen auch zum Mitnehmen.

Das Fisch & Co ist ein im wahrsten Sinne des Wortes „kleiner“ Geheimtipp in der Nähe der Speicherstadt. Ein kleines Bistro mit nur wenigen Sitzplätzen an kleinen Tischen und frischen leckeren Fischgerichten. Die Fish & Chips waren hervorragend, außen knusprig und innen zart und saftig. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder!

Quite nice! Relaxed atmosphere with a beautiful view of the Elbphilharmonie. Self-service! And rigorously, even if you give a tip you have to come to the small counter yourself and pick up your plate, even though there was actually nothing going on. Fish roll OK, a bit flabby.

Wir haben einen authentischen und urigen Laden in Hamburg versucht um Fisch zu essen und haben ihn absolut gefunden. Es ist ein winzig kleines Bistro das einfach nur super cool ist. Die Bedienung ist fantastisch der Innenraum ist einfach nur Mega und cool und urig und das Essen ist super lecker. Ich kann den Laden absolut empfehlen, wenn man einfach mal schnell was essen gehen möchte. Es ist weder Schickimicki noch Schampus trinken hier angesagt sondern ehrliche hanseatische Küche.

For us the perfect fish snack for a visit to Hamburg. The ambience is really great, especially inside, and has something very special about it. The selection isn't very big, but that didn't bother us as it has exactly what you'd expect from a fish snack bar. The food was super fresh and delicious! We'll be happy to come back the next time we visit Hamburg 😊⚓️

Had the fishbrochten and the fish nuggets to go both where excellent as the fish was good. Fries could have been a bit better but on the other hand they suit the dish served. Staff was friendly and polite. Overall jigjly recommended as they served traditional fish dishes.

It’s a tiny place with limited seating and mainly fish options in the menu… A very good and reasonable place to eat for fish lovers. In ordered Pannfish with Bratkartoffeln and salad. My husband is a vegetarian, the only option he had a small portion of salad with pommes 😬… I can recommend this place to fish lovers.

Went here with a group of 7 people after rainy weather. We were helped to clean the table outside and helped to open the umbrella when it rained briefly. We really liked the food, so we want to come back here again. The prices are very good for what you get :).

The fish tasted great! The fried potatoes weren't crispy, despite previous requests, and a bit too greasy, but still okay. Otherwise we thought it was great and would like to come back.

A really beautiful little “cabin”. The employee at the front was also really nice and did a really calm and perfect job despite the slight pressure from the small crowd. We were traveling in Hamburg and ended up here by chance. Small but very quaint. Just something completely different. The service was super friendly and in a good mood despite the stress. The food was really delicious and freshly prepared. We'll definitely take a look again next time we're in Hamburg
