Das Essen war fantastisch!! Es war schon spät am Abend und wir suchten noch nach einem Restaurant. Wir fanden dieses Restaurant und waren total begeistert! Der Kellner war sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich. Und das Essen war einfach köstlich!! Absolut empfehlenswert!

Für mich mit Abstand die beste Pizza in ganz Freiburg! Der Teig ist perfekt und sowieso glaube das einzige Restaurant die noch einen richtigen Holzofen haben. Man merkt einfach, dass hier mit Leidenschaft gekocht wird. Das Ambiente ist gemütlich und man fühlt sich fast wie in Italien. Einfach hammer Pizza!

Sehr leckeres Essen. Die Pizza und die Rigatoni wie in Italien. Im Hintergrund das italienische Radio. Der Preis war für Freiburger Verhältnisse mehr als ok. Wenn wir mal wieder da sind kommen wir wieder!

Hallo das essen war schlecht und der Salat ist zu halber Sand und die Nudeln sind wie im Gefängnis keine Soße und nur aus fett nicht weiter empfehlen

Sehr flotter freundlicher und unaufdringlicher Service. Leckere Pizza. Zum Mittagstisch unschlagbares Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Guter Espresso mit mit dem Geschmack von dunkler Schokolade aus einer richtig guten Siebträger Profi Maschine. Getränkepreise normal. Ganter Bier vom Fass. Wir waren positiv überrascht und sehr zufrieden. Sehr saubere und moderne Toiletten.

Super lecker diese Pizza und das leckere Bierchen mit netter Bedienung

Ich war mit meiner Familie in Freiburg essen. Das Essen war super, es hat sehr gut geschmeckt und die Bedienung war spitze. Der Kellner hat extra für meine Tochter kindgerechte Nudeln zubereitet es hat ihr richtig gut geschmeckt. Auch die Steinofen-Pizzen waren hervorragend. Sollte ich noch einmal nach Freiburg kommen, werde ich definitiv wieder dort vorbeischauen. Mir hat es gefallen kann es nur weiter empfehlen

Mit Abstand die schlechteste Pizzeria in Freiburg die pizza unterirdisch die pasta ferkocht hatten 5 pizzen zum mitnehmen 5 mal war Blut am Karton!!!!! vom koch echt widerlich!!! Und für eine pizza mit 3 Zutaten zwischen 15 und 18 Euro auf dem Niveau vom Döner mann an der ecke absolut übertrieben also echt schlecht von A bis Z niiiii wieder !!!!

Endlich gibt es das Casanova wieder. Leckeres Essen ist wieder gesichert. Das Capaccio ist einfach das beste ever und die Pizzen erst. Ach einfach alles lecker schmecker

Sind zum dritten Mal hier auf Durchreise nach Italien, tolles Essen mit typisch italienischem Inhaber. Essen ist super lecker, kann man nur empfehlen

Wow, hier gabs bestes Risotto ever, Freundin hatte eine Pizza, die schmeckte ihr sehr gut. Service aufmerksam und freundlich, Facility im UG sauber. Tischeservierung online hat super easy geklappt. Gastraum gehört aber u. E. mal auf Neuzeit gestaltet...aber das nur mal ein Gedanke. Speisen und Getränke Preislich im normalen Rahmen. Wir kommen sicher gerne bei einem nächsten Freiburg Date wieder 👍.

Der Service war unbefriedigend, gekennzeichnet durch Langsamkeit und ein kulinarisches Angebot, das die Erwartungen nicht erfüllte; das Personal war unhöflich.

Der Besitzer hat gewechselt bin gespannt soll eine neue Karte geben ,das vorherige Firenze war immer top. Wenn ich es ausprobiert habe gibt es eine richtige Bewertung

So weit sind wir noch nicht... manche Rezepte haben sich noch nicht verändert... Carbonara mit Sahne ist ausgeschlossen.

I saw a lovely large Capricciosa salad on the website and ordered one. But what did I find? A tiny salad, without artichokes, without mozzarella, without bread. A few lettuce leaves, tomatoes, and cucumbers for €8.50! That's unacceptable!

Firenze seems to have changed ownership, and I have to honestly admit it hasn't been good for it. Back then, I deliberately gave it 5 out of 5 stars… Unfortunately, the staff is no longer customer-oriented at all. You have to wait ages for menus (the staff prefers to clear tables before attending to customers…), and if a drink is out of stock, they just bring whatever it is. Mistakes aren't really addressed… It's a shame, because at least the old pizza chef is still there, and his pizzas are truly fantastic. But the pasta dishes are only a 1.5/5 now…

Absolutely terrible! On December 17, 2025, at 4:50 PM, I ordered a Funghi pizza to go. Only three tables were occupied, yet my pizza didn't arrive for 35 minutes. My repeated inquiries only elicited excuses like, "The pizza's coming soon," and "The cook is working alone." Instead of the regular Funghi, I received a small Margherita, still white and doughy around the edges. The breadsticks never arrived; they'd been forgotten when I ordered. I only received half-hearted apologies, but at least I got my money back after complaining. Despite the long wait, I wasn't offered a drink. On the plus side, I got my pizza faster than two of the tables that had ordered before me.

Authentic Italian food. We had two kinds of risotto and two pizzas. Inexpensive and delicious. Highly recommended.

Excellent service and food, a quiet place, we ordered pizza, pasta, lasagna and tiramisu for dessert, 100% recommended for those who are tired of flumne, jarret and bakoeffe.

We ate there at the end of our company outing and were completely satisfied. The value for money is excellent. The salads are fresh and crisp, and the pizzas are thin with a crispy crust, just as they should be. Everyone enjoyed the pasta; they serve authentic spaghetti carbonara. We had a lovely evening in a friendly Mediterranean atmosphere.

Arrogant and negative experience when I asked about the specifications of a dish.

I couldn't quite understand the owner's English, but the food was delicious and the portions were generous. The clams in the clam pasta were very fresh.

I've been there many times and have always been pleasantly surprised. A very authentic pizzeria with delicious food.

Unfortunately, the salad dressing (yogurt) was expired. After I complained, I received a vinegar/oil dressing that, unfortunately, consisted only of vinegar. I didn't want to go back and complain a second time. Too bad, now I have a stomachache...

Pizzas were tasty but sparingly topped. Of course it hasn't been there for a long time. Unfortunately, the Firenze as I knew it is no longer there. In terms of space it has become much smaller. Artichoke salad is no longer available. Other staff. I think the owner has also changed recently ten years. Price-wise it was quite okay

We went here to eat pizza. An old waiter came to us and started speaking Italian. Even though we didn't ask anything and said we didn't speak Italian, he continued speaking Italian. While we were trying to like something from the menu book, he frequently came and said something in Italian and tried to take the menu book from our hands in an angry manner. Pizzas arrived, pizzas were good. The man spoke no other language than Italian. Anyway ; We ate the pizza, went to pay the bill, and again he took the money from our hands with an angry attitude. We didn't tip because their attitude was inhumane. We left by paying the full bill. The old man was saying something nervously and in Italian behind us again. The old waiter ruined our entire dining experience.

Wir sind seit Jahrzehnten Stammgäste hier. Das Essen ist jedesmal erstklassig. Super Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Die Bedingungen sind super nett und teilweise echt authentisch italienisch. Das Ambiente ist auch sehr schön.

The garlic soup had a lot of oil. Neapolitan pizza is delicious, if done accurately but a little salty due to the ingredients. Prices are excellent for most dishes.

Appetizer platter took forever, but was still fridge cold. Banana wheat is a nice idea

My first experience was wonderful. When I arrived, I told the waiter that my father is lactose intolerant and asked if there was anything available for him on the menu. He promptly informed the owner of the restaurant, who was willing to prepare a lactose-free version of a pizza that was not on the menu. Despite the language barrier, they took great care to ensure that our requests were understood. We were between this restaurant and another, but the way they treated my father and the care they gave us convinced us to stay, and the food and drinks convinced us to come back. You should try the beer.

A very cozy Italian restaurant in Freiburg where I had an excellent lunch. I had spaghetti carbonara (as it should be without cream and with hearty bacon), with a fresh mixed salad with a tasty dressing. The waitress, apparently the boss, was very friendly and cordial. The price-performance ratio is absolutely fine, for the pasta, a mixed salad, a cola, an apple spritzer (both 0.4 l.) and an espresso it was significantly less than 30 euros). I will be happy to come here again on my next visit to Freiburg.

We visited this restaurant three times during our stay in Freiburg. Every time the food was very good. Delicious pizza, pork fillet and great schnitzel. During one of the visits the waiter was probably quite exhausted because he served all the guests alone, at least when we were there. Today he seemed fresh and rested with a typical Italian temperament. It was fun to eat here. We would like to thank you for three eventful, impressive and enjoyable evenings.

A small and very comfortably furnished Italian restaurant. Incredibly nice waitress and the service was great. I had the spaghetti with seafood and it was by far the best I've eaten in Germany for a long time. Very good house wine and all at a fair price. I'll eat here more often now when I'm there for work :-)

As with mecces, food tastes good and you have that great feeling when you take the first bite, but at the end you think... Prices are okay. And most importantly, like with Mcäs. Always open and working. And for nostalgia, it's like it used to be when Freiburg was still small.

I have been coming to Firenze on and off for many years, in fact for over 20 years. The food is good and the prices are reasonable. The waiter is the same as 20 years ago, very friendly and attentive. The only annoying thing on the last visit was that the waiter complained to his chef in Italian with a friendly smile that he "only" got a tip of €2.50 on a bill of €37. This is unprofessional and inappropriate. I'll still go again, just for the tradition.

It was with the organized Tour and I didn't really like the food, maybe it was the Tour's fault.

Ordered 2 pizzas to take away. Let's put it this way. If you seriously think this is good pizza, you also think Chicken McNuggets is the finest chicken. Cheese is absolute industrial waste and salami is a crime against common sense. So: If you are on the verge of starvation and can only walk 3 more meters, you should like to eat here. The waiter does the rest. Screams like a madman and can't remember two things. I give it 2 stars because I've already had 2 beers in it and I'm mild!

Please clean the windows from the outside. (just a good tip) at first we thought it was closed. Then we had friendly service. We had a green and mixed salad and spaghetti carbonara and tagliatelle al salmone in advance. The food came quickly and was good.

Awesome Pizza, need to Go there again

Went there spontaneously and had reserved in advance by phone. Unfortunately, after we arrived there wasn't enough space for us. We finally got a place in the far corner next to the kitchen, well not the best place but at least a place. Unfortunately, our 5 pizzas barely fit on the table because it was so small. Unfortunately, feeling good is something different. The food was good so far, unfortunately my pizza was very greasy in contrast to the other pizzas. Unfortunately the second round of drinks was forgotten so we ended up leaving very quickly. A pity.

A no go! The waiter is a fool who can't remember the order for two people but doesn't write it down either. Was served the wrong food 3 times. The salad in the sauce dream and the pasta loveless, the pizza tasteless despite the bacon. The lasagna at the next table was cold. And that's just the short version. At times we suspected hidden cameras.

Pizza very good, the waiter is a character in himself, but makes the evening an experience, overall a restaurant to come back to :)
