One of the friendliest service staff I have ever encountered in Germany. Diverse menu and a nice change from traditional wirtshäuser to fine vegetarian, vegan and non pork options. My salmon was a touch too oily for me but excellent quality all in all. Will be recommending this place to friends and will be visiting again.

Since I've only had a drink here so far, I can't say much, but I would like to say that there are only a few restaurants in Munich where such nice and attentive service staff work. I am happy!

A nice selection of dishes and above all very tasty and really ok in terms of price. Service was also very nice. So there's nothing to complain about :). Would love to come back

So first of all, the stand-up bar was a success! The service is top, fast and friendly. The cuisine was very good and the portions, spinach sparrows and roulade were sufficient. And tasteful. To the management: Consider taking away or picking up the great food, to introduce packaging. Greetings from a neighbor. And the prices are ok for Munich. Ned, I know where other people go out to eat in Munich, but they think it's too expensive? But at Fesch everything is perfect, ambience, cuisine, service! Keep it up ! Little things that few people complain about will definitely be fixed.

What’s happening here? Probably the food and the place itself it’s good but the service was terrible! We were completely ignored by the waitress a lot of times (?) and we had to left without any chance to order..

Absolute disaster. Table reserved for 3 people from 8.30 p.m. Were there at around 8:10 p.m. Waiting wouldn't have been a problem at all. The staff then skilfully ignored them instead of asking. After about 10 minutes, banky assigned us our table. We then took a seat at the table reserved for us. 5 minutes later the waitress came, brought drinks for the next table, cleared away our empty glasses and gave us the menu. Well so far. The waitress left again, then came out again to clear the empty plates at the next table. We wanted to order drinks, but she didn't notice us or was simply overwhelmed. After waiting for 20 minutes, the boss came to at least take our drinks, which in turn took another 20 minutes from the time we took the order until we received them. Completely incomprehensible to me because the boss came back to our table about 5 minutes after we ordered the drinks to ask us what we wanted to eat. It would have been professional to go to the bar, tell the bar waiter: Please make the drinks for the table now and then..... they've been waiting forever to bring the drinks and then ask for the food. We ordered food at 8:40 p.m.: Gröstl, spinach cheese spaetzle and grilled sausages on sauerkraut. I'm assuming that the spinach spaetzle was already pre-produced, as were the roast pork and dumplings that are part of the gröstl. I also assume that the sauerkraut is not just picked up from the Viktualienmarkt when it is ordered, that the sausages are already in the cold store or in the kitchen in the cooling drawer and not on display at the butcher. If none of this applies, you should consider working with kitchen professionals who know how pre-production, advertising and sequencing work. The fact is that at 9:30 p.m. we still had nothing to eat and when we asked we were told: I'll ask. What happened was that the waitress went in and came out with 2 roast pork without informing us. We only got the information when she had finished serving the table. Statement: The food is still coming. After well over 50 minutes we didn't want to go anymore. We told the waitress that we didn't want to eat anymore and would like to pay for our drinks. She disappeared again with the words: I have to ask. The boss then came and asked if he should cancel the meal, which we said yes. No: I'm sorry etc...... Boss then left again. Shortly afterwards he came back with the statement: Your food is in the pan right now, but you don't want it anymore? Right, we want to pay for the drinks and leave. Whoosh, boss gone again. So we sat there again and this time we couldn't pay. In the meantime, however, he walked past a few times to other tables, as did the waitress. My two companions then went in to finally be able to pay. Professionalism definitely looks different. On the one hand, it would make sense to employ staff who know their job. It's no use at all if a service person can carry a full tray of drinks but is completely overwhelmed by the number of guests. There should have been a runner here who would carry out drinks and food and nothing else. The boss, I'm just assuming that the gentleman with the Hawaiian shirt was the boss, should be trained again in hospitality. At least go to the guests and point out that the kitchen is very busy at the moment and that the meal may take a while today... etc. But only do this at tables that were obviously known to him and just let the other guests sit To me, it shows amateurism or simply a lack of interest. Should now come as a reaction: We had problems with the toilet that was overflowing, service was new, we were surprised by the volume after the demo......etc, then you are not professionals.

We took part in the demo and reserved a table at Fesch as a precaution because I was looking forward to a nice evening. But the evening was a complete failure. The operator (supposedly part of the queer community) was poorly prepared for this special event. We were not shown to our table, but had to find it ourselves with the unprofessional advice to sit “somewhere where the sign with your reservation name is”. After 20 minutes of waiting we still hadn't been able to place an order. When we finally asked over the phone, there was no apology, just the answer: “Sorry, toilet clogged, had to do with that.” The waiter finally appeared and took our order. The drinks didn't come until 20 minutes later. After another 40 minutes without food we asked. The answer was simply: “302. I’ll see, I’m coming.” After 1.5 hours we left the restaurant still hungry. The waiter claimed that the food was “now” in the pan – after over an hour (1 hour and 40 minutes)! There was no apology and we even had to pay for the drinks. This is unacceptable and a bitter disappointment. I used to like being on the fence, but this incident has permanently damaged trust. PS: After us, other guests also left hungry. There was no excuse for her either.

Everything in this restaurant is the best... the food and the exceptional service!!.. an excellent German food experience.

By Korean standards, the food is very salty... It took a while from the time I first walked in the door to being shown to my seat. One of the servers pretended not to know what I was seeing, so it ended up being the owner? Someone ordered and showed me to my seat. Other people were friendly, but there was no communication between menu orders at all.

The inn looks chic and inviting inside and out. The staff is friendly and the food is delicious. The price is okay for Munich standards. A big disadvantage is the location. We sat outside in the summer and the noise from the street is pretty unbearable after a while.

I come to fesch regularly and always enjoy it. The food is good and typically South German/Austrian, but what is particularly noteworthy is the service there. You can hardly be more friendly and attentive than the tall, dark-haired waiter (unfortunately I don't know his name, he speaks the dialect). I rarely experience it in this form anywhere else!

Service great, but EXCESSIVELY expensive and poor quality Response to the owner's comment: It may be that something suits you, but I won't test my way through the entire menu in order to perhaps land a lucky find at some point. The evening I was there I had the Wiener Schnitzel, the breading was soggy, the meat had too much tendon and was dry and tough. The cranberries also looked like they came from a jam jar and had way too much jelly (cheap!). The whole thing for over €20, I was really disappointed, so I'll pass this on to potential customers as my individual experience and won't come here again

We had two different salads. Looks lush and tasty. Very nice and quick service. We (unfortunately) sat outside. That was rather unpleasant, a lot of traffic and quite loud. But well, it was our own fault. Overall, happy again.

The snuff noodle pan was super tasty, I can only recommend it! Very pleasant relaxed atmosphere. We were completely satisfied.

We are here regularly. With one of the best roast pork in Munich. Service is always extremely attentive, friendly, relaxed and professional. I would nominate Korbi as the best waiter in Munich.

Price/performance for the city center is very acceptable. Service attentive and friendly. The food tasted good. But please put the cinnamon roll on the menu again :-).

Class! Everything is just right here. You feel very comfortable at Fesch and very valued as a guest. Always friendly and accommodating, both in the stand-up bar and in the restaurant. Perfect place for (my) after-work beer.

Thanks for the great evening. We have been a lot of people that evening and everybody loved the Fesch. From great food to great service, being in a nice location, you gave us a great safe place to talk and enjoy our evening.

Absolute feeling of well-being, as a Munich child I can say that it is the most beautiful Augustiner tavern in all of Munich. The service is excellent, you get good advice and, above all, the food is a poem, from Munich schnitzel to roast pork to Obatzda and liver dumpling soup, everything is lovingly prepared and really good. All main courses can also be chosen as small portions :) and on Fridays at Sieben Augustiner from a wooden barrel, what more could you want? Will definitely be a regular place ♥️ Tasteful furnishings and simply warm. 100% recommended.

Really great food and friendly staff!

We've been there once so far and it was just great. The food was delicious and the service was simply great! It's a bit expensive, but I'm happy to pay a little more for such a great, all-round, worry-free package.

The fesch is super centrally located, in the middle of the Glockenbachviertel. The food is typical of a pub. But it tastes particularly delicious here and, in my opinion, interpreted in a more modern way. I especially liked the tomato dumplings. But the spinach cashew dumplings are also really good. I like to go here with my colleagues before our counter service at sub. Fesch is queer-run and therefore ideal for this occasion. There are also gender-neutral toilets on the ground floor and it's really great to see how committed the dash is.

You can always choose to eat with friends, good cuisine, fair prices, cozy atmosphere.

Reservation online was perfect and easy Rooms are clear and therefore cozy and fine. Roast pork was a huge portion with 2 pieces of meat and was excellently cooked and delicious. Service friendly, fast and empathetic. The visit was worth it. Thank you

Celebrated Carnival 🎊... it was nice

Nice inn, with good food and pleasant service. Were there with a voucher book, order two dishes, pay for one. According to the service worker, she was given instructions to interpret the note in the book "Favorite dish of the kitchen: Roast pork from the Bavarian straw pig" to the guests as meaning that the second, free dish had to be roast pork. The waitress still let us order whatever we wanted, which I think was completely right.

It's really smart, the former Moro. I think the concept with the separate standing area is a good idea and the fact that beer is also available at a slightly cheaper price in this area is only logical. The crowd is diverse, the service is courteous and the staff is very friendly.

The food is delicious, the crowd is very mixed and the staff is very attentive and friendly. Reservations are advisable in the evening.

Absolute recommendation. Great food, with very tasty vegetarian options, in a modern pub atmosphere. The service has always been super friendly and accommodating. Nice enrichment not only for the queer Munich community. In addition to great food, you can also relax and drink a beer at the stand-up bar.

On Fridays there is draft beer at the back bar.

Update 01/16/24 Unfortunately I now have to deduct a star because of the Stehausschank. At the beginning it was really great there. But now, among other things, birthday parties are taking place there, and no consideration is given to guests who are already there. Furthermore, the normal menu is now offered in this area. That no longer has anything to do with standing taverns. It's a shame, it used to be a great concept. Have been to the Stehausschank several times (excellent beer service) and now also for dinner. What can I say, nothing to complain about, on the contrary! Spinach and cheese spaetzle that deserve the name, wonderfully cheesy, fluffy and a great fresh side salad. A roast pork like you have to look for for a long time these days! Strongly seasoned with real crust and natural sauce (no packaging stuff)! Service very pleasant, attentive and friendly! We will be back!!

Die Lage ist top, schöne Ambiente, war am Abend voll, deswegen Reservierung empfohlen. Personal freundlich und aufmerksam. Essen leider lauwarm und eher durchschnittlich, trotzdem zu empfehlen.

Schön dort vor allem die Atmosphäre. Tolle Gastlichkeit und und angenehmes Publikum.

tolles Konzept, sehr leckeres Essen und die beste Bedienung, die mir in 2023 begegnet ist. Zu 2. den ganzen Laden freundlich und umsichtig im Griff zu haben, schaffen andere nicht zu 4. ! Danke „Diva“ für deine charmante und zuvorkommende Bedienung! Deine Perfektion dabei ist inzwischen leider fast einzigartig!!

Der Laden ist etwas kalt eingerichtet, aber dafür macht das Personal mit seinem Charm wieder wett. Sehr herzlicher Umgang, gutes Essen und solides Preis-Leistung-Verhältnis. Ich würde wieder hingehen :)

Hell, modern, innen fühlt es sich ein bisschen kühl an - aber der freundliche Service macht‘s wieder wett. Die Karte ist ausreichend umfangreich, wenn auch etwas gehoben; bayerisches Wirtshaus in München halt. Die Lage ist top, bei passendem Wetter gibt‘s auch Plätze im Freien. Tipp: Im kleineren Gastraum fühlt‘s sich etwas gemütlicher an: da sitzt man nicht im langgestreckten Hauptraum und es ist dort auch weniger Platz - somit weniger Tische.

Update: das Essen ist wirklich unterdurchschnittlich, zu teuer, kleine Portionen und nichts ist wirklich frisch. Wir waren zu viert dort und alle Gerichte waren gerade mal ok. Würde nicht mehr zum Essen hingehen. Schade. War am Sonntag das erste mal dort. Atmosphäre, Essen und auch das Personal waren tip top. Etwas frischer als der Vorgänge, aber letztlich die gleiche Ausrichtung. Gut gemacht!

Love this place. When we arrived it very busy and no tables available so we were asked to wait by the bar. The owner who was serving behind the bar was so welcoming and friendly and made suggestions for German wine. Once we got our table the food was delicious. It was such a buzzing warm environment. Probably my favourite experience. Definitely recommend.

Das Essen finde ich vom Preis Leistungsverhältnis nicht so gut, aber das freundliche Personal, das schöne Ambiente und das angenehme Publikum reißt es wieder raus. Der Stehausschank ist eine tolle Idee hier kann man entspannt auf ein Bier vorbei schauen.

Schnitzel leider nicht wie auf den Bildern sondern perfekt geformte Fritteusen Schnitzel. Geschmacklich langweilig aber" der Hunger treibt's rein". Für 20 Euro kann man sogar im Glockenbach etwas mehr erwarten. Service is super und Ambiente passt auch!

Tolles, und immer volles Lokal mit gutem Essen und sehr freundlichem Personal. Die Preise sind ok. Das Lokal ist sehr gut erreichbar und die Tram fast vor der Tür. Hier kann man gut hingehen.

While I haven't had the chance to sample the food, which appears to be on the pricier side, I absolutely adore the ambiance in this Wirtshaus that also serves as a bar. The staff here are incredibly friendly and attentive. Inclusivity is key.

Tolles Ambiente und freundlicher Service. Das Essen konnte uns leider nicht 100-prozentig überzeugen, da das Essen etwas zu säuerlich abgeschmeckt war (sowohl Kartoffelsalat als auch normaler Beilagensalat) und der Flammlachs recht trocken war.
