Alois' Wirtshaus in München

We were there with 18 people. The food came really quickly, it didn't even take a beer, even though it was really full. I had the quarter duck and then the Kaiserschmarrn for dessert. The food was really the best, I was in food heaven🥰 At the end there was a small raspberry, the schnapps was really delicious. We registered again for next year straight away. I love traditional food in a local atmosphere, here you can get both at their best. Thank you for the delicious food and the lovely evening 🥰

Roast pork very good, Wiener Schnitzel very disappointing

Top service and food, and coped very well with our large group! Thanks a lot for the great evening, the dinner was a highlight for our sports team.

We wanted something good to eat and drink after the football game and were sent away with the excuse that everything was reserved. The restaurant was apparently very empty and there were a lot of tables without reservations.

I would like to add to your review answer: We were still shopping in the area. After we got back, there were maybe 10 - 15 people more in your location. I would have drunk my lager long ago. It's all a question of communication. Or was it the wrong club scarf???

I had crispy roast pork, he was so good 9.5/10 And the apple cakes were the best I've ever had warm and with cold vanilla ice cream 10/10 I would order it again every time. My sister had the sweet potato fries by far the best I've ever had. My mother's Cordom bleu was also delicious and the fries were highly recommended.

The "Alois" are definitely two very warm owners who not only put a lot of effort into providing their guests with a delicious, culinary and Bavarian delicacy, but who also manage to do it charmingly and deliciously!! ==> Definitely a RECOMMENDATION!

Delicious food and drinks. We tried the 1/2 duck and the veal schnitzel. The staff was also friendly. The only thing to complain about is the volume, but it probably can't be avoided.

Simply ideal for a visit to the arena. 30 minutes walk to the stadium. The food was excellent and very filling. The service was also very polite despite the stress (which is understandable before an international match). I remember the address.

A varied menu. I really enjoyed the lumberjack steak with very well-seasoned fried potatoes and fried onion rings. The portion was extremely generous. The second dish was a very fresh salad with a good salad dressing and very tasty schnitzel strips. The staff is very friendly and attentive. We will come back! We came back and this time the food was again very good. The roast pork with crust and dumplings in dark beer sauce and oh the Munich Corden Bleu with Obazden were once again absolutely well prepared.

We were here before a Bayern game - unannounced - with a group of around 20 people and were received very hospitably (but we were lucky, later all the seats were occupied). The service was always very friendly and we were always served very quickly. We ate very well and were satisfied across the board. Date: September 21st, 2024 around 5:50 p.m Ladies and Gentlemen Today we ordered drinks from your restaurant: a Wiesn Helles, a coffee and a mineral water. The waiter asked us if he could collect immediately. We assumed he was getting off work, so we paid immediately. However, to our amazement, we found that the same waiter continued to serve other guests without immediately collecting. This incident leads us to suspect that guests with a migrant background are not welcome in your restaurant. Because of this experience, I will no longer visit your restaurant in the future and will not recommend it to my friends and acquaintances

It's a small, beautiful, lively Bavarian location with really great, delicious and freshly prepared food. We had beef broth with pancakes, roast pork with dumplings, dark beer sauce, coleslaw and a Bavarian cordon bleu filled with Obazten, fried onions and a side dish of potato and cucumber salad. Really very very tasty. There are also a few tables in front of the location that are simply beautiful and very nice. The host and service staff are helpful and very friendly. Unfortunately I was disappointed. Ordered two dishes and a salad. According to the Lieferando display, the delivery person was once at the other end of the city before he delivered our order. The food was lukewarm at best and my beef goulash had expired. The Hungarian-style beef goulash was not Hungarian-style, i.e. without potatoes and tomatoes, but just meat with sauce and spaetzle. Too bad.

Pretty nice economy. My food wasn't even that bad. The portion was so small that you couldn't get enough.

We really enjoy going here for a final meal with our trade fair team after events at M. O. C. or Zenith. The food is very good and very tasty. Everything is always served together. Super nice staff.

Very tasty food and really large portions, but in my opinion (maybe it's because I'm not from Munich and it's more expensive here per se?) the prices are also quite high. IMHO it's a matter of consideration, but still in order to treat yourself to something.

We ate there today during our stay for the Taylor Swift concert. We sat in the beautiful beer garden. Very large chestnut trees provided pleasant shade. The waitress was super sweet and very quick. The food came quickly and was amazing. We had pork crackling with a crust that was beyond anything. Absolute madness and schnitzel Viennese style which was also a poem. But the absolute highlight was the first-class Kaiserschmarrn. It's good that the menu says it's for 2 people. We paid by card and walked back to the hotel very full and very satisfied.

RACISM IS LIVING IN THIS PLACE Don’t go Our visit to this place was extremely disappointing. Despite ordering early, we had to wait an unreasonable amount of time for our two schnitzel dishes. Meanwhile, other tables who ordered after us received their meals well before we did. It became clear that the manager, who seemed preoccupied with cost issues, was responsible for the delays. What made the experience even worse was the manager's inappropriate and offensive behavior. After we complained about the wait, he not only made unwelcome physical contact with us, seemingly trying to instigate a fight, but also demonstrated clear racist tendencies. He prioritized serving other guests based on discriminatory preferences. Given the poor service, disturbing behavior, and apparent racism, I cannot recommend this restaurant. Look elsewhere for a respectful and pleasant dining experience. If this place is in US the manger would spend the night at the police station PS : we paid the full amount of money and left the food there . ----------------------------------------------- Reply on Owner comment : on July 2nd at 9:15 pm we ordered the food from the guy who serve he was wearing black in black and I advice you to roll back the camera and check on your employee behavior when we JUST asked him why our food not been served in order. at 10:05 pm he was making a physical touch with us and start yelling all the customers are the eye witness accounts of his behavior . telling me that I'm lying is very disrespectful instead questioning your employee . In a traffic-calmed area with outdoor seating. Free parking nearby. Everything was clean, very nice host, clear menu with delicious dishes. Unfortunately no pictures were taken. We'd love to come back.

First of all, I would like to write that we have eaten with you many times and have also held smaller family celebrations and have always been very satisfied. The food was always very good and so was the service. We were there last Sunday but unfortunately we were very disappointed this time. It was the afternoon, the beer garden was closed and there were only two free tables in the blazing sun on the forecourt in front of the entrance. Since I'm no longer allowed to stay in the sun for health reasons, we went inside. Everything inside was empty and we looked for a comfortable place. The waiter came, took the order and was then reprimanded by the boss on the way to the counter as to why guests were sitting inside when there were still seats available outside and he should tell the guests when they came in that they should sit outside if there were still seats available. Of course, the whole thing was at a volume that we noticed. I don't think it's unreasonable if you feel uncomfortable as a guest there. But unfortunately that was just the beginning. After about half an hour, several tables inside were occupied and they gradually got their food, but we didn't. When we asked after an hour we were told that unfortunately we had been forgotten. I then canceled the food order for time and hunger reasons and we went to the Italian neighbor. We were allowed to sit wherever we wanted and within 10 minutes we had the food (okay, no trick with pizza). Since I haven't given a review in the past and it would be unfair to give one star now because of a bad day, I'm giving the 5 stars that you definitely deserve from the past. I hope it works better next time (if desired).

Yesterday I was treated as a guest in an absolutely unprofessional manner. I've never experienced anything like that. We were looking forward to the second football game again. This time the game was shown in the beer garden. Unfortunately, due to the sun, we couldn't really see much on the screen. Which I also told the waitress. The gentleman then started insulting me wildly, which made me think of expressing my opinion, that would probably be an impertinence and I should stay at home next time. It actually still works. Two components of the food I ordered were forgotten. How embarrassing is that. But don't worry, I can happily do without such a great host because as a guest you can expect to check the conditions beforehand. And you shouldn't take out your bad mood or whatever your problem was on your guests. Never ever Hello Alois

We went to this restaurant before a football game with a large group of 25 people. We reserved a table in advance. We ordered draft beer and the owner brought us non-alcoholic bottled beer. We noticed this deception by chance, after which the owner became rude and insulted us. Then he said that he would decide what to bring us and how much we should drink. We haven't experienced such blatant lies, rude treatment and disrespect towards guests in a long time. Simply the worst place in Munich.

Visited the restaurant because of the good reviews and were not disappointed. Main courses were all great and the Kaiserschmarrn was a dream. The team was super nice and very quick. Definitely coming back when we are in Munich.

Friendly service, nice atmosphere, and reasonable prices. Of course it tastes good too. I've ordered several dishes, but it's so good that I don't have anything to point out. As soon as I was seated, I ordered a drink and the setup was completed in less than 5 minutes. I couldn't help but laugh at the owner's kind and comical words. You could eat outside the restaurant, but the seats were already full so we had to eat inside by the window. The atmosphere of eating while watching the sunset was very nice. This is a restaurant worth recommending nearby. If you go early enough and choose a seat outside the restaurant or by the window, I think you can enjoy the ambiance as a bonus. It was a very satisfying meal.

After a long day in the city, we were looking for a delicious meal and a cozy inn that was away from the typical tourist area. By chance we ended up in this nice inn and would go back immediately as soon as we were back in town. The taste and service are great, hence 5 stars.

Super great inn that also delivers. Always order by phone or via Facebook. Authentic Bavarian cuisine is served here. I would highly recommend ordering for delivery or pickup to anyone. Friendly, nice and courteous employees. Our drinks were ice cold: great in summer. Our food: The cordon bleu with fries was, like the delivery service, tip top and very tasty 😋. The price-performance ratio is clearly right. We were disappointed with the grill plate: 10 croquettes and 3 small pieces of meat with vegetables that "A" wasn't on the menu, "B" wasn't to our taste and so the croquettes and meat on the plate naturally detracted from everything. €24.90 is not possible here. My tip: Just mention the vegetables on the menu, because if they aren't on it, then at €24.90 you're assuming a slightly larger portion. Not everyone likes green beans, zucchini, peppers and broccoli. I can highly recommend you, but there is clearly room for improvement when it comes to grill plates. Mock roast, red cabbage, goulash, fries, cordon bleu, schnitzel: you definitely get an A with ⭐️. Greetings Markus

We had an excellent time and this was our favorite meal in Munich. Authentic bavarian cuisine in a nice location with outdoor seating in a nice neighborhood away from the center of town. Service made us feel very welcome, excellent hospitality. Gebackener Camembert was excellent and surprisingly hard to find elsewhere. Hope to return soon.

A very nice place to stay with the family with good food and friendly service

The owner verbally attacked and insulted me because an employee only tried to apologize for the problem with the order. What was particularly problematic was that there was a small child there and he cried afterwards. Considerate behavior, especially when children are present, should actually be considered good manners. The food was also mediocre, there are better alternatives in Munich. The service staff and the quality of the food did not meet my expectations, especially after the many good reviews.

We were there again today for the FC Bayern game. The Alois Wirtshaus is, so to speak, our regular restaurant. We come here very often. We always enjoy coming back. Food is always perfect and very tasty Great friendliness and great atmosphere Treated like friends, someone always comes and asks if everything is ok Drinks and food are served quickly We love the Alois Wirtshaus, one of the best restaurants we know. The staff as well as the boss are all super friendly and really great, you feel very comfortable. One of my favorite waitresses, my Pearl Sabrina, is always in a great mood and so sweet.

We really enjoyed our delicious Wiener Schnitzel. For once, as young parents, all four hands were free as Tobias from the inn took over feeding our little daughter. She and her parents had a great time!

Down-to-earth food. For comparison I used the same thing to test. Schnitzel Viennese style always works. Schnitzel came out of the breakdown. Fries were middle class. There's a lot going on at Bayern home games. Food and service was great and the kitchen worked.
