Lovely authentic Bavarian restaurant. Would highly recommend, food was great, portions were generous to say the least! Service was quick and pleasant (female blonde server was really lovely! sorry can’t remember the name!) would highly recommend especially if staying in the Ameron hotel as it’s a quick walk to the restaurant. Will definitely be back here again soon.

We wanted to go out for dinner spontaneously and found this good, rustic restaurant. The service was great, friendly and very accommodating. The food was great and the price-performance ratio was right. Anyone who likes good food is very well served here. We'd love to come back.

Very disappointed experience. The place is ok, the food is good too, but here is what happened: I called to reserve a table for 6pm for 4 people to have a pleasant dinner with a friend who we didn't see for 11 years. They said ok, confirmed. We showed up on time, when they informed us that we should leave the table at 8pm because they have another reservation from then. We had to wait pretty long for our food, so we only had about an hour to finish our dinner. About 7:30pm a lady came to our table and reminded us to leave at 8 - stressing us to hurry with our dinner. Shortly before 8pm the waiter came suggesting to finish. We had to pay and leave. We couldn't even have dessert, caffee or another beer (or talk and enjoy ourselves). This shouldn't be the way to handle your guests.

Burgers are delicious and the staff is very friendly.

Top pub, four of us were there without a reservation, but thank God we still got a seat, it was a lovely evening. The food was good but the hospitality from our waiter was particularly commendable. Super attentive, the glasses were rarely empty, created a good atmosphere, great :)

A real Bavarian experience – 5 stars with asterisks! This is the second time we have been to this wonderful Bavarian inn with a group of 20 people, and once again everything from A to Z was perfect! The cozy atmosphere, combined with genuine hospitality, makes this place very special. The food was to die for! Particularly noteworthy: the tender roast pork with a crispy crust, the golden brown schnitzels and the delicious cordon bleu - all freshly prepared, prepared with a lot of love and absolutely perfect in terms of taste. Plus the classic, perfectly coordinated side dishes such as dumplings, gravy and coleslaw. You can literally taste the quality and passion of the cuisine! Despite our large group, the service ran smoothly: the waitresses were very friendly, quick and attentive - everyone was taken care of at the same time and no wishes were left unfulfilled. This is truly an impressive achievement on this scale! For us, this inn is the epitome of Bavarian hospitality: excellent food, a great ambience and a team that does everything to make its guests feel completely at home. Called spontaneously on a Saturday afternoon and got a table. For Munich and the surrounding area it is often very difficult to get anything at all. We had the Cordon Bleu, and changes are welcome. Culinary glimmer of hope in Freimann: Solid Bavarian cuisine in a rustic atmosphere and courteous service. By far the best restaurant in an otherwise sadly culinary district. Note: Occasionally very crowded on game evenings (FC Bayern). I am a regular guest here, highly recommended!

Sorry, I don't understand why I gave a one star rating. ? We were very happy with the food offered. The food stands out from the usual pizzerias, Greeks... The dishes are appetizingly garnished on interesting plates. The sight immediately triggers an appetite. The portions are perfect. The service is very friendly and you immediately feel 'at home'. Since we often travel from Berlin, this is our favorite pub, as they say in Berlin. Gladly again

We were there with 18 people. The food came really quickly, it didn't even take a beer, even though it was really full. I had the quarter duck and then the Kaiserschmarrn for dessert. The food was really the best, I was in food heaven🥰 At the end there was a small raspberry, the schnapps was really delicious. We registered again for next year straight away. I love traditional food in a local atmosphere, here you can get both at their best. Thank you for the delicious food and the lovely evening 🥰

I had crispy roast pork, he was so good 9.5/10 And the apple cakes were the best I've ever had warm and with cold vanilla ice cream 10/10 I would order it again every time. My sister had the sweet potato fries by far the best I've ever had. My mother's Cordom bleu was also delicious and the fries were highly recommended.

A varied menu. I really enjoyed the lumberjack steak with very well-seasoned fried potatoes and fried onion rings. The portion was extremely generous. We were here before a Bayern game - unannounced - with a group of around 20 people and were received very hospitably (but we were lucky, later all the seats were occupied). The service was always very friendly and we were always served very quickly. We ate very well and were satisfied across the board. Date: September 21st, 2024 around 5:50 p.m Ladies and Gentlemen Today we ordered drinks from your restaurant: a Wiesn Helles, a coffee and a mineral water. The waiter asked us if he could collect immediately. We assumed he was getting off work, so we paid immediately. However, to our amazement, we found that the same waiter continued to serve other guests without immediately collecting. This incident leads us to suspect that guests with a migrant background are not welcome in your restaurant. Because of this experience, I will no longer visit your restaurant in the future and will not recommend it to my friends and acquaintances

It's a small, beautiful, lively Bavarian location with really great, delicious and freshly prepared food. We had beef broth with pancakes, roast pork with dumplings, dark beer sauce, coleslaw and a Bavarian cordon bleu filled with Obazten, fried onions and a side dish of potato and cucumber salad. Really very very tasty. There are also a few tables in front of the location that are simply beautiful and very nice. The host and service staff are helpful and very friendly. Unfortunately I was disappointed. Ordered two dishes and a salad. According to the Lieferando display, the delivery person was once at the other end of the city before he delivered our order. The food was lukewarm at best and my beef goulash had expired. The Hungarian-style beef goulash was not Hungarian-style, i.e. without potatoes and tomatoes, but just meat with sauce and spaetzle. Too bad.

Pretty nice economy. My food wasn't even that bad. The portion was so small that you couldn't get enough.

We ate there today during our stay for the Taylor Swift concert. We sat in the beautiful beer garden. Very large chestnut trees provided pleasant shade. The waitress was super sweet and very quick. The food came quickly and was amazing. We had pork crackling with a crust that was beyond anything. Absolute madness and schnitzel Viennese style which was also a poem. But the absolute highlight was the first-class Kaiserschmarrn. It's good that the menu says it's for 2 people. We paid by card and walked back to the hotel very full and very satisfied.

RACISM IS LIVING IN THIS PLACE Don’t go Our visit to this place was extremely disappointing. Despite ordering early, we had to wait an unreasonable amount of time for our two schnitzel dishes. Meanwhile, other tables who ordered after us received their meals well before we did. It became clear that the manager, who seemed preoccupied with cost issues, was responsible for the delays. What made the experience even worse was the manager's inappropriate and offensive behavior. After we complained about the wait, he not only made unwelcome physical contact with us, seemingly trying to instigate a fight, but also demonstrated clear racist tendencies. He prioritized serving other guests based on discriminatory preferences. Given the poor service, disturbing behavior, and apparent racism, I cannot recommend this restaurant. Look elsewhere for a respectful and pleasant dining experience. First of all, I would like to write that we have eaten with you many times and have also held smaller family celebrations and have always been very satisfied. The food was always very good and so was the service. We were there last Sunday but unfortunately we were very disappointed this time. It was the afternoon, the beer garden was closed and there were only two free tables in the blazing sun on the forecourt in front of the entrance. Since I'm no longer allowed to stay in the sun for health reasons, we went inside. Everything inside was empty and we looked for a comfortable place. The waiter came, took the order and was then reprimanded by the boss on the way to the counter as to why guests were sitting inside when there were still seats available outside and he should tell the guests when they came in that they should sit outside if there were still seats available. Of course, the whole thing was at a volume that we noticed. I don't think it's unreasonable if you feel uncomfortable as a guest there. But unfortunately that was just the beginning. After about half an hour, several tables inside were occupied and they gradually got their food, but we didn't. When we asked after an hour we were told that unfortunately we had been forgotten. I then canceled the food order for time and hunger reasons and we went to the Italian neighbor. We were allowed to sit wherever we wanted and within 10 minutes we had the food (okay, no trick with pizza). Since I haven't given a review in the past and it would be unfair to give one star now because of a bad day, I'm giving the 5 stars that you definitely deserve from the past. I hope it works better next time (if desired).

Yesterday I was treated as a guest in an absolutely unprofessional manner. I've never experienced anything like that. We were looking forward to the second football game again. This time the game was shown in the beer garden. Unfortunately, due to the sun, we couldn't really see much on the screen. Which I also told the waitress. Typical Bavarian pub with delicious food 😜

We went to this restaurant before a football game with a large group of 25 people. We reserved a table in advance. We ordered draft beer and the owner brought us non-alcoholic bottled beer. We noticed this deception by chance, after which the owner became rude and insulted us. Then he said that he would decide what to bring us and how much we should drink. We haven't experienced such blatant lies, rude treatment and disrespect towards guests in a long time. Simply the worst place in Munich.

Friendly service, nice atmosphere, and reasonable prices. Of course it tastes good too. I've ordered several dishes, but it's so good that I don't have anything to point out. As soon as I was seated, I ordered a drink and the setup was completed in less than 5 minutes. I couldn't help but laugh at the owner's kind and comical words. You could eat outside the restaurant, but the seats were already full so we had to eat inside by the window. The atmosphere of eating while watching the sunset was very nice. This is a restaurant worth recommending nearby. If you go early enough and choose a seat outside the restaurant or by the window, I think you can enjoy the ambiance as a bonus. It was a very satisfying meal.

After a long day in the city, we were looking for a delicious meal and a cozy inn that was away from the typical tourist area. By chance we ended up in this nice inn and would go back immediately as soon as we were back in town. The taste and service are great, hence 5 stars.

Friendly, nice and courteous employees. Our drinks were ice cold: great in summer. Our food: The cordon bleu with fries was, like the delivery service, tip top and very tasty 😋. The price-performance ratio is clearly right. We were disappointed with the grill plate: 10 croquettes and 3 small pieces of meat with vegetables that "A" wasn't on the menu, "B" wasn't to our taste and so the croquettes and meat on the plate naturally detracted from everything. €24.90 is not possible here. My tip: Just mention the vegetables on the menu, because if they aren't on it, then at €24.90 you're assuming a slightly larger portion. Not everyone likes green beans, zucchini, peppers and broccoli. I can highly recommend you, but there is clearly room for improvement when it comes to grill plates. Mock roast, red cabbage, goulash, fries, cordon bleu, schnitzel: you definitely get an A with ⭐️. Greetings Markus

We had an excellent time and this was our favorite meal in Munich. Authentic bavarian cuisine in a nice location with outdoor seating in a nice neighborhood away from the center of town. Service made us feel very welcome, excellent hospitality. Gebackener Camembert was excellent and surprisingly hard to find elsewhere. Hope to return soon.

The owner verbally attacked and insulted me because an employee only tried to apologize for the problem with the order. What was particularly problematic was that there was a small child there and he cried afterwards. Considerate behavior, especially when children are present, should actually be considered good manners. The food was also mediocre, there are better alternatives in Munich. The service staff and the quality of the food did not meet my expectations, especially after the many good reviews.
