Felsenkeller in Cochem

Beautiful, modern hotel. Superbly located right on the Moselle River. The rooms are a good size. The water temperature in the bathroom is a bit difficult to regulate and gets too hot quickly. And when I first stepped into the shower, I was a little worried about breaking the shower tray. It's only made of plastic and has some give. Breakfast was very good. Nice selection. The only downside was the bread rolls. I can completely understand using pre-baked rolls. But there are better and, above all, larger ones. These were unfortunately a bit small. The service was friendly and attentive. One thing that needs to be highlighted: There's an elevator. Not so common in Cochem. So it's also great for people who have difficulty walking. All in all, a thoroughly satisfying stay. I'll definitely come back.

We stayed at this hotel for five days. Everything was very clean, and most of the staff were friendly. Unfortunately, our shower head in the room was broken, and the ventilation wasn't working. The food was inconsistent; breakfast was okay, but in the evenings, the food was often cold and tasted like pre-made meals, and it was also under-seasoned. The spa area is very small, the pool is cold, and some things are broken. It was also very cold in the relaxation room—we've experienced much better. The hotel has a really great location. All in all, we're wondering how this hotel got four stars, because we've definitely stayed at much better hotels.

I was traveling to Cochem and had dinner here with a reservation. I had the combinazione, my brother had a frutta di mare pizza, and my parents had lasagna and a pizza with olives and salami. It was delicious, with fast service, and it's a very pleasant place with reasonable prices.

We were only there for dinner. Very friendly service. We felt very comfortable there.
