Very tasty steak and crispy fries! I was here for the first time last weekend and didn't really know what to expect, but I was really pleasantly surprised. :D The food was on the table quickly, the service was neither too intrusive nor untraceable - just the right amount. I was also able to have a good chat and simply enjoy the evening. Definitely come back!

Every year I really enjoy going to fachwerk with my family for a big New Year's dinner. Stylishly furnished and simply very high quality food, I can only recommend it. The service is always incredibly friendly and you always feel like you're in good hands. Top, top, top!

UPDATE: The icing on the cake is that the customer addressed as a “distinguished guest” is described as lacking in propriety and uneducated because of his negative criticism. This is defamatory to me and not very customer friendly. Likewise, the statement that you can't expect to be able to have a "normal" conversation when the restaurant is full is inappropriate. One more reason not to visit your restaurant again! You label all negative reviews as “how can you write so much nonsense at once?” You should be ashamed of treating your customers like that. A corresponding seminar on “how do I get my well-paying customers” would be good for you! The Google reviews also include those of guests who were there on the same evening as us and did not receive the goose meal they had pre-ordered because they simply forgot it, which was clear from their conversation with the staff behind the counter. Maybe you would do well to own up to your mistakes and hire more staff at particularly turbulent times next time. We were there as a family at the beginning of December for our Christmas dinner. The restaurant was completely booked. We had a table right at the bar counter, which was firstly very narrow and secondly extremely noisy, as the drinks such as coffee etc. were prepared there. Normal conversation was not possible. We had already reserved 3 months in advance. Unfortunately, the service was also very bad, as the far too few staff (one waitress plus the owner) were completely overwhelmed. A service person came later. The business owner was very loud and unpleasant in his manner and downplayed the lack of service with stupid sayings. The food wasn't as expected either. Bland or not seasoned at all and presented quite carelessly. In other circumstances, at non-Christmas times, it may be nice. It's a shame, for the price of the dishes (over €400 for 6 people) we would have expected more. Even the really nice ambience couldn't save the evening. We won't be coming back.

Went there for the goose dinner for the first time yesterday with a pre-order. The ambience is great, but that's about it. Waited 30 minutes before being asked for drinks. Bread with olives costs 1.25 per person. In return you get 6 slices of dry, cold bread, 5 small olives, one large olive and 2 dips for 4 people. The first good impression is already ruined. The food came after 2.5 hours. It can happen, but the boss really screwed it up. He came to the table several times and said that food was coming soon. "It's not like you didn't get anything. You already had bread and olives." The statement was arrogant and cheeky. There should actually be a baked apple on the plate. There were 2 warm apple slices, yes. The boss just said that it was a baked apple. It can always take longer. The food wasn't bad in principle, but it wasn't worth the price. It wasn't possible that a leg cost the same as breast and leg. The red cabbage was ready-made red cabbage. We found the boss's snooty and ignorant manner so unpleasant that we definitely won't be coming back. As compensation, there was a schnapps on the house at the end. But it's also available in other restaurants at the end without any reason. Our conclusion: Great first impression, but the service and the inadequate prices vs. quality ruin everything. Addendum to the boss's comment: Only you yourself emphasized how great the food looks. We didn't "talk" about it because you left straight away.

It's a shame that you had to wait 2.5 hours for the food despite making an online reservation for the goose meal. Goose itself was okay, you can get side dishes like chestnut sauce, dumplings and red cabbage. Pricing is catastrophic, breast and leg cost the same as just breast???? The service was very friendly, but unfortunately completely overloaded as there was absolute chaos during the ordering process and processing in the kitchen. The owner was very unfriendly and not very understanding of legitimate criticism. It was the first and last time for us

Where should I start.. The ambience was ok, just a bit cramped but after the starter it's not possible to wait over 2 hours for the main course.. Beer cocktails are regularly forgotten and only received after repeated requests.. About half an hour waiting time for a beer from cocktails not to mention. There was water on the table but it was charged at 7 euros at the end. Likewise, the bread with aioli, which no one ordered, was charged at 1.25 per person at the end... Cheeky! And to make matters worse, drinks that were not ordered were billed for, which we unfortunately only found out later. Dessert was of course ordered but after 1 hour and after paying the bill it only took 20 minutes after we had ordered it over half an hour ago ordered dessert. It's a shame but never again. Since I can't write any more reviews, I have to answer you here. So do you think that taking credit for things that weren't ordered or consumed is justified by the fact that we go out smoking? Absolute nonsense, it's FRAUD just because they know it. In total, around 55 euros were charged for things that we either never ordered or didn't even consume. Furthermore, given the low prices and the attempt to sell your middle-class food as a premium product, you can also expect some service... Of course it was full, but if you are poorly staffed or simply completely overwhelmed you shouldn't book the place out to the last There was no space and how they attacked their employees when they were stressed, especially when we all noticed it at the table because it wasn't exactly quiet. (If then in private and even then preferably not in your tone). I also worked in a restaurant for years and know that it is stressful, but next time please check yourself personally and don't let it out on your employees, thank you, the stuff of the greatest of all character weaknesses.

Great atmosphere. Simply quaint. Food great. My wife had a steak with grilled vegetables and fried potatoes. I had a duck leg plus duck breast with dumplings and apple red cabbage and chestnut sauce, everything was great. Were there for the first time, but definitely not the last time.👨‍🦳👍👌

Were there for the first time on Saturday. We waited a long time for the drinks order. The cocktails weren't good, they had to be reworked, which was done, but that still needs to be worked on. We waited a long time for the food, the main course didn't come until 2 hours later. The quality of the food was good, but there were many mistakes made, wrong side dishes or none at all. Something like that shouldn't have happened because it wasn't that crowded. The waiters tried hard, but there were very few questions about drinks, everything was very uncoordinated. We also didn't like the fact that the waiters weren't allowed to accept tips. Nice shop, but needs improvement.

Cozy, family-run restaurant in the rustic atmosphere of an old half-timbered house. The staff was very friendly and attentive. The staff was friendly and attentive. You can tell that the Jurić family still has a lot of passion for good food and enjoyment. The extensive menu offers various Mediterranean dishes and a good selection of fish and meat dishes, although there are a few vegetarian/vegan alternatives. The prices are slightly higher overall, but the quality and size of the food was also appropriate. Even though it is pointed out in the menu, we found it a bit unusual that the bread and dips had to be paid for additionally in advance. Overall, we liked and enjoyed it here, so we will definitely come back again soon.

The shop has a nice, rustic atmosphere, especially with the beautiful outdoor terrace, where I can easily imagine enjoying a cool Kölsch in the summer. The prices are relatively high for Leverkusen. Except for Kölsch 2.20 is very fair. We had the starter platter, which was generously covered, a salad and were happy with it. It was simple and tasty, a bit stingy with the bread. Pointless dips. For the main course we had the fish platter and veal schnitzel. The fish platter was okay, but the schnitzels were really bad. The breading didn't last at all, was over salted and even had a fishy taste, but the asparagus was delicious. The service was really not good. Although the waiter is relatively friendly, the waiter was hardly present in a relatively empty shop and you couldn't place an order casually, but sometimes had to wait 30 minutes for the waiter to come by. In conclusion, there are much better places in Leverkusen. The quality of the cuisine is okay, but it's sloppy. I would choose it at most as a beer garden with a few snacks.

Very cozy restaurant with friendly staff. The food was delicious, the meat was cooked to perfection and beautifully presented. The desserts were also very good, but unfortunately they took a little longer. There is a large wine list and also alternatives for vegetarians and vegans.

Pretty restaurant in a beautiful half-timbered house. Ambience pleasant. The food was good, the meat was of good quality. The chef did a good job. The prices are a bit high. For me personally it wasn't worth it. The service was polite and confident in their actions. Even though the menu states that bread, olives, aioli and dip are served in advance for a fee, I don't like that. If something comes to my table, I either ordered it or it costs nothing.

We've been there a few times and it's always been absolutely excellent. Great service, staff are always visible at the right moment - neither too intrusive nor too rare. Very pleasant. The food is really excellent. The meat perfectly on point! Pleasantly slightly crispy on the outside and so tender and tasty on the inside that it melts in your mouth. Supplements are also completely free of any criticism. We had a tapas platter for 2 people, then a fillet steak with Bernais sauce, followed by a dessert platter for 2 people. You didn't want to stop eating. When we finished, it was like reading a great book or series - sad that it was already over. We always like to come back. Wonderful. Great food, fast service and a great and cozy location.

We were there this evening for Christmas dinner with the family and spent a wonderful evening in a very nice, cozy restaurant. The food tasted fantastic and was prepared with a lot of love. For vegetarians and children there was an option that was different from the Christmas menu and was super tasty and appealing. I would like to emphasize that the service was extremely friendly and accommodating, we felt completely comfortable and went home happy and full. Thank you for everything!

Wir waren letztes Wochenende mit 4 Personen dort zum Essen verabredet. Das Positive vorweg: die Gänsekeulen waren wirklich sehr lecker und die Portionen reichlich. Was mich jedoch maßlos geärgert hat - vorab wurde etwas Brot mit Aioli und Ajvar serviert, eigentlich nichts ungewöhnliches. Es ist mir jedoch noch nie passiert, dass dies anschließend berechnet wird! Unsere Rechnung belief sich auf über 180€, da empfinde ich es als Abzocke, wenn eine nicht bestellte „Vorspeise“ mit 5,50€ in Rechnung gestellt wird. Das hat den Gesamteindruck zunichte gemacht und ich glaube nicht, dass wir dort noch einmal hingehen.

Wir waren am vergangenen Wochenende dort. Das Essen war toll. Ambiente und Service ebenfalls. Eine Bereicherung für Leverkusen und die Umgebung

Alle Gerichte waren sehr gut und von Portionen großzügig. Sowohl Fisch als auch Fleisch waren perfekt gegrillt und sehr schmackhaft. Sehr gute, frisch gemachte Nachspeisen. Preise sind der Menge und Qualität der Speisen angemessen. Die Rezession ist nach dem letzten Besuch im November 2023 weiterhin unverändert.

Ja war soweit in Ordnung, der Service könnte etwas Aufmerksamer sein. Das Essen war soweit kn Ordnung,man sollte aber wissen wie man Leber venezianischenr Art macht. Die Muschel waren etwas fade. Die gewählten Vorspeisen simpel. Schade das der Weinservice nicht gemacht wird, man kommt einfach die Flasche auf den Tisch gestellt.... aber wir werden nochmals wieder kommen

Super leckere Küche und sehr nettes Personal in tollem Ambiente - sehr zu empfehlen!

Wir gehen schon seit vielen Jahren hier essen und sind immer sehr zufrieden. Die Steaks sind weltklasse. Die Ente zum Jahresabschluss ebenso. Fisch und Meeresfrüchte schmecken super. Die Weinkarte könnte höherwertiger sein, aber die angebotenen Weine, alle unter 50 €, sind gut. Besonders zu empfehlen ist die Dessertvariation. Gestern waren wir wieder da und waren wie immer zufrieden. Das Restaurant ist einfach gemütlich aufgrund der offenen Fachwerkarchitektur.

Tolles Ambiente. Wie der Name schon sagt, handelt es sich um ein schönes, für die Region typisches Fachwerkhaus. Das Essen ist gut, wenn man auch etwas nachwürzen muss. Einzig der Service war an unserem Abend etwas lieblos.

Nettes Ambiente für Gruppenfeiern. Leider etwas zu warm, weil das Klimagerät abgeschaltet war. Das Essen war gut angerichtet und hat allen gut gemundet. Die Weinbegleitung war passend gewählt.

Nettes Restaurant mit freundlicher und witziger Bedienung. Gehen wir gerne essen. Portionen sind angemessen für den Preis und man schmeckt und sieht, dass frische Zutaten verwendet werden.

Sehr gutes Essen, leider sehr mäßiger Service! Anlässlich unseres Hochzeittages haben wir das Restaurant „Fachwerk“ in Bergisch Neukirchen zum Abendessen aufgesucht. Das Restaurant hatte mich schon lange interessiert, da es vom Ambiente her einen sehr schönen Eindruck machte, den ich mal bei der Abholung von Gästen dort erhalten hatte. Selbstverständlich hatten wir zuvor reserviert. Wir wurden vermutlich vom Inhaber auf die Terrasse geleitet. Sehr schöne und ruhig gelegene Terrasse hinter dem Haus. Zum Start in den Abend hatten wir zunächst 2 Kölsch bestellt. Leider hatten die beiden Kölsch maximal Kellertemperatur. Als meine Frau den Wirt mit den Worten „Das Bier könnte aber kälter sein“ ansprach, erwiderte der Wirt: Die nächsten Bier werden kälter sein! Nach ein paar Minuten kam er nochmals zu unserem Tisch, um uns zu erklären, dass wohl die Zapfanlage gereinigt worden wäre, und es daher die Kühlanlage noch nicht auf volle Leistung gebracht hätte. Keine Entschuldigung und auch kein neues Bier, was ich angesichts des Preisniveaus des Restaurants erwartet hätte. Da wir das Risiko eines weiteren nicht kalten Kölschs nicht eingehen wollten, bestellten wir als nächstes ein traditionsreiches spanisches Spezialbier (San Miguel). Gibt es im Fachwerk zwar nur in der Flasche, dafür aber schön kalt. Hier stellte mir der Inhaber eine 0,33 l Flasche auf den Tisch, ohne Glas. Ich entschied mich dann dazu, dass San Miguel (ein Premium-Pilsener des Typs Lager) in das auf dem Tisch bereitstehende Wasserglas zu gießen. Meine Frau bestellte ebenfalls ein San Miguel, bestellte dies aber mit der Bitte, ein Glas dabei zu bekommen. Sie erhielt von einer weiteren Kellnerin eine Kölschstange. Ein Pils aus einer Kölschstange trinken ist schon echt stiellos. Nach unserer Bestellung erhielten wir, wie in vielen Restaurants üblich, Brot und Ajoli sowie eine weitere würzige Sauce. Zusätzlich hatten wir auch noch eine Vorspeise bestellt. Das Essen war hervorragend. Also ein Riesenlob an den Koch/Köchin! Der oder die versteht wirklich sein Handwerk in Zubereitung und Präsentation der Speisen. Nach dem Essen hatte ich noch einen Cappuccino bestellt. Unmittelbar nach der Servierung des Cappuccinos kam der Wirt mit unserer Rechnung und den Worten: Sie wollten zahlen?“ Nein, hatte ich zwar nichts von erwähnt, aber wir haben dann gezahlt und das Restaurant verlassen. Leider musste ich zu Hause dann noch feststellen, dass das Brot und Ajoli, welches uns ungefragt serviert wurde, zusätzlich berechnet wurde. In heutigen Restaurants dieser Kategorie gehört so etwas eigentlich zum Service. Und wenn es nicht zum Service gehört, dann möchte ich wenigstens zuvor gefragt werden. Ich denke wir lassen das in Zukunft mit dem Restaurant Fachwerk. Diese Art Service entsprechen nicht unseren Vorstellungen von einem guten Restaurant. Schade eigentlich, denn das Essen war sehr gut.

Danke für das tolle Fest! Wir haben eine Familienfeier im Fachwerk gefeiert und es war rundum super, nette Kommunikation, einfache Vorbereitung im Vorfeld, tolles Menü - super lecker, sehr schönes Ambiente und guter Service!

Leider sehr enttäuscht. Die Ambiente ist schön, Essen war lecker. Nur das Lob an den Koch und 4 Sterne. Aber . Wir haben das Gefühl gehabt , wir sind nicht willkommen und Kindern schon gar nicht. Man sitzt noch keine Minute und wird schon nach Bestellung gefragt, was Kinder trinken wollen , hat den Chef gar nicht interessiert. Da die Kinder auf die Toilette gehen müssten und ich bei der Essenbestellung kurz fehlte , wurde ich ganz ignoriert . Habe keine Karte bekommen , nach Trinken wurde ich nicht gefragt. Hätte das Wasser nicht auf dem Tisch gestanden, dann kommt auch nichts mehr . Wir haben alle das Gefühl bekommen, schnell bestellen und schnell verschwinden. Da müssen wir die andere Bewertungen nur bestätigen. Die Kellnerin ist etwas überfordert ( das Restaurant hatte höchstens 4 Tische besetzt). Da gibt es Nachbesserungsbedarf. Hier kommen wir leider nicht mehr.

Das mit Abstand beste Restaurant in Leverkusen und Umgebung! Wir sind jedes mal aufs Neue begeistert, egal ob vor Ort oder zur Abholung. Wärmste Empfehlung!

Gemütliches Restaurant, mit nettem Service. Das Restaurant hat im Innenhof eigene Parkplätze. Wir waren mit 10 Personen dort, das Essen hat uns sehr gut geschmeckt, wenn auch sehr hochpreisig( gemischte Vorspeisenplatte 18,50€ p.P. zzgl. 1,25€ für Brot u. Dipps)..............das ist aber auch der einzige Kritikpunkt. Wer es gemütlich mag und bereit ist etwas mehr für hochwertiges Essen zu bezahlen sollte das "Fachwerk" unbedingt ausprobieren.

Habe heute mit meiner Frau hier gespeist. Bedienung super nett und das Essen war sehr gut und der Preis angemessen.

Das Essen ,Vorspeise und Hauptspeise war top. Ebenso der Service sehr zuvorkommend und freundlich. Was uns nicht gefallen hat, war, dass im Anfang das Brot mit Alio, Aiwa und 5 Oliven zu bezahlen waren, obwohl der Snack ohne Kommentar gereicht wurde. Wie in anderen Restaurants ist das eine kleine Zugabe des Hauses anzusehen.

Leider keine selbstgemachte Hollandaise Sauce zum Spargel. Schmeckte nach Tetrapack. Für mich ein No Go . Vitello tonnato war OK aber leider auch nicht top

Wir haben unsere standesamtliche Hochzeit dort gefeiert und würden es immer wieder tun! Das Personal und vorallem die beiden Inhaber sind so tolle und herzliche Personen! Danke für diesen wirklich angenehmen Tag mit super leckeren Essen. Es wurde auf alle Wünsche eingegangen.

Wie immer, volle Punktzahl fürs leckere Essen. Surf n Turf, auf den Punkt das Fleisch. Leckeres Grillgemüse. Toller Rioja. Sehr samtig.

Dies ist keine Schmeichelbewertung sondern heute erlebt. Essen Zander mit gegrilltem Gemüse sowie Al Salmone mit Risotto beides geschmackvoll! Zweier Tisch gut, Wein rot-/weiß gut temperiert. Bedienung freundlich und aufmerksam. Empfehlenswert

Sehr netter Laden mit hervorragenden essen,war das erste Mal für uns aber wir kommen wieder,soviel steht fest! Der Koch kanns!!!

Sehr gemütliches Restaurant mit einer üppigen aber ausgewogenen Speisekarte. Für unseren Familienabend gab es für jeden Geschmack das richtige zu essen. Alles war sehr lecker und schön angerichtet von der Vorspeisenplatte über Ente, Steak und Schnitzel alles zwar zu einem stolzen Preis aber sehr lecker. Nachtisch war auch sehr schön arrangiert und lecker. Denke das man gerne nochmal hier zu einen Abend sich einfinden wird. Kann dieses Restaurant wärmstens empfehlen.

Wir haben mit 5 Personen eine Ganz bestellt, es war sehr lecker, mit genauso leckeren Klößen, Rotkohl, Maronensoße und sauleckeren Bratapfel, war sein Geld wert! und zum Abschluss einen milden Grappa :)

Sehr schönes Lokal, mit frisch und sehr leckeren Essen. Bedienung aufmerksam und freundlich. Wir können das Restaurant nur empfehlen und kommen gerne wieder.
