Considering that you are in Opladen ist quite good. From the Appetizers the octopus is great, the calamari are not! Ordered a tomahawk steak medium rare, which came out still cold inside.

Best steakhouse in the area. Absolutely delicious food, I mean everything! From appetizers to meat, steak, fish, and dessert. The service is incredibly friendly and fast, and they'll do almost anything for you. The owner is very present and has everything running smoothly, so everything works perfectly.

Whether it was for drinks, our request for more bread, or the main course, we had to ask for everything multiple times and even reorder some items because some of our orders were forgotten. The best steakhouse in the area. The owner himself was at our table, and the service was attentive. For starters (for 4 people), we had the mixed cheese platter with Serrano ham and the Plato Calientes, both excellent. For our main course, we had a 300g ribeye (with a baked potato and brandy sauce), phenomenal! Thank you so much!

Great restaurant for Spanish food. The staff was friendly and very attentive. We had tapas and tinto de verano. Everything was delicious. The complimentary appetizer with tasty bread, aioli, and olives was a real highlight. Plus, after paying, they offered a free shot or espresso – something I've never experienced before. Simply fantastic. The only downside was the crema catalana. It was prepared strangely and I didn't like it. We would still come back, though.

As in my other reviews, I won't go into detail about the menu. It's a classic steakhouse that conjures up every imaginable variation of meat on your plate. First of all: The restaurant is located right next to a large parking lot in Opladen. It's free on Sundays. However, you have to make sure that there isn't a market taking place there. Upon arrival, we were immediately greeted by a friendly lady and offered a table inside or outside. We went in and were given a comfortable seat in the middle of the restaurant. We had a reservation, but it was very quiet on a Sunday evening. The restaurant is very well-kept. Modern yet somehow traditional in design. Everything seemed very clean. A nice yet difficult thing: As a welcome, we were simply given a shot of schnapps on the table. It's meant kindly, but not everyone drinks alcohol, and I had to drive. A non-alcoholic appetizer would have been a great alternative here. A nice gesture in any case. The menu - I'll just say - is priced on the higher side. For starters, we ordered bread with dips and bacon-wrapped dates. The bread was on the house, and the bacon-wrapped dates were plentiful. The waiter was definitely an incredibly friendly, witty, and accommodating Spaniard. We couldn't help but laugh a few times at his jokes. For main course, I had a rump steak, and my partner a sirloin steak. Both were medium rare and came with a baked potato. My steak was cooked to perfection. The plates were simply topped with meat and potatoes. No frills. And what can I say? I had one of the best steaks I've ever had. I've rarely eaten such tender meat. My girlfriend's sirloin steak wasn't quite medium. This was also due to the uneven thickness of the meat. Nevertheless, it was tender and delicious. In conclusion, I can only say that we will definitely be back. We chose this place for our anniversary and were not disappointed. The food was incredibly delicious, the restaurant was well-kept, and the staff were friendly. All in all, it was a nice experience.

It was once again absolutely outstanding. Unfortunately, I'm not there often enough, but every time I visit La Plaza, I'm always impressed. Everything we ordered was incredibly delicious. I especially recommend the stuffed peppers with minced meat in sherry sauce... simply fantastic. The chorizo and the appetizer platters were also fantastic.

A good Spanish restaurant with excellent steaks. The fish and seafood are also consistently very good. It's not cheap, but it's reasonably priced. The appetizer platter pictured is large enough for two, but could easily fit four.
