A very beautiful place discovered during a stay in Cologne. The setting is very pleasant, the servers are very friendly and make the effort to speak French. Very good cuisine. Everything was perfect!

The steaks were cooked to perfection and I can also highly recommend the western beans. Thank you for the great service to the young man with a bald head and a beard.

It was a great evening in a tried and tested house. The nice waiter (bald with a beard) must be mentioned, he was on the ball and as friendly as you rarely see today!

Simply great! The restaurant has a really cozy, rustic charm with a pleasant atmosphere. The menu we had was great - but the beef fillet was really amazing! Tender, juicy and simply perfectly seasoned, the side dishes were also great and rounded the whole thing off perfectly. The service was also really good – relaxed, but still attentive. You can tell that there are people working here who love their job and do it really well. Overall, just a great atmosphere and an unforgettable meal.

The food is top class! The service is also great! One of them just played a bit on his cell phone, while the bald guy kept us entertained, extra praise for that! He knows how to take care of the guests.

The food is really great and if you call 5-7 days in advance there are also exotic things like water buffalo, ostrich, bison etc. The service is great and after the meal I often had conversations with the extremely friendly bald waiter. A big recommendation!

All in all we had a wonderful impression of this restaurant. There were two of us here and we were always treated in a friendly and courteous manner. It was easy for us to just feel comfortable. People asked regularly, but not too often, whether everything was still right. Both the starter and the main course were delicious, the meat is so tender that it almost melts in your tongue. The kitchen knows its cooking levels and you get a fabulously delicious fried steak. The side dishes were also great. I can highly recommend the visit to everyone! Thank you for this great evening, we will definitely be back.

We are disappointed. Were there at lunchtime. The steaks were great as was the salad. The dips were not homemade beforehand, the bread was hard. My colleague instead of pepper Steak Champion. The ice cream didn't work at all (it was supposed to be warm cherries, cold & spray cream!!!!!!) There wasn't an espresso on the house and no one asked if everything was OK. For €110 I expect more. Ate wonderful fillet. Only the thick potato wrapped in aluminum foil wasn't tasty. However, I was told that I should have said it directly then I would have had small potatoes. Very friendly, competent service.

Been there 2 times now and will likely come back. Really good food (steak prepared just as ordered, beautifully done both times), especially the salat dressing stands out to me as yummy and you can watch the grill which should put people at ease who are scared of chefs dropping their food and serving it anyway. Service is friendly and quick. Really nothing more I want from my servers and they rock it. While the interior doesn't blow me away, there really isn't anything actively wrong with it, either. Just not 100% my cup of tea and a bit lacking in intimacy due to it's rather small size so it can be a bit loud when it inevitably gets full (and it will be full because the food prep is great). But the food and service personel are great so I'll be coming back whenever the opportunity arises.

We experienced a very cozy atmosphere (great lighting, quiet mood music) with very courteous and friendly service. We really liked the wide selection of the menu and the food was more than convincing. The portions are large, the meat is prepared to order and changes are easily possible (for an additional charge). We will be happy to come back and look forward to our next delicious visit.

There were three of us there and we ate very tasty food. The steaks were very good. The only thing I missed was some herb butter. But that's a matter of taste. I ate the daily special: sirloin steak (250g) with fries for €22.50. This was an excellent dish of very good quality with very good value for money. The other dishes were Entrecote 200g and Angus Entrecote 300g with fried potatoes. We'd love to come back :-)

My husband and I went there for the first time on Friday and were very impressed. The food was great, the service was super friendly and attentive. Price performance was perfectly fine. The atmosphere is very cozy, but the tables are all too close together for my taste. But overall we were very satisfied and will come back.

Close to perfect, I think only star level would bring perfection. Perfectly grilled rump steak from Australia. Argentinian style fried prawns in garlic. Salad with the steak, crispy, fresh and with a very tasty balsamic dressing. Broccoli cream soup really deserves the name, in the kitchen they know how to impress the guests. Way of serving, classic and simple, but suitable for the food. A 9.2/10

Had a lovely evening for two with good food. For the fifth star, I personally still lacked a little pep in the food. As far as the ambience is concerned, I would also recommend replacing the somewhat old-fashioned chairs. Otherwise it is really very beautiful and stylish here.

The restaurant is wonderful from A to Z. Starting from the very friendly welcome and service to the excellent quality of the food. Both the entrecôte and the side dishes were very tasty. The ambience is great and you feel very at home while enjoying your meal. You definitely have to try the desserts. Literally a piece of cake.

Unfortunately, once again the cooking point wasn't as desired...that doesn't completely take away from the very good quality of the meat.

Leider haben wir mit 10 Personen schlechte Erfahrungen gemacht. Essen war ok. Aber... eine Freundin wollte ihr Steak Mediumplus, erhielt dann ein Steak Medium welches einem anderen Gast von unserem 10er Tisch gehörte. Sie hatte es angeschnitten und ein Stückchen davon gegessen, da es ihr als mediumplus serviert wurde. Nach Reklamation bekam sie problemlos ein Steak Mediumplus. Das Steak wurde abgeräumt. Allerdings wurde dieses angeschnitte Steak, mit dem fehlendem Stückchen dann einem anderem Gast von unserem Tisch serviert. Dieser war sehr empört. Zuerst wurde von der Bedienung gesagt, es sei ein neues, frisches Steak, aber da es, für uns alle ersichtlich, angeschnitten war, entschuldigte sich der Kellner, meinte das dies ein großes Versehen sei und servierte dann ein neues. Unglaublich
