Steakhaus-Restaurant ANGUS in Leverkusen

The staff was very helpful and friendly. Menu was spartan and yet confusing. Lamb carrè was out, but steak was good.

Personal ist sehr freundlich und bemüht. Die Speisekarte ist spartanisch und trotzdem unübersichtlich. Lammcarrè war um 19:30 Uhr aus, aber Steak war gut. Vor dem Essen gab's einen kleinen Gruß aus der Küche (lecker)! Wir waren ca. 90 Minuten dort und haben 130 € dort gelassen. Dafür gab's noch nicht mal einen Absacker auf's Haus. Da wir inzwischen wirklich jedes Steakhaus in der Umgebung kennen, kann ich sagen, dass wir das anders gewohnt sind. Viele Dinge im Angus sind wirklich gut- zu einem Spitzenrestaurant fehlt tatsächlich etwas.

All I can say is that it was a wonderful Christmas Day visit to Angus. The food (beef fillet with pepper sauce) was amazing, the service (all waiters were courteous and quick) was just right and the ambience (furnishings, setting of the seats and the artificial fire) was great. Full marks for everything! Highly recommended!

We rarely eat red meat but when we do, we like it to be cooked well. We couldn't have found a better place than at the ANGUS restaurant. Very satisfied with this dining experience. The staff is so nice, and some of them speak French :)

ABSOLUTE HEART RECOMMENDATION! The food was outstanding. The staff 1A. Although there is so much going on on New Year's Eve, everything runs like clockwork and the atmosphere is incredibly rustic and stylish. Would come again and again.

Very nice, nice restaurant. Already in the parking lot opposite the restaurant, the Christmas decorations are shining at you with lots of fairy lights, so you can hardly miss the restaurant. The steak there was great and good quality. Requests were catered for, whether rare, medium or even well done. I ordered my steak (200g) rare with fries and it was perfect. The steak is worth the price and the quantity was more than enough. If you are a little more hungry, the amount of meat can be adjusted if desired. The chocolate muffin with a liquid center and vanilla ice cream was also very tasty. The food arrived quickly and was nice and warm. The service, especially the waiter with the full beard and the bald head, is very friendly and accommodating. It is advisable to reserve a table in advance as it can get quite crowded in the evenings.

I've been going there for 10 years and the steak is still the best I've ever eaten. I recommend the steak of the week (skirt steak medium) my personal favorite. :) But the burgers are also excellent. I love the ambience has a very nice old style. The waiters there are super nice and friendly. I just really enjoy going there, it gives me a little feeling of home.

On Tuesday, December 17th The four of us had dinner with you in the evening and it was my first time with you. I really liked your restaurant and there is nothing to complain about in terms of taste or service. It was so delicious and I would eat dinner with you every day. I ate there for the first time today and it was overwhelming, the food was very good, I had a Championram-filed and it was the best steak I have ever eaten, the advice was also very good. Our waiter (tall, with a beard and bald head) was very nice, he helped us with any questions and gave us good advice, it was a pleasant atmosphere, I can only recommend it.

Was there as part of a larger event. The service seemed a bit overwhelmed, the actually chic restaurant was somewhat devalued because several event facilities etc. were partially covered with space. Unfortunately, the food was below average and certainly not a reason to come back, although our order was not a la carte.

It was a great evening in a tried and tested house. The nice waiter (bald with a beard) must be mentioned, he was on the ball and as friendly as you rarely see today!

Simply great! The restaurant has a really cozy, rustic charm with a pleasant atmosphere. The menu we had was great - but the beef fillet was really amazing! Tender, juicy and simply perfectly seasoned, the side dishes were also great and rounded the whole thing off perfectly. The service was also really good – relaxed, but still attentive. You can tell that there are people working here who love their job and do it really well. Overall, just a great atmosphere and an unforgettable meal.

The food is really great and if you call 5-7 days in advance there are also exotic things like water buffalo, ostrich, bison etc. The service is great and after the meal I often had conversations with the extremely friendly bald waiter. A big recommendation!

All in all we had a wonderful impression of this restaurant. There were two of us here and we were always treated in a friendly and courteous manner. It was easy for us to just feel comfortable. People asked regularly, but not too often, whether everything was still right. Both the starter and the main course were delicious, the meat is so tender that it almost melts in your tongue. The kitchen knows its cooking levels and you get a fabulously delicious fried steak. The side dishes were also great. I can highly recommend the visit to everyone! Thank you for this great evening, we will definitely be back.

We are disappointed. Were there at lunchtime. The steaks were great as was the salad. The dips were not homemade beforehand, the bread was hard. My colleague instead of pepper Steak Champion. The ice cream didn't work at all (it was supposed to be warm cherries, cold & spray cream!!!!!!) There wasn't an espresso on the house and no one asked if everything was OK. For €110 I expect more. Ate wonderful fillet. Only the thick potato wrapped in aluminum foil wasn't tasty. However, I was told that I should have said it directly then I would have had small potatoes. Very friendly, competent service.

Been there 2 times now and will likely come back. Really good food (steak prepared just as ordered, beautifully done both times), especially the salat dressing stands out to me as yummy and you can watch the grill which should put people at ease who are scared of chefs dropping their food and serving it anyway. Service is friendly and quick. Really nothing more I want from my servers and they rock it. While the interior doesn't blow me away, there really isn't anything actively wrong with it, either. Just not 100% my cup of tea and a bit lacking in intimacy due to it's rather small size so it can be a bit loud when it inevitably gets full (and it will be full because the food prep is great). But the food and service personel are great so I'll be coming back whenever the opportunity arises.

We experienced a very cozy atmosphere (great lighting, quiet mood music) with very courteous and friendly service. We really liked the wide selection of the menu and the food was more than convincing. The portions are large, the meat is prepared to order and changes are easily possible (for an additional charge). We will be happy to come back and look forward to our next delicious visit.

There were three of us there and we ate very tasty food. The steaks were very good. The only thing I missed was some herb butter. But that's a matter of taste. I ate the daily special: sirloin steak (250g) with fries for €22.50. This was an excellent dish of very good quality with very good value for money. The other dishes were Entrecote 200g and Angus Entrecote 300g with fried potatoes. We'd love to come back :-)
