Europa Asia Bistro in Dresden

We got scammed. We ordered to go. We ordered baked/fried chicken with peanut curry and rice. We got rice with some peanut sauce, with bits of normal chicken in the sauce. No baked chicken. The glass noodles we ordered were bland. 12+ euros just for bland glass noodles with some chicken bits is insane! Both dishes were extremely expensive.

An einem Freitagabend im Januar waren wir zu dritt im Kinh Do in der Weissen Gasse in Dresden. Das Restaurant hat einen etwas merkwürdigen Inneneinrichtungsstil. Mir gefiel es nicht wirklich. Komische grafische Wandgestaltung. Die Tische und Stühle sind rustikal. Der Service war freundlich. Wir hatten zweimal gebackenes Hühnchen und einmal Ente. Als Vorspeise Frühlingsrollen mit Dip. Der Dip war mehr als neutral - etwas wässrig. Meine Ente kam in einer Pfanne auf einem Bett aus etwas Gemüse. Die Ente war recht zäh und teilweise fett. Dazu gab es Reis. Satt bin ich davon nicht geworden. Mich hat das Essen und das Restaurant nicht überzeugt. Sehr mittelmäßig.

We liked the service, the speed of preparation of the dish and the taste of the order itself.

We were disappointed. Ordered summer rolls with lemongrass tofu. But the summer rolls contained almost no herbs (e.g. mint, coriander, basil...). The lemongrass tofu didn't taste like lemongrass either, the mango it contained was unripe and tasteless. And unfortunately there was only 1 tablespoon of sauce instead of a bowl. It's a shame and quite disappointing! You're probably making savings in the wrong place. I would have preferred to pay a little more and have a delicious meal in return.

It was OK! Is it the best pho? Absolutely no! But the atmosphere is good.
