The lady was unfriendly and unreasonable haha. She threw away the menu and didn't even look at it. She was slow.

Food is quite good, there are definitely much better Vietnamese restaurants. The decor is also nice but the service is poor. Very long waiting time, employees not particularly friendly, seem annoyed. We haven't been going there for a long time.

We have been there 3 times now. Food is always top and can also be described as authentic. Unfortunately the service is a bit of a disaster. Reserved for 8 people, when we arrived we were just looking for cutlery. The way it was ordered and served, you almost have to beg to be allowed to order something else. You are basically ignored (yes we had the table between the counter and the kitchen). We'll probably try out the other Vietnamese on the street in the future. Unfortunately, it's a shame because the ambience and food are really very good.

Very pleasant atmosphere both in the outdoor area on the street as well as in the restaurant itself and in the garden. Menu is medium sized with a good selection of food and drinks. The map is sometimes a bit confusing. The service is slow at times and there is hardly any communication with the guest, only a brief polite order taking. The food is good and rich.

Recently I visited Anamit, and I had requested that my Chicken Avocado Curry be made spicy. To my surprise, they handed me a dish with a separate bowl containing just one chopped red chili on the side. This was their idea of ‘customization.’ I considered tipping them initially, but when I saw the bill, I noticed a sneaky 1€ charge labeled 'Küche Diverse.' When I inquired, I was told it was for that single chili! This blatant nickel-and-diming is absurd. This deceptive practice feels downright shady and possibly tax-evasive. Safe to say, I won’t be returning.

Very tasty, large portions and very authentic (we had Bún Chả and Bún Nem). Great place to enjoy real Vietnamese food.

Very good authentic Vietnamese restaurant, you feel like you're in the country, both for the food and the decor. I happily return there on each of my trips to Dresden. 4 stars because sometimes the quality of the food is not always constant, the service could be improved (friendliness and English), and the salad mix placed on all the plates is uninteresting and has nothing Vietnamese, a plate fresh grass on the table would really be more authentic.

I visited here yesterday evening. From the moment I walked in, they treated me very rudely with an irritated face. Because we know European restaurant culture so well, we chatted with each other at the counter without looking at the customers and just waited for a long time without them coming to order. The finest food at reasonable prices. There's nothing you can say. We sat further back in the restaurant near the kitchen and toilet. In the meantime, the chef lit a Ziggi, the smoke of which unfortunately wafted into the restaurant. The menu was beautifully designed but a real challenge to get through. Some important information is presented here in the smallest possible font size. So. Otherwise the restaurant is really nicely decorated.

I've been to this store 3 times within a 5 year period and each time we were initially made to wait 25-30 minutes (that's no exaggeration) to be able to place the order. I have no problem waiting for drinks or food when it's busy, but just being left sitting empty for a long time is pathetic. The first two times I thought I was just unlucky, but I'm starting to think it's standard. Later we had to get up again and run after the waitress to order more drinks. The menu is pretty confusing, but that's probably a matter of taste. The prices are fair, the portions are large. Unfortunately, none of us really liked it, but I don't know if Vietnamese street food tastes like that and it just wasn't to our taste. The translation of the dishes was also strange and misleading. “Fried sticky rice with Vietnamese sausage” arrived very differently than expected: 2 fried rice balls and colorless and tasteless things cut into triangles. With a delicious dip (but please not the fish sauce that is served everywhere and tastes the same) it might have been okay - so it was just a stomach filler or, in my case, the cause of an unpleasant feeling of fullness after the starter. We sat where you can sit on the floor - I think it's a nice atmosphere, even if it gets uncomfortable for us Europeans when sitting for long periods of time. I can't recommend it at all with children because it's just too inviting to run around. When we collected the money, the service showed some warmth, but it was too late. I cannot recommend the restaurant and will never come back.

Very nice shop with a "street design" that isn't overdone or tacky. The seating is authentically low. Things could be orthopedically difficult with grandparents. The service was attentive and the food was delicious.

For me, Anamit is the best restaurant in Dresden. Wir lieben vietnamesisches Essen und besuchten das Restaurant auf Empfehlung: Fazit: das Essen ist optisch top, geschmacklich enttäuschend. Zähes, geschmackloses Fleisch (Pho), saure Mango (sticky Rice mit Mango), Papayasalad und Frühlingsrollen langweilig, frittierte Garnelen schmeckten lasch. Preislich sehr hohes Niveau.

There were four of us there. The ambience is beautifully decorated and reminds us of our old hometown of Hanoi. However, we didn't like the food and service. The food was not authentic. Papaya salad tasted like nothing. The table grill sprayed so much that it wasn't nice to sit there and continue eating, the dip for the grill wasn't special (hoisin sauce) so it wasn't nice for the customers to have an authentic meal. Service was slow and slack that made us feel like we were forgotten even though we were seated at the entrance and closer to counter. The bill was ignored and was brought half an hour later. The day wasn't busy. Price-performance not appropriate. Unfortunately not recommended!

I ordered crispy duck on sunday to be delivered to my home. They literally just warmed it up in the microwave and charged me 18€ for that!!! It was dryer then a desert, and not even ton of sauce added after could have saved that sad excuse of a duck. With that price, i would expect that you could at least use that microwave properly.

ALERT - Racist TO ASIAN. You can find the similar reviews as how other Asians gave. Foods and environment are fine, however you need to think twice if you are not European looking people. Service is so poor to me that makes anything else completely not justified. Very feels very like the owner has issues with Chinese looking people which doesn't make sense as the people there are an Asian as well (their attitude is significantly better towards German, with greetings and stuff while to me like a death stare only) I visited on April 8th, during Easter vacation, while there is only one desk of guest in the restaurant at the time. The old lady at the bar does not bet an eye on me, does not guide me to the table, does not take my order. I have waited at the counter to make my order where she clearly saw me but diced to ignored me. The attitudes and services to German/European are completely different.

The ambiance of this place is beautiful, aside from the crowd. With its blend of modern and traditional design, it's a pleasant place to be in. We dined on the floor cushions, which reminded me of my childhood. In the past, when we had lots of guests, kids would eat on the floor like this. It was a nice feeling to remember this. The service was very slow due to the crowd, so I suggest considering the waiting time if you're really hungry. As for our choice, we mainly opted for the Pho Tofu, which was truly delicious. It was served with spicy peppers and crispy dough on the side. There were many options on the menu, and I'd like to come back to try other choices.

Waitress was rude when asked in the Vietnamese language about the food and order, and the pho as having lived in Vietnam, was very mediocre and bland. Worst is treatment of fellow Vietnamese and the lack of quality for this over hyped place - would not recommend. Sitting on the floor is also not comfortable on the small pillows.

The Anamit is furnished in a trendy manner, the location is in the middle of Dresden's Neustadt, a trendy environment. The greeting is brittle, the operating procedures are well-rehearsed and do not require any unnecessary communication. Food is provided efficiently, but you can't really feel welcome here. The food is good, but varies in the quality of the ingredients (meat). The vegetables are fresh. Anamit doesn't stand up to a comparison with really good Vietnamese restaurants of the same price level.

Basically, I can't tolerate spicy food, but unfortunately this wasn't specified. Nevertheless, I enjoyed the food very much. The setting offers a variety of seating options including floor tables or regular tables with chairs. However, a small drawback was that our bench almost tipped over, which posed a potential risk of injury. There were two toilets, one of which had a lock that didn't work properly and the other that had something broken. Despite being busy, the service was not overloaded.

Das war leider eine komplette Enttäuschung!!! Wir waren die ersten Gäste, die Begrüßung fiel eher kühl aus - wahrscheinlich waren sie etwas überrascht, dass schon Gäste da sind. Wir haben einige Zeit gewartet, bis die Speisekarte kam und wir nach Getränken gefragt wurden. Insgesamt war es sehr laut, obwohl wenig los war - warum: weil sich der Service lauthals unterhielt und lachte, die Gäste aber länger darauf warten durften, ehe sie bedient wurden. Das Essen: war leider Null-Komma-Null authentisch-vietnamesisch. Seit wann gehört Frisee-Salat zur Barbarie-Ente, die gefühlt auch von gestern war und 2x frittiert wurde? Die Soße war instant…beim zweiten Essen gab es Süsskartoffel-Pommes…eigentlich sollte es ein Kartoffelnest sein…naja. Das einzig Positive: die Portionen waren übermäßig groß, wir wissen jetzt aber auch, das an der Qualität gespart worden ist. Leider ein Reinfall und für uns keine Weiterempfehlung!

Great Design and delicious Vietnamese food and friendly people

We had this menu for 2 people. Consisting of 1 starter soup, 1 salad, 2 main courses and a sweet “house surprise”. Everything came very quickly and attractively prepared. The soup tastes like NOTHING. It didn't taste like much more than water with tomato chunks. The salad, on the other hand, was delicious. The two main courses were good - the chicken was tastier than the beef dish (a matter of taste). Unfortunately the chicken was fried - not fried. The low point was the sweet dessert. 2 small bowls with some sweet “pudding” or something. No idea what it was exactly. It just tasted slightly sweet and was chopped into small pieces. Unfortunately, right next to our table at the counter, we could see the lady taking this "pudding" out of a can and chopping it into small pieces with the can lid. This made the pudding even tasteless than it already was. Overall, the service seemed quite unmotivated. Came to the table to ask what we wanted to order - looking out the window - and rolled his eyes slightly when we said we needed a moment. The selection of dishes is also very manageable overall. Hardly any poultry dishes. You would also feel much more comfortable if the older Vietnamese lady would at least act as if you were welcome - maybe even smile. But it felt more like an unwanted burden. If the chicken dish could be ordered individually, I would probably come back. But... probably not.

Went to the restaurant on recommendation. Unfortunately the food was quite cold and poorly seasoned. The rest is nothing special. The staff was friendly and quick.

The food tasted good, but unfortunately there was a thick, soft sauce on the crispy chicken and duck and there wasn't much crunch left. The jasmine tea was in a tea bag that hung over the glass and constantly dripped while drinking. The staff was constantly on top of it On the road, it wasn't comfortable.

They're purely because the store is nicely decorated. Unfortunately the food was miserable. The duck meat was dry and streaky. There was also a ready-made sauce a la glutamate. Last night we were a group of about 11 people who came for dinner. We had ordered a significant amount of food and were very disappointed as it wasn't worth the money. The meat in Bún Chả Lá Lốt was sour, apparently it wasn't stored properly. The side dish, the bún, was dry and hard as if it had been reheated in the microwave, which was obviously unsuccessful as the bún was still hard and dry. The grilled meat at Bún Chả was bland and tastelessly marinated. The dipping sauce was also bland. I felt like the restaurant uses the same dipping sauce for all dishes that require fish sauce. The rice soup was bland. The fried rice was hard and salty. Given the price, I was hoping the rice bowl would be bigger, but no, it was filled with vegetables to make it look fuller. The peak of disappointment was the dessert. We had ordered "Kem Xôi" and "Tào Phớ". After about 10 minutes a waitress told us that the "Tào Phớ" wasn't ready yet. I don't understand. This is either a lack of preparation or very poor preparation. And the "Kem Xôi" couldn't save our terrible evening because it wasn't there. The employees were yelling at each other that the restaurant was out of ice cream and therefore couldn't make this dish. We all heard them talking to each other. But only after 10 minutes someone came to us and told us that there was no ice cream and asked us to order something else. The delay, lack of information and unprofessionalism of the restaurant managed to make our evening as bad as possible. The price of the restaurant is high but the service and food are not worth it. Everyone should consider whether it is worth going to this restaurant and spending money on this terrible experience. Unfortunately I don't have a picture because no one was interested in the restaurant.

One of the worst Vietnamese food I’ve ever eaten. First of all, we ordered food and about 15 minutes later lady came to tell us they didn’t have any of our order. Then we were forced to choose something else and it really wasn’t good. Crispy duck was too much crispy, so too dry, second food fried rice was really oily. Both foods were quite salty. Not the experience worth the money

5 stars for the decoration: truly authentic Vietnamese atmosphere, especially the Hanoi old town. The owner and the staff is very friendly. The food is delicious, full of vietnamese taste. The menu is really diverse, full of choices - most of them are HaNoi specialties ( pho xao, banh tom, …) The portion is good, value for money. Only one drawback: only cash payment.

The place is beautifully decorated. Even though it’s big and full you get served quite fast. As for the food, the bbq pork (bun cha) is the best I have tried so far. I’m not Vietnamese but I live in Prague where we have Vietnamese restaurants in every corner. Definitely order the bun cha. The duck curry was also very nice. I would totally come back in my next visit to Dresden.

Sehr nettes Restaurant mit schöner atmosphäre. Das Essen war wirklich lecker. Das Personal war nett aber leider ein bißchen nachlässig. Wir hatten kein Bestesteck auf dem Tisch und nachfragen nach dem Essen nach weiteren Getränken oder einem dessert gab es auch nicht.

Ich empfehle nicht in dieses Restaurant das Essen zu verzerren, da in dem Mahlzeiten einige Metal Schwämme Reste befinden und das Essen ist da durch nicht genießt bar. Ebenfalls war das Essen versalzen oder es war kein Geschmack vorhanden.

Super Service und essen war wunderbar.

Wir hatten vorbestellt, doch leider war zu unserer Zeit noch nichts vorbereitet. Sehr kalt, da die Eingangstür nicht richtig zu ging. Das Servicepersonal war sehr überfordert. Speisenauswahl für Kinder wenig geeignet.

Nichts authentisches in der Pho-Suppe, schmeckte nach Gemüsebrühe und es wurden billige Instant-Nudeln benutzt was einen sehr faden Geschmack hinterließ. Ok für durchschnittliches vietnamesisches Essen aber nichts besonderes.

Wir sind regelmäßig zu Besuch und es war wie immer sehr lecker aber leider viel zu kalt und dadurch sehr ungemütlich zu sitzen.

Ich war gestern hier, es war eine so schlechte Erfahrung. Der Kellner brachte das Essen heraus und kam nicht zurück, um zu fragen, ob das Essen köstlich sei oder nicht. Die Take-Away-Box ist ein Durcheinander mit Nudeln und Fleisch, gemischt wie Kinderessen. Das Essen war zu trocken, die Nudeln und das Fleisch sind zu schlecht. Die Einstellung des Kellners war so schlecht, besonders die Kellnerin, die wie im Rewe vor dem Tisch saß und Geld sammelte. Obwohl ich 10 % Trinkgeld gab, dankte sie mir nicht und hielt es für selbstverständlich. Komme nie wieder

Nie wieder... Wir waren an einem Freitag zu zweit vor Ort. Uns wurde ein Tisch an einem Fenster zugewiesen, welches nicht richtig geschlossen hat und es ständig gezogen hat ( -2 Grad Außentemperatur). Die Kellnerin meinte, dass mit dem Fenster ist okay so. Die "Hauseigenen Getränke" sind auch nur die 60 Cent Limoflaschen aus dem Lidl. Aber schön 7€ pro Glas im Restaurant verlangen. Beim essen hat die Chemieindustrie ihren vollen Beitrag geleistet. Und die Ente war gefühlt schon 3x Tod bevor sie geschlachtet wurde. Das Dessert bestand aus geschmacksneutralen Pulverpudding mit Eistee in der Schüssel. Die Hygiene und Ausstattung auf den Toiletten, erinnert einen an Mittelalterfilme. Der Besuch hat das bestätigt, was uns andere Gäste schon vorab gesagt hatten (an dem Tag waren aber leider alle anderen Restaurants schon voll).

The food is alright. The menu had vegetarian beef. As we guessed it was mock meat. So the taste was bland. However the fried rice with pork was good. The soup noodles came with you Tiao, which was cold. If it was fried then it would have been authentic. Yet it was okay for Vietnamese food.

Das Beste am Anamit ist definitiv das Ambiente, das Lokal ist liebevoll eingerichtet und großzügig ausgelegt, sodass der Lärmpegel gering ist. Zum Essen selbst kann ich wenig sagen, was ich jedoch gesehen habe entsprach dem Standard den man auch in anderen asiatischen Restaurant der Gegend erwarten kann. Es wird vietnamesisches Bier angeboten. Negativ aufgefallen ist der Service, die Bedienung tritt nicht aktiv an den Tisch heran, um etwas zu bestellen muss man aktiv auf sich aufmerksam machen. Und auch der Zahlungswunsch musste zweifach gemacht werden. Dennoch einen Besuch wert.

Bestes Curry was ich je gegessen habe. Waren jetzt bereits mehrmals dort und es war immer überragend. Immer ein must do wenn wir in Dresden sind. Service ist freundlich. Lediglich ein kleiner Abzug bzgl. der schmalen Tische und Bänke, allerdings wäre es ohne diese auch nicht authentisch. Reservierung würden wir aber auf alle Fälle vorab empfehlen, da es immer gut besucht ist, kein Wunder bei dem Curry:)

Ambiente und Service sind toll Warum spart man bei den Sommerrollen alles ein. Ich bekam Reisnudeln mit 2 zarten Scheiben Fleisch und Reispapier. Es war einfach nur trocken. Schade ich hatte mich so sehr gefreut.

Ein rundum gelungenes Paket! Das Ambiente ist sehr gemütlich und man entdeckt immer wieder etwas Neues, was einen in seinen Bann zieht. Der Service war sehr freundlich und war stets zur rechten Zeit da, ohne dass man sich bedrängt fühlte. Ja und was Essen und Getränke angeht, könnte es nicht besser sein! Einige Geschmäcker waren tatsächlich ersteinmal ungewohnt, aber in keiner Weise unangenehm. Preis-Leistung ist hier mehr als ausgezeichnet, die Mahlzeiten waren reichlich und für 2 Person haben wir 55 € bezahlt (3 Getränke, 2 Vorspeisen und 2 Hauptspeisen). Wir empfehlen das Restaurant auf jeden Fall weiter und freuen uns schon auf unseren nächsten Besuch!

Seht gut besucht, preiswert. Essen stark gewürzt. Gute Ausgangsbasis für das Nachtleben in Dresden Neustadt.

Friday, dinner time, was really crowded and we waited fir food more than 45 minutes. Food was pretty delicious, really huge portions. Beef slightly chewy , but fish just amazing.

My friends and I visited Dresden for the first time and the experience at this restaurant ruined our trip. We waited one hour but still no food while the tables after us got food. Many others even almost finished their food. The old lady gave us two of 5 dishes we ordered. 3 minutes later, she took them back and gave to other table which was after us and only said ‘wrong table’ without any sorry. For the whole time, no sorry at all or care to tell us that pls wait or something. Many restaurants treated vietnamese worst because they know white people complain more in the same situation. Also, the way they prepared food looks unsanitary. Really awful 😣 We decided to leave and told them to calculate our drink bill. But no one was dare to come and talked. Look like they were scared or did not want to talk at all. After several days, I am still traumatized because of this. This is the worst restaurant I’ve ever gone to. BIG ALERT! Stay away from this restaurant if you want to keep your mood up. They treat their own race really bad. Das ist das schlechteste Restaurant aller Zeiten. Der Service ist so schlecht. Die Wartezeit ist so lang. Quán này vô cùng khinh người Việt. Đồ ăn không biết ngon không nhưng nhìn cách chế biến rất mất vệ sinh.
