Delicious sushi, fantastic service. The drinks are also excellent and the atmosphere is pleasant. All in all, a great restaurant. I always enjoy coming back.

I've been to this restaurant twice before and have always been very satisfied. However, this time was different. After waiting 15 minutes for our table, we realized that the noise level made conversation nearly impossible. The server seemed visibly stressed and overwhelmed. The food was delicious, as always. However, I had the worst stomach problems I've ever had after eating there. I don't know if the ingredients had gone bad, but something was definitely wrong with the food. It's a real shame, and based on this experience, I probably won't be visiting this restaurant again anytime soon. 😕

Outrageous! We ordered through Wolt (2.5 hours ago)! Neither Wolt nor we can reach the store! The order was worth over €150 and will probably never show up! It's now 9:31 PM on Sunday evening, great with kids! Absolutely unacceptable!!!

I ordered through Lieferando and, despite the estimated delivery time of over 40 minutes, the food arrived warm and ready to eat in leakproof packaging. The portion size was also very good; I was quite full. I would gladly order again.

The female staff were unfortunately very unfriendly and not at all welcoming. The takeaway food was also poor. I ordered sea samphire with colorful vegetables and received dry salmon with 80% onions and sprouts, and NO sauce – an absolute joke for €15!!

A very nice restaurant. The food is always delicious and you don't have to wait long. Only the sushi sometimes takes a little longer, but it's definitely worth it. The sushi tastes wonderful and is beautifully presented. We've been going to Codo regularly for many years. The only thing one could possibly criticize, which we don't consider a big deal, is that the dining room is a bit noisy and there's only a women's restroom. We always enjoy coming back.

We were usually very satisfied with everything, but were bitterly disappointed at Christmas time. Despite having a reservation for December 25th and receiving confirmation, and despite the website stating otherwise, we arrived to find the doors locked. This needs to be handled differently in the future.

You serve large portions. It was absolutely delicious. Unfortunately, it was also very crowded and noisy. But I'll definitely come back!

We had a reservation for lunch. However, this reservation seemed to be completely disregarded. Instead, two tables were hastily pushed together in a corner. Improvisation can be charming, but here it felt rather makeshift. The staff was visibly annoyed from the start. After we were seated, nothing happened. No drinks, no inquiry, no reaction. We had a clear view of the food counter, which was becoming increasingly crowded, while some of the staff spent more time on their phones than serving customers. We simply seemed to have been forgotten. After about 15 minutes of being consistently ignored, we left and went to Peter Pane next door. In retrospect, this was the best decision of the day, as we spent two very pleasant hours there with attentive service. The restaurant itself makes a nice impression. Unfortunately, I can't comment on the food; we would have had to have been served first.

The food was very tasty, although it used to feel like it was of a slightly higher quality. Nevertheless, it's still a good place to go.

A delicious and good Vietnamese restaurant. The portions are large and filling. The staff is friendly but could be a bit more attentive in my opinion. Wine wasn't refilled, and there was no one to check if everything was alright or ask any other questions. Unfortunately, you're only allowed to eat for a limited time (1.5 hours), after which you're reminded to pay. I don't like that, especially since you're spending a fair amount of money on a meal.

Everything is perfect here: the taste, the service, and the ambiance.

Anyone who enjoys Asian food absolutely has to go here. Stop looking for alternatives and just go. There's truly something for everyone. Whether you're into stir-fries, hot pot (pre-order recommended), or sushi, everything is delicious, fresh, and reasonably priced. And all in a great location. The sushi was my absolute favorite! 😍 If I could, I'd eat sushi here every week. But Dresden is too far from Schleswig-Holstein. 🙁

This was our second visit to this restaurant. The staff is young, refreshingly friendly, and relaxed. The sushi is excellent, the curries are rather mild, but that's a matter of taste. We really enjoyed it. The price-performance ratio is more than fair for Dresden's city center. We'll definitely be back. High praise for both the kitchen and the staff.

Everything we ordered was delicious. The staff was friendly. Unfortunately, the noise level in the restaurant is like a waiting room, so loud and therefore rather unpleasant during rush hour 🥴

We had dinner at Codo and were completely satisfied. The service was consistently excellent and very friendly. For a starter, we had the baked mixed platter, and for our main course, the Codo burger. Both dishes were fresh and delicious. The only downside was the fries – unfortunately, they were just basic frozen fries, which slightly detracted from the otherwise fantastic burger meal. Nevertheless, we would definitely go back to Codo!

Delicious food!! Depending on where you sit, it can be a bit noisy. The staff can be a little dreamy at times, but they're still very friendly. Prices are almost a bargain! Top restaurant, I would definitely eat here again!

Visiting a new restaurant without any expectations is perfect – the more pleasant the surprise, the better. My visit was indeed a wonderful, positive surprise :-) The appetizer was summer rolls, followed by a main course of rice, shrimp, and lemongrass vegetables – spicy, but subtle. Delicious :-)

Having been to Vietnam and living in a city with a large Vietnamese community with excellent restaurants, the food here barely resembled anything Vietnamese. The rice paper rolls were quite but it ended there. We ordered Pho and supposedly wok cooked noodles and chicken dish. Both pretty tasteless. The meal supposedly cooked in a wok consisted of boiled or steamed chicken, a few vegetables and noodles that had not been anywhere near a wok. it looked like a bunch of boiled ingredients with none of the expected wok cooked flavours. It was awful. The Pho was also just boiled ingredients and nothing that a Vietnamese chef would serve.

Don't go there! I won't get a table! Without a doubt, the best sushi in the whole city: fresh, plentiful, and affordable.

The food was really tasty but they seemed very understaffed. we had to wait a lot at the entrance for some person to seat us at our places even with prior reservation. The hotpot was on thr menu but no where was it mentioned that we were supposed order itat the time of our reservation rather than on the day we were eating. Hence we had to switch to different dishes. The mochi ice cream was super delicious and the saving grace of the evening.

I saw a recommendation on Xiaohongshu, so I decided to try PHO. The price was average, the beef portion was quite large, and the taste was average. I wouldn't recommend it.

A very nice, atmospheric place with friendly service, the dish I ordered was duck in Mango sauce, maybe the dish looked a bit like a soup due to the large amount of not very thick sauce, but everything tasted okay anyway.

Excellent food with very good value and excellent service. We had the Saigon summer rolls with chicken breast strips as an appetizer, followed by Com Rang Vit (stir-fried rice tossed in a wok with carrots, leeks, bean sprouts, and crispy duck with hoisin dip) and Vit Ca Ri (crispy duck in red lemongrass curry with vegetables, basil, coconut milk, and rice) as main courses. It was highly recommended in every respect.

Asian cuisine at its finest; you'll always find something here, whether you're in the mood for noodles, rice, or sushi. The food tastes excellent, and the service is prompt and efficient.

The ambiance is quite good, and so is the service. We were totally disappointed with the food. Our wok specialty was served cold. Lots of noodles, very few vegetables. The duck meat came in thin strips. The texture was just a bit softer than jerked beef, and cold. The taste was okay. But not my thing. The hoisin sauce was definitely from a bottle. Not a pleasant evening.

We have ordered or eaten there several times. Today, unfortunately, it wasn't good. We ordered Bun Bo Nam Bo and other dishes to pick up. The dishes were well packaged and, except for one dish, delicious. The Bun BO, however, was inedible. Last time, the Bun BO was super delicious. Today it didn't taste good at all. The noodles were completely overcooked, the vegetables were cut into very large pieces and also overcooked. Overall, it wasn't tasty; even the meat tasted sour. When I complained about it by phone, they simply offered to make the dish again and I could pick it up. Understandably, my wife didn't have any appetite for it anymore. There was no other alternative. That's a shame and not customer-oriented. We won't be eating or ordering there again for the time being.

If you don't like it too spicy, you can also make the food milder. Highly recommend the homemade lemonade and the mango lassi.

The food was delicious and even plentiful. The service was very friendly and prompt. What was disturbing in the restaurant was the smell of cooking and the very loud, seemingly argumentative conversation in Vietnamese coming from the kitchen. It wasn't pleasant.

Had the No. 80 (sesame salmon) Not much salmon, way too much soy, and a handful of dry rice with half a tomato. I'm still looking for the rest of the vegetables. Also, the quality of the ingredients is rather mediocre. Service was nice, and I didn't have to wait long, which doesn't really surprise me.

We went to dinner without a reservation on a Tuesday and had no problem. Good service and delicious food. The problem came when it was time to pay. I asked to pay with cash, but they didn't understand me, so I paid by card. And here comes the surprise when they force me to tip, choosing between 7%, 14%, or 21% of the amount, which was €41. I asked what that meant, and in German, they gave me a reply I didn't understand and pointed to 7%. I guess my expression said, "You're ripping me off." Tipping isn't mandatory, and I leave it if I want to, not because I'm forced to. Be careful with this trick.

I have never eaten sushi that tastes better than here. We come here regularly. Simply top 👍 The plates are individual and not mass produced. Our children also love the soups.

I've always enjoyed eating and ordering from this restaurant. But what's this? Nothing's holding together. No offense, but which intern made this roll? I would never give it to the delivery person like that. The only positive aspect is: lots of salmon. But all the rolls fall apart and are all different heights. Not pleasing to the eye. At least it tastes good. Next time, please order whole rolls.

This is the worst restaurant I've ever eaten at. The beef in the pho was dry and tough, and the sushi rolls fell apart when they arrived. The ingredients were all of very poor quality. I have to give the restaurant a bad rating.

I struggle to understand the rave reviews. Service is non-existent, servers are rude and arrogant, we waited a long time before having our orders taken. The food is disappointing, it’s a shame to call it Vietnamese food. Spring roll is huge but is filled with noodles and has no taste other than the sweet hoisin dipping sauce. The sauce for Bun tasted like water, the only thing that saved it was the sriracha provided on the table. Never again.

Delicious food at reasonable prices. Tipping is set at a minimum of 7%. I find this ridiculous; if I do leave a tip, I want to decide the amount myself.
