Codo is always a good choice. Friendly staff and great food. Simply fantastic for vegetarians and vegans.

Tasty dishes. But nothing special. Prices are affordable, it's not expensive. I recommend it if you like Vietnamese cuisine

Staff is rude to delivery drivers. They usually take a lot more time to prepare our food and mark it as a driver's failure on the receipt. (Working for Lieferando)

The food was so-so... Not good, but not bad either. We went there on a recommendation, but it didn't taste as good as we expected.

The atmosphere is typical of Neustadt, but the food is absolutely delicious. A good restaurant before visiting the Schauburg.

Fried noodles that weren't fried. As for vegetables, there weren't the usual variety of fried ones, but rather just a few lettuce leaves and shredded cabbage.

The food is amazing, soooo delicious, and the portions are really large. I highly recommend Côdô. And the sushi is so fresh and delicious.

A very good restaurant with Asian cuisine and sushi, we ordered several noodles with chicken and duck Teryaki Chiken, Mi Vit and Ga Chan. All the dishes were aesthetically prepared and served, and above all, tasty. Priced around EUR 14 per dish. You can also order attractive-looking sushi sets. The service is nice and efficient, the dishes appeared on our table quickly, even though the restaurant was practically full of guests. It's a good idea to make a reservation during lunch and evening hours.

Ramen was very tasty, as was my wife's meal. Waiters tried hard, but the wrong food arrived first.

I have known the Codo since it opened on Alauenstr. and was always satisfied. But now the ambience and the quality/quantity of the food at Codo in the city center are better. My friend had the same dish in both restaurants and in the city center the sushi was better in taste and also more. She was really surprised when it was served.

I was there to pick up, so no review for the ambience. Unfortunately it wasn't convincing, I had ordered tempura, unfortunately it was covered in a very spicy sauce and with dry tuna. My wife's mango tofu was finished with carrots and didn't taste convincing. Unfortunately the price-performance ratio is not right!

I recommend Côdô. The atmosphere is appealing, the offerings are extensive and the service is really good.

Took tips without asking. Charged us the wrong item. Did not show itemised bill before paying. Red flag. Unethical. Do not support these kind of places.

Unfortunately the food wasn't as tasty as expected. Mint tofu was a bit bland. The sushi was good for that.

A very well rated restaurant and rightly so. The food is always fresh and brought to the table quickly. The ambience invites you to linger.

I tried their Miso Ramen and it was really good. Unlike other Ramen place they gave one full egg and not just half an egg and the noodles were also of good quality.

The two of us ordered a fried platter, which wasn't actually listed as vegetarian on the menu, but the staff was kind enough to serve a vegetarian one. The food and drink came super quickly. It's only 4 stars because we got 2 sauces, but they were hard to distinguish from each other and weren't spicy enough for us. But we can definitely recommend it, we just wanted to snack while waiting between two trains and it suited us very well. One star is missing for the ambience because the toilet was a bit unpleasant.

I had the pleasure of visiting this store on Valentine's Day (February 14, 2025). We made a reservation online and also received a booking confirmation. As soon as we got there, a queue had already formed and the restaurant was extremely full. We had 4 people in front of us and 15-20 people behind us. When we were asked after about 10 minutes whether we had reserved, we were told that the website had been inactive for about two years and was no longer maintained. Almost 30 people left at once in a bad mood. I wouldn't have imagined something like that at such a well-known restaurant.

We liked the service, the speed of preparation of the dish and the taste of the order.

We had reserved a table via the online portal, which seemed to work seamlessly, and we even received a confirmation email. But after standing in the entrance area for twenty minutes, we were fobbed off with the fact that the online reservations "wouldn't arrive at the restaurant" and only telephone reservations worked. Afterwards we were sent out of the restaurant along with many other guests. Such a cheek, and on Valentine's Day too? I wouldn't have a problem with this story if at least the online reservations on the website were either abolished, or a big warning message appeared when the page was opened with the message "Online reservations are temporarily suspended."

Absolute impudence! We reserved a table via the website. However, when we were there, we found out that the online reservation had no influence on the reservation. We were therefore sent away without a table.

They didn't accept our reservation because we booked a table online. They told us post-factum that it is only possible to reserve a place by phone. Thanks for nothing.

Reserved 4 days before Valentine's Day and then we were told that online reservations were not valid!! The entire line had the problem and we were simply sent out of the restaurant!! I've never experienced anything like that, so unfortunately 1 star, I would have liked to have eaten there but never again after something like that. Both very disappointed

I had the pleasure of celebrating at this Vietnamese restaurant and it was simply amazing! From the first minute I felt warmly welcome. The ambience was cozy and inviting, perfect for a special occasion like my birthday. The cocktails I ordered were an absolute highlight! Every sip was a pleasure – fresh, creative and perfectly mixed. I particularly liked the fruity blue tea cocktail. The staff was super friendly and really looked after us, which made the evening even more special. I highly recommend this restaurant! If you're looking for delicious Vietnamese food and amazing cocktails, this is the place. I'll definitely be back!

I ate at the Vietnamese restaurant on February 8th, 2025 and it was super great! The food was fresh and full of flavor, the atmosphere was welcoming and the staff were very friendly and attentive. The fried noodles and spring rolls are particularly recommended. I highly recommend this restaurant!

Disappointed. We were so impressed by the Côdô in the old town with the same name that we wanted to try it here too. Ambiance and service were average, so okay. We didn't like the food. My companion's curry tasted bland, the chicken in my meal somehow didn't taste good, so I sorted it out completely and left it alone. My companion had diarrhea the next morning...I don't know. The toilets are disgusting, overall it doesn't seem the cleanest. I wouldn't go there again. The contrast to the old town restaurant is really big, everything was really good there. Too bad!

We had lunch at Albertplatz. It's very nice to sit outside. Places are well protected from sun and rain. Large selection of food and drinks. Actually way too much. Food tasty and inexpensive. Points will be deducted in the ambience. The reason is the condition of the toilets. You shouldn't be overweight. The cleanliness is also not optimal.

Ordered sushi there today. The last time I ordered there was a year ago and found a bone in the salmon. I wanted to give it all another chance today. Well... another bone in the sushi. I often eat elsewhere and have never had any problems there. It's funny.

The atmosphere is really nice and cozy. On the other hand, the food wasn't great. (All 6 people) Plus, it took too long for a Monday. (Over an hour) This can be organized better. The price was significantly higher than the performance. What I can recommend: the sushi wine is very, very good.

Coming to Dresden to introduce to foreign friends a Vietnamese restaurant, not too far from Hbf, there are many branches. If you visit Pfunds Molkerei, it takes about 10 minutes to walk from there. Convenient location. The price is quite good compared to the food, especially the duck noodle dish, there is a lot of duck and the duck is very delicious, well processed, crispy and doesn't smell like duck. Northern beef pho is 8/10, but compared to the other dishes, it will pale in comparison if you are trying Vietnamese food for the first time. In particular, the Crispy Chicken served with rice is extremely delicious, the mango sauce is very fragrant and creamy, not spicy at all for Europeans. But the chicken noodle dish is normal. Highly recommend the crispy chicken rice with sauce, duck noodles, and pho, which I think are also delicious but not as good as the other dishes. Foreigners who eat Vietnamese food here really enjoy it, they eat it all, the iced milk coffee is also delicious, very good like Saigon flat coffee (4.7e)

Visited on a Monday when almost all restaurants in the area were closed. We ordered ramen on the advice of the waiter. Portions are large with lots of meat. Very tasty.

A cozy Vietnamese restaurant with delicious food. Highly recommended are the soups with chicken or beef, the spring rolls with shrimp or the mango chicken salad.

Very good prices and the food is so delicious. The 4 of us shared a vegetarian hot pot and ordered side dishes and the sushi bento 1. It was the tastiest thing I've eaten in a long time. Hot pot is totally fun and a great experience.

Despite delicious food, terrible service, rude, stressed and insulting response to a request to turn a chair 90 degrees and move it to the other side of the table because the guest didn't want to sit in the passageway. Due to unprofessional and insulting treatment (or the waiter literally started shouting and didn't let us finish at all) we all lost our appetite and left straight away. That's why never again Codo. There are many other delicious and very professional alternative restaurants in the New Town in the immediate vicinity such as Pho Viet, Mikado or Hanoi - I would definitely recommend it as it will save you some nerves.

Trotz leckerem Essen ist mir schon immer wieder aufgefallen, dass der Service etwas ignorant rüber kommt. Aber als wir gestern da waren hat der Kellner auf unsere Anfrage den Stuhl um 90 Grad an die andere Seite des Tisches zu stellen (dabei war es keinem im Weg und hätte niemanden gestört) richtig beleidigend reagiert, er hat angefangen zu schreien und uns anzupampen. Wir sind aufgestanden zum Gehen und wollten dem Kellner noch mal darauf aufmerksam machen, dass dies kein Umgang ist und dass er es generell so mit Kunden nicht machen darf, daraufhin hat er uns mitten im Wort unterbrochen und direkt angefangen uns wieder anzuschreien, sodass von allen Tischen die Gäste sich umgedreht haben. Ich würde Codo auf keinen Fall empfehlen. In direkter Nachbarschaft davon (2-3 min Fußweg) gibt es richtig gute Alternativen, die zum sogar etwas mehr leckerem Essen noch einen richtig professionellen Service bieten, wie Pho Viet, Hà Nội oder Mikado - und eigentlich gibt es sogar viel mehr - einfach mal googeln

You will definitely get delicious food on your plate. What bothered me, however, was the noise in the restaurant, which is due to the furnishings, because the room is not that big and people sit close together. Still very friendly staff.

I wasn't full and half the dish was sauce. The food was delicious, the rooms were nice and the service was super nice. But I had to buy crackers at the supermarket afterwards to be full in the evening.

I love this Vietnamese restaurant, we were brought here by our Vietnamese friend and were immediately impressed. It tastes like Hoa and Sony at home. The service is perfect, everyone has their job here and they do it very well. The restaurant is always busy and it is advisable to reserve in advance. The staff is just nice, Asian culture and Sharm. So if you like delicious Asian food, we highly recommend this restaurant.

Authentic food and friendly service. I'm not necessarily happy with the cleanliness of the tables. The menu is very extensive, so there is something for everyone. It is located right next to the tram and is therefore easy to reach by public transport.

We have reserved a table for 6 people. The reservation was successful and we were seated at the specified time. Soups, sushi and daily specials were ordered. Unfortunately, 1 drink and 1 daily special were forgotten when ordering. So 2 people had to wait a little longer. The sushi itself wasn't bad, but it could have had a little more filling, e.g. There can be salmon in it. You almost only had rice in your mouth. The soups, on the other hand, were strong and tasted very good. Despite its late arrival, the daily curry dish was also very tasty. All dishes were prepared very professionally. The homemade lemonades and cocktails were also very fresh and everyone enjoyed them. Overall the evening was very pleasant. Even if the service wasn't perfect, we will come back again.

The ambience and service are good, but unfortunately the food is more mass than quality. My takeaway order was once again so overcooked that it kept falling off the cutlery. Very difficult to eat, a straw would have helped better here. I don't understand why you have to drown overcooked pasta and vegetables in the sauce. After all, it wasn't soup according to the menu, so I even checked again. Seemed like it had been pre-cooked and quickly heated up too hot.

I came here spontaneously in the evening and was very surprised by the selection! I grew up with Vietnamese food and was craving a delicious noodle soup during my stay in Dresden! Besides Pho, they also had other authentic noodle soups that I tried. The bun thit nuong was also very tasty. Next time I'll try the hot pot!

I had ordered Sommer rollen and ramen. Sommer rollen was very good, tasted fresh. Ramen was okay. Nothing extraordinary. I had been to a different location of Codo earlier and liked that better. Overall it was decent.

I was at Codo on Albertplatz this lunchtime and unfortunately I have to say that I was personally disappointed. The restaurant was still quite empty (besides me there were 3-4 other tables occupied by individuals and couples). After I sat down, no one came to take my order for more than 15 minutes. When I went to the counter and wanted to order politely, it took another 5 minutes before I was finally able to do so. It's a shame because one of the employees was unfortunately on his cell phone several times. In general, I expect good service staff to come to the table not just when asked and not just to bring the food. At first glance, the menu is visually very well structured and aesthetic. However, this (just like the table, by the way) is extremely sticky (and no, unfortunately it's not due to sticky cleaning products). Unfortunately very very unpleasant. The food was good, appetizingly prepared and came quickly, but in no way outweighs the service and cleanliness.

I've always enjoyed going to Codo, but recently the two of us were there for lunch. There was a hustle and bustle atmosphere and it was very loud. My food came and 20 minutes later the food of my companion, which I found to be a no-go.
