A very beautiful and lovingly furnished house. Very friendly and helpful staff. We felt very comfortable there and will definitely come back again.

Good home cooking and delicious fish dishes

The potatoes weren't cooked until tender, so they were still too hard in places. The mushroom sauce had an indefinable taste and was a very thick mush. The salmon fillet was good and very tender, making it the highlight of the meal. Overall verdict: We definitely won't be coming back!

We didn't have a table reservation, but we still managed to get a seat despite a large party. The service was very friendly and attentive. The food (fish platter) was beyond our expectations. A definite recommendation for anyone who likes fish.

We stumbled upon it by chance when we were in Emden. It's a lovely spot surrounded by greenery. It has a lovely large terrace and an extensive menu. There are coloring pages, crayons, and some toys for the kids. Great service!

A quaint country house on the Uphuser Meer. If you're in the area, this place is a must-visit. East Frisian cuisine at its finest.

Nice restaurant, you should eat here sometime. It's very nice here, and the restaurant can also be rented. It's a bit out of the way, but very nice.

Very, very good food, but as good as the food was, the waitress (the lady in charge) was unfriendly and rude. Completely unnecessary.

We came for tea and cake. They smoke in the restaurant... the cake was inedible, tasted like it was a week old...

it's wonderful restaurant❤️ and it's only one restaurant around but I had no cash money i had only with me bank card I was like to drink café but in service they telling me the price start from 10€ i hope they can change that.

SUPER EVERYTHING, GLADLY AGAIN ‼️

The fish and chips were good. The fried potatoes, unfortunately, weren't... They were boiled potatoes that had only briefly seen the frying pan. And they tasted "old." The side salad was a bit dry. And the schnitzel was unfortunately drowned in the sauce. The young waitress was very nice and quick. 👍 Otherwise, time and decor stood still.

The schnitzel with the asparagus was very tasty, but the asparagus wasn't cooked properly. Otherwise everything was great.

We visited the restaurant on a hot summer day and were overall very satisfied with the food and the ambiance. The dishes were delicious, freshly prepared, and the portions were perfectly adequate – a real treat! We also really liked the ambiance: stylish, cozy, and inviting. Unfortunately, we have to raise one significant criticism: the way the service staff treated our small children was very unfriendly and disappointing for us. I understand that the day was certainly stressful due to the heat – but that doesn't make the job any easier. Nevertheless, the way my daughters were treated was not acceptable to me. Friendliness and patience, especially towards small children, should not be neglected even in stressful situations. Conclusion: The food and atmosphere were top-notch – but there is still considerable room for improvement when it comes to service towards families with small children.

The food was not good. The pork medallions were very dry, and the fried eel wasn't crispy. They charged an extra €6 for a little sauce. Outrageous! My comment that my meat was dry was ignored. Regarding the fried eel, they said they should order it extra crispy to make it crispy. We were then asked if we wanted another shot. This was nicely added to the bill!

The boss is a bit cheeky, otherwise the staff is very nice and the food is good

It was the best meal we've had in a restaurant for a long time. We had pike perch with salad, fried potatoes, tartar sauce and liquid butter at an unbeatable price and extremely tasty. Absolutely recommended. You won't find the espresso with delicious crema again so quickly either. Absolutely recommended. When we come back to the area this will be an absolute must.

Meat seems to taste good, vegetarian colleagues can't even handle potatoes. The water is Gerolsteiner and the electrical system is apparently not regularly checked for safety. Particularly for the young lady Mareke Endjers, further training on how to deal with customers appropriately would be recommended. Not wheelchair accessible. LG Schetzberg family

Food was tasty but expensive!! (small bottle of water 3 euros. Outrageous) Service was cheeky and they had no plan. In addition, the staff smokes in the restaurant and that is forbidden. Smoking in the restaurant is forbidden and disrespectful to children and non-smokers... I cannot recommend the restaurant

Good German food with a cozy atmosphere.

The food was super tasty. The boss took the order personally. This woman is simply amazing. Super nice, real East Frisian, quick-witted and simply great. Drinks were brought quickly. Unfortunately the restaurant is a bit hidden, but it's worth it.

Super friendly and extremely fast staff. Entertaining and absolutely prudent, our glasses weren't completely empty when the next ones were already coming around the corner. A rather hidden but beautifully traditional restaurant. A very attractive menu and fair prices. Generous portions and my highlight, freshly baked apple and plum cake. Yummy. We were there relatively late in the evening and were welcomed with open arms. Thank you very much. PS: Fish lovers will get their money's worth here. Meat lovers have a rather small but fine selection.

Beautiful, rustic East Frisian atmosphere in a beautiful location. Very friendly service and quick service. I had fried walleye. A really generous portion and super tasty. With all the trimmings... melted butter, boiled potatoes with a little parsley, a tartar sauce and a salad plate. I was pleasantly surprised by the price. 20 euros plus drinks. We really enjoyed the evening.

Absolute disaster, I didn't like the food at all and I like eating fish and know what good fish is. The staff wasn't particularly friendly and the atmosphere wasn't really nice either. A third of the price would have easily been enough

My husband ate the chicken soup. After the first spoonful came: Like my grandma's 😁 and he beamed as if it were Christmas. Then came the fish platter😁😋😁 every bite was a pleasure 👌 It's a shame we only came by there today. We would have liked to come again. But unfortunately our vacation ends tomorrow 😢 The service is world class and the ambience is wonderful. If we ever come back to this area, we will enjoy this good cuisine several times Ps the grain is also very tasty

Food was very good. We recommend. Unfortunately the tone between conditions was very rough. We suspect the boss or an older employee was very rude and treated the other colleagues badly. This affects the guests. Unfortunately, the food and the price were great.

The food is to die for. I've been there twice. Both times a very unfriendly greeting and an unfriendly approach. No disabled toilet - unfortunately. You can really work on the service, including when making reservations. If it weren't for the good food, it would be a no go.

It's a shame according to the website it's open, there's a sign on the door saying "closed, open from 5:30 p.m. I find it very rude not to announce changed opening times to the guest. Not everyone comes to the door by car. This makes it difficult to plan bike tours.

First of all 4 stars because there is always room for improvement The restaurant is rustic and quaint, the service was nice and courteous. We were able to bring our dog with us***** Food was tasty and plentiful (schnitzel and fish platter) and the price was reasonable. All in all we will definitely come back 😉

In my opinion, the ambience is towards “rustic - martim” but all in all very pleasant. I find the service typically “East Frisian”. A bit "harsh tone" but once you get used to it it's really endearing. As far as the food is concerned, absolutely recommended! The fish dishes in particular are just great!

Little story. Imagine the three of you coming into a restaurant, being greeted warmly and sitting directly at your reserved seat. Drinks at your place in 3 minutes. Ordered food after a short time. Mixed fish plate Rika. Price at €23.50 is completely okay! After 10 minutes the salad came, nothing special but with a good sauce, which makes it special again. Another 10 minutes. The main course arrived. Perfectly fried. Extremely good in taste. Never had anything comparable. Our daughter had the Jägerschnitzel. A little of my own creation, but great for me. The portion sizes were easily sufficient. We were packed! The staff was also very friendly and accommodating. All in all the perfect evening!!! Thank you very much, we will definitely be back!

A very nice and cozy restaurant. It still has that "old" feel, but is absolutely not old-fashioned. The food is very tasty and rich; no matter from fish or meat. Always recommended for a visit!!!

Das Essen war sehr gut. Waren mit vier Personen da. Haben zweimal Fisch und zweimal Fleisch gegessen. Die Portionen waren mehr als genug. Es lohnt sich hier zu essen.

Das Essen war sehr gut und lecker.

Fischplatten für 8 Personen vorbestellt.Waren dann mit 7 Personen vor Ort. Wurden gleich pampig drauf hingewiesen für 8 zu bezahlen,was für uns kein Problem sein sollte. Essen war lecker aber nicht genug. Personal eher Unfreundlich.Schnaps hatte Zimmertemperatur . Dafür war das Bier wenigstens kalt. Fazit...man kann über einige Sachen hinweg sehen aber nicht wenn man Unfreundlich behandelt wird. Zum ersten Mal dort gewesen und nicht nochmal.

Wir hatten uns mit 8 Personen angemeldet sind dann leider nur 7 Personen gewesen. Vorab ....das essen war geschmacklich gut. Aber die Bedienung war absolut unfreundlich.Zudem haben wir obwohl wir für 8 Personen eine fischplatte bestellt haben noch was nachbestellen müssen weil wir nicht satt geworden sind. Für den Preis einfach zu wenig ! Wir kommen leider nicht wieder !

Per Zufall entdeckt und gleich ausprobiert. Typische norddeutsche Gerichte. Fisch ist besonders zu empfehlen. Das Ambiente ist passend zum Standort und Karte. Unbedingt vorher anrufen und reservieren.

mal schnell einen Kaffee trinken und dazu leckeren Kuchen genießen. Selbst zu Herbstzeiten macht es Laune draußen zu sitzen und die Stille zu genießen 🍰☕

Sehr hübsches rustikale Restaurant. Hier gibs sehr leckeren Fisch und ist immer ein Besuch wert.

Mein Zander war leider komplett ungewürzt und fad. Die Kartoffeln waren geschmacklich super. Die ältere Bedienung (Chefin?) war eher weniger freundlich und reagierte auf meine Bitte, das Salatdressig extra zu servieren, sehr schnippisch. Insgesamt wurde uns ständig über den Mund gefahren. Die junge Bedienung war dafür umso freundlicher. Insgesamt war es recht düster dort. Die Getränke waren auch sehr teuer für die Menge. Unsere Rechnung wurde zudem falsch ausgestellt. Über 50 € wurden uns zu viel berechnet. Für den Preis nicht wieder.

Die kurzhaarige, Blonde (glaube die Chefin) ist leider unfassbar maulig und lässt ihre Launen an der Kundschaft aus. Ich bin noch nie in meinem Leben in einer Gaststätte dermaßen unfreundlich „bedient“ worden. Die andere Kellnerin war super nett, die hätte ihre Chefin meiner Meinung nach lieber in der Küche einsperren sollen. Das Essen war gut. Am Ende standen 50€ zu viel auf der Rechnung.

Ich habe es gewagt..ohne vorher zu Bestellen die Toilette zu benutzen..da stand sie schon mit dem Lappen an der Tür. Als wir dann später bestellt haben...wurde ihre Laune etwas...Betonung liegt auf etwas...besser. Wir sie gezwungen da zu arbeiten??? Man konnte schön draußen sitzen und der Kuchen war lecker.

Etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Aber das Essen war sehr gut und die Bedienung war sehrvfreundlich und das Essen kam schnell.

Obwohl wir nun schon seit fast 10 Jahren nicht all zu weit weg wohnen, sind wir zwar häufiger an Endjers Landhaus vorbeigekommen, aber nie drin gewesen. Das haben wir heute endlich nachgeholt - und werden es mit Sicherheit auch wiederholen. Das Essen - wir hatten ein Fisch- und ein Fleischgericht - hat uns 100%ig überzeugt (schon der Vorspeisensalat konnte bei uns Salatskeptikern punkten), wir wurden freundlich empfangen (obwohl wir nicht reserviert hatten) und sind pappsatt nach Hause gekommen. Kartenzahlung klappte auch wunderbar. Alles in allem ein sehr schöner Ausklang fürs Wochenende 😃

Das Restaurant (und die Einrichtung wenn ich raten würde) gibt es seit 1995. Eigentlich sehr schade. Am Ostersonntag war es gut besucht. Die Speisen haben mich enttäuscht. Schweinemedaillons mit Bratkartoffeln und der Fisch gegenüber überzeugten überhaupt nicht im Vergleich zu anderen Restaurants. Sehr enttäuschend. Service? Vorhanden Behindertengerechte Toilette. Nein. (Rollstuhl passt nicht auf der Herrentoilette) Am Eingang ist eine Stufe zu überwinden. Parkplätze vor Ort. Bushaltestelle vor Ort.

Wer leckeren, frisch gebratenen Fisch essen möchte, ist hier genau richtig! Wir kommen gerne wieder. Sehr gute Küche und Service!

Wir waren sehr zufrieden. Hatten eine Kartoffelsuppe mit Rauchaalstreifen .... super interessant diese Kombi und mega lecker. Als Hauptgericht die Fischplatte .... TOP ... sehr lecker. Wir kommen wieder.

Wir waren angemeldet. Unser Tisch war reserviert. Alle ausgesuchten Speisen waren vorzüglich zu bereitet. Einfach lecker. Wir kommen gerne wieder. Die Preise passen. Wir haben uns wohl gefühlt in Endjers Landhaus. Unsere einzige Anregung: Die Stufe beim Eingang sollte Behinderten gerecht umgebaut werden.

Ein schöner Landgasthof mit "ehrlicher Küche". Wir haben leckere Fischteller gegessen. Die dazugehörigen Saucen würden wir beim nächsten Mal abbestellen und stattdessen nur die selbstgemachten Senf- und Dillsaucen dazubestellen. Die sind reichlich und super lecker. Gut, dass wir am Freitagabend in Emden keinen Platz gefunden haben, sonst wären wir nie hier gelandet.
