Super delicious food, very friendly service and the view of the Elbe is beautiful even in winter.

We had dinner. We were taken great care of. Everything was to our complete satisfaction. I can highly recommend the restaurant.

We spontaneously went to the restaurant for lunch today and were immediately given a free table. The waiters were all very quick and nice. The food was super tasty. Waiter 《02》 served us. We would like to thank you for the nice hospitality and would be happy to come back.

Ein wunderbares Restaurant mit sehr zuvorkommendem Service. Der Blick auf die Elbe und die Atmosphäre sind einzigartig. Wir haben mit 11 Personen a la carte gegessen, alle waren sehr zufrieden. Alle Speisen waren auf den Punkt, die abwechslungsreiche Karte bietet sowohl vegetarische Gerichte als auch für Fleischliebhaber eine tolle Auswahl. Besonders gut gefällt uns, dass die „sächsischen Klassiker“ nicht fehlen und der Opa seinen geliebten Kaiserschmarrn essen kann! Absolut empfehlenswert!

Great menu, great view, attentive service

The location and the view are great. The service was also ok, but asking at the end how we're going to do the tip isn't an option. Price performance, too expensive for the small portion.

Were invited to Christmas lunch today. Food was in the average range, but a bit of a mess (the mood was generally tense because the waiter also seemed visibly annoyed, which is why this wasn't served) Vegetables were barely cooked, seasoning was rather neutral. Service staff seemed a bit sulky, when paying with the card the waiter asked: “How do we want to do with the tip?” When we asked whether there were goose legs available, we were told that it wasn't Christmas yet. Unfortunately there wasn't enough for a lot of money to go there again.

I only went to the restaurant but the food was so delicious. I can recommend everyone to go there just because of the food. Simply delicious, nice waiters and great ambience. Located directly on the Elbe with a beautiful garden and fountain. I wasn't in the hotel, but the restaurant was enough. Highly recommended!!!!!!!!

Beautiful location on the Elbe. The food and wine were excellent. The service was friendly and not intrusive. We shared 3 courses and were more than full. The attentive employee brought a second set of cutlery and plates without being asked. We felt very comfortable here and will be back.

A beautifully located location with a welcoming atmosphere and furnishings, both indoors and outdoors with a great view of the Elbe meadows. Culinary with convincing German cuisine and good wine. The service was professional and courteous and friendly. Clear recommendation. Points only deducted for the portions. They could be a little bigger.

Beautifully located restaurant directly on the Elbe. Even if it's a little further out, the journey is worth it. Attractive interior and very friendly staff. The order was taken quickly and professionally and drinks and food arrived after a fairly short wait. The portion size of the food was perhaps a bit more aimed at an older audience, but the food was deliciously prepared and tasty. Prices are sometimes a bit high depending on the location. Parking can be a bit tricky if you don't arrive early, but so far we've always found a way. Card payment possible without any problems.

We were invited to a family celebration for lunch. Hello staff, polite and accommodating. However, the food could still be worked on. However, spaetzle doesn't go well with sauerbraten with red cabbage, it didn't look like it would be better to serve dumplings or potatoes. Otherwise nice view.

Since we like the location with the view of the Elbe, we came here again after a long time and were not disappointed. The food was excellent and plentiful for us. Wine was also very good. Great restaurant with a wonderful view, good cuisine, high prices and very good service. The history of the inn goes back to 1870. This is beautifully described in the menu along with the local history. There is still part of the old Elbe terrace as an outdoor seating/beer garden. This is beautifully shady and partly paved, with a beautiful view over the Elbe. Inside, everything is modern and dark. The menu is balanced and the offering is very good. There are many choices, from small starters to dessert. Everything is in the upper price range and nothing for those on a tight budget. The service was very friendly, courteous and quick. We have been guests here a few times. The fish soup is a small bowl of soup that is a little over-spiced/over-seasoned with a lot of vegetables, some fish and shrimp. At this price there is still room for improvement in terms of quality. The Cordon Bleu was very tasty, well stuffed and fried juicy. If you're really hungry, you should choose an appetizer. Chips and peas were good. Here, too, there is still room for improvement in terms of price-performance ratio. The Viennese veal schnitzel was delicious, large portion, simply top and highly recommended despite the hefty price. The selection of drinks is completely sufficient. There are regional and well-known brands of wine, beer, various and non-alcoholic drinks. Of course there is a sufficient selection of warm drinks. The view over the Elbe is great and you can also go for a walk here. The restaurant can be reached by public transport. Limited parking spaces are available. In the evening it becomes rather difficult. If the weather is nice, you should also make a reservation in the garden, otherwise you could be out of luck. The minus point is that the location is not barrier-free and suitable for people with disabilities. The clean modern toilets are in the basement. The beer garden is rather uneven and has steps, but with a walker it gets exciting. Conclusion: So far it's always been good, you can occasionally afford it with the necessary change. Very nice atmosphere with a great view in summer. But there is still room for improvement to the 5th star.

Were there repeatedly for dinner. This time we weren't completely satisfied. Service attentive...great Unfortunately the fish soup is not worth its price. Fried potatoes were lukewarm, soggy and the fat had drowned the salad. I really wanted it because the brawn is excellent. The in-house lemonade consisted of a little syrup and lots of ice cubes and water. It was tastier the other day. It's a shame, but I won't compromise on prices anymore.

Top location directly on the Elbe and the Elbe cycle path. The terrace is lovely in summer. We are repeatedly very satisfied with the food and the service (only visiting the restaurant - not in the hotel). Everything freshly prepared and very tasty! The prices are high (but where will that not be the case in 2024). Beer at the moment €5.20 - fair price. We'd love to come back!

The restaurant is very good in terms of the food and the staff. Unfortunately, as is usual in the catering industry these days, the prices are too high for me. The location at the table outside is very good, with a clear view of the Elbe. The rooms are still not of the same class as the restaurant, but they also have a view of the Elbe.

The view is great, but the fried potatoes were totally soggy, the homemade strawberry-currant lemonade with artificial, sweet syrup and the dumplings were dry. Only the schnitzel was very tasty.

Beautiful idyllic location, waiting time for food was 55 minutes, the fish dish (duet) is more of a pasta dish with maybe 100g of fish, but the food was tasty

We would have liked to eat here, there were still plenty of places available outside, but when the weather was nice we were only allowed to go inside. Still others were sitting outside. Then not.

Really great atmosphere! Really great food! Very good service and the view, whether on the terrace or in the beer garden, is amazing. As a native of Dresden, I unfortunately didn't even know the Wachwitz Elbe terrace; I came here for the first time for a birthday and we were all very excited :-) just the view alone, you can sit there longer in the warm evening hours and enjoy the view of the Elbe. We had to wait an average amount of time for the food; it didn't come too quickly or too late. A big compliment goes out to the kitchen - my husband has been raving about your cream of asparagus soup for weeks, it's the best he's ever eaten. We'll be back soon!

Spontan mit 6 Leuten zum Abendessen im Wintergarten. Anfängliche Startschwierigkeiten der Bedienung waren dem Besuch etwas abträglich. Das Ambiente eigentlich wundervoll mit direkter Lage zur Elbe. Parkplätze vorhanden . Das Essen zwar handwerklich gut, aber es schien ein lustloser Tag in der Wochenmitte gewesen zu sein. Die Speisen waren allesamt aus der Fertigküche und wiesen keine Raffinesse auf. Vermutlich wird niemand von uns freiwillig das Restaurant ein 2. x besuchen .

Were invited to a family celebration on February 17, 2024. The location was great. The room was very nice for family gatherings. Service was great. Except that the kitchen closed at 8:30 p.m. on Saturday and we were "kicked out" bit by bit from 10 p.m. onwards, we enjoyed the evening with very tasty food.

Just the word “Elbterrasse” conjures up images of romantic sunsets in my head. I mean, the location is perfect. The service is quick, friendly, attentive and genuinely interested in ensuring you are happy with your choice of food. I liked that very much. The food is good, home-style and the prices are ok. A little more seasoning would have been good for the dishes and the Braumeistersteak could have used more cheese filling. Good selection of draft beers. The steep stairs to the quiet village could be a real challenge for people who are no longer able to walk very well. Conclusion: a visit is worth it, even without sunset.

A beautiful restaurant, with a large terrace. The food is delicious. The service is very, very nice. There is also a small, nice hotel here with a few holiday rooms. It's a wonderful place to stay overnight.

Toller Ort, leckeres Essen und tolles Personal, Danke für die schönen Tage zum Jahreswechsel. Zimmer sind klein, bieten jedoch einen hervorragenden Blick auf die Elbe.

Ruhig gelegen, direkt an der Elbe, toller Biergarten und das Essen ist sehr gut. Personal ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Leider ist es nicht unbedingt geeignet für ältere Menschen, da es keinen Aufzug gibt und die Zimmer seht klein sind. Es gibt aber eine schöne Terrasse am Zimmer mit einem Tisch, 2 Stühlen und 1 Sonnenschirm.Man muss aber beachten, dss man immer fahren muß, wenn man in die Stadt will, Entfernung 10 km.

Zum Hotel kann ich leider keine Angaben machen. Wir haben dort nur das Restaurant aufgesucht. Die Speisekarte war erst mal sehr herzlich weihnachtlich gestaltet. Das Angebot der Speisen war überschaubar, was ich im Grunde genommen sehr gut finde. Bedienung des Service waren rundherum hervorragend. Man konnte gemütlich sitzen, und jeder Wunsch wurde umgehend erfüllt. Wir haben dort hervorragend gegessen und das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis war absolut in Ordnungdie Speisen selbst waren sehr liebevoll zubereitet und sehr lecker. Für jeden Besucher des Restaurants ist was auf der Speisekarte zu finden und er wird nicht enttäuscht sein. Selbst unsere Freunde, die Veganer sind haben das entsprechende gefunden.

Ein sehr gemütliches Hotel mit sehr netten Mitarbeitern, gutem Essen und auch die Umgebung macht Lust auf mehr. Das Preisleistungsverhältnis ist okay. Wir haben uns hier sehr wohlgefühlt und kommen gerne wieder. Zimmer hätten etwas wärmer sein können.

Einfache Küche, handwerklich nicht so gut für den Preis. Lage schön an der Elbe. Service überfordert.
