Köstliche Burritos. Die Rote-Bete-Crêpes mit Rindfleisch und Hähnchenfleisch waren ebenfalls sehr lecker. Die Piña Colada war gut. Der Service war sehr freundlich.

Update: Nach 2 Jahren haben wir das Restaurant erneut besucht, und wurden nicht enttäuscht. Alles so gut wie beim letzten mal! Wir wurden wieder sehr freundlich bedient, das Essen war klasse :-) In dem Restaurant fühlten wir uns sofort wohl. Wir wurden sehr freundlich bedient, die Auswahl der Gerichte ist umfangreich und die mexikanischen Spezialitäten wurden uns gut erklärt. Das Essen war mit frischen Zutaten zubereitet, gut gewürzt und sehr lecker. Die Preise sind absolut angemessen. Wir werden sicher wiederkommen :-)

Direkt am Fischmarkt, schon seit 35 Jahren und nun habe ich es endlich geschafft…. Schöne und bunte Einrichtung, sehr freundlicher Service, reichhaltige Karte mit viel vegetarischer Auswahl. Jedes Gericht ist von der Grundausrichtung veggie, man kann aber immer Fleisch dazu ordern. Service war flink am Tisch, sehr entspannt und trotzdem professionell. Essen war alles frisch zubereitet, wir waren etwas überrascht, wie wenig es gewürzt war. Dennoch war alles sehr lecker, alle waren glücklich mit ihrer Wahl: Ob Toast, Tacos oder Burritos: reichlich Belag, ordentliche Portionen und faire Preise. Klare Empfehlung.

Ich wünschte, ich könnte mehr Sterne vergeben, da es bei meinem letzten Besuch einige herausragende Punkte gab. Aber als Mexikaner, der ein mexikanisches Restaurant bewertet, muss ich das Essen besonders hervorheben. Zunächst das Positive: Der Service war exzellent! Obwohl das Restaurant ziemlich voll und gut besucht war, waren die Kellner sehr aufmerksam und freundlich. Das Essen kam schnell und die Getränke wurden sehr ansprechend serviert! Die Micheladas waren köstlich! Und das Restaurant hat eine sehr angenehme Atmosphäre, obwohl es etwas dunkel ist. Das Essen entsprach leider nicht meinem Geschmack. Wer typische Tacos oder Tacos nach mexikanischer Art erwartet, wird hier enttäuscht sein. Es ist eher Tex-Mex-Küche, und ehrlich gesagt hat sie mir nicht besonders gut geschmeckt. Die knusprigen Tacos waren mit einer unglaublichen Menge an Aromen gefüllt, die meinen Gaumen ziemlich überforderten. Kulinarisch gesehen war die Guacamole mit den Nachos mein einziges Highlight. Es ist ein sehr nettes Restaurant, aber nicht das authentische mexikanische Erlebnis, das ich erwartet hatte.

Wir waren im El Tequito essen und rundum begeistert. Das Essen war super lecker, frisch und mit viel Geschmack zubereitet. Besonders hervorzuheben ist auch der wirklich nette und aufmerksame Service, bei dem man sich direkt willkommen fühlt. Die Atmosphäre war angenehm und entspannt, sodass man gerne länger sitzen bleibt. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder und können das Restaurant absolut empfehlen!“

Nett und authentisch international.

Top Atmosphäre, Super Service, immer Aufmerksam, sehr freundlich, und das Essen einfach traumhaft. Auf einer Skala 1-10 war unser Essen mindestens eine 12. Einfach Klasse!!

Alles war von Anfang bis Ende einfach köstlich. Besonders der Rote-Bete-Burrito war perfekt ausbalanciert, frisch und voller Geschmack. Die Quesadilla war ebenso beeindruckend, mit toller Textur und hervorragendem Geschmack. Auch die Mezcal-Margarita hat mir sehr gut gefallen; sie war meisterhaft zubereitet und passte perfekt zum Essen. Einziger kleiner Kritikpunkt: Es war für meinen Geschmack etwas zu viel Frühlingszwiebeln, aber das hat das Gesamterlebnis kaum beeinträchtigt. Darüber hinaus war die Atmosphäre warm und einladend, sodass man sich wunderbar entspannen und eine Mahlzeit genießen konnte. Der Service war durchweg aufmerksam, freundlich und professionell. Alles in allem ein fantastisches kulinarisches Erlebnis. Ich komme auf jeden Fall wieder und kann das Restaurant wärmstens empfehlen!

Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich, aber man merkte, dass sie am Freitagabend unterbesetzt waren. Die Getränke waren wirklich gut, aber das Essen war leider eine ziemliche Enttäuschung. Die Guacamole schmeckte nicht frisch, und das Gemüse in den Fajitas war kaum gegart und kaum gewürzt. Sellerie ist auch eine sehr ungewöhnliche Wahl für Fajitas-Gemüse. Das Hühnerfleisch für die Fajitas war ebenfalls verarbeitet und schlecht gewürzt. Alles in allem würde ich die Fajitas nicht empfehlen. Der Chihuahua-Burrito war in Ordnung. Wenn das Essen etwas besser wäre, bin ich sicher, dass dieses Restaurant ein Erfolg werden könnte, denn die Atmosphäre ist toll.

TOP SERVICE👍👍👍 Waren zu viert hier und fanden die Speisen teilweise recht scharf. Ein kurzer Hinweis an die Kellnerin half - umgehend brachte man uns etwas Sauerrahm zum Abmildern. Als unser Sohn mit dem vermeintlich schärfsten Essen immer noch etwas kämpfte, kam ungefragt noch eine kleinere Portion ohne "scharfe Soße" auf unseren Tisch. Wunderbar! So stelle ich mir aufmerksamen Service vor! Gerne kommen wir wieder - auch die Cocktails waren lecker (auch wenn beim Caipirinha zu Hause mehr Zucker im Mund knirscht😉)

Leckere Tapas und freundliches Personal

Ein superherzlicher Service, der auch noch aussergewöhnlich aufmerksam ist. Und, -nein- das hier ist kein gekaufter Post. 😉😁

Wir waren zu zweit dort. Wir haben einen schönen kleinen Tisch in der Ecke bekommen. Am Anfang war es noch super leer aber gegen 18 Uhr füllte sich das Restaurant. Trotz der vielen Menschen konnte man sich nach wie vor gut unterhalten. Der Service war einfach nur top. Immer super freundlich und sehr zuvor kommend. Wir wurden netterweise drauf hingewiesen das was wir bestellt hatten zum Teil nur Tapas wären was vielleicht nicht ganz satt machen würde wenn man großen Hunger hat und nur eines davon bestellt. Wir haben an dem Abend super viel probiert sowohl das Essen als auch die Cocktails haben mehr als nur überzeugt. Wir werden auf jeden Fall wieder kommen und freuen uns jetzt schon drauf.

Das Essen war gut, für den Preis aber nicht ganz die Qualität und Größe die man erwartet, was vielleicht der Lage geschuldet ist. Das Personal war nicht unhöflich, aber auch nicht freundlich und wirkte fast schon genervt.

Toller netter Service, immer ein netter feuriger Spruch auf den Lippen. Der Kellner war einfach top. Das Essen Mega lecker, wirkt empfehlenswert.

Wir wurden hier empfangen wie Stammgäste , obwohl wir das erste Mal hier waren. Großartig. Das Essen war fabelhaft, kein Convinience- Einheitsbrei sondern sehr lecker und toll angerichtet. Very friendly and attentive staff who are great fun to be around. We didn't even look at the menu much, but asked for recommendations and simply ordered some tapas. Everything was delicious, not overly large portions, but just the right amount. To top it all off, we were offered a complimentary tequila and even a fruity liqueur. Here, hospitality is truly lived and breathed with heart and passion. We'll definitely be back.

The restaurant has a very nice ambiance, and I immediately felt at home. There were two of us there on a Saturday evening at 10:30 p.m., so I can't comment on the service during peak hours, but they were quick, recommended drinks, for example, which were really delicious (a mango frozen margarita), and were very friendly throughout. The food was very, very tasty, and everything was quite spicy, for those who like it spicy. The price is reasonable, but for a nice, delicious meal, it's very comparable to other restaurants.

A good selection of different dishes, including appetizers, tapas, main courses, and desserts. A wide selection of drinks (cocktails, soft drinks, margaritas, and non-alcoholic cocktails) is available. There's a separate menu for tequila, and even though we're not experienced, we received excellent advice and a presentation of the different varieties. We really enjoyed the tapas and they were beautifully presented. The service was excellent: attentive, unobtrusive, and we asked questions from time to time. We enjoyed the evening.

Ordered chili con carne with homemade lemonade today. Both were very good. The chili con carne was nice and spicy, as it should be. The owner is very nice. 5 stars from me.

Were here for the first time. The food was super tasty. The service was very nice, but not attentive. Would have liked to have stayed longer and had something to drink after dinner. Our drinks were empty pretty quickly and we weren't asked if we wanted anything else even when the table was cleared.

A quaint restaurant, beautifully decorated in Mexican style, as you would imagine. Nice and cozy considering the lighting conditions. It can get very loud in the back area when larger groups sit here. It is also very warm here. It's much more comfortable at the front. Attentive service that is happy to answer any questions. We don't understand the high reviews, which made us want to give it a try.... :/ The food was mediocre at best. The food did not taste fresh. The server was sick and coughing the whole time into her hands (and also kept touching her hair ) and was not washing her hands after and then serving us with these hands full of Germs. Would not recommend or come back. Very disappointing.

Cozy Mexican restaurant within walking distance of the Landungsbrücken with a large tequila menu and delicious food. Since there is no loud music, you can have a good conversation here. A reservation makes sense on the weekend!

The food is good, a little spicy for me, but for those who like it you will be surprised, the drinks are very good too.

Important(!) the rooms of “El Tequito” currently look much nicer and more comfortable than in the pictures here on Google! The food was super tasty, the two of us ordered 4 tapas (spare ribs and Quesidillia's recommendation!) + starter & drinks and were happy and full at the end. The waitresses were super nice and attentive both on the phone and on site. We would love to come back but there is no current photo of the beautiful rooms here on Google.

Highly recommended. We decided on guacamole, black beans, enchiladas, fachjitas and chicken pieces. Everything was delicious. The food tasted totally fresh and had a thousand flavors. Churros and brownie rounded off the whole thing perfectly as dessert. The service is super nice and attentive (thanks for the tequila recommendation). If we didn't have to drive 2.5 hours - El Tequito would become our regular restaurant...

The food was better than it used to be (20 years ago) and is recommended. The ambience is ok. The service was just mediocre. It could be much nicer and funnier. But overall a recommendation. I'll probably go again.

I had been planning to go again after Corona for a long time - finally implemented today and the wait was absolutely worth it!!! Special requests for food were implemented impeccably, friendly, without complaint (!!!) [even after our somewhat late request] and were even served in a new variety! # REALLY DELICIOUS: we ordered three little things from the tapas menu "Antojitos El Rey" to share - quesadilla beef, enchilada con pollo and the spare ribs - and it was ALL really good, on point and well seasoned! We are super satisfied and will definitely come back! We also think that the lavish tequila card, the sweet Valentine's Day and general decorations 😅 and the appropriate mixed calculation should be mentioned positively. We were “guests” here with my girlfriend on a rainy day in December and were, at least at the beginning, warmly greeted and served by a male waiter. We got the drinks very quickly because the shop was virtually empty - apart from us there was only one other table occupied by two people. In addition to drinks, we both ordered appetizers, a main course and dessert. The food tasted okay so far. The fries were very, very good, but the burger and the rest of the food were just average. The reason why my rating is rather bad is not because of the food, but because of the unsympathetic female waitress, who towards the end of our visit constantly looked over at us sternly, as if she obviously didn't like something, and made it more than clear to us that that we are no longer wanted here. We were still eating our dessert when she came to our table and suddenly started clearing our shared dessert plate and promptly asked how we would like to pay. We weren't asked if we wanted anything else to eat/drink or if everything tasted good so far, etc. With her super toxic and uptight manner, she ruined our evening, which initially went so well, so that we suddenly felt unwelcome. I would like to emphasize again that the store was still EMPTY and there was really no reason to “kick us out”. At no point was it possible to say “Sorry girls, but we have to charge you now because there are still hungry guests waiting in line” or something similar. Nobody told us that the tables can generally only be reserved for a certain time (e.g. 90 minutes). Nobody spoke to us during the two hours - instead we were just stared at in disgust. That was really uncomfortable for us. We then quickly paid the bill and left with a quick goodbye. Ironically, the waitress barely managed to bring herself to utter a bad-tempered “Ciao” ​​while her male colleague, who was standing right next to her, deliberately remained silent. Even 6 weeks later, I don't know what your problem was - whether we sat there too long, whether the turnover of around €60 wasn't enough for you, whether it was because my girlfriend was black - I want it too now don't know anymore. The only thing I know is that I was absolutely right not to tip you a dime. You have to earn it. ¡Hasta nunca jamás!
