We live right around the corner, so we visit this ice cream parlor very often. We've always been treated kindly and courteously. The quality of the various ice cream flavors is very good, and the portion sizes are also perfectly acceptable. We'll gladly continue to come here in the future.

Very good small but fine ice cream parlor

35 degrees Celsius. Sunny. Open until 8 p.m. Despite that, they closed an hour early today (again). Otherwise, the ice cream was mediocre, but it's conveniently located near the lake. A shame for an ice cream parlor. The salespeople were also unfriendly.

The men's toilet sink was not clean at all and disgusting!

It's the best ice cream in Freiburg, Quality in flavors and service, I recommend it 100%.... Top 🍧

Google Maps says they're open until 5:30 p.m., but at 5:10 p.m., we found the door closed. What a shame and embarrassing.

Completely annoyed by the behavior of the unfriendly seller. When I asked if I could have a second wooden spoon (more of a cheap wooden spatula), he asked for an extra €0.30. A cheap waffle also costs €0.30 extra. When paying, the gentleman was of the opinion that he could keep the change and that “it would be fine,” as he said. Basically a nice shop with “standard” ice cream that you can probably get anywhere. Unfortunately a bit disappointing. The previous shop owner and his ice cream quality, pricing, opening hours and people skills were significantly better. Too bad for the moss forest.

Delicious ice cream, large reasonable scoop sizes, friendly owner! The only thing that surprises me is the unusually short opening hours. But it's worth taking the tram and bus! Thank you that there is an honest one-maker in Freiburg who doesn't charge 1.80 euros or more for small balls! 👍

Since the ice cream parlor opened this summer, I've been there more often to buy ice cream. The owner is friendly and nice. The cup and spoon for the ice cream are made of sustainable material that protects the environment. The price is reasonable and fits the size of the ice cream. There are also many different types of ice cream.

Smoking café, not suitable for children

There is very tasty, relatively cheap ice cream here. The quantity varies slightly, if you buy in a cup you only get half. There's an environmentally friendly wooden spoon for that. Extreme attention is paid to allergens, which is great, but it also affects normal people. We want the rainbow balls back, like in the good old days! The service was very entertaining and made us smile. Unfortunately, comfortable seats are not secured. But whatever. Overall recommended.

Shakiba liked chocolate more than hazelnut, she said hazelnuss war nicht so gut.

Selten so leckeres Eis gegessen und das in wirklich guter Qualität und Menge. Kein Wunder, dass man hier Schlange stehen musste. Das kann ich nur empfehlen. Die Auswahl ist groß!

Sensationelles Eis aus eigener Herstellung

Pro: leckeres Eis, gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältniss Negativ: sehr wenig Parkplätze, direkt an der Straße, am Nachmittag überfüllt und lange Wartezeiten

Eine große Auswahl an traditionellen Eissorten. Auch besondere Sorten erweitern den Genuss. Die Qualität ist sehr gut. Die Preise sind noch normal geblieben. Kaffee und co ist auch sehr lecker. Der Aussenbereich ist gemütlich unter Laubbäumen meist im Schatten daher auch gut belegt. Parkplätze gibt's genügend. Sauberkeit und Hygiene scheinen selbstverständlich. Auch eine Toilette ist vorhanden. Hier bekommt man auch mal einen Extralöffel oder eine Extrawaffel oder zwei gratis. Anderst als in der anderen Eisklitsche in der Elsässerstr. Der Chef und die Mitarbeiter sind durchweg freundlich und aufmerksam. Also wirklich ein Platz zum verweilen und genießen zum noch normalen Preis. Toll das es Euch gibt!!! DANKE

Eis ist ok, allerdings der Preis seit diesem Jahr 1.4€ und Pistazien sogar 1.6€ wow. Die bei Kindern beliebte Regenbogenkugel (3 Sorten in einer Kugel) wurde seit dieser Saison auch gestrichen. Die Eisbecher sind nichts besonderes und den Aufpreis zu den Euskugeln nicht wert.

Sehr leckeres Eis, besonders die Dunkle Schokolade ist spitze. Große Auswahl an Bechern und besonderen Kreationen. Freundlicher Service! Sehr gut! Leider gibt es nur ganz selten freie Sitzplätze, weil die Mütter mit ihren Kindern nach dem Eisessen noch ewig sitzenbleiben und plaudern. Sei es ihnen gegönnt, aber andere möchten halt auch mal Platz nehmen zum Essen...

Das Eis ist gut, aber das T-Shirt könnte man mal wechseln. Das wäre deutlich appetitlicher.

Sehr gutes Eis und das beste ist die Regenbogenkugel - eine riesenkugel mit drei verschiedenen Sorten die man wählen kann. Leider ist je nachdem wer an der Theke ist die Größe der Kugel sehr unterschiedlich :P aber sonst nett gut und gute Auswahl.
