An all-around fantastic restaurant! The ambiance is truly beautiful and immediately invites you to feel at home. The food was absolutely outstanding: fresh, flavorful, and prepared with love. The service staff was also super friendly, attentive, and prompt. You can really tell that the work here is done with passion. I will definitely be back and can highly recommend it to everyone!

The restaurant is located right next to a highway exit, making it very easy to reach. A beautiful terrace overlooking a small lake invites you to linger. The food is typically German and very delicious. The service was also extremely friendly. All in all, highly recommended!

Good food and good value for money. Unfortunately the service was bad. The event that took place at the same time was more important. We would have liked to reorder. 4 employees at the counter, no one comes and asks. In the end we sat with our empty plates for 15 minutes. Only when I asked did someone come and ask if everything was ok. Too bad

We meet often from the Roundtable Hamburg Harburg in the Eichenhof. The atmosphere is cozy and rustic, with great attention to detail, and you feel at home. The food was on point – fresh, very tasty and the portion sizes were really sufficient. Service nice and attentive. I can especially recommend the steak – I would love to come back!

We have been regular guests at the Eichenhof for almost half a year. There is very tasty German cuisine here. The service staff are all very nice and attentive. However, an employee wearing a dark apron always looks very grim. The food is always delicious and it fills you up. No matter whether the juicy schnitzel or the roast pork with red cabbage. Everything always tasted delicious and fresh. Likewise the side dishes. The mixed salad is very fresh and tasty. The mushrooms and onions too. No matter which two side dishes you choose for your main course. Everything tastes good. The atmosphere is rather rustic, but it's very cozy there. There are enough parking spaces in front of the restaurant or on the side street. However, I generally recommend reserving a table. Of course you can go there if you're lucky. But after 6 p.m. it gets very crowded there. The background noise is a bit louder in some places. But that's complaining at a very high level. If you like delicious, good German cuisine, the Eichenhof is the right place for you.

We wanted to give the Eichenhof a try because the parking lot was usually quite full, which isn't a bad sign. Inside the wooden charm of the 60s, the service comes very quickly and is very friendly. We order currywurst with French fries and the kale plate with roasted potatoes and cabbage sausage. The currywurst is large, with plenty of homemade sauce, all in all a decent value for the price. The kale plate is a disaster. The kale is not fresh and has the consistency of pureed spinach from being reheated several times. The “roasted potatoes” are boiled potatoes that have been “roasted” in a pan with a lot of sugar, and there is also a lot of sugar in the kale puree. The cabbage sausage is OK and, in my opinion, the only part of the meal that is edible. The waitress is made aware of the poor quality, but the full price for the kale plate is still on the bill, which we pay in full. It's a shame, but that's how you get rid of new guests straight away.

The food was very good and really filling. Had a kale plate which I highly recommend. The rest of us also got our fill and were very satisfied. We then also ordered dessert, which was delicious and not too scarce (there is often very little else). I can recommend it without reservations.

Very bad, degrading treatment of our entire group of service staff/owners. Extremely unprofessional and unfriendly to us. I guess we didn't fit the mold. You felt a bit discriminated against. And yet we remained friendly and probably spent around €600 on food and drink there. At least the food tasted good. But that was it. Not in this restaurant again.

Very nice evening in the Eichenhof! Food was great! I had Jägerschnitzel and was able to choose two side dishes. The staff was very friendly!

I had lunch and it was good. What I found best, however, was that when one of the children knocked over a glass, they simply brought a new glass without hesitation and without asking. So we'd love to come back

Great place. They were very busy upon arrival and this resulted in a long wait. However, this waiting time was compensated by friendly and accommodating waiters who put up a good fight! The food was good, their prices okay and the atmosphere was cozy. Definitely worth visiting!

We found the Eichenhof by chance on the way back from Lübeck. We were pleasantly surprised by the German cuisine and the pleasant price-performance ratio. There were no complaints about the friendly staff either.

The new tenant did everything right and resisted the temptation to get “creative”: He changed almost nothing and thereby preserved the restaurant’s unique position. Here you will find home-style cooking of the best quality, from matjes to roast beef with fried potatoes to crispy fried grützwurst. Plus good wines and beers. Conclusion: A solid family business that is also busy on weekdays and also has a sunny terrace and parking spaces right in front of the door.

Leider war der Salat für 7,- Euro ohne Tomate und Wurzel , auch war der Salat dermaßen mit Dressing gefüllt das es schon enttäuschend war. Auf den Hinweis von mir kam dann nur ein lapidares Statement ja die Küche hat es vergessen. Die 7,- musste trotzdem zahlen !! Schade aber mit einem Kaffee oder ähnlich hätte es sich korrekter angefühlt.Das wäre Kundenorientierung schade für Euch — Wir kommen nicht wieder

Anyone who follows my reviews knows that I eat rump steak more often and if it is good, rate accordingly. Unfortunately, I cannot do this in this case because I cannot award 6 stars and would also have to reduce all other reviews that I have done so far. The "simple" schnitzel that my girlfriend ate was also buttery and delicious. The entire ambience was good in bourgeois and the price of the Eichenhof is hard to top. The next time we are in the area we will definitely stop there again.

We went to Eichenhof for lunch. The food is really tasty and rich. The price-performance ratio is right here. It's a nice, cozy restaurant and everything is very clean! The service staff is attentive and friendly. Nice larger rooms for family celebrations etc. are available. We are happy to recommend the restaurant and will come back!!

I was eating liver in the restaurant today. To my dismay, the liver was missing out for the second time. It's a shame. The portions are still very tasty compared to what they used to be.!!!!

I visit this restaurant mainly at lunchtime and am always impressed by the German home cooking and the varied seasonal dishes. The goose at Christmas time in particular was worth more than 5 stars for me! The possibility of reserving rooms for groups, as well as the beautiful garden with a view of the greenery, make the restaurant an ideal place for social gatherings. And as an added bonus, you can work off those calories in the gym right next door - a perfect complement after a delicious meal 😉.

Uriges Restaurant mit leckeren Essen, wobei besonders die Champion-Zwiebeln als Beilage zu empfehlen sind. Der Service ist schnell und sehr freundlich, uns wurde als ein besserer Tisch frei wurde dieser angeboten. Das Ambiente ist typisch für einen Landgasthof, daher genau passend! Parkplätze gibt es reichlich.

Wir haben einen Geburtstag gefeiert und hatten einen schönen kleinen Bereich für uns. Das Essen war sehr lecker und das Schnitzel hat sehr gut geschmeckt. Vorab gab es einen gemischten Salat und der Hausdressing passte sehr gut dazu. Ich finde es eine sehr witzige Idee, dass es eine "PAW Patrol"-Speisekarte für die Kinder gibt.

Der Eichenhof ist eigentlich immer voll, eine Reservierung empfiehlt sich daher. Es gibt gute Deutsche Küche zu zivilen Preisen. Leider hat die Küche nur bis 2030 Uhr geöffnet.

Wir waren heute hier zum Abendessen und ich muss sagen, dass es ein wunderschöner Abend mit einem super leckeren Essen war. Alle (!) Angestellten waren super nett und aufmerksam. Selbst unseren Hund haben sie unaufgefordert mit Wasser versorgt und durchgekrault. 😎 Das Essen war nicht nur lecker, sondern war auch optisch ein Hingucker. Unser Fazit: Jederzeit gerne wieder! 😊 👍

Das Lieblingsrestaurant der Oldies. Ein Renner für Rentner. Das Menü entsprechend der Klientel. Sehr sympathischer Wirt und aufmerksames Personal. Viele Parkplätze. Es empfiehlt sich mittags am Wochenende zu reservieren.

Jedes Mal, wenn wir auf der Ecke Hunger bekommen fahren wir hier her. Das Essen ist super lecker und immer frisch zubereitet - perfekt für gute Hausmannskost. Service ist immer super nett und man ist sehr bemüht. Ambiente ist eben dem Thema entsprechend rustikal, aber super angenehm.

Ein wundervoller Ort um nach einer langen Fahrt köstlich zu Essen, diese schöne Restaurant Zeug von sehr guten Essen und einen erstklassigen Service, das Preis Leistungsverhältnis ist sehr gut.

Das Essen war sehr lecker aber es gab leider keine veganen Gerichte.

Es gibt einen Mittagstisch und viele Gerichte als kleine oder große Portion.

Gutbürgerlicher Gasthof mit deutscher Küche. Essen gut und reichlich, Service sehr freundlich, Preise sind der Inflation angepasst, durchaus empfehlenswert.

Sehr schönes Restaurant! Haben dort den 81.Geburtstag meines Vaters mit 16 Personen gefeiert! Tolles Essen, Schnitzel, Bauernfrühstück, Roastbeef, etc. Alle Gäste waren zufrieden! Besonders gut gefallen hat mir, dass es es auch halbe Portionen gab. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder!

Wer auf der Suche nach leckeren Bratkartoffeln ist, ist hier genau richtig! Es gibt eine kleine Standardkarte mit norddeutschen Gerichten und zusätzlich saisonale Gerichte. Im Sommer sitzt man am besten auf der schönen Terasse am See. Die Bedienung ist immer freundlich und zuvorkommend. Klare Empfehlung im Süden von Hamburg.
