Moin Folks, hier war ich schon mal und ja es ist in die Jahre gekommen und nach wie vor, sehr gut✅ Hier hat man die Qual der Wahl und das ist geilogalaktisch; Hier die Currywurst und Bratwurst, nun auch etwas Vegan, mit Pommes Frites, Saucen und in der Tat, irgendwie Hippppp in einer hellen Räumlichkeit. Hier kann man ab und an genießen.

I come regularly, I'm always greeted very nicely and then the sausage with spicy and fries with hot sauce arrive in a jiffy, there's everything, everything is possible. Everything is super-good, and I know what I'm talking about, having lived in Berlin for a long time.

Service was great, unfortunately the store was very cold.

The food and especially the service is great, but the restaurant is far too cold... I had to put on a jacket while eating

In terms of taste, neither the sausage nor the sauce is in the top league. For over 7 euros a sausage completely without curry powder and without a roll, I say hats off to you! 95% of the snack bars in Hamburg can do this better. White bread and sausage thrown away in the next bin after 2 bites, a waste of sausage and money.

La vue extérieure du restaurant donne envie de franchir le pas de la porte. C’est ce que nous avons fais avec un groupe d’amis et nous ne l’avons pas regretté. En effet, vous y trouverez une authentique « Currywurst » accompagné de frites ou d’une salade. Un large choix de sauces maison vous est proposé. Une bonne expérience de saucisse.

At Mipa there often and the service is always courteous and friendly. The wild bratwurst is a great alternative

Unfortunately, the currywurst didn't really taste good. I've had better ones in canteens. The fries weren't that tasty either and when I order a fries special I expect the sauce to be on the fries and not on a separate plate. The ambience was okay, the store seemed very clean. The conditions were nice and cheerful.

Endlich mal wieder Currywurst mit leckeren Pommes. Freundlich wurden wir bedient und recht zügig kamen unsere Teller. Wir wählten die klassische Currywurst (fruchtig) und in pikanter Ausführung. Dazu Mayo und verschiedene Saucen. Dazu einen Krautsalat der nicht hausgemacht war und leider nicht überzeugte. Die Pommes waren lecker kross und groß aber leider ungesalzen. Bei den Currywürsten hatten wir das Gefühl, das sie gar nicht durchgegrillt waren. Bei den Saucen war kein großer Unterschied. Leider waren wir von der edlen Zubereitung etwas enttäuscht.

Rarely have I eaten such a delicious currywurst. We will definitely come back on our next visit to Hamburg.

OK... first of all, I'm from Austria :-) so not the native currywurst expert. BUT!! Close enough to Bavaria and I love currywurst, whenever I visit Germany I eat currywurst as my favorite dish. Well, whoever is still reading here is probably a fellow countryman/woman :-) The best currywurst I've ever had, after the one on Lake Chiemsee, in Girona/Spain, was from an expatriate... who runs a stall there and delivers top quality. As of today, the new number 1 is EDELCURY. Service 11 out of 10 points! Currywurst is TOP and there is also vegan and poultry! For me as a chilli lover, the hot spicy sauce is really hot, ok, not amazing but super hot. -> And on TOP, probably the best fries of my life, 14x14mm real potatoes. *TOP quality, and they know what they are doing! Bravo! 3 stars, toques or Michelin tires for this “curry stall” :-)

Food: Mixed. Sausage itself really good with an interesting selection. But everything else is rather disappointing. I ordered a sauce “with steam” and it turned out to be fruity, almost ketchup. “Normal” fries are floury, unseasoned, lukewarm and uncountable at first glance. Price/performance: outrageous (e.g. mayo for €1.30 extra, no menus or lunch). Service: Friendly, but sparse and therefore overwhelmed (you don't feel welcome, you're just another stress factor). Ambiance: French fries shop (cold, uncomfortable and extremely loud). It's a bit of a shame about the good sausage, but I probably won't come back.

Delicious currywurst and crispy fries. Plus friendly service and clean places. There is also beer, wine and other alcoholic drinks. Conclusion: A snack bar with style, clear recommendation!

the curry wurst is good but quite small, the frozen fries are very bad, mcdonald's are better..., very expensive, everything is extra (simple mayonnaise for the fries, etc), the owner is arrogant, claims that it It's the "competition" that tries to harm it, to be avoided!

too much salt, sausage with ordinary taste, the quantity of fries is too low and the fries are bad. Excessively expensive for what is offered. The sauce pays off!!!

Every time we are in Hamburg, a visit to “Edel Curry” is a must. A good sausage with fresh French fries and great sauces, which you can eat in the restaurant in a nice atmosphere. The waitresses are always friendly. Gladly again…

Great lunch here on Tuesday, March 14th. Greeted by a friendly hostess who said “ein bisschen“ when I asked “sprechen sie Englisch”… typisch German response to my question lol. The Currywurst is probably the darn closest thing to reach sausage heaven. The sauce is a sourey, garlicky, tomato mixture of wondefulness - great with home fries + a glass of “Alsterwasser”. Next time I gotta try the other wursts! Auf Wiedersehen!

Nice restaurant to eat curry sausage. Both the food was delicious and the service was very friendly and polite. We'd love to come back.

Delicious bratwurst, great fries, Gladly again

Always great when you feel like a delicious snack in the most beautiful city in the world 😃. There are also unusual sauces and types of sausage.

The currywurst was delicious, but I wouldn't say it's the best currywurst in Hamburg. The fries were nowhere near as good as they were advertised to be. There is definitely room for improvement. The waitress was friendly, but didn't speak a word of English and even refused to try. Since I was there with a friend who doesn't speak German, the whole ordering and communication process was a bit complicated. That was a shame, as you can expect English-speaking staff in the city center.

There is only one thing that is noble here. The price. It says fresh fries but they are not fresh at all from dried industrial potatoes. The currywurst was also quite average, only the curry sauce was good

Super friendly staff. Good selection of sausages and sauces. The curry sauce was fruity and exceptional. Everything hot and freshly prepared The fries were also well fried and not reheated or double fried. The coleslaw was fresh and flavorful.

Here you get currywurst served on a plate with table service. Something other than a snack bar. There are also more unusual meats here, such as ostrich or bison. We tried the wild curry sausage with fries with truffle mayo and pasta salad. Everything was fine. Unfortunately the fries could have been a little crispier. Solid performance. On my next visit I might also try out the unusual varieties. Vegetarian options are also available here.

Fries weren't cooked properly. Overall it was okay but not something you would want to go to regularly.

The recipe for the sausage and sauce (Currywurst Hamburger style) is absolutely amazing! The fries are crispy and yet light, which suggests fresh fat. So far so good. Unfortunately, the whole thing is ruined at €4.30 for fries, extra sauce and then the cheapest bucket of Maxo again, nicely diluted in tiny bowls. I recommend Hellmann or Thomy Mayo, and preferably 50ml or simply slap it onto the plate with a spoon. The mayo doesn't taste like third-rate industrial vegetable fat and sugar.

We had a currywurst hamburger style and a bison spicy as well as normal fries. The currywurst was so bland, it didn't taste like anything. Maybe I'm spoiled by "Best Wurscht in Town", but this was a big disappointment. The bison sausage was tasty, but the spicy sauce doesn't deserve its name. Boring and bland. Only the fries were really tasty.

Excellent frankfurter dishes. Try the currywurst, but be careful if you get it spicy! One of the waitresses was very rude when we were sitting at the "wrong" table and rudely told us that we had to sit somewhere else. I still give five stars because the boy served us kindly afterwards and because the food was good but be careful how you treat customers.

It's worth a visit. Good quality and nice atmosphere. Spicy coleslaw and currywurst were great. The mixed salad with French dressing was a bit bland and could use more seasoning.

Standard currywurst fries like you know them from home. It's nothing great, but hunger drives it in.

Bad-Oeynhausen, the sausage is of top Timmerberg quality and grilled on the charcoal grill. I'd actually rather go there. I haven't found anything remotely good in Hamburg for 40 years. You can probably get the best currywurst here. Aroma and consistency sing a wonderful duet to the palate. The sauce is piquantly composed. The fries are airy, crispy accompaniments. The service is good.

The lady in service was very friendly and attentive, gives 5 stars. Currywurst and fries were great and the truffle mayonnaise was great, 5 stars 🌟. Ambiance is a matter of taste and timeless. The beer was also 👍. All in all, 5 stars 🌟.

The ambience has nice. It sits well. I don't understand why this should be noble. What is interesting, however, is that you have different types of meat. Unfortunately the fries weren't good at all. Very dry and tasteless. Okay, there was salt on it but that was it. The fries could have been fried better. The sausage was classic but somehow nothing special. The sauce was delicious and I thought it was good. The special mayo was simply bland. Overall I didn't think it was worth €10.

We come here again and again to eat French fries and the sauce, everything is delicious.

I can recommend the Bison Currywurst Spicy!

We were there on Friday evening, February 16th and really enjoyed the time. When we entered the restaurant, the young, friendly waitress with dark hair greeted us straight away. She took great care of us throughout the evening, which meant we were able to enjoy the evening to the fullest. The food was also very tasty, almost too cheap for such a great menu. We will be back definitely!

I definitely wouldn't call this a "fine curry". The food tasted very mediocre. The service wasn't particularly friendly either. While I was eating, a guy just sat down at the table with me (without even asking). It seems normal here. So I can't recommend this snack bar.

The currywurst and fries were very tasty. Unfortunately the order didn't work because the waitress had technical problems. As a result, we only got fries with different sauces than what we ordered. When serving, the waitress told us that we had also ordered sausage, which was then delivered 5-10 minutes later. The truffle sauce we ordered never reached our table even though I went back to the counter to note this, but it was listed on the bill. This could no longer be taken off the bill even though it was not served. The waitress was very, very friendly, but the system still needed to be adjusted for ordering or, if necessary, optimized back to paper and pen.

The price/performance ratio for the food here in the restaurant is not right.

Das ist für uns wenn wir in Hamburg sind ein muss dieses Lokal aufzusuchen auch wenn wir etwas warten mußten um einen Platz zu bekommen. Es ist in der Mittagszeit immer voll. Die Bedienung war sehr nett und die Currywurst und die handgemachten Pommes schmeckten toll.

Für mich mit die beste Currywurst, die ich gegessen habe. Es gibt die Würste aus unterschiedlichen Fleischsorten, saisonal abhängig auch eher ausgefallenere Sachen, z.B. gab es auch mal Bison und Strauß. Auch für die Veganer ist was dabei. Dazu Pommes und eine sehr schöne Auswahl an Soßen. Mehr gibt es auf der Speisekarte glaub ich nicht und genau so ist es auch prima. Die Preise waren jetzt auch nicht teurer, als würde man in ein gutes Wirthaus gehen, von daher Preis/Leistung stimmt auf jeden Fall

Die Currywurst und die pikante Soße waren wirklich köstlich, sehr fruchtig. Die Pommes knusprig, bisschen teuer insgesamt aber sicher der Lage geschuldet. Ich kam. Den Laden empfehlen, besonders da ich eigentlich keine Currywurst mag 😃

Bis aufs Essen war alles gut. Die Bedienung war sehr nett und man musste nie lange warten. Das essen hingehen war sehr enttäuschend! Super kleine Bratwurst welche man als Currywurst betitelt und dazu auch kein Highlight war. Die Preise dazu auch sehr sportlich. Ich kann jedem nur empfehlen wie gewohnt die Currywurst beim Imbiss zu essen denn dort wird man erstens Satt von der Portion und mir schmeckt es dort 10 mal besser. Die Personen die mit mir waren teilen ähnliche Meinungen. Leider sehr enttäuschend!

Wir waren heute auf Empfehlung hier und waren sehr begeistert. Sowohl der Service als auch das Ambiente waren top! Wir haben uns sehr willkommen gefühlt und man hatte den Eindruck, dass der Kellner richtig Spaß an seiner Arbeit hat, was in meinen Augen einen guten, bleibenden Eindruck hinterlässt! Wir hatten beide die klassische Currywurst "Hamburger Art" einmal mit pikanter- und einmal mit fruchtiger Soße. Beide waren mega!!! Ich werde es definitiv weiterempfehlen und werde bestimmt nochmal wiederkommen!

Draußen Tische in der Sonne und im Schatten - ein älterer Herr wird in die Sonne geschickt, die Tische im Schatten sind für mehr Personen. Alles andere leer. Ich also rein. 2 Tische besetzt! Setze mich in die Ecke - der Kellner: Da steht ne Bank, dort bedienen wir nicht, wir sind nur zu zweit. Wohlgemerkt - 3 Meter Abstand. Ok, ich also in die andere Ecke. Kellnerin: Ich will sie ja nicht verscheuchen, aber da ist reserviert. Ich zeige auf das Schild - 45 Minuten her. Sie dreht das Schild um - 3 Personen. Ich bin aufgestanden und habe ihr einen wundervollen Tag gewünscht. Jeder MITROPA-Mitarbeiter wäre blass vor Neid geworden
