It's great that you can get on and off easily. Food is also guaranteed around the clock.

I mean, food is McDonald's. I didn't have any issues with it, it was good, but we all know how this can vary 😅 You DO have to download the McDonalds app for Germany, make an account (type a random fake phone number, it thankfully doesn't matter, just email is enough) and only then can you order. Was a bit annoying, but honestly I probably still prefer that than speaking through an intercom like cars do.

A drive-thru on the water at this McDonald's in Hamburg boasts a floating order point, perfect for boats, SUPs, or kayaks. So unusual, in fact, that it's been hailed as the world's coolest location.

I think this offer is so great. It's something totally different, and renting a boat is a fantastic experience. I can recommend it to anyone who's up for something like this; it's simply fantastic. The service is good, the food is great, and the atmosphere is fantastic. Hence 5/5 stars :) Keep it up!

Great experience! Something completely different. We rented a canoe from the canoe rental at the fire station and drove there. It took about 20 minutes. Ordering via the app worked great, everything was perfect. We'd love to go again :)

Great idea... unfortunately the trash can was overflowing and the delivery service was closed. Burgers were only lukewarm and fries only lukewarm...

what a horrible idea, the city shouldn't allow this!! degrade the image of the rowing as a sport. Take your slimy fats somewhere else.

The only one of its kind, for warm summer days on the boat and then just to McDonald's for an ice cream. On nice summer days there can be longer waiting times because the pier is not designed for so many boats.

Super great experience, unique in the whole world, orders can be brought to the water or picked up via the app. Expect a patient and completely normal waiting time.

McDonald’s has over 50k restaurants across the globe, but only one of them has a float-thru option. It’s a drive-thru for watercrafts. The McDonald’s is located on the Elbe River in Hamburg, Germany and is has a dock to pull up next to and place their order. The dock used to have a classic microphone and speaker system, but people order from their phones nowadays. Just place your order, and it's brought out to you by the staff. The location is open 24/7 during the spring and summer – but closes for the colder months, because less people take to the water. In addition to standbys like the Big Mac, this location offers unusual fare exclusive to McDonald’s Germany, notably a double-stacked Filet-o-Fish and a thousand-calorie, avocado-smeared horror called the Signature Surf’n’Turf.

Removed the speaker/mic ordering station, must order on the app. Doesn’t feel right, otherwise, it’s a pretty cool idea!

McBoat is great - you can't find it anywhere else. I recommend a trip there by boat through Hamburg's city center.

Worst ever, did order online. Almost two full hours later my order was canceled WITHOUT any reason why. No phone call,nothing. Almost every order from this Mc always ends up with missing thing's. And also,i might get fully refunded, but its also chance i get only half. Funny, what a joke.

Wir konnten das einmalige Erlebnis leider nicht wahrnehmen, da hier absolut in der Nähe kein Bootsverleih oder ähnliches zu mieten gibt. Auch die McDonalds Mitarbeiter konnten uns nicht weiter helfen. Finde es ziemlich schade, weil wir einmalig in Hamburg waren und das unbedingt erleben wollten....

Die Idee ist sehr gut, leider wurde das Essen nicht geliefert, wie versprochen.

Am Steg über die McDonalds-App bestellt. An “Parkplatz 1” liefern lassen. Hat wunderbar geklappt. Keine 10min später war das Essen am Steg und wir konnten bei wunderbarem Wetter Burger und Fritten essen … ein cooles Erlebnis, speziell für die Kids

Eine Bestellung wurde vergessen und es musste extra nachgehakt werden wo sie bleibt. Als Entschuldigung gab es ein Eis das aber nicht vegan war.

Steg abends nicht beleuchtet, Bürger auch nicht so der Hit....

Man kann leider nicht mehr direkt am Steg bestellen wie beim normalen Drive thru, sondern muss das ganze in der App erledigen, was ich recht schade finde. Ansonsten ist es auf jeden Fall eine absolute Seltenheit und dort unten auf dem Steg zu essen ist auch ganz schön

Tolle Idee und gute Umsetzung. Bestellung via App, dabei Parkplatz 1 auswählen und es wird direkt an den Steg geliefert. Super für unterwegs aufm Wasser!

Bitte versucht gar nicht erst, ohne App zu bestellen, das gibt nur Chaos. Bestellt *mit* App. Mein guter Rat. (Das gilt auch für Stegbestellungen)

Einmalig in Deutschland , sauberer Anleger und einfach eine geniale Idee! Schade nur das der Fleet wenig einladent aussieht , ....

Klasse Möglichkeit. Per App bestellt und das Essen wird direkt zum Steg geliefert.

Nette Anlegestelle inkl. Lieferservice ans Wasser. Auch die Bestellung per App hat bestens geklappt. Nur das für die Bezahlung eine Kreditkarte hinterlegt werden musste war doof.

Die Idee ist super aber die App noch nicht so weit. Der Anleger ließ sich nicht zur Abholung auswählen. Wir sind dann rein und haben uns aufgewärmt.

Witzige Idee. Man kann per App bestellen, dann wird das Essen an den Steg gebracht. Bitte jedoch nicht ewig hier anlegen, wenn auch noch andere zu McBoat wollen. Mussten hier eine Stunde warten (in der Nähe ankern), weil ein anderes Boot über 90 Minuten blieb (Besitzer hatten noch beim benachbarten Supermarkt eingekauft...)

Per App bestellbar. Essen wird zum Steg gebracht.
