Eat Time Porz-Wahn in Köln

Endlich wieder eine anspruchsvolle Adresse für gutes, gesundes Essen neben diesen ganzen "Teig"geschichten, italienischen Restaurants etc. Nette und sich kümmernde Bedienung, die menschlich im Kontakt war. Ein tröstender Ersatz für das ehemalige Café Stanton an ungefähr dem gleichen Standort, das ich seeeehr ! vermisse. Und jetzt bemerke ich, dass es schon wieder geschlossen hat :( ??? Und an dieser Stelle das X-te italienische Restaurant :/ ??? Sehr bedauerlich . . . und leider ein Zeichen für das hauptsächliche Niveau in Köln.

Eckstein's is a typical local hangout, 'Veedelskneipe', that upgraded their kitchens while back. Don't expect fine dining, but the food is great, the menu is small but interesting and seasonal. It has become my wife's favorite in the neighborhood because she loves the veal Schnitzel. Their panade has a twist and is different from the usual Vienna Schnitzel. Tapas plate is great and never a miss. Thus far we have not been disappointed and will return during our Cologne trips.

We've been there several times with larger groups and everything went well. The food is delicious and there is also a good selection for vegetarians and vegans, would like more of it - it was so well received by the group 😍🌱

The visit was overall good. Food was delicious and arrived very quickly. We would have liked to eat dessert and drink another beer, but this wasn't possible despite calling several times, which we found very unfortunate. The waitress was too busy with her cell phone and that made the visit a negative experience. Maybe a little more attention should be paid to it.
