Very warm and friendly service. The food, chicken skewers and stuffed peppers, were extremely tasty. All in all, a highly recommended restaurant. I'd be happy to go back!

Unfortunately I have to correct my review from 2 years ago. This evening we were at Duhok for the second time. The food was okay, definitely better prepared and tastier two years ago. The worst part of our visit, however, was when it came to paying. Our waitress came to our table and said €65...I was quite surprised because he didn't bring a bill and the amount seemed strange to me too. Completely lost in thought, I then gave him €67. After he left, I looked at the menu and added up our food and drinks and came to €45.60. I then asked for the bill and it was almost identical to my bill. Since I had already paid, I left it at that... However, we will not be coming here again and would like to warn against this scam. _____________________________________________ Definitely worth a visit. The two of us were able to get a table spontaneously. There is sufficient parking space 100 m from the restaurant following the street. It is also well signposted. Very nice atmosphere in the restaurant and very nice service. We ordered the starter plate and a mixed platter. All dishes come with homemade, warm bread. Very large portions and very fresh and tasty food. Everything we tried was very well seasoned and tasted very good. The prices are a little more expensive than you are used to, but the quality and size of the food make up for it.

Top restaurant, delicious food and super friendly staff.

The staff is very friendly and accommodating, with 3 waitresses and 4 occupied tables that should work. There is a ventilation system in the guest room, which creates a draft and it is very cold, so I had to put on my winter jacket. I ordered calamari and it wasn't cooked through, which was a shame. Overall, given the price, it doesn't really fit.

We had the platter for 2, which was very tasty, there were all kinds of meat on the menu, such as lamb, chicken, minced meat skewer... you could also have fries or another side dish instead of bulgur! My husband and I are really good eaters but we were really full afterwards, which is a good thing! The boss and the service were very friendly, you immediately felt welcome! We will come again!

We must have had a very bad evening, otherwise I can't explain the other reviews. Some of the food was not edible and we don't have such high standards. The absolute low point was a cooked ladybug in the spinach, after which the appetite was gone... The bread was really tasty and the only thing that filled us up to some extent, but you don't go to a restaurant just to eat bread. The service was understanding and courteous, but unfortunately it didn't make the whole experience any better. Ambience only gets one point, because the interior of the restaurant does not correspond to the pictures on Google in any way: it is a completely normal German restaurant...

We already know the landlord from the Duhok restaurant on Augsburger Straße. The staff is always very friendly and the food is always excellent. Nothing has changed after the move to Theodor-Heuss-Platz. Still really good and that's why we like to come back again and again.

We visited Duhok for the first time yesterday with a group of eight people. We were completely satisfied and will definitely come back. The food was excellent, the portion sizes were more than generous and the quality of the food gave you a rustic feeling. Authentic cuisine at fair prices, with very friendly and attentive staff. Regardless of whether you are a meat lover or a vegetarian, everyone will find a dish to their taste here. Absolutely recommended and delicious. Thanks for the great evening.

Finally a Kurdish grill restaurant... It was delicious... Fresh and simply delicious... Special requests no problem... Great service... Restaurant a bit hidden and furnishings more like a Bavarian tavern....

We ended up in Duhok today by chance and I have to say, we didn't regret spontaneously choosing this restaurant. We had calamari from the grill and the kebab plate. Both were super tasty, including the flatbread. The staff was super friendly and accommodating and after the meal there was a schnapps on the house, which is not a given and made us very happy. Next time I definitely want to try the Kurdish dishes. I've already got a few things in mind. Since we live nearby, I'm happy that our neighborhood has been enriched with a new, great restaurant. We will be coming more often now and are looking forward to the delicious food.

I recently went to this restaurant and tried Kurdish food. The food was generally ok, but there were a few surprises. The kebab plate came with a mushroom cream sauce, which was an interesting variation, but instead of the usual fries there was some kind of potato wedges, which didn't quite meet my expectations. It was a little unusual, but still okay. Unfortunately the ambience was a disappointment. The decoration didn't fit the theme of the restaurant at all. Instead of a cozy, Kurdish atmosphere, there were photos of Split, a port in Italy, and sailing boats. This had absolutely nothing to do with the food and left the impression of an inappropriate decor. Therefore only one star for the ambience. However, the service was excellent. The host was really great, attentive and friendly. You could immediately tell that he places great value on the well-being of his guests. This definitely improved the experience and was a definite plus. Unfortunately I have to deduct a star due to a nasty surprise in the hotel toilet after dinner. It just wasn't pleasant and unfortunately spoiled my visit a bit. In summary: Good food, fantastic service, but the ambience and aftermath could definitely be improved.

We were very surprised at how good the food is. The meat was very tender and the sauces were tasty. Bread was plentiful, as the portions were plentiful. Everyone at the table was happy. The service was extremely courteous and very friendly. There was also a schnapps on the house at the end. This restaurant is highly recommended!

Today we were guests at Ahmed's DUHOK Grill Restaurant in Regensburg. We really enjoyed the great hospitality and the very accommodating, friendly atmosphere. The rump steak with salad, fries and herb butter was excellent. We'll be back!

We have visited the restaurant twice since it reopened. The food is very good, the portions are reasonably large and the price is fair. There is enough bread. We'd love to come back!

We wanted to celebrate my wife's birthday and made an appointment via email for Saturday March 2nd at 5 p.m. Where we also got confirmation. When we got there after the 40 km long journey, we were faced with a closed door. The sign said "closed for renovation" something like that doesn't work at all. What a shame!

An excellent restaurant and the only true delivery service in Regensburg. We don't order anywhere else anymore. The food has already cured us of some bad party consequences. Without Duhok, our lives would be dull, boring and uneventful. Many many thanks! Wir waren zu dritt dort und zwei von uns haben gegessen. Es war ein sehr netter Abend. Parkplätze sind ein kleines Stück entfernt, aber das macht nichts. Service war sehr freundlich und das Essen hat gut geschmeckt. Hatten zusammen den Vorspeisenteller (man bekommt ganz tolles Brot dazu), einmal Duhok und einmal Schilan. Wir gehen gerne wieder hin

I was there many times and tried different Kurdish foods and all of them were amazing. The staff were very nice and friendly, also, you can enjoy the Kurdish music. I highly recommend it.

Das Essen hier ist sehr gut und frisch. Das Fleisch, vor allem, die Hackfleischspiesse sind sehr köstlich. Es gab dazu sehr gutes frisches Grillgemüse. Das Brot was hier mit dazugereicht wird ist sehr gut und frisch. Auf der Speisekarte steht eine große Auswahl an Speisen und Getränken. Es gibt Vorspeisen, Gyros, Steaks, kurdische Spezialitäten vom Lavasteingrill und vieles mehr.. Das Lokal liegt direkt an der Autobahnauffahrt und hat einen kleinen Parkplatz. Bisschen versteckt hinter einer Mauer ist ein gemütlicher gepflasterter Biergarten. Vom Strassenverkehr bekommt man nicht viel mit. Das Lokal innen ist gemütlich eingerichtet und sehr gepflegt und sauber. Das Personal ist super nett und aufmerksam. Die Preise sind etwas gehoben bei sehr guter Qualität, also völlig in Ordnung. Ich kann das Lokal nur weiter empfehlen. Tolles Ambiente und super gutes Essen !

Wir staunten nicht schlecht als unsere Gerichte serviert wurden, es sah richtig nice aus. Vorallem das riesige Fladenbrot war unser Highlight (wie man am Foto unten sehen kann). Das Essen war richtig lecker und die Mitarbeiter sind sehr nett. Der Gastgarten ist groß und man hat viel Platz. Was noch toll war, das waren die gemütlichen Loungeplätze 🙂 Also dieses Restaurant ist auf definitiv weiterzuempfehlen! - verdiente 5 Sterne ⭐

Bin absolut begeistert heute gewesen! Wow war das verdammt lecker. Mein Mann hatte den Vorspeisenteller. Alles auf den Teller war geschmacklich ein Genuss und meine gefüllten Auberginen mit Hackfleisch und Käse überbacken sowieso! Alles sehr toll gewürzt. Alleine in das selbstgebackene leckere Brot hätte man sich reinlegen können. Besser geht wirklich nicht, hatte nur geschwärmt. Wir waren in letzter Zeit oft woanders essen, aber sind leider öfters enttäuscht gewesen...Wenn ich mir die Zeit nehme eine Bewertung gleich noch unmittelbar im Anschluss zu schreiben, dann heißt das glaube ich schon was. Zudem fand ich auch den Chef sehr freundlich und angenehm. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder!

Das beste kurdische Restaurant in Regensburg. Freundliches Personal, gutes Essen, sehr gute Pita, große Portionen und im Restaurant gemütlich eingerichtet. Wir kommen häufiger.

Abgesehen davon, dass das Essen fantastisch war, möchte ich hier besonders die Kinderfreundlichkeit hervorheben. Jeder, ob Chef, Bedienung oder Küchenkraft, war sehr liebevoll zu unserer dreijährigen Tochter, es wurde Spielzeug gebraucht, man hat sie selbst bestellen lassen (war für sie sehr wichtig!) und immer wieder Kontakt aufgenommen. So schön war essen gehen mit Kind selten! Auch essen, Service und Umgebung haben mehr als überzeugt. Klare Empfehlung!

Leider weis ich nicht wie oder wo ich mit meiner Rezension anfangen soll. Vielleicht mit dem herzlichen und super freundlichen Personal? Oder etwa mit dem schönen Ambiente? Oder vielleicht mit dem super leckeren Essen? Ich weis es nicht, deswegen lasse ich meine Rezension so stehen und schreibe nur das ich sehr gerne wieder ins Duhok zum essen gehen werde sollte es mich wiedereinmal in die Nähe verschlagen. 5 Sterne.

Wir waren wegen einer Veranstaltung in Regensburg und sind durch die Suche nach Restaurants in der Nähe des Veranstaltungs- ortes auf das DUHOK gekommen. Kurz Kontakt aufgenommen, Tisch reserviert und dann megaleckeres Essen bekommen. Zum Glück wurde unsere Vorspeise vergessen, denn die Portionen waren so groß, mit Vorspeise hätte es uns zerrissen. Vielen Dank für das leckere Essen und falls wir mal wieder in Regensburg sind, kommen wir gerne wieder vorbei. Alles Gute für Euch.

Wir haben heute einen wunderschönen Abend im DUHOK verbracht und sind restlos begeistert. Die Speisen war hervorragend und reichlich, das Personal äußerst freundlich und engagiert. Das zum Essen gereichte Brot wurde nicht auf die Rechnung gesetzt. Noch in keinem anderen Restaurant habe ich - von der Köchin bis zu den Bedienungen - eine solche herzliche Kinderfreundlichkeit erlebt. Zum Abschluss gab es für die Erwachsenen Schnaps bzw. Tee und für die Kleine ein Eis mit Smarties. Wir werden ohne Frage wiederkommen. Danke für die schönen Stunden!

Sind heute am 22.12 2019 mit 6 Personen hier im Duhok sehr lecker essen gewesen! Uns hatte es allen sehr gut gefallen. Richtig gute orientalische Küche . Hier bedient der Chef noch selber , sehr sympathisch ! Wir können es nur weiterempfehlen. Wir kommen wieder ! MfG.Beier
