My favorite restaurant or my favorite bar in Düsseldorf. It is simply beautiful, whether in summer or winter. It's the only place in Düsseldorf where I really feel comfortable and can sit comfortably.

Wir hatten einen Tisch für 4 Personen um 19:30 Uhr am Fenster reserviert und diesen auch erhalten. Leider zog ein extrem kalter Wind durch die Fenster (Januar), sodass wir uns umsetzen mussten. Ein Tipp für den Winter: Plätze am Fenster vermeiden, da es dort sehr ungemütlich werden kann. Die Wartezeit für die Hauptspeisen war mit über einer Stunde (Ankunft um 19:30 Uhr, Hauptgang um 21:32 Uhr) deutlich zu lang. Zum Vergleich: Der Tisch neben uns, der zeitgleich eingetroffen war, hatte zu diesem Zeitpunkt bereits das Dessert beendet. Zwischen den Vorspeisen und den Hauptgängen lagen 65 Minuten, was definitiv zu viel ist. **Vorspeisen:** - Der Salat war frisch und lecker. - Das Tartar war geschmacklich gut, allerdings waren die Fleischstücke etwas zu grob geschnitten. Kapern, Silberzwiebeln und Toast fehlten. Stattdessen wurde ein kleines Brioche serviert. Auf Nachfrage wurde Toast nachgereicht. **Hauptspeisen:** - Der Octopus war so zäh, dass er nicht essbar war. Dies wurde anerkannt, und das Gericht wurde freundlicherweise nicht berechnet. - Das Hähnchen war geschmacklich gut, aber etwas trocken. - Das Fleisch war in Ordnung, jedoch über den gewünschten Garpunkt hinaus zubereitet. - Die Bohnen, die als „gebackene Bohnen“ auf der Karte standen, waren in fettigem Teigmantel frittiert. Dies war weder ersichtlich noch genießbar. Beide Portionen blieben unangetastet, wurden aber dennoch berechnet. - Das Trüffelpüree war geschmacklich akzeptabel, jedoch zu lange unter der Wärmelampe gestanden. - Der Spinat wurde stark übersalzen und kam erst gegen Ende der Mahlzeit an den Tisch. - Die Pommes waren gut. Die Beilagen wurden zudem vertauscht, was die Wartezeit zusätzlich verlängerte. **Service:** Der junge Kellner war sehr freundlich und bemühte sich, die Situation zu entschärfen. Der nicht essbare Octopus wurde von der Rechnung gestrichen, und wir erhielten als Entschädigung ein Glas Weißwein. Vielen Dank dafür. Allerdings wurden die unangetasteten Bohnen und der übersalzene Spinat dennoch berechnet. Auf das Dessert haben wir letztlich verzichtet. **Fazit:** Dies war unser dritter Besuch im Hyatt und im DOX. Das Ambiente ist nach wie vor sehr angenehm, aber die Qualität der Speisen entspricht leider nicht dem Niveau, das man bei einem Restaurant dieser Klasse erwarten darf. Die Endrechnung, nach Abzug des Octopus, belief sich auf 360 Euro – für diese Leistung ein unzureichendes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis.

Terrible! They charged us 13.95 euros for a bottle of water! 55 euros in water. Unreal! I gave them 1 star because there’s no option for 0 star! Absolutely insulting!

Das Dox-Restaurant punktete zunächst einerseits durch seine elegante Atmosphäre und andererseits durch den sehr freundlichen und aufmerksamen Service. Das Preisniveau ist zwar sehr hoch, jedoch stimmte die Qualität der von uns gewählten Speisen. Besonders angenehm ist der sogenannte „family-style“, der das problemlose Teilen der Vorspeise ermöglichte. Grandios war das „Steak au poivre“ mit den frei wählbaren Beilagen. Hier besonders zu empfehlen gebackene Zwiebelringe sowie geräucherte Pommes frites und Sauce Bearnaise.

Dear Hyatt team, We celebrated New Year's Eve in the bar with six people. It was one of the best New Year's Eves we've had in a long time. In a beautiful ambience. Your DJ deserves special mention, as he created a great atmosphere throughout the evening with his classy, ​​great sound. Guests told us that he always plays on the weekends, we will visit you more often in the future.

The restaurant doesn't quite live up to expectations given the prices quoted. The dishes are well crafted. However, the portion size is manageable and you can/have to put together the side dishes. If you have a good appetite, the total price for dinner adds up to a considerable sum. Service was friendly but overall inattentive, with often long waits. In summary, the overall experience, including the price/performance ratio, was nothing but satisfactory.

I don’t know what the management is thinking, but this bar definitely needs improvement in staff training or hiring new employees. In places like a hotel with such a name, service should never be compromised. First of all, waiting for the menu, then placing an order, which took 40 minutes. They didn’t bring any snacks either. Moreover, when I asked for water with my cocktails, which is a standard practice in a good bar that cares about its guests, I was asked, “For drinking?” The atmosphere is amazing, beautiful, a classic bar with very pleasant and polite guests. However, cocktails priced at €17-20 are not worth the money because of the service.

Oh this place is simply underrated. This is easily a Michelin 1 star place and service is truly extraordinary. Attentive and multilingual our server Sinja helped us with the appetizers and main course and recommended deserts 🏜. Overall superb service and location.

Very friendly staff who went out of their way to help over two terrible club sandwiches with truffle fries. The food was a disaster: first of all, old bread, bone hard, then a club sandwich with cheap toast, barely toasted with weak fries, plus an aqua panna for EUR 13. Simply ridiculous to reserve something like that in a top hotel.

I have been regularly visiting the restaurant and bar at the Hyatt Regency Düsseldorf for 3 years and have always been satisfied. On September 14th However, I was turned away by three bouncers because I was apparently dressed too casually (chino, knitted sweater and clean sneakers). One of the bouncers also made an extremely disrespectful remark (“There are really hot babes here today”). As a long-time guest, this was shocking and inappropriate. My complaint at reception was not taken seriously and security even insulted me as I was leaving. Such behavior is unacceptable for a hotel of this class.

Rating refers to the bar. Ambiance (great as in the restaurant), burger for €24 without fries good but not a real highlight. On several visits to the bar, we experienced service as rather subpar (it took forever until we could order, the wrong food was brought, and the wine glass was dirty).

Als Mitglieder des Hyatt Gourmet Clubs waren wir zu viert im Restaurant. Das Konzept des Clubs: Man zahlt einen Jahresbeitrag, das zweite (preiswertere) Essen ist dann kostenlos. Jedes Paar hatte eine eigene Club-Karte, aber beim Bezahlen wurden wir dann darauf hingewiesen, dass irgendwo in den Geschäftsbedingungen steht, dass pro Tisch nur eine Karte akzeptiert wird, das zweite Paar also auch als Club-Mitglied normal bezahlen muss. Hätten wir also zwei Buchungen für zwei benachbarte Tische getätigt, hätten wir jeder unsere Karte nutzen können. Diese Logik muss man erst mal verstehen. Professionell wäre es gewesen, zumindest einen Drink oder einen Espresso aufs Haus anzubieten, um diese kuriose Situation beim Bezahlen zu entspannen, aber auch da kam nichts. So verprellt man Stammgäste. Essen und Service waren gut, die Bedienung sehr aufmerksam, das Ambiente klasse, die Preise leicht überteuert. Der Espresso Martini, der im Weinglas serviert wurde, hat den Abend „abgerundet“ .

Please all employees in the cloakroom resign. It can't be the case that personal belongings get lost in the cloakroom of the restaurant of a 5* hotel. That doesn't work at all. If it were possible, I would have given 0 stars. This shouldn't happen in a restaurant in a Hyatt hotel.!!!!

The bartender has no idea what he's doing. We ordered Dry Martini cocktails and received Dirty Martini. When I complained about it, the bartender was adamant that they were dry martinis. However, the drink was clearly colored by olive water and tasted like it. I then have to explain to him how to make a dry martini. Despite the explanation, we simply received two Martini Bianco. A completely different drink twice, even though you can see the bartender reading the recipes on his cell phone at the bar. When four very smart and wealthy dressed guests came into the bar, the waitress immediately waved them off. They closed earlier today at 10 p.m. because there weren't enough guests. At the time it was 9:30 p.m. and there were about 10 people in the bar. The bar is actually supposed to be open until 12:00 a.m. A Hyatt in Singapore, for example, would never dare to treat people so badly, but in Düsseldorf it seems to be normal. In any case, our complaint was unimpressed at the reception. Due to the bad impression, we didn't book two nights at the Hyatt Düsseldorf. Part of the five-star hotel experience is, above all, trained and impeccable treatment of guests.

I don't know about you, but I love beautiful places. No matter whether privately, for my creative flow or professionally. And I can say one thing. This place is one of my favorites. No matter whether you are traveling alone or have meetings. I think there is something for everyone. Provided you love good service, food and a pleasant atmosphere that inspires you. To the interior: I love the interior decor. Something that definitely appeals to my senses. Conclusion: After a visit here I feel inspired and recharged. That's why it's definitely a heartfelt recommendation!

Great hotel! Stayed in a suite.. the restaurant and bar are really nice. Food is great! Drinks are great! Service, not so great.. but don’t get me wrong, they are waaaayyyyy under staffed! Come on! Do better.

We had certain expectations of professionalism, which was reflected in the external appearance of the Dox restaurant under the Hyatt Hotel. Unfortunately, these expectations were not met. Even when placing the order, the service was unsure about exactly what was being offered. When the drinks arrived we were only given two glasses to go along with two small Coke bottles and a large water bottle. When we asked how you imagine pouring the cola or water into the glass, the service seemed surprised. Only then did we get two more glasses (nice). The menus were only cleared after request so that the food could be placed on the table (25 minutes approx.). Service seemed overwhelmed throughout the entire visit. The service management tried, but it was only “always trying”. This continued until the food was served. After the food finally arrived, the cutlery was forgotten. We only received the cutlery we needed when we asked and the fries were completely forgotten. Conclusion: If you visit a restaurant in this category, you don't want to have to spend 90% of your time dealing with the service. The minimum should be met to make the stay pleasant. Overall, our visit to Dox was very disappointing and stressful.

We dined there last night and we really liked everything, the ambience, the very creative food and the attentive service. We had a wonderful place with a view and had two great hours there.

The experience at this restaurant was simply impressive. The food was exceptionally delicious. The service was excellent. The waiter named Peter could simply read your mind. He arranged a nice table for us in a relaxed atmosphere and served us entertainingly all evening. We felt very comfortable. I would like to thank you very much for a lovely evening. I will gladly come again.

It's an upscale restaurant, but the price is actually worth it. The food is very good. Only the service leaves something to be desired. You can sometimes tell that they want to provide superior service. However, not all of the starters arrived. What they didn't realize until several minutes later when we talked about it. And the order was looked at again. And on the other hand, the invoice had to be ordered twice. It has to be said that at the time we were there there really wasn't much going on in the restaurant and there were a lot of waiters and waitresses around.

Sadly the food was not tasty. My soup was too liquid and with too much oil . The main food was very little and also missing some condiment on it . The potato had a burnt taste. They didn’t have any sweet wine . The water was good .The place is chic and beautiful, but nothing more than that . The food is quite overpriced .

We visited Dox for lunch. It is nicely located at the media Harbour with view to the river and it has a nice modern ambience. The team was really polite but not very attentive. They seemed to be busy with preparing the restaurant for dinner and that took their attention from the guests. We were there right after they opened for lunch so that was a surprise to us. Also the kitchen was really slow. There were maybe 5 other guests, but our food took more than 40min to be served. The food though was excellent. I can’t remember to have eaten better in Düsseldorf, and I have been to almost all the restaurants in the area of media harbor.

Good Friday 2024 was nice and quiet. A comfortable seat for two was still free by the window. The burger was hot and tasted good. The cappuccino was also hot. Points were registered on World of Hyatt towards the billing amount. The view is nice, but not outstanding. Staff is nice.

On the occasion of my niece's big birthday, we had dinner at the DOX Restaurant at the Hyatt Regency. The ambience is wonderful with a view of the harbor and the interior is convincing across the board, as it is a very successful mix of “exclusive and not too stuffy”. The food was fantastic - I ordered the seasonal menu - everything tasted extremely good, was of the best quality and also very attractively prepared - compliments to the kitchen! My special thanks also go to the professional and hospitable service staff - everyone is very attentive and concerned about making the guests feel comfortable. Almuntha and Alessandro, as well as our female waitress (whose name I unfortunately don't know), were very competent, confident and extremely friendly and attentive. Thanks to the entire team for an unforgettable evening. We'll definitely be back!

Würde das Restaurant nicht empfehlen - haben vorab reserviert, und wurden im Restaurant mehrfach befragt, ob wir nicht die Jochen Schweizer Buchung getätigt haben oder Hyatt Mitarbeiter sind, und durften uns währenddessen nicht setzen, obwohl das Restaurant leer war??? (Nein, nur normale gut zahlende Kunden, die vorher reserviert haben)

We stay at the hyatt hotel at least once a year. It's part of eating at dox and spending and enjoying a wonderful and cozy evening. Food and service simply great. Some would say it's a high price...but it's absolutely justified!!

We have been members of the Gourmet Club for many years. Likewise friends of ours. Now the Schildbürger prank. If we want to spend a nice evening together, only one couple can use the gourmet menu. The other couple has to pay in full. However, if we sit at two different tables, everyone can use the gourmet menu. Whoever thought that up?

Mit 15 Freunden am Sonntag eine Hochzeit gefeiert, vom Empfang bis zur Verabschiedung war es sehr gut. Das Essen war sehr gut, die verschiedenen Vorspeisen und Hauptgänge perfekt zubereitet und sehr schön präsentiert. Die Desserts rundeten das Menü sehr lecker ab! Preis-Leistung incl Service top!

Good food, nice service, a tad overpriced. The wild mushroom side dish was just a few standard mushrooms and a few stick mushrooms (or similar), which were undoubtedly very tasty, but really couldn't be offered for the price. Even at Hyatt :(

Wunderschönes Ambiente, vor allem die offene Showküche sticht heraus. Unser Essen war hervorragend, geschmacklich sehr hoch anzusiedeln.

Höchste Dichte an Entenschnäbeln in Düsseldorf.

Es war früher besser. Wir waren vor Jahren ein paarmal zu besonderen Gelegenheiten dort und fanden das Essen fanrastisch. Jetzt fand ich es nur noch gut und dafür zu teuer. Chatesubriand für zwei Personen 105€ und dann sehr, sehr scharf angebraten. Hab echt überlegt, ob ich was sagen soll. Creme Brülee lecker, kam aber nicht richtig zur Geltung, durch das Häubchen aus sehr dominatem Cassis-Sorbet und weiteren Klecksen und Schäumchen. Der Service war sehr nett aber wohl überfordert. Haben uns ganz oft übersehen. Mussten selbst um ein weiteres Glas Wein und die Dessertkarte bitten. Alles in allem schön aber eben auch sehr teuer.

Leider recht teuer und ohne viele erfahrene Servicekräfte Man hat den Eindruck es arbeiten hier zu 90% junge Leute bis 20 Jahren. Wo sind die erfahrenen Kräfte, die bereits wissen wie man gut „bedient“? Das wäre schon sympathisch, da die Bar und das Restaurant sehr teuer sind.

Grundsätzlich freue ich mich, wenn Hotels versuchen, etwas aus ihrem Restaurant zu machen - so auch hier: Man hat Geld in die Hand genommen und in eine schöne Ausstattung investiert, die dem Restaurant wirklich ein besonderes Ambiente verleit. Das zieht Gäste an, die sich einen schönen Abend gönnen möchten (z.B. beim Rendez-Vous, meistens Paare). Nicht dazu passt die eher mittelmäßige Qualität der Speisen. Im Ergebnis: Ambiente 5 Sterne, Essen eher 1-2. Da es beim Restaurant aber um das Essen geht, bleiben 2 in der Gesamtwertung.

Mein Lieblingsrestaurant in Düsseldorf! Tolles Essen, toller Service und ein tolles Ambiente, vor allem Abends. Es ist hochpreisiger also vor allem zu besonderen Anlässen zu Empfehlen!

Waren Heiligabend zum Weihnachtmenü dort. Einfach klasse!!!!

Es gehörte über Jahre schon zur Tradition am zweiten Weihnachtsfeiertag hier am Brunch teilzunehmen. Dann kam CoViD, dann hatten wir mal nicht rechtzeitig reserviert… Kurzum: es ist etwas Zeit seit unserem letzten Besuch vergangen. Leider hat sich einiges geändert - nichts jedoch zum Guten. Das Personal ist zwar prinzipiell freundlich jedoch völlig chaotisch, unzuverlässig und wenig verbindlich. Darüber können wir jedoch gut hinwegsehen. Fast schon tragisch ist jedoch der drastische Qualitätsverlust des kulinarischen Angebots. Hier kann und will ich gar nicht ins Detail gehen. Den handelnden Personen wird es ohnehin bewusst sein. Waren die Vielfalt, die Qualität und die Darbietung früher ein echtes Highlight, auf das man sich schon im Vorfeld freute, ist davon nichts und gar nichts mehr übrig geblieben. Zudem liegt auch keine Weihnachtsatmosphäre mehr in der Luft. Den Niedergang sieht man auch beim Publikum (was für uns allerdings kein Kriterium darstellt). Selbst der Nikolaus stattete keinen Besuch mehr ab. Fazit: kein Flair, keine Klasse, schwacher Service, enttäuschende Speisen in kleiner Auswahl und dichtem Gedränge. Wir werden nicht wiederkehren.

Die hervorragende Bedienung von Maja hat meinen Aufenthalt wirklich bereichert. Ihre Professionalität, Freundlichkeit und schnelle Bedienung haben einen bleibenden Eindruck hinterlassen. Die Empfehlungen zu Gerichten waren exzellent, und sie hat stets dafür gesorgt, dass alles nach unseren Wünschen verlief. Ihr Engagement für exzellenten Service verdient höchste Anerkennung.

Ich habe mir mit Freunden den Adventsbrunch am 1. Advent gegönnt. Qualität, Service, Speisenauswahl, Ambiente - alles hat 5 Sterne verdient.

Ambiente molto bello ed elegante, soprattutto considerando la vista sul Reno e la città. Il cibo era buono. Ho preso un Club Sandwich e il bacon croccante era veramente delizioso. Anche le patatine dolci fritte erano molto sfiziose. Ho apprezzato che le salse erano in dei piccoli vasetti di vetro sigillati. Anche il servizio era efficiente. Forse l'unica pecca è il prezzo un pochino esoso.

Exzellenter Service, hervorragendes Essen und einmalige Atmosphäre. Es lohnt sich auch ohne eine Übernachtung im Hotel. Natürlich nicht günstig, aber der Preis steht in einem sehr guten Verhältnis zur Qualität. Einfach toll.

Unfreundlicher Empfang, Essenqualität in keinem Verhältnis zum Preisgefüge, keine Brotauswahl (obwohl Teller/Besteck am Tisch) kein Gruß aus der Küche. Alles in allem ein völliger Reinfall!

Zum Ambiente lässt sich nicht viel sagen außer ,dass es sehr stillvoll und vor allem einladend eingerichtet ist. Leider war die Musik viel zu laut und dadurch auch die Gespräche zwischen den Gästen. Das Essen war lecker und qualitativ hochwertig jedoch lieblos angerichtet. Was mich bzw. uns an unserem Abend gestört hat war der sehr unprofessionelle Service. Das Brot kam viel zu spät bzw. kurz vor dem Essen und war angeblich Frisch gemacht als Entschuldigung für die Wartezeit was für mich jedoch in so einem Restaurant eine Selbstverständlichkeit ist. Außerdem wurden weder Besteck noch Wasser fachgerecht eingesetzt. Es wirkt für mich so als würde das Restaurant mehr können als es letztendlich tut. Die Attitüde einer Kellnerin war besonders unpassend. Sie schien zwar freundlich jedoch total überfordert mit der Situation und leider auch ein wenig Frech wobei ich mir sicher bin ,dass es nicht so rüberkommen sollte. Lediglich eine jüngere Dame (Asiatin) absolvierte den Abend mit mehr Professionalität und Seriosität. Auch muss ich sagen das die Dame die ich als erstes beschrieben habe am ende unseren Besuchs aufgrund von Kommunikationsproblemen und nicht Absprache mit den anderen Kolleginnen uns durch das Restaurant verfolgt hat und uns leider ein bisschen zu laut drauf aufgefordert hat zu bezahlen was bereits geschehen war. Leider muss ich sagen ,dass ich zum ersten mal kein Trinkgeld geben wollte da mir der Service grösstenteils alles Kaputt gemacht hat.

Alles auf den ersten Blick sehr gut; sehr freundlicher Service, das kleine Rinderfilet war perfekt, aber ohne Beilagen, die man extra bestellen musste, viel zu teuer (46 €). Eine Flasche Wasser 13 €. Atmosphärisch hat trotz der schönen Einrichtung auch etwas gefehlt. Wegen des Preis-Leistungsverhältnisses (insgesamt völlig überhöhte Preise) nur 3 Sterne.

Ich war am Samstag Abend im Hyatt zum Essen. Es hat wie immer toll geschmeckt. Ich wurde wie immer sehr gut bedient. Ich bin sehr häufig dort zum Essen. Das Ambiente ist sehr gut. Um sehr edel und fein Essen zu gehen, ist das Hyatt in Düsseldorf die erste Wahl.💯

Ja, ich hatte mehr erwartet: vor allem, weil Standort und Aussicht für D'dorf ideal sind. Die adäquate Leistung für einen 2,5-stündigen Brunch (für 79 € p. P.!) sollte dann auch geboten werden. Die Qualität der Speisen war sehr gut - allein die Auswahl war in Relation zum Preis eingeschränkt - und entsprach leider nicht dem Werbeversprechen: die großzügige und besondere Fleischauswahl beschränkte sich auf (schmackhafte) 'Kalbfleischstückchen' und ein Sushi-Angebot entfiel komplett. Realistisch betrachtet gab es eine mit Salat und Meeresfrüchten aufgepeppte Auswahl, die viele gute Hotels bereits als 'normales Frühstück' früher am Tag und preiswerter anbieten. Und der Service war nett, wirkte aber ein wenig 'ausgedünnt' - vllt. war ja 'unaufdringlich' angestrebt ;-). **************** Fehlende Auswahl lässt sich nicht durch Lage und Aussicht ausgleichen. Aber: es handelt sich um eine Momentaufnahme, eine persönliche Erfahrung. Erwartung und Angebot waren heute bei mir nicht 'passend'.

Es ist wirklich sehr bedauerlich, dass in so einer Lokalität kaum Fachpersonal im Service arbeitet.

Good quality "hotel restaurant". Good option for travelers for Monday nights when most of the city restaurants are closed.

Das DOX Restaurant im Hyatt Regency Hotel Düsseldorf hat sich zum besten NRW Steakhouse avanciert. Bei meinem Besuch Anfang Oktober konnte ich mich persönlich davon überzeugen, warum alle Steakliebhaber der Stadt und darüber hinaus vom tadellosen Service und den äußerst leckeren Steaks berichten. Das US Entrecote war von erstklassiger Qualität und die gewünschte Garstufe auf den Punkt getroffen. Die Austern "Bloody Mary Style" zur Vorspeise waren ebenfalls ein Gedicht. Die Weinkarte ist ebenfalls beachtlich zusammengestellt. Vertrauen Sie mir und besuchen auch Sie das DOX Restaurant im Medienhafen. Sie werden begeistert sein.

Wir waren mit vier Personen vor Ort. Unsere Freundin hatte Geburtstag. Das Ambiente ist sehr schön. Das Essen war auch sehr gut. Was uns jedoch sehr gestört hat, dass der Service schlecht gewesen ist. Als wir bestellt haben, als das Essen serviert wurde und als das Geschirr abgeräumt wurde, war der Kellner da. Aber zwischen durch, wir waren 2 1/2 Stunden dort, kam keiner, der Bestellungen für Getränke entgegen nehmen wollte geschweige denn gefragt hat, ob wir noch was möchten!!!

Großartiges Dinner im DOX Restaurant und großartige Getränke im Anschluss in der DOX Bar. Die Speisen im DOX Restaurant sind von höchster Qualität, die Speisen werden wunderbar angerichtet und schmecken deliziös. Besonders zu erwähnen sind die Veganen Linguine mit Sommertrüffel, Babyspinat und Pinienkerne welche ein unglaublichen Geschmack haben. Für uns eines der besten veganen Pastagerichte die wir je verzehrt haben. Auch die bekannte DOX Schokoladenkugel ist sehr zu empfehlen und ein muss wenn man ins DOX Restaurant geht. Das gesamte Personal ist sehr aufmerksam wie es sich gehört in einem gehobenen Restaurant. Wir freuen uns bei unserem nächsten Trip nach Düsseldorf ein Besuch im DOX Restaurant zu planen! :)

Früher habe ich die Bar des Hyatt häufig besucht. Der zuletzt erfolgte Umbau ist meiner Meinung nach auch sehr gelungen. Nach einem weniger guten Besuch der Bar vor wenigen Wochen habe ich am 16.09.23 mit Freunden noch einmal einen Versuch gewagt. Es fing damit an, dass die Gin-Tonics in kleinen Whiskygläsern gebracht wurden. Diese waren mit Gin und Eis bereits komplett gefüllt. Auf meinen Einwand hin, wie man denn das Tonic noch hineinbekommen soll, wurden von dieser Kellnerin noch freundlich neue Gläser gebracht. Aufgrund dessen, dass es anfing zu regnen, bat man uns in die Bar zu wechseln. Hilfe bei der Platzsuche wurde keine angeboten. Nachdem wir uns mühsam die Sessel zusammengesucht haben, haben wir dann ca. 20 Minuten auf eine Bedienung gewartet. Als wir dann zur Bar gegangen sind, hat man uns ebenfalls mit Nichtachtung gestraft. Als ich dann jemanden ansprach, wurde ich angepampt. Nun denn, die Getränke wurden dann doch gebracht. Leider waren die Gin-Tonics wieder in Whiskygläsern, die ich wiederum reklamierte. Diese Kellnerin fand das wenig lustig und beschwerte sich über meinen Einwand lautstark. Der Gin-Tonic wurde umgegossen und wortlos auf den Tisch geknallt (wortwörtlich)... Ich versteh ja die aktuellen Personalprobleme, aber es ist ja nicht so, als wenn in der Bar wenig Personal vorhanden war, die aber viele Gäste bedienen mussten. Die Bar war max. zu einem Drittel gefüllt und es waren ca. 5-6 Mitarbeiter/innen vorhanden. Zeit für Gespräche und Witze untereinander schien genug vorhanden zu sein. Ich habe für vieles Verständnis, aber sicher nie für Unfreundlichkeiten und einer schlechten Einstellung zur Arbeit. Nie wieder!!!

İ guess i have found a fav place for mittagessen or a coffee break with a lovely view. Located on the hafen with the most beautiful view and at the same time with gourmet kitchen Dox made my day👍 I go with the lunch card and started with a very fresh salad which is followed with salmon, both were very delicious. Also the ambiance and the atmosphere of the restaurant is so appealing. I will definitely take my guests visiting Dusseldorf for the first time and i am sure they will leave the city with a very positive image afterwards😄Also the staff is so welcoming and helpful so overall it deserves all the stars given👌

Kommen immer wieder gern. Die Auswahl an Speisen, die Qualität, der Service, die Einrichtung und nicht zu vergessen der herrliche Weitblick machen jeden kulinarischen Ausflug ins Dox zu einem unvergesslichen Abend.

Sehr langsame Bedienung. Wir haben uns am 3. September auf der Terrasse hingesetzt und wir mussten mehr als 15 Minuten auf eine Kellnerin warten. Keiner schaut sich an, ob es neue Gäste auf der Terrasse gibt.

War geschäftlich da und vor kurzem auch privat zum Brunch sonntags. Sehr zu empfehlen, professioneller Service und sehr leckere Speisen. Da das ein teures Restaurant ist, nur angenehme Gäste, die sich benehmen können.

Seit geraumer Zeit im „arabischer Style“ umgebaut. Trotzdem stylisch und gemütlich. Karte vollständig überarbeitet. Sehr zuvorkommendes und nettes junges Team. Gerne wieder. 5****£

The stuff needs training, I went to the toilet for 4 minutes and when I come back I did not find my cocktail and my glass of Water..they got New clients in the meantime and they just remove my glasses with the pretext: I thought u left..how could I have left without paying They should bring people more educated in their team because when clients go in places like this, they are not looking only for having an expresso martini, they are looking for a good experience as well...

Restaurant war leer, wir haben den Kellner gefragt, ob wir uns mit unserer Reservierung an einem Tisch hinsetzen dürfen - „Nein! Ich muss Ihre Reservierung prüfen“. Nachdem wir gewartet haben, wurden wir gefragt ob wir Hyatt Mitarbeiter sind oder das Jochen Schweizer Paket gebucht haben - nein, das auch nicht. So unverschämt wurde ich noch nie in einem Restaurant empfangen.

Schönes Setting am Wasser und der Service war wirklich nett. Leider hat die Qualität des Essens enorm nachgelassen. Das Steak, das mein Mann serviert bekommen hat, war unterträglich schlecht und sehr teuer. Nudeln und Salat einfallslos. Fazit: Der Glanz von früher, so wie ich das Dox kenne, ist deutlich verblasst. Schade. Das geht echt viel besser!

Had a wonderful evening with my colleagues at DOX, the food was great, the service was excellent. Next time I will visit Dusseldorf I will surely visit again. Tomorrow Saturday evening, I’m going to come back and celebrate my birthday. I hope I will enjoy it as I did last time I visited DOX.
