Passing through Dusseldorf❤️. A very very good restaurant, with very good food and very good service, Restaurant is located in a magnificent environment, a big favorite, I recommend it❤️

We went hiking with the company and then had dinner at the Lindenhof. The atmosphere is very nice and there is plenty of food. Many thanks to the waiter who served the food in advance due to my appointment and to the staff for being very quick and friendly. I can definitely recommend the restaurant!! Very good!

We had a really great evening at the Lindenhof. You should definitely reserve a table on Friday evening, it was full but there was a pleasant noise. The atmosphere is cozy and high quality, the chairs are super comfortable even for long periods of time. The food was served super quickly and totally appetizing. All three of us found the dishes very tasty. The portions are plentiful. The service was child-friendly and attentive. Great manners / old school like you hardly know anymore, we were thrilled here too. Absolutely recommended. 5 stars.

Yesterday we were at the Lindenhof for the second time in the hope that the much praised food had improved. But unfortunately another failure. My husband had the grill plate and was halfway satisfied. My mother-in-law had the salmon on spinach, which was unfortunately very dry / fried. But she ate some because this variant was her favorite dish. I had boiled beef with horseradish sauce/potato and vegetable variations. The horseradish sauce was thick and sticky like wallpaper paste. The boiled beef is cut thick like roast and tough. Now here it comes...the vegetables probably only dipped briefly into the water and then onto the plate. I don't like overcooked vegetables myself, but they should have a certain amount of heat. I had to cut the cauliflower with a knife. After the first bite I let the entire dish go back. The young gentleman who accepted the complaint was very professional and offered me a revision, but that doesn't make the meat any more edible. I then ordered a potato soup which was good. Then it was time to pay and dear people, pay attention. My dish at 25 euros was on the bill and not the potato soup at 7.00 euros. He apologized but that shouldn't happen. My mother-in-law, an old lady, invited us and would have paid without any problem. Luckily I looked at the bill. You can try it :( We will no longer have a third visit/attempt.

I am thrilled with this really great restaurant. The menu is balanced and the dishes are outstanding and very delicious. I can only recommend a visit. There is also a lunch menu with tasty dishes that include a starter soup and a dessert...

Very nice atmosphere, super good food, very friendly family business. The boss takes time for each individual customer and always has a kind word ready. The location on the edge of the Benrath Castle Park is fantastic. I live abroad, but I would love to come back to Benrath at any time!

My partner and I ate there for the first time a few days ago. It is very tasty and very friendly. The ambience is very nice, so you feel comfortable.

Positiv : Die Lokation, sehr schönes Ambiente. Die Bedienung sehr höflich und zuvorkommend ! Negativ: Das Essen ! Alles Convenience Food ! von der Vorspeise über das Hauptgericht bis zum Nachtisch.Die Vorspeise war Mediterrane Ware wie beim Aldi aus der Kühlung. Das Wiener Schnitzel war Schweinefleisch aus der Fritteuse, Der Burgerpaddy war Schwinefleisch mit einem sehr unangenehmen Geruch und versalzen, Der Apfelstrudel war auch ein Fertigprodukt aus der Gefriertruhe, die dazugereichte Vanillesauce aus dem Tetrapack um nur einige Gerichte zu nennen. Sehr schade !

When the Lindenhof is full, it is very loud and narrow. Otherwise, the food is always very good and the staff is very friendly and attentive. We were never disappointed and would love to come back.

Ich wollte in ein etwas schickeres Restaurant und habe mir die Bewertungen angeguckt - daher habe ich mich dann für das Restaurant entschieden - hatten auch vorher reserviert. Ich fand die Einrichtung und die Deko mega schön 🥰 der Kellner war auch sehr freundlich und das Angebot der Speisekarte war auch sehr groß. Essen war super lecker und sehr schön angerichtet - der Wein war auch lecker 😋 preislich etwas höher aber dafür große Portionen. Ich würde nochmal hingehen.

Service: The majority of the employees can smile, everyone brings the things you ordered quickly, if, yes, if you were able to order... What I want to say is that not in my opinion there is a lack of attention. Ambiance: It is modernly furnished and yet creates a cozy atmosphere with charm, respect for that. Unfortunately, it is always busy there and was always too loud for me! If you have to raise your voice a lot at a table of four so that the other person can understand you, it's no longer a nice atmosphere, no matter how nicely it is set up. I don't know if anything can be changed structurally, but I won't be coming here anymore, primarily for this reason. I'm sorry! We have been to the Lindenhof many times and have never been disappointed. The operation is great, everything works perfectly. Even in a large group, everyone gets their food in quick succession!!!!

I can't confirm the good reviews. Vitello Tonnato was good, the carpaccio was swimming in oil. The veal cheeks were an inedible, slimy mass. When the very nice waiter asked, the kitchen said: we always prepare it like this. Price performance is absolutely not given here, unfortunately

The Lindenhof always offers a culinary experience, whether with a few friends or this time in a group. The prices are a little higher, but the portions are very good. The employees are very polite and courteous. There is outdoor and indoor dining. Access is barrier-free. We recommend.

I haven't been here in 20 years! No comparison to back then. A really cool location with great food and very nice staff. The winter garden is also very inviting. This is a great place to stop off after a walk in the castle park. Located not far from the orangery. Simply leave the car there and walk about 250m south and you're there! 👍🏻

Four of us came across the Lindenhof by chance while looking for a restaurant halfway between Bergisch-Gladbach and Willich. Guided by the many positive reviews and the website, we ended up here this evening. We weren't sorry! Our food, starters and main courses, all different, tasted really good. The menu was well-timed and special requests due to allergies were no problem. Very friendly service, fast, attentive service, even though it was really busy. All in all, a very consistent performance and we look forward to eating here again soon after a football game. Thank you for the lovely evening!

The food is always of good quality in terms of preparation and quality. The service is always friendly and reliable, even smaller requests that are not on the menu are fulfilled. (Fried egg) The facility is neat and clean, but is already getting old.

Meine Kollegin und ich hatten für 18 Uhr einen Tisch reserviert. Leider mussten wir beruflich bedingt absagen. Wir sind dann gegen 19 Uhr spontan hingefahren und waren positiv überrascht. Es war kaum etwas los wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt. Der Service war genau richtig, nicht aufdringlich, schnell und sehr aufmerksam. Das Essen war qualitativ, wie preislich sehr gut und auch die Atmosphäre war sehr einladend. Wir werden das Restaurant weiter empfehlen und auf jeden Fall öfters vorbei schauen.

Ich war heute mit meinem Sohn und einer Bekannten im Lindenhof zu Mittag. Zunächst bekamen wir eine absolut geschmacksneutrale Tagessuppe meine Begleiter jeweils ein kleines Wiener Schnitzel mit Pommes und ich hatte mich für die hausgemachten Frikadellen mit Kartoffelsalat entschieden. Frikadellen (2 kleine) und auch der so genannte Kartoffelsalat, waren, wie die Tagessuppe, absolut geschmacksneutral, weshalb ich nach Senf fragte. Bekommen habe ich süßen Senf aus Bayern ( und das in Düsseldorf). Mit 3 Cola und 2 Tassen Kaffee, wurde 68 € los. Und als ich trotz noch vollem Teller gefragt wurde, ob es dann geschmeckt habe, habe ich höflich geantwortet: Die Getränke waren einwandfrei und wenn ihr Koch jetzt noch Kochen lernt, werden Sie Weltberümt.

We had reserved a table for two people for Saturday evening. We sat near the bar. The atmosphere is very pleasant - dim lighting, visually appealing decoration, subtle music. There were a lot of people in the restaurant, but it wasn't crowded. The service was very friendly and unobtrusive. Our orders were taken quickly and the food was delivered quickly. The portions were just right to fill you up. The price-performance ratio is also right. We were both very satisfied and would like to come back.

Das Restaurant hat sich einen Ruf für Qualität und Exzellenz aufgebaut, der meiner Meinung nach absolut gerechtfertigt ist.

Schönes, gediegenes Restaurant in der Nähe des Benrather Schloßes. Ob Wild, Steaks, oder eben Konventionelles: Hier kann man so Einiges genießen und wir waren mit unseren Bestellungen sehr zufrieden. Trotz einer anderen, sehr großen Gruppe (und insgesamt auch gut besucht), waren wir stets im Fokus der aufmerksamen Bedienung! Der Wohlfühleffekt war für uns also gegeben. Auch die Toiletten wirkten sehr gepflegt: Sauber & wohlduftend. Das spricht für sich und für den Lindenhof.

Sehr schönes Lokal, aber durch Preis/Leistung und schlechte Bedienung nicht weiter zu empfehlen. Sehr teuer. Die Portionen des Essens sind groß, was einen hohen Preis rechtfertigen könnte. Allerdings ist es geschmacklich nicht sehr gut und eher nicht zu empfehlen. Die Trüffelpasta schmeckte nur sehr wenig nach Trüffel, das Gemüse war leider kalt und hart. Das Personal ignoriert teilweise den Gast zu lang. Sehr unfreundlich außer offenbar der Chef persönlich. Es wurde dem Personal mitgeteilt, auch die Missstände mit dem Essen, allerdings wurde sich weder entschuldigt, noch gab es eine Entschädigung oder ähnliches. Sehr laut, aber bei vollem Hause nachvollziehbar. Eher nicht zu empfehlen.

Wir sind hier auf Empfehlung und Einladung eingekehrt und wurden nicht enttäuscht. Hervorzuheben ist das schicke Interieur, die aufmerksame Bedienung und natürlich nicht zuletzt das gute Essen. Es gibt eine wirklich umfangreiche Karte und für jeden Geschmack ist etwas dabei. Auch saisonales wie Gänseessen, Pfifferlinge und weiteres finden sich in einer schönen Auswahl auf der Tageskarte wieder. Die Karte erstreckt sich von gut bürgerlich über Burger & Steaks bis hin zu Pasta und Schnitzelgerichten. All das ohne das gute Niveau aus den Augen zu verlieren, kann man hier wirklich bei keinem Gericht etwas falsch machen. Das Ambiente ist stilvoll und edel. Der Lindenhof ist dennoch nicht überteuert oder was für die Hautevolee und kann mit guten Preisen bei guten Portionen punkten. Auch für ein leckeres frisch gezapftes Glas Altbier lässt es sich hier gemütlich sitzen. Wir bedanken uns für den wirklich schönen und geselligen Abend und kommen gerne wieder! Endlich waren wir mal im Lindenhof und können es nur jedem wärmstens empfehlen hier auch einmal vorbeizuschauen.

Netter Service, tolles reichliches Essen

War nach langer Zeit wieder dort Essen, bin total endtäuscht worden. Hatte mir den Salat mit Hühnerstreifen bestellt und meine Begleitung ebenfalls. Der Salat war schön angerichtet und sah nach einer großen Portion aus. Aber das war auch alles. Damit es so schön gefüllt aussah wurde Unmengen von geröstetem Weißbrot in Würfeln unter den ersten wenigen Blättern und dem wenigen Hühnerfleisch (max. 1/3 einer 1/2 Brust) angerichtet. Unter der Vielzahl von Brotwürfeln schwamm dann noch etwas Salat in weißer mit übermäßig viel Essig und Majonaise Salatsauce. Ich habe max. 1/3 von dem Teller essen können. Der volle Preis 17,90€ pro Teller )wurde kassiert obwohl wir die Qualität angesprochen haben. Schade Lindenhof das konnten Sie mal besser. Ich werde nicht mehr bei Ihnen einkehren.

Wir saßen im Wintergarten, war gut beheizt und gemütlich. Das Essen war bei den anderen Personen sehr gut, bis auf den Steakteller, da war das Fleisch sehr trocken unt tot gegrillt.

Leckeres und ein bisschen ausgefallenes Essen (also eben nicht nur Schnitzel einfach :=) ) zu angemessenen Preisen, gutes Düsseldorfer Hausbrauerei Bier, eine angenehme Atmosphäre und freundliches sowie aufmerksames Personal machen den Aufenthalt im Lindenhof immer zu einem kleinen, aber sehr netten Freizeiterlebnis. Kommen gerne wieder!

Wir waren gestern Abend mit Freunden im Lindenhof und hatten einen wunderschönen Abend. Das Essen war top, die Getränke perfekt gekühlt, das Dessert ein Träumchen. Dazu extrem freundliches Personal, wir wurden wie immer exzellent bedient und sind noch nie enttäuscht worden. Das Ambiente ist wunderschön, den Lindenhof können wir nur wärmstens empfehlen.
