We had a company event on site yesterday. The staff was incredibly nice and helpful. The dishes were typically Vietnamese, very authentic, excellent and also inexpensive. We will definitely come again :)

Here you can get delicious food and, above all, authentic Vietnamese dishes! At least as far as we as Germans can judge. There are always a lot of Vietnamese guests, which we interpret as a good sign. Apparently the whole family works here - unfortunately sometimes with a lack of knowledge of German, which can make ordering a bit difficult. But that is made up for with kindness. The ambience is kitschy and takes a little getting used to, but somehow fits with the overall picture. The prices are fair and rather cheap for Munich. Definitely try it out!

Tasty vietnamese food and drink. A little bit hidden due to the construction in front of the restaurant. A lot of parking lots nearby. We can recommend to try out the salat, pho, coffee & sticky rice. We were so full that couldn't try the dessert.

I reserved a table online for the next day. After two confirmations, I received a message 20 hours later the next day that my reservation had been canceled - without explanation and by email, even though I had to provide my telephone number when registering. So really: If you forget to mention that you don't want to open your shop that day, then you have to at least tell people by phone so that they don't end up in front of a locked door.

This lovely place is my all time favorite Vietnamese restaurant in Germany. As a Vietnamese myself, I can attest that the food here represents the most genuine VNese cuisine at a very affordable price. Food lovers are warmly recommended to try out the Vietnamese dishes on menu. My favorite one is Com Tam Suon Bi Cha, try it and you won't be disappointed :)

Very satisfied!!! I am quite sure that Dong Que Quan is a delicious, beautiful, authentic restaurant. So I ordered Goi Du Du as a starter, Bun Dau Mam Tom and Banh Canh as main courses, and this Che Khoai Mon as dessert. For drinks I have Bac Xiu and Nuoc Mia. Firstly, all the dishes were truly Vietnamese from taste to aroma. Secondly, the owner was extremely friendly and approachable as we chatted briefly in Vietnamese. Third, as far as I know, there are several options for dessert. This means you can order a variety of dishes that are authentically Vietnamese. There are not as many authentic restaurants as Dong Que Quan in Germany. P/S: I mean the southern taste (Ho Chi Minh City). P/S: yesterday I had Hu Tieu Nam Vang. Omg, that was excellent 😭😭😭 Simply authentic!!!

What a great restaurant, difficult to find at the moment due to construction but definitely worth the search. Incredibly helpful staff, and service. All in all, a first class family business with original Asian food and a well-stocked bar, even drinks to go. Keep it up!

I have tried many Vietnamese restaurants in Germany and I really have to say that Dong Que Quan is the best Vietnamese restaurant in Germany! It is prepared according to very authentic Vietnamese recipes. The hygiene there is top, even the toilets are always clean. If you want a delicious Vietnamese dinner, you can't go wrong here. The order is taken straight away and prepared quickly. My personal favorite was Pho Ga. Staff is super friendly and very helpful!

Best authentic Vietnamese restaurant in Munich

Huong had a good experience at Dong Que Quan. Right from the moment you enter, the restaurant space creates a warm and comfortable feeling. The service staff is extremely friendly. I chose Bun with tofu and shrimp paste and felt the dish was quite delicious. If you are looking for an ideal place to enjoy, I recommend you visit Dong Que Quan. This is truly a place not to be missed when coming to Munich.

Red curry duck was very good this time! I didn't notice anything a little salty or spicy for my taste. But that's purely a matter of taste. Very friendly and attentive staff. The restaurant can't do anything about the ongoing construction site around it

I’m living in Hamburg but visited Bavaria for one week. My friend recommended me this restaurant, I tried and loved it from the first time. I visited to have dinner or lunch almost every day. I have to say, as a Vietnamese, I think this is the best Vietnamese restaurant in Germany. 😊 Except Bun Dau Mam Tom, the Mam Tom is not so good based on my personal taste😉 Others are perfect!

Top!!! Where in the house next door and I always enjoy going there with my boyfriend. Sometimes I also pick up food. It's a dream every time, whether there or to take away. Of course the whole restaurant and of course the loving staff are very, very pleasant. The construction site will soon be over. So people come and convince yourself of the food and staff. Authentic Vietnamese cuisine with TOP value for money! 👌 The service was very friendly and took the time to make small recommendations, even though there was something going on. 👍 The atmosphere is of course a little simpler than in the shops, where it often costs twice as much. However, I think the ambience fits the overall concept, so I give it 5/5. 😊

The shop is surrounded by scaffolding on the outside and is currently being renovated. But still it says in Google it's still open every day. It's hard to believe when we get there it's closed and everything is still being renovated. Please log out of Google so that customers are not irritated.

I tried to book a table online on a Saturday for 4 people the next day. There was no more space on the website. After a call we still got the table. When we arrived on Sunday there was only one table occupied. Conclusion: online booking is not reliable. Call! The food was okay, not particularly good, you can eat sometimes, but you don't necessarily have to. The price was okay.

This is hands down the best Vietnamese restaurant in Munich. I have tried their Pho Bo and Bun Bo Hue, staples of Vietnamese cuisine, and both are extremely authentic. Coming from the USA, I am used to the soups being more flavorful and on the sweeter side, and I am so glad I found a place in Munich that makes it the way I like. They even have traditional drinks as well. I got the sugarcane juice, and it was great! The food is incredibly cheap considering Munich prices. Super Preisleistung! I highly recommend anyone who wants an authentic Vietnamese experience to come here!

Been here so many time that rarely took any pics anymore but foods in here really good, everytime I want Phở, am gonna be here. Cơm Tấm, Spring Rolls, Bánh Xèo, Bún Lá Lốt... all really fit my taste. The price is so good to compare with quality of foods here.

I was there at 6 p.m. - unfortunately I was the only guest. The team deserves more. The whole block is currently being renovated and everything is therefore scaffolded. But that doesn't detract from the ambience: the hosts lovingly make the best of the situation. The food was fantastic, the prices extremely fair and the staff very pleasant. Gladly again. I hope they survive the construction site.

The price is cheap compared to the general area, although the shop is a bit hidden due to the school in front, it is worth a visit! That food was so delicious . We spent a long weekend in Munich last month. We went to this restaurant twice because we liked it so much. We loved the grilled duck! The service is very friendly and attentive. Conclusion: when we are in Munich again, we will eat at the Dong Que Quan Restaurant again!

Ordering / drinks, etc. can sometimes take a while; The service itself could be a little better, but the restaurant is still relatively new - so hopefully it will be. They talk about breakfast, but there is no breakfast here, etc. - I don't think you should support something like that. You wouldn't even need it - 😔.

As a Vietnamese living in southern Vietnam, I find that this restaurant is very close to my home cuisine. The Bun Bo Hue and especially Com Tam are really delicious and very tasty. This restaurant offers an authentic experience that reminds me of the tastes of my hometown. For anyone who wants to try the real southern Vietnamese cuisine, this restaurant is definitely worth it.

A nice Vietnamese restaurant with many authentic options. The Cơm Tấm is my favorite dish here—the portion is generous, the meat is tender and flavorful. The fish sauce is a bit too sweet and differs from the Saigon style I'm used to at home. The Bún Bò Huế is decent compared to what you typically find in Germany. Will definitely come back to try other dishes when I am in Munich.

We were there on Saturday evening. It was a somewhat quiet evening. We only ordered Vietnamese dishes. The food was very authentic and tasted good. Price-performance is very good. Drink prices for Munich are very cheap. The only negative thing was the few fruit flies over the food and I didn't find the atmosphere that appealing either. Nevertheless, I can recommend the restaurant.

Food is very traditional in this small feel-like family restaurant. We live nearby and like this restaurant very much. I think we went already 4 times this year. What makes it our top spot is in the details: Prices are relatively cheap It serves the right kind of stuff and only that You get the herbs and bean shoots next to your soup and not already inside it. You can get the shrimp paste if you ask for it. and so on and so on.

Sind heute dort gewesen zum Mittagessen da viele Vietnamesen es empfehlen. Leider muss ich sagen dass das Essen leider nicht besonders war, vor allen nicht die Pho. War wie eine normale Brühe mit etwas Salz und MSG. Es gibt bessere vietnamesische Restaurants in München.

Wir waren an einem Wochenende hier, sodass das Lokal gut gefüllt war. Die Wartezeit der Speisen war dementsprechend länger. Der Service war bemüht und freundlich, jedoch auch etwas überfordert. Immer wieder wurde die Tür offen gelassen, sodass es zog und im Lokal sehr kalt wurde. Die bestellten Speisen waren in Ordnung, jedoch geschmacklich nichts herausragendes. Allgemein sind die Preise eher günstig.

My friend and I went here twice. We ordered different menus for both times. Everything was GOOD and authentic. The price is also fair for Munich :) My favorite Asian restaurant so far and of course I definitely will come back again!

Sehr lecker! Als Asiate finde ich, dass es meinem Geschmack sehr gut entspricht. Ich empfehle es wärmstens allen, die asiatisches Essen mögen!
