Döner kebab in Oberammergau

Hotel in the centre of Oberammergau. Friendly staff and room 110 was ok. There's the drink machine outside the room, but it's not a problem in my case. There are some works in the building and it's quite noisy drilling in the mornings and some afternoons. There's also a really bad smell on the ground floor and the elevator (maybe from fresh painting), but to have breakfast with that smell isn't really nice, honestly. Furthermore, breakfast is getting worse and worse, nothing is replaced and this morning, e.g there was no sweet pastries left and only kaiser bread, no scrambled eggs this week either.

The lamb shank was excellent, I can definitely recommend it. The young waiter was very attentive to all our needs and gave us great suggestions for things to do in the area. A pleasant, family-run atmosphere and quick service. Next time I'm in Oberammergau, I'll definitely be back!

Very good food. Everyone is friendly, and you feel at home here. The price/performance ratio is excellent.

This is definitely the place to go for dinner when in Oberammergau. Traditional cuisine, fantastic craft beer, and fast service. Highly recommended!

We've been coming here for years and appreciate the service, but especially the quality of the food. The daily specials always feature exciting regional interpretations. Unfortunately, our last visit was truly our last; Mundart is closing, and with it one of the last good restaurants in the Ammergau region. I hope there's light at the end of the tunnel soon.
