The food was quite okay, but the interior decoration was not good and you had to wait a long time to eat or pay.

The food (burger and pizza) was very delicious and good value for money, the waiters were friendly and the place was very cozy.

We had a fine lunch when we visited Oberammergau. The staff was friendly, the menu had nice choices, and it was a perfect spot as we strolled around town.

We were a party of five that stopped in for a quick lunch while shopping in the area and so glad that we did. We all got different dishes and were all pleased with what we got. I got the wiener schnitzel and it was really good. My husband go the pizza and really liked it as well. The service was great and our server was very nice and helpful. He spoke enough English that we were able to get by. We sat on the sidewalk and enjoyed the wonderful weather and watched the people as they went about their day. We were there in July 2024. The prices were good for what you get. Would recommend and will be back when we are in the area.

We went to dinner today. The seating and menus have seen their best days a long time ago. The pizza was okay (a little dry). However, the side salad wasn't good. Hardly any taste, the salad was partly brown and mushy. A pity.

We arrived as a group of 12 and were directed to the tables outside that we requested. The drinks and food orders were taken promptly and all items came in good time and were correct. We had a mixture of pizzas and pastas; the pizzas were particularly good with a thin, crisp base, and an acceptable amount of toppings. We got caught in a heavy rain shower, and so were directed inside to a large table to finish up our meal. The service was great. We would certainly come back.

We would receive a friendly welcome. The food is overall ok. The pizza was tasty, but not outstanding. The halloumi burger seemed a bit bland.

We had pizza here for lunch. It was one of the best pizzas I've ever eaten. The base was airy and crispy, just as you would expect from a good stone oven pizza. The service was very quick and the food came quickly. If we are in Oberammergau again we will definitely eat here again.

Despite the low rating, we spontaneously decided to have lunch here. The restaurant and furniture don't look inviting. The restaurant is very quiet. The staff was friendly. We chose Halloumi Burger and Pizza Margherita. Pizza Margherita was good, unfortunately we didn't like the Halloumi Burger. The Halloumi Burger consisted of small burger buns with a leaf of lettuce, two slices of cucumber, two slices of tomatoes, a dollop of sauce and a thick slice of Halloumi cheese. In addition, there was a lot more fries on one plate than on other plates. I don't think the price of this burger is justified. We paid €10.90 for this burger without a side dish, plus fries as a side dish for €4. For this price you can get much more delicious food elsewhere.

Acqua panna good stuff, friendly personal, helles vom fass very good. Since my stomach is very sick i just got a sidesalad. My Dad got wienerschnitzel with fries. i love the schnitzel, and the side salad and the fries. everything is so good. the staff super friendly. I say the schnitzel tastes like fish. My Dad's knife doesnt cut. the schnitzel was very thick and they threw the fries underneath it. cant cut the schnitzel without destroying the fries

Condition is nice, but someone else will collect the money. The prices are far too expensive and the pizza is inedible with far too little tomato sauce. Bruschetta was far too expensive, only four small baguettes and that too without garlic. Pasta for small children is far too expensive 8.90 for plain pasta . Not recommended.

Bruschetta didn't taste like anything! Service was very nice! Pizza too dry and hardly any sauce! For our grandson the plain noodles, a complete rip-off almost 10 euros😡Not recommended!

NEVER AGAIN!! rip off We went there as a family to eat and don't even need to start with the absolutely bad dry pizza. But the icing on the cake was that we ordered pasta without anything for our 10 month old baby and dripping oily pasta arrived. We let them go back and got basically the same thing again. We just accepted it but ended up charging €8.90 for it, which is something I've never experienced before. There is a restaurant around the corner where you can get it. 3.60€ a children's portion of fresh spaetzle with sauce. After we confronted the boss, only words came back. Never again.

This restaurant is definitely underrated. The homemade pizza is delicious and their German dishes are also delicious with their own improvements, thus, not so authentic.

Nice staff, delicious food. What you should perhaps serve with the cheese spaetzle would be fried onions instead of fried onions. We'd love to come back.

Waiter was knowledgeable and helpful for me which if important when traveling. I have celiac and must eat gluten free. I had salmon, potatoes and salad. It’s never a guarantee in small towns so it was lovely!

Pro: Tolle Lage und schönes Ambiente, Bedienung und Service ok, kleine Kinderportion problemlos und preislich gut umgesetzt. Alles sauber und ordentlich. Die verwendeten Zutaten wirken alle samt frisch oder in einer guten Qualität. Contra: Salat war sehr klein geschnitten und viel zu viel Dressing, die Soße die auf den Pizzen kommt fanden wir sehr säuerlich und mit Oregano (oder Pizzagewürz) zu stark gewürzt.

Buena comida y precios razonables. La terraza en días de calor, ideal. Fresca y agradable. Este pueblo tiene mucho encanto y aunque es pequeño, es necesario tomarse su tiempo para verlo, y seguir después de comer. Aquí ha ido todo perfectamente y con la comida variada en cuanto a ensaladas, pasta o pizzas. Lo típico aunque también había platos locales.

Mein Mann und ich haben draußen gegessen. Wir waren an einem Sonntag Mittag da. Das Essen hat super geschmeckt und hat gut angerichtet. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und flink. Wir waren sehr zufrieden. Wir hatten beide eine Pizza aus dem Holzofen und einen Beilagensalat mit regionalen Zutaten.

One of the very few places here with English words on the menu. Sweet wine was yummy, Diavola pizza delicious and I was able to swap out onions for basil. Service was a little slow because we got there when they had a rush but staff was very nice and accommodating.

Die Tomatensuppe wurde nahezu kalt serviert. Nachdem ich die Kellnerin darauf hingewiesen habe, bekam ich den Teller Mikrowellen-erhitzt unfreundlich zurück gebracht. Das Personal wirkt überfordert und die Preise sind der Menge entsprechend nicht angemessen.

Keine oder schlechte Bedienung, Essen kalt, nicht besonders schmackhaft. Preis-Leistungsverhältnis passt nicht!!

Der Effekt der Holzofenpizza verpufft leider da den Pizzen leider der Geschmack fehlt. Die Pizzen sind schön groß und optisch ansprechend. Aber der Geschmack ist leider auf der Strecke geblieben. Echt schade.

Keine gute Pizza! Wer gewisse Ansprüche bei einer Pizza hat, kommt hier definitiv nicht auf seine Kosten. Wir wohnen im Ort und kennen weitaus bessere Optionen. Preis-Leistung stimmt hier absolut nicht (13€ Diavolo) und mit einer italienischen Pizza hat es nichts zu tun. Teig hart und nicht fluffig, Tomatensoße geschmacklos und auch kein gescheiter Käse. Das Personal ist aber sehr nett.

I came here with my friends for some lunch and it was the worst experience I’ve had in a restaurant. The service was poor as I didn’t get my food for over an hour and the older waitress was rude and aggressive with us. They were not accommodating at all. Our food was raw and inedible. We got our food over 30 minutes apart which is completely not okay. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone. When my friend asked for a plain burger they just scraped the ketchup and cheese of they didn’t bother making a new one when she specified a plain one. Overall it was a horrible experience.

Eine absolute authentische und wahnsinnig leckere Steinofenpizza. Wir waren zu 6 dort und haben alle unterschiedliche Pizzen gegessen und waren alle begeistert. Einer unsere Mitreisenden ist Halbitaliener und sein Vater hat eine Pizzeria auf Sizilien und auch er war völlig begeistert. Die Bedienung war super nett und auch bei zwei kleineren Fragen die nicht wirklich was mit dem Restaurant zutun hatten sehr hilfreich. So eine leckere Pizza bekommt man wirklich selten. Auf den ersten Eindruck wirkt das Restaurant vielleicht etwas chaotisch aber das unterstreicht für mich die Authenzutät. Das wichtigste ist aber eh der Geschmack der hat zu 100% überzeugt und auch in Italien gibt es zahlreiche Pizzerien die von der Einrichtung ähnlich sind auch etwas "chaotisch" oder sagen wir besser nicht so klar und strukturiert wirken. Zu den weiteren Gerichten können wir nichts sagen, aber sie sahen zumindest auch lecker aus.

Restaurant is central located in town. Service was quick. Waiter was friendly. Menu is in English. Food however was not the best. My daughter ordered a margarita pizza that has horrible. Tasted like a $1.99 pizza you get in the frozen section of a grocery store. The ham and mushroom and pepperoni pizzas were excellent. My son orders the cheeseburger. Not even palatable. Questionable what the meat was. If you want pizza with toppings it’s a win. Outside of that, stay away and don’t waste you money!

This restaurant is pretty basic but has a nice central position, with outdoor tables in addition to interior ones, so great for watching the world go by, & just a few minutes walk to the Passion Play Theatre. Service was smiley & quick which was appreciated as we’d had to abandon another hostelry due to a lack of welcome & attention. The service is good and since I did not have a reservation I was able to quickly get a table. The dark beer is HACKER PSCHORR DUNKEL is quite good and I think is sort of local. The chicken schnitzel is nicely prepared and lightly battered and fried. I guess I will mention my potato salad which is made with red potatoes, sweet relish and either regular or light mayonnaise! Not really a pizzeria!

Waren dort 2 mal während des Urlaubs, hatten das erste mal Penne Arrabiata und beim 2. mal Pizza. Die Penne war nicht scharf, erinnerte eher an Tomatensoße. Die Pizzen beim zweiten Mal waren allerdings super, sehr groß und mit knusprigen Boden. Wir haben sie leider nicht geschafft, haben sie aber eingepackt mitbekommen. Der Service war ok. Ein bisschen mehr Lust könnte man erwarten. Trotzdem ein Besuch wert.

Hauswein Rosé schmeckte fad, wie verdünnt. Aperol-Spritz war etwas zu warm, trotz kleiner Eiswürfelchen darin ( hatten wir noch nie so...) Die Pizza ist so groß, dass sie über den Tellerrand auf den Tisch hängt. Geschmacklich war der Teig o.k. Und knusprig ( deshalb hatten wir uns ja diese Lokal ausgesucht, da es dort Steinofenpizza gibt) Hatte eine vegetarische P. Bestellt. Allerdings war der Belag mehr als merkwürdig: rohe, sehr dünne Streifen ( breit verteilt) von grüne, gelber Paprika und rohe Aubergine u. Zwiebel. Darüber extrem viel schwarze Oliven-Ringel gestreut. Leider kein Fotos gemacht. Die andere Pizza = Ruccula war geschmacklich o.k. Aber auch mit etwas zu rohen Tomatenscheiben belegt. Beim echten Italiener hätte es sowas wohl nicht gegeben. Hatten halt Appetit auf Pizza. Bedienung war o.k., aber sagte nichts zur Reklamation nach dem Essen. Bediente recht lustlos u. Kassiert nur ab. Räumlichkeit war etwas modernisiert, aber Beleuchtung blendet sehr, wenn man entsprechend zugewandt sitzt. Haben uns eher unwohl dort gefühlt. Preis v. 30,- war zu hoch für all das.
