We ate here on Saturday evening and weren't that impressed. The concept is funny, you order to your table at a counter and take some drinks with you and have the rest and also the food brought to you. Unfortunately, it took a long time before you could order and you had to wait in line. In addition, in my opinion, the food was not particularly high quality or tasty. However, the atmosphere is very nice and you could play cards there without any problems.

You can't go wrong here. Everyone decides for themselves whether the most practical solution is to stand in line for each order and pay for everything individually or whether the pork knuckle burger has to be flooded with BBQ sauce. The pretzels and the Obazter were just fine, as was the ambience.

A nice traditional restaurant with super friendly and attentive staff. Very nice atmosphere for all occasions! Food was fantastic and good selection of food and drinks. Good transport connections and very centrally located to public transport. I can only recommend it!

A very cozy place. Since it was our first time there, a waitress showed us the customs. Everything is ordered at the checkout and paid for immediately. Drinks are taken to the table after paying. Food is brought after the table number is given, which I don't think is bad at all. Because if you don't feel like staying anymore, you can just get up and leave. You don't have to run after a waiter. The audience is predominantly young, which of course creates a cheerful atmosphere in the rooms. Real feeling of well-being is guaranteed. 👍I'll definitely come back.

It was a really nice visit and the beer selection is enormous. It will take a while until I've tried it out, especially since I'm not from Leipzig, but I'm already looking forward to the next visit.

I have rarely eaten such good food. The Frankfurt Green Soss soup was excellent and so was the Vinschgauer cheese schnitzel. There are also 21 different types of beer that a beer drinker can enjoy in small portions. Definitely worth a visit.

Very classy bar around the back of the Bayerischer Bahnhof Bräu restaurant (see other review), with a superb range of beers and excellent prices. It is definitely out of the city centre but right by team routes (2, 9, 16) and the S-Bahn, so easily reached. Start or finish in here after an evening in the Bahnhof restaurant.

This place has an interesting atmosphere with a not-so-normal service concept. Food and drinks have to be ordered at the bar, the food is then brought to you and the drinks are available straight away at the bar. My criticism lies here, as there can be a traffic jam at this point. Perhaps the idea of ​​an app would be helpful here for orders with the information drinks can be picked up. There's not much to say about food other than delicious 😋.

The food and beer is great, both in terms of selection, quality and taste, but the concept of ordering in line is terrible. There should at least be the option to order via app or something similar. So you have to watch the snake the whole time, which was very disruptive to me.

Overall package really good. But it would be even nicer if there was table service. This would be a little more comfortable. So you always have to order inside. But all the staff here are friendly. Food great. Changing orders (e.g. fries instead of nachos) is difficult or, in this case, not possible because some of the food comes from different kitchens. (Staff's statement) But we would definitely come back.

Very nice service in a large location that is not too loud due to the different areas. Beers are good and food is tasty. Just outside the city (10-15 minutes on foot from the Gewandhaus/Opera). The Goosebier (specialty, originally from the Harz Mountains) is very tangy and tastes almost like Bremer or Berliner Weisse with woodruff or raspberries.

Was a guest at the European Championship final as part of the company. Food & drink simply fantastic. Praise also to the staff who were quick. I will definitely come back as a private person at the next opportunity.

The large restaurant, reminiscent of a brewery, offers a huge selection of our own and foreign beers on tap. You can sit outside, inside or in the beer garden. The gastronomy is very diverse and the service is great. Definitely worth a visit.

Location is really nice and food was good too. But it's super uncomfortable when you want to have a nice evening with friends and then you have to wait in line for 5 minutes like in a canteen to get drinks. It ruins the mood when someone constantly has to get up from the table. Then I'd rather pay more money and be served at my seat.

However, it was too expensive for self-service drinks (only food was brought) and you had to queue for a long time, even though there wasn't much going on. How long do you wait on the weekend? Our service was very quick and attentive and the food was very tasty. I ordered the pork knuckle with dumplings and the portion was very decent. The Mai Tai was also super tasty. Unfortunately, this cocktail is often mixed very poorly, but here it was simply perfect. Therefore a full 5 stars in this regard. The only thing I found a bit annoying was the volume in the restaurant, as normal conversation was hardly possible. But due to the large number of people, this was normal.

I had to queue for over 20 minutes to order drinks and food. You actually forget everything! My recommendation. Either two points for ordering (drinks and food separately) or, best of all, simply an ordering system with your cell phone. That would be more contemporary and relaxed for the guests if you want to save on staff.

Nice restaurant, with nice service staff and, above all, with lots of seats. Some of them are a bit tight. Drinks and food can be ordered directly at the counter. You are then served food and you usually take your drinks with you to your seat. The food itself was tasty, the chicken was a bit dry, but otherwise tasty. Lemonade Helga is very tasty, but unfortunately the straws become soft so quickly that you can no longer drink afterwards.

A really nice restaurant I,ll be back

We were guests here with a larger group at the weekend and are absolutely satisfied! The atmosphere is very stylish. The waiters are super friendly, attentive and very fast! The menu offers a good variety of German-Bavarian dishes that taste very good and are also offered at a fair price. Highly recommended, especially if there are few spaces in the neighboring Bavarian train station and you want something a little more stylish and not like a train station.

Their system of no table service does not work at peak times. I am not going to wait in a queue of twenty people for two bar staff to pour beer. Despite the good choice I would rather go somewhere else and get served quicker. I want to spend time with my friends, not stood at the bar!

We sat very comfortably by the fireplace. Unfortunately we had to eat separately because one meal was served earlier. After an hour the other 3 meals were served. It's a shame. The Ochsenbäckchen were also more of an "old ox". Price-performance ratio was rather poor.

The food is great, 🍻 it doesn't get any better than that, if you're a beer lover you have to come here. You can try all the varieties.

A visit to Leipzig certainly includes a visit to the Bavarian Train Station and/or the Doldenmädel. In addition to at least 4 types of home-brewed beer, there are also over 14 other special draft beers on offer, so you can get your money's worth. But the knuckle (from 6 p.m.) is also the best you can eat. Of course, you can take home freshly baked bread, your own Longhorn gin or other spirits. You can also have the beer bottled in a mug to take home. A great restaurant with friendly staff!

Class. The ambience is similar to that of the Altes Mädchen brewery inn in Hamburg. You can also buy delicious bread here. Original Ratsherren beer including a huge selection of guest beers. And anyway, there's Gose on tap here. I like the principle of paying directly at the counter, as we know it from pubs. When you're done, you can just leave. No waiting for the bill. Definitely come back!
