Dittmann´s in Berlin

You can only give this place 5 stars. We stumbled upon this restaurant quite by chance and were absolutely thrilled. We had the schnitzel and the beef roulade. Both were world-class. I honestly think it couldn't get any better. It was like my grandma's food, and I mean that as the best compliment I can think of. The service was also more than exemplary. I certainly won't be the last time I visit. For me, the best restaurant for German cuisine in all of Berlin. Thank you for the absolutely fantastic culinary experience!

We hadn't really noticed Dittmann's since we don't come to Rosenthal that often anymore. We finally went back, and it's worth every trip! The steak ou four was amazing, the meatballs were amazing, the venison goulash was amazing, and the beef roulade was amazing. Absolutely delicious, everything was amazing, and homemade! Friendly service, and they still serve beer on tap! Highly recommended.

Excellent food and unbeatable service We had dinner at Dittmann's and it was an incredible experience. The place is beautiful and cozy, perfect for enjoying a good meal. The service was excellent: very friendly, attentive, and always willing to help. They explained each dish to us in great detail and with enthusiasm. The food was delicious. Everything was beautifully presented and had spectacular flavors. We tried the seasonal menu and especially loved the Flammkuchen and Currywurst! They also have a wide variety of beers, both local, which was a very positive point for us. Definitely a restaurant to return to and recommend. Thank you for a perfect evening!

Cozy, rustic restaurant with typical Berlin charm. The food is freshly prepared, homemade, and delicious. The staff is warm, attentive, and always friendly. The beautiful, shady beer garden is especially inviting in the summer, and during mosquito season, they even offer mosquito spray. Excellent value for money; we'll be happy to return.

Very nice, would love to come back

The three of us sat in the restaurant's beer garden. It was a busy Sunday, but the service didn't suffer. 👍🏼 They were attentive and friendly! The nuggets and fries were great, as was the veal schnitzel. We'd go back anytime. ☺️

I come here often and have to say that the food has always impressed me. Especially outside, on the terrace or in the beer garden, the original Wiener Schnitzel with a large Oberdorfer Helles always tastes best. The service is also very good. Our waitress, Helene, was very attentive and friendly; you got the feeling she wanted to give each guest the best possible experience, rather than simply bringing the food to the table. The fact that the chef, Jens, personally comes to the table to ask if everything is okay and how the food tastes is an added service that you unfortunately don't get in many restaurants these days. We'll be back! 👍🏼

A lovely, tasty Sunday lunch in the Dittmanns beer garden 🍻🌺 The entire visit was fantastic from start to finish. Great staff and even better food. The staff accommodated all our requests and gave us excellent advice. We particularly enjoyed the veal schnitzel and the chicken nuggets with fries. A definite recommendation for a great meal and a pleasant day. 😁

We spontaneously stopped by Dittmann for dinner one Saturday evening. The ambiance and service were fantastic, the food was incredibly delicious, and always complemented by special little touches. The pea puree with the pork knuckle was enriched with crispy black pudding flakes. A delicious paprika sauce complemented the schnitzel. It was a lovely evening; the staff were in a great mood and were also very friendly and attentive. You can spend a lovely summer evening on the terrace and in the garden. We'd love to come back.

Cozy inside with a nice bar and several rooms, including for groups. Outside, there's a covered veranda and a lovely beer garden. Excellent cuisine with fresh, seasonal offerings. Generous portions. Everything is delicious. We'll definitely be back! 😄 , 😄

Restaurant with typical German cuisine. Cozy and well furnished environment, friendly and helpful staff. Good value for money, especially regarding the size of the portions. You can feel that the dishes are cooked with experience and knowledge of the ingredients and recipes. The only flaw, the Schnitzel was a little dry and there was a slice of watermelon on top which in my opinion had nothing to do with it.

The restaurant, which has been run for generations, is cozy and offers enough space for small and larger groups, and separate space if desired. There were two of us and we ate zander and the veal schnitzel and were completely satisfied. The selection of three beers on tap and the friendly service invite you to come back.

Traditional German restaurant with signature dishes. The menu was in German and even though the waiter did not speak English, he tried his best to accommodate us. The food was very decent and the portions large. There is a wide variety of beers. 3 different seating areas, which also serve as a bar/pub. In one of the three areas there is a huge monasterial table which is perfect for lathe groups. The restaurant is pet friendly, which I was positively surprised by.

I had the pork knuckle from the daily menu and I have to say it was a delight. All that was left was the bone on a blank plate :-)

This restaurant is the perfect place to end the working day relaxing with colleagues. The atmosphere is pleasantly bourgeois without appearing overloaded and invites you to linger. I would particularly like to emphasize the quality of the food. As a starter I had the vegetarian salad with spinach ravioli and goat cheese - a wonderfully balanced combination of freshness and heartiness. For the main course I chose the vegetarian celery schnitzel, which was not only creative but also excellent in taste. I can highly recommend both dishes, even for those who otherwise choose less vegetarian options. The service was extremely friendly and attentive, which further enriched the evening. All in all, a great restaurant that I would happily recommend.

Great food, nice selection of dishes, courteous and warm service! I was there both privately and as part of a company party and was thrilled every time. The arrangement for the latter was uncomplicated, fair prices, perfect atmosphere. Absolute recommendation!

I was recently invited to an event at Dittmann's and I have to say, the buffet was amazing! From salmon to suckling pig, there was everything your heart could desire. Really good German cuisine! 😊 The staff was super friendly and the atmosphere was totally pleasant. The terrace and front garden looked really inviting, but in November it was a bit too cool to sit outside. 🥶 I'm looking forward to spring, when you can comfortably drink a cold beer. 🍻 A little tip: Parking spaces are a bit rare in the corner due to the many construction sites. So it's better to plan a little more time. 😉

The reservation was uncomplicated, we got a nice place in the garden. We were able to park on site as there are parking spaces are in short supply. I ate brawn with fried potatoes. It was very tasty and beautifully presented. We also ate tarte flambée, which was also tasty and plentiful. I was completely satisfied.

Really delicious food is served using simple means. Inside you can sit in a rustic way, but outside you can also sit very nicely (on a high terrace, under the tent roof or outside). Since the tables outside are at a comfortable distance, you can also have a pleasant conversation.

A restaurant that is run by the 5th generation. Great selection of food, everything is freshly prepared. Supplements can be customized individually without any problems. The service is very nice and is very attentive. The dishes were all very tasty. We will be back :)

Insider tip, upscale ambience. Unfortunately the prices are a bit above standard.

It is very cozy, super friendly and has the charm of a real country inn. We didn't have a reservation and still got a nice table with 3 little ones and 3 big ones. Appropriate materials are provided to keep the little ones distracted until the food arrives. And the food is just like home-style cooking. The best thing to do first is the Schmalzstülle.

Für mich neu, schöner alter Gasthof, kleine, gute Karte, sehr freundliches Team. Für diese Qualität sind die Preise gerechtfertigt. Gerne wieder.

Das aufgeführte Kalbsschnitzel in der Karte war nicht zu bekommen. Sehr schade, dann nehmt es aus der Karte raus. Die erste Bedienung schien mit der Kritik nicht umgehen zu können es kam dann ein anderer Kellner. Dieser Kellner duzte meinen 72 Jährigen Vater. Wie unangenehm und unangemessen. Ich habe dann das Steak für satte 28€ bestellt. Trocken und sehr wenig Steak war auf dem Teller. Der Wunsch zum Steak waren grüne Bohnen, welche auch nicht mehr verfügbar waren. Bohnen gab es auch nicht! Ich habe dann die Zwiebeln dazu genommen mit dem Wunsch bitte neben dem Steak sie zu platzieren. Der Kellner kam und meine jetzt sind die Zwiebeln doch auf dem Steak. Vollkommen gleichgültig. Selbst dieser eine Wunsch konnte nicht erfüllt werden. Ich musste den Kellner 4 mal rufen damit er die leeren Getränke nachfüllt, sowas gehört sich nicht in einem Service orientieren Restaurant. Mit war es äußerst peinlich meine Gäste dorthin eingeladen zu haben. Das war unser letzter Besuch bei Dittmans.

Ein tolles Lokal mit sehr großem Wohlfühlcharakter und sehr freundlicher Bedienung. Sehr gutes Essen......die Weihnachtskarte war ebenfalls hervorragend. Es war für jeden Geschmack etwas dabei. Alle Familienmitglieder waren begeistert von der wirklich hervorragenden Küche. Wir komlen immer gern wieder hier her. Danke an das gesamte Team!!+

Das Essen war gut - ich hatte Hühnerbrustfilet, musste allerdings die Bratkartoffeln statt Basmatireis durch Aufpreis bezahlen. Es war unsere SPD-Abteilungsweihnachtsfeier, wofür wir einen Nebenraum bekamen. Der Service war ebenfalls ok; über das Ambiente muss ich mich auch nicht beschweren. Bezahlung ging bargeldlos mit Kreditkarte/Telefon.

Das Essen ist hervorragend, ob Schnitzel, Eisbein oder in der Weihnachtszeit Gänsebrust oder -keule! Die Bedienung ist freundlich und zuvorkommend! Absolute Empfehlung!

Super Location, gutes deutsches Essen.

Freitag kurz vor 18:00, alle Plätze schon belegt bzw. reserviert. Nach einer Absage, bekamen wir spontan dann doch noch einen Tisch, extra für uns zurechtgemacht und on top im Saal vor dem geschmückten Weihnachtsbaum. Wie schön! Darüber haben wir uns sehr gefreut. Und der Service der jungen Bedienung so herzlich & freundlich, dass man sich sehr willkommen fühlt. Hirsch & Rinderrouladen waren ausgezeichnet. Wir nehmen uns fest vor, viel öfter zu kommen, denn das Dittmann's ist auf dem besten Weg, gastronomisch unser favourite place zu werden. Können wir unbedingt und wärmstens empfehlen.

Ein gastronomisches Highlight im Norden Berlins. Ambiente super gemütlich, Essen top, nettes Serviceteam... was will man mehr...absolut empfehlenswert.

Essen,Service und Ambiente haben uns wirklich sehr gefallen. Wir waren zum ersten Mal in diesem Restaurant. Am Sonntag allerdings sehr voll. Daher musste man etwas länger auf das wunderbare Essen warten. Einfach mal ausprobieren!

Schönes übriges Berlintypisches Lokal! Historische Dekoration und einfaches Essen auf hohem Niveau! Gepflegte Biere und guter Service runden das ganze ab. Gerne kehren wir hier wieder ein!
