The atmosphere on board is very pleasant, with delicious food and very friendly staff. The entrance is a bit inconspicuous, but it's definitely a nice place to visit and is highly recommended if you're there.

Since I paid for the wine for the three of us, the bill was more expensive than it should have been, but the "place" is very nice and fortunately there were no mosquitoes. The food was fine, not excellent but absolutely fine, and the evening was pleasant and peaceful thanks to the very kind and professional staff.

I recently went there for dinner with business associates. Everything went perfectly, from the reservation to the service and the food. We sat outside on deck. The food was delicious; there was nothing to complain about; everyone had fish dishes, by the way. We spent a very pleasant evening there. This is also thanks to the very friendly and attentive waitresses, who looked after us very well. I can therefore highly recommend a visit to the restaurant ship.

I didn’t not enjoyed the food, the main course was very unhealthy- very high sodium, carbs and unhealthy fats. I ordered young hearing not realizing it was a preserved fish. Very salty. They should only charge for water if it’s in a bottle not tap water in a glass. It was impossible to sit on the top deck, too many spiders and bugs. Not a pleasant experience!

Yes, the prices are a bit higher, but the food is good and everyone is very friendly and helpful. I'll be happy to come back.

We went there for dinner with a large group. We were thrilled. The food was delicious and the service was excellent. Considering it's on a main road, it was totally quiet and there was no street noise. We'd love to come back when we're back in Berlin.

A slightly different kind of restaurant visit :) We saw the sign by chance and followed the path. Luckily, we even got a table. Since we didn't have a reservation, we were very happy about that, as the seating is very limited. The service was great, and they also understood the joke and joined in. The food was excellent and the prices were fair. If we ever visit Berlin again, another visit is definitely on our ToDo list, but this time we'll make a reservation.

Nach vorheriger Reservierung sehr gut gesessen - an heißem Sommertag im Schatten mit leichtem Wind, sehr bequem und mit hinreichend Raum! Umfangreiche Karte mit allen Sparten - Preise angemessen. Es gibt sowohl Berliner Typisches wie auch gehobene gutbürgerliche Küche. Wir hatten uns alle für Fisch entschieden und waren durchweg zufrieden. Wenn man fragt, gibt es auch Besonderes (z.B. Wolfsbarsch), das nicht auf der Karte steht. Bedienung freundlich, aufmerksam, humorvoll.

Yesterday, several colleagues and I went there for the first time. The food was truly delicious, and so did all the other colleagues. I had the "Duroc pork with rosemary potatoes and a small salad"...absolutely top-notch, right down to the salad dressing. I was surprised, as I very rarely eat pork. I highly recommend the bottle of Rosé Merinio with it. The Capt'n Schillow team really looked after us very well (everyone ❤️)...there were 20 people there, after all. In the evening, they brought us blankets to warm up with when it got cooler. Thanks to all of Capt'n Schillow's staff for giving us such a wonderful time. You deserve praise here. ❤️

The food was excellent, but the snippy and, above all, insulting manner of the waitresses really spoiled the experience, and this was the second time. They assumed the guest was a tourist and wouldn't be back anyway. Service desert Germany

Die Dinner- Whisky-Krimi-veranstaltungen sind legendär. Jeder der drei Teile hat 5 von 5 Punkten verdient. Aber auch an allen Tagen ist das Essen vom allerfeinsten, die Umgebung sehr entspannend und die Bedienung super freundlich.

Great place peaceful by the water

It was perfect. The service was very friendly, and you feel comfortable as a guest. You do have to wait a bit for the food, but it's freshly prepared. The food tastes very good. Special requests are accommodated. The dishes are cooked to perfection and very nicely presented. We sat upstairs on the deck; the dining room downstairs looked very appealing. We'll be back.

Honest cuisine, kind service, very pleasant surroundings. As a French i may have higher than average standards regarding quality/price ratio hence the 4/5. But for a Parisian this ratio would be a 5/5. But it's good without being show off and not too expensive. German people have something with asparagus that are kind of a puzzle to me, like they would make asparagus ice cream if that was ever possible, so there was a whole menu filled with asparagus as if Bubba Blue had making an asparagus menu instead of shrimp menue. Amazing. Anyway the place on the water is really cool and relaxing. The veranda/greenhouse is very nice when it rains. We had a good time. Thanks guys.

Sat on deck in the winter garden in bright sunshine but fresh temperatures. Really great! Very good, friendly service. Nice ambience with harmonious details. Excellent (!) cuisine. E.g. sea bream from the daily menu with Mediterranean vegetables. Absolutely great. Recommendation: go!!!

Were there with a group...pre-ordered the menu...it was all delicious...what was done there in a small space...really great...and that on top of a ship on the Landwehr Canal...can't be topped! I'd love to go back!!

We were guests at Capt'n Schillow for dinner on the occasion of our family vacation and would recommend it to every visitor to Berlin who likes to eat in an extraordinary location with a top price/performance ratio. We were particularly impressed by the hospitality.

I was here quit awhile ago. I came across the restaurant quit by accident while sightseeing at Charlottenburger Tor. I was parched and saw a beer sign pointing into the woods. I came across a beautiful little boat on the canal nestled amongst the trees. I wasn't planning on having more than a beer knowing that restaurant boats are never good. I decided to have lunch and had a hot pfifferling stir fry on a cold salad. It was absolutely delicious. One of the best things I've ever eaten. I sat on the deck and it was really lovely. However.....the service was really bad and unfriendly. That's why I gave them a overall score of 3. I would still like to give it another try someday.

We celebrated my husband's 60th birthday at Capt'n Schillow 👯 It was a wonderful party, the food was excellent, location, staff… just great! We had the pleasure of sailing through Berlin on the ship for 3 hours - the staff was so warm and attentive the whole time. Afterwards we wanted to have a drink in the restaurant - unfortunately the great impression was spoiled by the waiter - very long waiting time, unfriendly, listless... It's a shame because everything else was really awesome

Nice to eat on a boat that is moored there. We had a very nice meal and drank a nice Chardonnay.

Die Lage und das Ambiente sind natürlich außergewöhnlich. Wir kommen seit vielen Jahren zu jeder Tageszeit. Der Service ist gut selbst wenn viel los ist, haben die Mitarbeiter Humor und bleiben freundlich Leider sind mittlerweile die Preise so in die Höhe gegangen, dass das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis der Speisen in eine Schräglage geraten ist. Fast 20 € für eine Ofenkartoffel oder ein Salat sind schon happig. Außerdem schade, dass es nicht ein einzigen Fahrradständer oben an der Straße gibt.

I can't rate the food because we weren't allowed into the restaurant. Me and my family wanted to spend a nice afternoon in this restaurant but unfortunately it didn't work out. The waiter (probably the owner) selects guests, tourists are not welcome. Don't waste your time on this place. TRAGEDY!!!!

The oasis in the heart of Berlin. Down the stairs and you're in a biotope with excellent food and nice service

I had read a lot of good things and wanted to surprise my mum for her birthday, but it started when we were seated at a place that was really nice, but we weren't served for almost 20 minutes and then I had to run to the waiter to find out meant that we were forgotten. I ordered the rib eye steak, but unfortunately it was very fibrous so I couldn't eat it, which was a shame for the price! I will still come back a second time to maybe have a better experience next time, which speaks to the many good reviews! It was definitely a very nice atmosphere, especially in the evening when the lights came on!

Give a wide berth. The restaurant selects guests. I've never seen anything like this!!! I wanted to take my wife and two daughters to an atmospheric place, but it turned out to be a complete disappointment!!!

The food and ambience are great, but you really have to bring your time. The drinks were only brought after about 45 minutes. When we said we would like to order our dishes (because no one came to our table), the waiter walked past us, looked at us and shrugged his shoulders. Ultimately the order came after about an hour. It's a shame, but due to the lack of service there, we won't be coming back.

The food (fish) is delicious, the staff is friendly and when the weather is nice it is highly recommended because it is quiet (even though it is in the middle of the city). We liked the view. The cocktails were also great!

Yes, it's mostly locals who eat here, that's the biggest compliment! We got the tip from a friend in Berlin and had to book in advance, it was so worth it! In addition to the very nice staff, there is a great view and very delicate cuisine at a reasonable price. Of course, as northerners we had to try the fish and we weren't disappointed. But be careful: If you have difficulty walking, you have to be very careful when going down the stairs on land. Not wheelchair or walker compatible. When we're back in town we'll definitely go here again.
