DEVA Hotel Restaurant Fischerwirt in Ruhpolding

We had a room with a balcony, bathroom with shower and toilet. As has often been described, the furniture is a bit old, but it was very clean and well maintained. The mattress in the bed took a lot of getting used to. The breakfast was outstanding, lots of choice and it was constantly refilled. The hotel offers a great starting point for activities and is about 25 minutes on foot from the city center.

Very cozy room with an incredibly sunny terrace and mountain views. Highly recommended!

On the last few days of my almost four-week hike through the Alps, I came to the Fischerwirt. I arrived later and it was already dark. I received such a warm welcome, the food was outstanding and the service and attention was great. The breakfast was excellent, you are a great team and thank you for the little farewell gift.

Location is very nice, also the view. Food was excellent. Room.... Well... sink next to the bed... zero storage space. When you get out of the shower it's like a peep show. There are no curtains on the windows opposite! Since it's a double room, there's another person in the room who can see how you're getting ready from A to Z. Depending on who is there, this can be very uncomfortable (for me as a woman). Please could this be solved differently! Otherwise very dark inside, a bit of color and light and it would be friendlier....

Super nice staff, delicious breakfast buffet and dinner and very peaceful sleep. The price-performance ratio is also absolutely consistent. I can only recommend the hotel and the restaurant.

The rooms urgently need to be renovated. The mattresses are worn out. The carpets are dirty. The staff speaks poor German. Breakfast is OK. I cannot recommend this hotel. There are also no pictures of the bathrooms on the website. There's a reason for that. They are 70's bathrooms and the shower in the room is just bricked out and the sink is opposite the bed. At least the toilet is extra.

The rooms are getting old. But very spacious and quiet. The location of the hotel is very nice.

Nice hotel that we found for a stopover in Austria. We arrived late and were warmly welcomed by Saveli and Alina. The restaurant offered great dishes. After such a long journey, the Hefeweizen was also tasty. The rooms are clean, the beds are a bit old. The breakfast tasted excellent. The surroundings are magical.

Unfortunately we were only there for 3 nights. Unfortunately ! Rooms very clean. Breakfast great, dinner great. You can't do anything more. Really recommended.

We had a really fantastic meal here. The service was friendly and the atmosphere with the panorama on the terrace is simply excellent. We can really recommend it.

The bathroom was very large and new, the rest of the room was very large, but some of the furniture, floors and doors were very old and visually damaged. Check-in was great and was possible at any time using a key safe. The breakfast buffet was large and tasty, but the vegan selection was very limited (we missed margarine, hummus, and a vegetable spread, for example). For the price of the night we would have expected everything to be a bit more modern and new, but everything was functional and cleaned.

The food is delicious and leaves your stomach full. Staff is very friendly. Furnishings are typically Bavarian. Exactly as we imagined.

Golf course within walking distance but extremely old hotel. Telephone contact with the manager was very friendly and accommodating with the reservation problem. The rest of the staff, who hardly spoke any German, were unfriendly and hardly willing to communicate. Good breakfast buffet! OK for 1 night.

I had to stay overnight here for work reasons and found out late in the evening that I couldn't log into the Internet to send an important report with video to the company. I did get to the WiFi, but then it was over. So I had no choice but to buy extra volume from a provider. Unfortunately, the dinner was overcooked (lumberjack steak extra extra cooked), which also explains the long wait for it. The room and the toilet have a "rustic" charm. I advise business travelers who need a stable internet connection to stay at this hotel.

Rarely have I experienced such poor, unfriendly service in a restaurant. We were speechless, but so were the other guests, who also demonstratively didn't tip. We recommend that Mr. Donya change careers as soon as possible!

It's basically just a guesthouse, and you won't find a reception desk. The beautiful location with a view of the Rauschberg is certainly positive. The biggest weak point, on the other hand, is the staff, who only speak a few words to the guest, or even greet them several times, and are completely ignored. If you're looking for a place to sleep but don't want any other contact (as in hotels with automatic check-in only), this is the place for you.

To the restaurant: We had dinner with four people. We had to wait over 75 minutes for our food, you can still understand that, unfortunately we all got our main courses at different times, you can still understand that if the restaurant had been full... There were a maximum of 10 guests in the restaurant... Two of us also got the wrong main course. When we paid we had to pay for the expensive wrong dishes that we hadn't even ordered. Staff extremely unfriendly! We're definitely not going there again!

I can only comment on the food as we only ate in the restaurant. Location very good, service very friendly. The food was all great and seemed fresh.

I have known Chiemgau for over 30 years. I lived in Reit im Winkl for a while. I then became a regular guest at the Hotel Sonnleiten, which later became part of the DEVA Hotel Ressort. Since Reit im Winkl was full, I went to Ruhpolding for a short vacation. The weather and the hotel were all perfect. Many greetings from your regular guest Margaret Heeger. Wir waren heute Abend zum Essen da. Es war einfach wunderschön. Angefangen bei der super Bewirtung. Das Personal war zu jeder Zeit immer sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Essen war sehr gut. Die Qualität ist perfekt und es soooo lecker. Ich verstehe die schlechten Bewertungen nicht. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder. Nochmals ein dickes Lob an die Menschen der Küche die alles so gut und liebevoll zubereitet haben und an die Bedingungen die für einen unvergesslichen Abend gesorgt haben....DANKESCHÖN 👍👍👍😊

We had a very pleasant time here. The rooms are certainly no longer the newest, but everything is clean and tidy. The breakfast and dinner were impeccable. The staff were very accommodating and friendly. We also borrowed e-bikes from the hotel for our stay, which we really liked. The hotel is very quiet and is perfect for getting out into nature. The bottom line is that we would be happy to come back at any time.

Very disappointed, the service was very friendly, but the Käsespatzle with "Bergkaese" For 14.50€ it was a disgrace that was Emmentaler Streukaese from Aldi!!!! 😵‍💫 The glass of beer is also overpriced at €5.10 👎 This is how you make your “reputation” Broken, good luck, we definitely won't be coming back!! Wir haben in der Nähe übernachtet und haben ein gutes Restaurant gesucht und gefunden. Wir haben ein Fischgericht gewählt, und das war eine gute Wahl. Sehr zu empfehlen!

We stayed there for 2 nights while traveling through Croatia. The whole hotel is a disaster for the price we paid. None of the employees really speak German, let alone understand it. On the first evening the food was cold and we sent it back The beds are a complete disaster because you can sleep better in a hammock. We changed rooms after the first night. The mattresses were a little better but everything was totally squeaky. Everything there is totally outdated For a price of 400 euros for two people you would expect a little more. We didn't even get the extras included in the offer, e.g. use of the swimming pool

You can visit Ruhpolding again and again

I only used the Fischerwirt restaurant for dinner on two days of my vacation because my actual hotel was still “closed” on Monday and Tuesday. Therefore, I would only like to assess the restaurant area below. Basically, I think a “cozy country inn” is very nice, but it should also keep up with the times in terms of furnishings and decoration. Unfortunately that wasn't the case here, I had the impression that there was still "clear room for improvement" in some areas - starting with the quality and taste of the food served in the restaurant.

The breakfast is very good! Okay for a stopover. The room - especially the bathroom - is clean, but old-fashioned. But the price is totally okay.

I can definitely recommend this hotel!

To the restaurant: Does not correspond to the designated higher-end cuisine. Ingredients were exchanged without consultation and the taste was even omitted. It's a shame that there is no consultation with the guest if ingredients are not available and need to be replaced if necessary.

We had a very nice short vacation. The view with the mountain panorama was wonderful. Very nice and friendly staff. The food was also very good.

We went to the Fischerwirt for a short vacation last week. Everything worked out perfectly. The double room with balcony was very nice and clean, the breakfast was excellent, very rich and always topped up, the service was excellent and the 4-course menu in the evening was very, very good. The hotel is located on the edge of Ruhpolding and is ideal for excursions. We will definitely and happily come back.

Unfortunately we were unable to travel due to illness. One night was booked!! The hotel was not willing to allow a free cancellation accept. Even breakfast, which could not be consumed, had to be paid for. Also the request for a voucher for a new, next one Providing an overnight stay in the future was not accepted. Service and understanding look different.

The impressions that came to me are not bad. Room was quite OK. Service very friendly, attentive and reliable. The food wasn't always the best! The breakfast was meager and lacked variety. Overall it was tasty. In the evening we had a buffet, which actually always lacked sauce. Otherwise, the á la carte selection was very distinctive and had a fine mass of home cooking. Final impression: The hotel, with a touch of grandma style, did what it was supposed to do.

It's a novelty for me to have to rate a hotel negatively before entering. I had three on the day of arrival between 6:17 p.m. and 6:25 p.m.!!! Calls from the hotel. When I called back and asked why I was being called, I was asked when we would arrive. They would just wait for us because otherwise there would be nothing going on!!! In one word: UNBELIEVABLE!!! When we arrived, staff came to us with their mouth and nose protection pulled down in contrast to. I then asked the “telephone operator” if it was common practice to pressure guests to check-in? According to the travel documents, check-in was possible until 9 p.m. The reference to guests who arrive around 10 p.m. or later is of very little interest to me, because I can't be blamed for other people's lack of intelligence. In general, the hotel not only lacks skilled staff, but also employees with a minimum of decency and education. In my opinion, with staff that are probably paid minimum wage, you won't stay competitive for long. To the room!? Hair in bed! I think that says it all!

Very quiet hotel on the outskirts of Ruhpolding with excellent cuisine. The staff was very friendly and attentive; the room neat and clean; However, it is a bit old.

We stayed at the Hotel Fischerwirt for one night. Booked a simple double room. We were pleasantly surprised at the size of the room. The room was nicely heated, which was very pleasant after skiing. Beds great, water in the shower nice and hot. We liked it very much. The super delicious breakfast is worth mentioning. Our conclusion: very happy again.

Ate here on October 18th, 21, the food was excellently prepared and extremely tasty. Highly recommended: the pork medallions with mashed potato and pumpkin. Relaxing atmosphere in the restaurant, with friendly conditions.

I ordered takeaway food, the man on the phone and when picking up was nice and accommodating. It was quick and easy and everything tasted good. Gladly again.

The staff were very, very friendly, but had to struggle with language-related difficulties. The food (large salad plate) was very attractively presented, the sauce was "neutral" for my taste. Spices (vinegar/oil) were served upon request, but the salad was almost eaten by then.

The food was good, but the price was a bit too high. I think it's a bit overrated overall. But that's my opinion.

Die Unterkunft ist sicherlich etwas in die Jahre gekommen aber gut gepflegt. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und können die Unterkunft weiterempfehlen. Das Frühstücksbüffet war vorzüglich. Der Check in und Check out war unkompliziert und der Mitarbeiter freundlich. Beste Grüße Matthias Weishäupl

Frühstück und Abendessen waren sehr gut. Das WC und die Dusche am Zimmer sind sehr renovierungsbedürftig. Bett und Waschgelegenheit waren gut Unter unserem Zimmer war die Küche, somit bekamen wir die Küchengerüche über die Lüftung ins WC.

Wir hatten drei wunderschöne Tage im Hotel. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich, insbesondere die junge Frau. Das Essen ist hervorragend, die Zimmer nicht mehr ganz aktuell, aber sehr, sehr sauber. Die Lage super. Vielen Dank, wir kommen gerne wieder 👍

Matratzen sind alt und durchgelegen, Spülkasten von der Toilette war undicht, Sicherungskasten ebenfalls defekt. Auswahl am Frühstücksbüffet war gut, allerdings günstige Aufnackwecken. Blick vom Balkon war schön.

Gutes, reichhaltiges Frühstück. Schöne, ruhige Lage am Golfplatz. Abendessen war lecker und eine riesige Portion. (Holzfällersteak) Haus hat viel Potenzial, müsste aber umfangreich renoviert werden. (Gaststube ausgenommen) Die gebuchte Ferienwohnung war nur oberflächlich sauber und ziemlich verwohnt, insbesondere der verschmutzte Teppichboden. Personal kommt scheinbar komplett aus Osteuropa, aber höflich und bemüht. Für das Gebotene in jedem Fall zu teuer.

Also für die kurze Zeit war es echt ein Traum in dem Hotel alles hat gepasst Ein Stern Abzug beim Standort....die ausschilderung könnte besser sein Wird bei den hotel schildern nicht erwähnt und auch das Schild zum Hotel ist relativ klein und übersehbar Dabei braucht sich dass Hotel nicht zu verstecken Von mir würde der Service sowie die Küche 1 Michelin Stern bekommen Bitte macht weiter so

Sehr nette Unterkunft. Wunderbares Frühstûck. Das Bett (Zimmer 3) hat ziemlich gequietscht und geknarrt 🙈 ... bei jeder Bewegung.

Waren auf dem Route 66 goes Ruhpolding treffen. Super zum hin kommen. Zimmer groß und optimal hergerichtet Alles was man für win Wochenende brauchen kann

Das Hotel sieht von aussen recht nett und eben bayrisch aus. Leider ist das Mobiliar und auch die Zimmer ziemlich in die Jahre gekommen. Entsprechen nicht mehr dem heutigen Standard. 70er/80er Jahre Style. Auch die Fenster marode. Die Toilette alles vergilbt noch mit altem Spülkasten. Tut mir leid aber das geht gar nicht mehr, auch die Dusche... Preis/Leistung stimmt gar nicht...

We absolutely loved our stay at the Fischerwirt! My family of 4 met were joined by Oma and Papa and this Gasthof was the perfect start to our journey. It was away from the hustle and bustle of Ruhpolding but close enough for those wishing to do some shopping or wandering. The running/walking/biking trails link the entire area and the hiking around there is really wonderful! Breakfast was fantastic; a typical bavarian breakfast spread with nice additions that made everyone happy! My two young boys devoured the leberkase. Papa loved the scrambled eggs. Dinner was also fantastic. We enjoyed sitting on the patio outside with fantastic mountain views while sipping Hofbrauhaus Traunstein bier. The food was great, especially the kinder schnitzel for the boys. We ate two meals there and were so happy, we probably should have just stayed for the third night! The playground is such a nice touch. The boys could expend some of their youthful energy! The open grass space was also super nice and the boys enjoyed kicking the fussball all over! It was so wonderful to be able to sit and relax knowing our boys were having fun, safe and not bothering anyone (especially us trying to enjoy a moment of silence)! It was a wonderful stay! Will definitely be back!

Die Karte dieses etwas versteckt liegenden Restaurants ist sehr vielfältig. Die Gerichte sind alle lecker. Das Personal ist freundlich und sehr zugewandt. Dazu gibt es eine tolle Aussicht über den Golfplatz zum Rauschberg

Wir haben nur zu Abend gegessen. Der Glanz früherer Jahre ist leider weg. Der "Gruß aus der Küche mit einer Fisch Paste und einer Kräutermischung war gut. Die kleinen Brötchen passten gut dazu. Das Essen, Forelle Müllerin mit Mandelbutter hatte keinen wirklichen Fehler war aber auch nicht herausragend für einen Fischerwirt. Das Gemüse "al dente" aber sehr Ölig. Die kleinen Kartoffeln perfekt. Also Gut aber nicht mehr. Meine Frau hatte "Wiener Schnitzel". Die Frage ob es eine "kleine Portion" gebe wurde verneint. Dann kamen 2 mittelgroße Schnitzel am Teller an. Hm, ob da nicht etwas für den Wunsch des Gastes möglich gewesen wäre? Die Panade welche das Wiener Schnitzel ausgezeichnet war garantiert nicht nach dem Originalrezept. Eher wie ein normales Schnitzel. Das Fleisch einwandfrei. Also leider auch nur Ok. Der Service sehr formal. Es gab an der Geschwindigkeit mit der wir unsere Essen und Getränke bekamen war schnell und fast perfekt. Der Hilfskellner hatte einen kleinen Fauxpas, kann passieren, aber die (nicht) Reaktion war krass. Beim servieren der Forelle wurde beim Abstellen des Teller auf den Tisch etwas Mandelbutter auf den Tisch verschüttet. Keine Reaktion der Servicekraft. Sie ging einfach weg. Bevor ich das Öl mit der Serviette auffangen konnte tropfte etwas Öl auf mein Bein. Da ich eine kurze Hose an hatte war es kein Problem. Kann vom Service besser gelöst werden. Bier und schwarzer Tee waren ok. Das ganze für 45 Euro - geht so Ich hoffe das Restaurant fängt sich wieder und kommt zu alter Qualität zurück

Eigentlich alles Top. Doch langsam müsste man sich mal Gedanken machen ob nicht ein paar Möbel auf den Zimmern ausgetauscht werden müssten. Dass einen aus den Sitzflächen der Sessel die Füllung anlacht, geht schon mal gar nicht. ich würde aber trotzdem wiederkommen, es war sehr schön.

Wir waren zum Abendessen da. Die Bedienung war freundlich. Das Essen war fünf Minuten nach der Bestellung da!! Da hatte ich schon Bedenken! Das Wiener Schnitzel kam direkt aus der Friteuse. Mehr Panade wie Schnitzel!!! Das Fleisch war so unglaublich dünn. Das es etwas größer aussah, hatte man das Schnitzel ganz oft in der Panade gedreht. Das Restaurant kann ich nicht weiterempfehlen

Gemütlich, freundlich und ein feines Bett

Service gut, Essen lecker, super Ausblick in die Berge ( wenn man draußen sitzt ). Hier kann man gut essen und einen Blick in die Ferne genießen.

Emplacement exceptionnel ! Aux pieds même des Alpes bavaroises (on les touche du doigt), à la campagne, vue de dingue sur les montagnes, calme, petit déjeuner varié, chambre confort (avec terrasse) avec vue sur les montagnes et le golf dont le trou 1 est à 5 mètres 🤗 Dans la chambre que nous avions, pas de porte de séparation avec la partie douche et le lavabo est dans la partie sommeil. Chien accepté. Restaurant très copieux à un prix très correct , demi pension possible avec 4 plats Le village , en été, propose une multitude d'activités (luge d'été , parapente, golf, delta plane) et de restos Mon mari veut y revenir pour une semaine complète.

Zwei Nächte haben wir im Fischerwirth verbracht. Die Lage war sehr schön. Das Frühstücksbuffet war sehr gut und absolut ausreichend. Der Service war super, alle waren sehr freundlich. Ein paar Kleinigkeiten im Zimmer (persönliche Meinung) könnte man verbessern wie zum Beispiel Betten in Normaler Länge und eine Tür zur Dusche, für die Privatsphäre aber das sind nur persönliche Ansprüche. Rund um waren wir sehr zufrieden.

Ich weiß nicht, wer der Koch ist, aber er ist mega gut! Wir waren 2 Tage hier im Hotel und konnten wirklich einiges probieren. Die Rippchen, Forelle, Kaiserschmarren und Knödel mit Marille - alles hat ausgezeichnet gut geschmeckt!!!
