Staff was friendly and the food was ok

We wandered here from Peine and ate a plate of doner kebabs. Things couldn't have been worse. We've never seen doner meat like that before, and we wouldn't want to experience it again. Indefinable, inedible. The side dishes were also uninviting. The shop was cold and uninviting. The only positives were that we received friendly service and the restrooms were clean. The shop probably survives on walk-up customers.

Ate there yesterday, a bratwurst in a bun. The sausage tasted weird. Then I got a stomach bug that evening.

Update... 4 stars for open communication and a very good second attempt! Unfortunately, I can only give one star, as our visit to Ahoi Hildesheim was a huge disappointment. We traveled all the way from Bremen, including a detour, only to find the door locked. The reason: a private party – and there was no notice on the website or other online platforms. Such information is important and should be communicated clearly and early on to save guests unnecessary trips and frustration. Very annoying and completely avoidable! It's a shame, because we were really looking forward to our visit.

Very disappointing. The burger was cold, the drink was missing ice cubes, and the second portion of fries, which should have been part of the meal, was not provided. Furthermore, there was only one napkin for two people. The restroom was also appalling – no toilet paper and absolutely filthy. Apparently, you can only pick up your order at the counter; no one is available to help if you want to report a problem. Overall, a truly terrible experience – I will definitely never return.
