We had a voucher and wanted to redeem it for a leisurely lunch. So we ordered schnitzel twice with mushrooms and fried potatoes. But what we got was anything but what we expected. The fried potatoes were dripping with fat and were black on one side, the other side was not fried at all, no trace of taste. Unfortunately it was the same with the champions. Yes, and then the schnitzel looked pretty good from the top. But only there, because the back wasn't fried at all and was just covered in fat. There was also no decpration on the plate! Finally, there is the price, which is €19.50/person. believed. We complained about the food to the chef and had it returned. He was in no way receptive to my criticism. I just thought that everything was good with the food and that we should eat somewhere else if we didn't like it. In any case, we cannot recommend the Restaurant Zur Post as any chip shop can do better for less money.

The gypsy schnitzel was huge and freshly prepared. Simply delicious. Price/performance ratio is right and the service was friendly. The toilets were also spotlessly clean. We were very satisfied.

Great cozy atmosphere, a noticeably high product quality of the basic ingredients, which is particularly clear in the schnitzel variations. And the beer on offer wasn't just chosen during a commercial break, no, the boss really thought something through. I came from Berlin and had lunch with my friend from Stendal. No pre-order, a table was assigned straight away. The rustic atmosphere immediately appealed to me. The service was super nice and friendly and the schnitzel with champions and 🍟 was so delicious. You had to wait a bit for the food but since it is freshly prepared you are happy to wait a few minutes longer. Big praise. You can search for such German restaurants with a candle. I can only recommend it.

We were there on a Saturday at 1 p.m. and just wanted to eat a schnitzel. We waited to be offered a seat but instead we were told that we couldn't order anything to eat until we were 5 p.m. Although there were people waiting outside for their food and at 3pm where we drove past there were also people sitting outside with food.

Currywurst was marginal, the other food was good.

It was very tasty and the karl schnitzel lives up to its name. Would love to come here again at any time. From the reception to the bill, the hospitality was very nice and accommodating.

We were traveling spontaneously and wanted to eat in Tangermünde. Although many tables were reserved, we still got two seats. The memory card was very good, and there was also schnitzel with asparagus. The schnitzels, my husband had schnitzel 'Hubertus' and I had chicken schnitzel 'Wellness', were great... Any time again.

The selection of schnitzel is huge, everyone can find their own schnitzel here. Everything really fresh and tasty and sufficient. Fast and friendly service. In an interesting historical building. Gladly again, is a recommendation in Tangermünde.

Ate delicious schnitzel... the mighty Kaiserschnitzel Karl IV... 500gr was very 😋 tasty. The service was friendly and the atmosphere was appealing. We'll definitely come back from the North Sea with the motorhome.

I celebrated my 60th there at the beginning of January. Already registered on October 23rd. When we arrived there in the evening, we were 14 people, and were offered two tables. One on the right, one on the left. No table, as is actually normal. And if you have that If the room divider had been removed it wouldn't have been a problem. Nothing indicated a reservation or celebration. Guess we forgot. The previously offered gallery was too narrow for us. As I said, 14 people were registered. The gallery had space for ten people. We all also noticed the very harsh and snarky service, I think the Schnitzel Empress herself. I have eaten there several times and knew the resolute nature of the waitress, but this time it was too much. We will I won't be coming back, there are plenty of other restaurants to choose from. It's a shame, because everyone enjoyed the food. But that's not all, is it?

We stopped in to have something to drink. It was cold outside, so the delicious wedding soup came in handy. Our dog got a treat. We were all very satisfied 😃.

We spontaneously stopped by here on a Saturday. The restaurant was almost empty. We found the service to be very unfriendly. Could be that it was because we only ordered drinks and two soups (because we weren't hungry and just wanted to warm up). Nevertheless, you can receive a friendly welcome and service. The service staff preferred to chat and make phone calls. When we got the two soups, it was clear to us that nothing here was fresh. It was just convenience and done. Just warmed up. There wasn't even a slice of toast or bread. In any case, despite being dissatisfied, we tipped out of decency. No thanks were given. We didn't say goodbye either. If you can still afford to treat your guests like that in this day and age, then hats off!

Der Name ist Programm, richtig leckeres (großes) Schnitzel zu einem guten Preis. Als Schnitzelliebhaber muss man dort gewesen sein.

Die Gaststätte hat ihr bekanntes postalisches Ambiente. Im Gegensatz zu dem Gewohnten haben sich die Preise in einer kaum zu glaubenden Weise erhöht. Wo laut im Internet einsehbaren Speisekarten das vollwertige Essen rund 16 Euro kostete, waren es gestern am 28.12.2023 rund 19 Euro. Die Krone wurde bei Getränken aufgesetzt. So kostet ein Glas 0,4 Liter Apfelschorle unglaubliche 6,40 Euro!! Übliche Preise, allerdings bei 0,5 Liter-Gläsern, kosteten bislang 4,50 Euro. Das ist in unseren Augen Preistreiberei und wir haben uns entschieden, diese Gaststätte nicht mehr aufzusuchen. Als Warnung an potenzielle Gäste: schauen Sie sich vor einer Bestellung die Preise genau an.

Soooo leckere Schnitzel!!! Tolle Qualität, leckere Beilagen. Ein sehr netter Service und ein tolles Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis machen den Aufenthalt sehr angenehm. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

In die Jahre gekommende Einrichtung, manch einer mag es bestimmt. Das Essen war grundsätzlich nur in Ordnung, nichts besonderes. Pommes waren richtig schlecht, im zu alten Fett zubereitet... Wurde auch später bestätigt... Trotzdem kam keine Entschuldigung dafür... Dafür hätte man auch bei der Rechnung etwas ändern müssen, das wurde nicht angeboten. Schade. Die Kellnerin ist vom alten Schlag, bestimmt schon lange dabei. Deswegen hätten wir uns einen anderen Umgang gewünscht. Sie war oft unfreundlich und ist mit der Situation mit den Pommes nicht wirklich professionell umgegangen. Wir kommen nicht wieder.

Das Essen war sehr gut. Die Bedienung war nett und freundlich. Wir gehen auf jeden Fall wieder hin 👍

Spontan, sind wir in Tangermünde zum Schnitzelkaiser. Das Schnitzel hat super geschmeckt. Und auch der Matjes war sehr lecker.

Eines der besten Schnitzel das ich je gegessen habe. Aufgrund von personalausfällen mussten wir etwas länger auf unser Essen warten, aber das warten hat sich gelohnt. Die freundliche Bedienung hat uns im vorab auf den Umstand hingewiesen und auch dafür gesorgt das das Restaurant nicht zu viele Gäste empfängt. Die Qualität der Speisen fand ich sehr gut, alles wurde frisch zubereitet. Die Preise sind für das gebotene absolut angemessen. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder.

Ich hatte ein sehr leckeres Schnitzel mit Rahmchampignon, Kroketten und Beilagen Salat, Super lecker und mega frisch zubereitet.

Zum Saisonende sind wir mit Motorrad unterwegs hier spontan Mittags in Tangermünde eingekehrt und haben sehr schönes Ambiente, nette & aufmerksame Bedienung und 2 mega leckere Schnitzel gegessen...ich weiß nicht ob es meine schlanke Voll-Kombi war, aber der Koch meinte es wirklich gut mit der Portion und ich hab am Ende noch abends mit meinen beiden Kids das restliche Schnitzel und die Pommes gegessen - es wurde kein Happen weggeworfen. Ist keine Schande sich den Rest in den Rucksack zu packen bei den Portionen (und die schmecken auch abends im Heißlüfter gewärmt genauso gut ;) ) Absolute Empfehlung und auf meiner Biking-Karte ein vorgemerkter Ort wenn Spargelsaison ist nächstes Jahr!

Das Schnitzel war groß, hatte aber wenig Geschmack. Die Pilze auf dem Schnitzel Hubertus waren frisch, nicht aus der Dose!

Wer beim Schnitzelkaiser nicht satt wird ,ist selber schuld. Es schmeckt ausgezeichnet und die Auswahl ist bombastisch. Ich kann nur sagen "Danke" an das nette Personal und für den schönen Abend.

Schnitzel pierwsza klasa, wzięłam wersję tradycyjną i polecam - pyszne, świeże ziemniaki dobrego gatunku, do tego kalafior z bułką i kotlet - cienko rozklepany, ale ja tak lubię, chrupiąca panierka. Reszta wycieczki wzięła odpowiednio - również Schnitzel, ale zapiekany ze szpinakiem i z serem oraz zestawy z matjasem. Wszyscy wyszliśmy zadowoleni. Jedliśmy na miejscu w Biergarten - przyjemnie. Zamawiając wodę nie zapytano, czy chcemy gazowaną, czy nie, dostaliśmy z gazem.

Wunderschönes Familiengeführtes Restaurant. Hier gibt es nichts aus der Dose, alles wird von Hand gemacht und das schmeckt man auch. Das Personal und die Betreiber leben das noch richtig und betreiben ihr Restaurant nicht aus der Not, und genießen sie auch die Zeit mit ihrem Gästen. Hier hat man die Leidenschaft zur Gastronomie auf dem Teller und das Herz auf der Zunge. Im Schnitzelkaiser findet man auch noch einen gepflegten Stammtisch und eine ordentliche Tresenkultur, die sonst so allmählich ausstirbt. Wie lieben es und freuen uns auf jeden Besuch dort.
