Delicious breakfast with a difference

Ich hatte extra einen Tisch reserviert und als ich kam musste ich 10 Minuten warten, bis ich einen Tisch bekomme, da man mich vergessen hatte ! Also ein Witz, dass wir dauernd gebeten werden, die Reservierung zu bestätigen und dann ist doch kein Tisch für uns parat !

A bit unusual and not always efficient in operation, but this is made up for by the friendliness of the staff. The food was good, I had pasta with truffles. The wine, a Laya from Spain, was also very good. Full-bodied, fruity and dry. I'd love to come back.

We ate the house platter - for a whopping €45. Since the few slices of baguette were far too few for two people, we ordered more - paid another €3.50. Absurdly overpriced. No dip on the plate, no salami on it. Only 2 small pieces of cheese, 3 shrimps (for 2 people...) sausage, ham + olives etc. were there. For the flagship plate of the house and what was on it - ridiculous for the price.

It opened with incredibly friendly and competent staff, but unfortunately no one is left. About my last three visits: - I wasn't served once because the four of us had to talk - Once I had to wait a very long time because the employees were busy again and then I only got a small part of what I wanted - Today the lady worked at the counter (compliment) but didn't know her goods and had even less idea of ​​hygiene rules. I would like to know where I can meet the old team now. As a customer, I would like to follow them

Wir haben die Platte des Hauses - für satte 45 € - gegessen. Da die wenigen Scheiben Baguette für 2 Personen viel zu wenig waren haben wir noch nachbestellt - nochmal 3,50 € bezahlt. Absurd überteuert. Kein Dipp auf der Platte, keine Salami drauf. Nur 2 kleine Stücke Käse, 3 Garnelen (für 2 Personen...) Wurst, Schinken + Oliven usw. waren da. Für das Aushängeschild - Platte des Hauses und dem was da drauf war - lächerlich für den Preis.

Das Essen war lecker, die Lebensmittelqualität echt gut. Der Service steht dem noch etwas hinten an, aber beim nächsten Besuch werden wir sicher überzeugt.

Unfortunately disappointing. Very smiling from the outside, the food selection and the ambience are great. However, Degusto lost all points with the service. More sympathy and guest communication should be better for an 'I want to appear upscale as a restaurant'. At least a 'hello' when you come in or forwarding the request for payment would be enough.

Previously I only knew Degusto as a delicatessen in Freiburg main station where you could also eat delicious snacks. During my visit to Freiburg this year, I discovered that Degusto had moved to Martinstor and now operates a so-called restobar there. The ambience is more than dignified and invites you to linger. The menu offers various small dishes and there is also a lunch menu and an evening menu. As usual, the food itself is of top quality and taste. Friendly and attentive staff round off my more than positive overall impression, so it's definitely not the last time I'll be here.

A pleasure triad! Chairs are in high demand at sunset. Portions rather small. If you are very hungry, you should go somewhere else.

Die durchgehend hohe Lautstärke hat eine normale Unterhaltung nicht erlaubt und den hervorragenden Gesamteindruck getrübt.

Ausgesuchte Speisen, interessante Weinkarte, erfrischende Getränke und ansprechende Location in der Freiburger City. Für Stadtbesucher und Einheimische eine gute Wahl, wenn auch nicht ganz billig. Dafür stimmen jedoch Leistungen und Portionen, was gerne weiterhin so bleiben darf. Wir kommen wieder.

We ordered 3 drinks here and my partner went into the bathroom across the street and they took our chairs away and tried to kick us out. We didn’t know where the bathroom was as we were sitting outside and made a simple mistake and they were very nasty to us.

I haven't rated a single restaurant yet, but I just have to say this: I've never experienced such unfriendly service. We were here at the European Championship game and our neighbors' chair was taken away because they hadn't ordered enough, so the three of us sat down on two chairs so that the father next door with his baby could sit down again. Overall, there are far too beautiful places in Freiburg to feel unwelcome here :) Unfortunately too much money invested in the wrong place for the wrong people...

Very good food and great service, five of us went there for lunch, but we didn't wait longer than 15 minutes for our food.

We shared spanische Tapasteller and it was very tasty and it was big enough for two people. The pricing is little bit higher than the other restaurants in Freiburg, but the atmosphere and the architecture of the place was giving the luxury vibes.

Sensational restobar in Freiburg. Here the guest experiences a great ambience, super-friendly service and excellent culinary delights. We were there two days in a row and had a lovely time in the outdoor area. Thanks to the entire DEGUSTO team as well as the friendly gentlemen at the regulars' table outside who, when the weather was nice, did their work with wine and cell phones and also had a friendly chat with us as guests. Reservations recommended! We'd love to come back! It's great!

Good delicatessen with great products and very good wines. We spent lunch comfortably with friendly service. We drank the open wines and ordered the Spanish tapa plate. Delicious products of high quality. For dessert we had the chocolate banana tart and we were more than satisfied. Price performance fits.

On a weekend trip to Freiburg we discovered this restaurant in the city and ate there at lunchtime. The selection of dishes is great, typical Italian delicatessen, different types of ham and cheese. A lot of things are suitable to take with you. There is no doubt about the quality, we found it excellent. The atmosphere is very pleasant. Unfortunately, the service wasn't that good during our visit, but on a Saturday lunchtime, you can be patient. It is well known that finding good service employees has become very difficult. Kudos at this point for the boss who took a little care of us. I can highly recommend the restaurant.

Really cute little place with a great ambience. We sat outside in the shop window and watched the hustle and bustle of Freiburg. The focaccia of the day was particularly recommended, for us with salmon. The portions are huge and the price is therefore completely reasonable. Coup de heart!

I'm disappointed that I went to your place with a friend on a Thursday evening. We weren't served for 20 minutes, probably because we sat outside. It was still covered outside. I then found out whether we had to/should get the drinks ourselves. The employees informed me that they were coming out to us. 30 minutes and still no one came. Given the price and presentation, I don't think that's right.

I'm half-Italian and I just don't see any reason to sell antipasti (nothing special about it) for €18 and pay €11 (!) for a spritz. Unfortunately, the Germans still like to be tempted with truffles, etc., but it is still absolutely overpriced because the food is simply standard by Italian standards. But everyone has to decide for themselves what they are willing to pay. I think it's quite a rip-off under the guise of delicatessen.

Vom Hauptbahnhof ist das "Degusto-Feinkost" Ende 2022/Anfang 2023 in Ecke Humboldt-/Kaiser-Joseph-Straße unmittelbar am Martinstor in zentraler Innenstadtlage gezogen. Neben täglich wechselnden drei Mittagsgerichten hat der Gast eine große Auswahl an südländischen Spezialitäten

For a snack after a stroll through the city, come here. Service was friendly and quick. When checking out, I rounded up very generously and assumed that an 8€ tip would be okay for a 12€ tip. The panini was fresh and very tasty - the coffee was really good and the homemade iced tea wasn't as standard as everywhere else. You can sit nicely and have a nice atmosphere and feel comfortable. Really beautiful and particularly decorated.

Trendy restaurant for young and old. Mediterranean foods for snacking or normal meals. But there is also a nice selection to take home from the counter. Very friendly staff. There is still room for improvement when it comes to putting together the menu, but all in all it's worth a visit.

Eine sehr schöne Location im Herzen von Freiburg.

Dieser Laden ist so schön und liebevoll eingerichtet, das alleine reicht schon für einen Besuch. Wir waren kurz nach Weihnachten hier und wollten eigentlich nur etwas kleines süßes zum Dessert. Die Vitrinen sind allerdings so einladend das man fast alles möchte. Wir aßen ein Schokoladen Soufflé mit köstlichen Sorbet und eine Torte de la Nonna. Dazu tranken wir zwei offene Weine (weiß und rot) beide perfekt temperiert und sehr gut. Ergänzt haben wir dann nach dem Dessert den Hunger mit Schinken und Oliven. Hier lebt jemand Gastronomie in Perfektion. Vielen Dank für die tolle Bedienung wir kommen wieder.

Abends leider werden die Bedingungen sehr unangenehm ca ab 18 Uhr wenn sie etwas in Streß geraten verlieren sie die Kontrolle, die Gäste am Tisch müssen sehr lange warten auf ihre Bestellung. Ach ja und der Neue Leiter heute Abend da ist sollte der Chef bald entlassen der tut sich gerate nicht beliebt machen, und ist unfreundlich auch zu meinem Vierbeiner ( Sie Charles ) dem Chef bitte ich such dir was mit einem freundlichen Gesicht , das wirkt wunder ☝️ Naja wenn Chef selbst die Mitarbeiter lange allein lässt fangen die Mäuse an zu tanzen Der Chef selbst sehr freundlich 👍 Und fünf Sterne gibt man nur kastro oder Restaurants mit einem oder drei Sternen köche zu Info ☝️

Ich wollte heute Abend mit meiner Frau im Degusto Essen gehen. Auf Nachfrage nach zwei Plätzen wurde mir vom Service-Mitarbeiter mitgeteilt, dass heue Abend sehr voll und alle Plätze belegt sind. Dies war soweit auch in Ordnung. Aber als wir das Lokal verlassen und zu einem späteren Zeitpunkt wieder kommen wollten, registrierte ich, dass zwei Personen bezahlt hatten und sich gerade im Aufbruch befanden. Plötzlich sah ich wie zwei Frauen, die gerade erst ins Lokal gekommen waren, den Service-Mitarbeiter nach einem Platz fragten und er Ihnen die gerade eben frei gewordenen Plätze zuweisen wollte. Auf meinen Hinweis, dass wir Ihn gerade vorher nach den Plätzen gefragt hatten behauptete er, dass die Frauen ums Eck gestanden und eine halbe Stunde auf einen Platz gewartet hätten. Da er die beiden Frauen duzte und ich zuvor niemanden gesehen habe, der gewartet hätte, lag für mich eher die Vermutung nahe, dass er die frei gewordenen Plätzen seinen Bekannten zukommen lassen wollte. An einem Nebentisch wies ihn zudem eine Frau darauf hin, dass sie ebenfalls gleich zahlen wollen und ihre Plätze frei werden. Diesen Hinweis hat der Service-Mitarbeiter nicht aufgegriffen, sondern den beiden Frauen den frei gewordenen Platz zugewiesen und mich mehr oder weniger hinaus komplimentiert. Ein solches Vorgehen eines Service-Mitarbeiters finde ich für ein solches Lokal nicht in Ordnung zumal es in Freiburg genügend Lokale gibt, wo man anders behandelt wird. Die Konsequenz für mich wird sein, dass ich dieses Lokal nicht mehr aufsuchen werde auch wenn ich das Ambiente und die Speisen sehr gut finde.

Der Macchiato ist dort außergewöhnlich gut. Muss man probiert haben!

Super leckere Speisen, Feinkost, Weine und Kaffee. Perfekt für einen lockeren Abend, ein Mittagessen oder etwas Besonderes zwischendurch.

Freiburgs beste und leckerste Restobar ... die ich schon seit ihrer damaligen Eröffnung im FR-Hbf kenne. .. und nun hat sie sich in der NEUEN Location am Martinstor von kleinen kulinarischen Genüssen bis hin zu Mittags- und Abendgerichten zur Top-Adresse entwickelt. Wirklich sehr zu empfehlen!

Wir kamen gleich zweimal hierher zum Essen. Die Focaccia und der Risotto waren ein Traum. Auch die Antipasti sind sehr lecker. Uns gefiel auch das Ambiente und wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen. Die Bedienung war das eine Mal sehr schnell und aufmerksam, beim zweiten Mal mussten wir ein wenig länger warten bis wir bemerkt wurden. Trotzdem: Wer die italienische / spanische Küche mag, wird hier glücklich.
